Adams comes up huge Week 15
Now that was a week of fantasy scoring. There were three players that topped 40 points in Week 15. Three. That is very unusual to see so many high-scoring players in a single week. There were three others that had 35-plus fantasy points. It was quite the week of scoring for some fantasy teams, leading to a lot of high-scoring fantasy contests. The bad news is the one player that had a down week was Saquon Barkley, who led fantasy teams to many wins before this week. Hopefully, Barkley’s bad week didn’t sink your fantasy team.
Rams 12, 49ers 6
Fantasy Stud: Puka Nacua. Nacua was one of the few offensive bright spots in this game. He had seven receptions for 97 yards. He also ran twice for 11 yards, finishing with 17.8 fantasy points despite failing to score a touchdown. It was another very good game for Na ua, who has 17-plus fantasy points six straight games.
Fantasy Dud: Cooper Kupp. There were fantasy duds all over this game, but Kupp gets this honor. He didn’t catch a single pass, giving fantasy owners no points in a crucial week of fantasy games. You just didn’t expect that from the normally very dependable Kupp. It was the first game all season he didn’t have at least three catches in a game.
Game Notes: Isaac Guerendo was able to play on his foot injury and got every carry at running back for the 49ers. He ran 16 times for 57 yards and caught four passes for 18 yards.
Kyren Williams had his third 100-yard rushing game of the season. He ran 29 times for 109 yards and caught two passes for four yards. Williams has 29 carries each of his last two games.
Ravens 35, Giants 14
Fantasy Stud: Lamar Jackson. Jackson had another one of his monster games. He was 21-of-25 for 290 yards and five touchdowns without an interception. He also ran six times for 65 yards. Jackson scored a season-best 40 fantasy points. It was his fourth game with 30-plus fantasy points this season.
Fantasy Dud: Derrick Henry. This seemed like a prime matchup for Henry but he wasn’t asked to do much. He ran 14 times for 67 yards and didn’t catch a pass. He also was held out of the end zone. Henry wasn’t terrible by any means, but this seemed like a matchup for big success for Henry.
Game Notes: Tommy DeVito was knocked from the game because of a concussion. He was 10-of-13 for 68 yards before exiting. Tim Boyle played in relief and was 12-of-24 for 123 yards and a touchdown with an interception.
Malik Nabers had 10 receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown. This was his third game this season with double-digit receptions.
Texans 20, Dolphins 12
Fantasy Stud: Jonnu Smith. There were few good fantasy performances in this one, but Smith had another good game. He had nine receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown. Smith has nine or more catches three of four games. He has become a huge part of the Dolphins offense and a must start for fantasy owners.
Fantasy Dud: Tyreek Hill. Hill had a tough game, catching just passes for 36 yards. He had been on a good stretch lately, but hit a road block in Week 15. It was not a good showing for Hill in a crucial week of fantasy games. It was the sixth game this season Hill failed to hit double-digit fantasy points.
Game Notes: Jaylen Waddle injured his knee early in the game and was unable to return. He failed to catch a pass before the injury.
Tua Tagovailoa had a rough game, getting intercepted three times. He was 29-of-40 for 196 yards and a touchdown with three interceptions. He also lost a fumble, giving him four turnovers.
Commanders 20, Saints 19
Fantasy Stud: Terry McLaurin. McLaurin continued his great play, catching seven passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns. McLaurin has multiple scores two straight games and 21-plus fantasy points three straight. He is playing his best football of his career this season.
Fantasy Dud: Zach Ertz. Ertz was quiet in this game, catching two passes for 25 yards. He had 12-plus fancy points three straight games before this dud. You expected better from Ertz in what seemed like a favorable matchup for him. He also left the game early because of a possible concussion. When it rains it pours, right?
Game Notes: Alvin Kamara left the game early because of a groin injury. He did some damage before leaving, having nine touches for 70 total yards and a touchdown. Kendre Miller carried the load after the injury and had nine carries for 46 yards.
Jake Haener started the game but was benched for Spencer Rattler, who played much better than Haener. Rattler was 10-of-21 for 135 yards and a touchdown without a turnover. Haener was 4-of-10 for just 49 yards with an interception.
Cowboys 30, Panthers 14
Fantasy Stud: CeeDee Lamb. Lamb had nine receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown. Lamb had 26.6 fantasy points, giving him 20-plus points two straight games. He is still having a huge season despite playing some of the year with starting quarterback Dak Prescott.
Fantasy Dud: Chuba Hubbard. This seemed like a possible good matchup for Hubbard, but that didn’t hold true. He ran 10 times for just 32 yards and caught four passes for 17 yards. Hubbard failed to top double-digit fantasy points, scoring just 8.9 points. He has fewer than double-digit fantasy points two of three games.
Game Notes: Cooper Rush had a great game, going 18-of-29 for 214 yards and three touchdowns without a turnover. He has multiple touchdowns three of four games.
Rico Dowdle had his third straight 100-yard rushing game. He ran 25 times for 149 yards.
Bengals 37, Titans 27
Fantasy Stud: Tyjae Spears. There were few teams that used him this week, but Spears paid off in a big way for any team that took a chance on him. He scored two touchdowns and led the Titans in receiving yards. He had four carries for five yards and a touchdown, and six receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown. Spears scored 27.2 fantasy points. His previous high this year came in Week 4, scoring 11.9 points.
Fantasy Dud: Calvin Ridley. Ridley had three catches for 41 yards and ran once for 19 yards. It was another down showing for Ridley. He has fewer than double-digit fantasy points three of five games. He has been up and down of late after a good stretch of game.s
Game Notes: Will Levis found his way to the bench, turning the ball over four times. He was 8-of-12 for 89 yards with three interceptions and a lost fumble. Mason Rudolph played in relief and posted good numbers, going 21-of-26 for 209 yards and two touchdowns with an interception.
Chase Brown scored two more touchdowns, giving him 11 on the season. He had 25 carries for 97 yards and a touchdown. He also caught three passes for 16 yards and a touchdown.
Jets 32, Jaguars 25
Fantasy Stud: Davante Adams. This was vintage Adams, catching nine passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns. He also converted a two-point try. Adams scored 42.8 fantasy points, carrying many fantasy teams to wins all by himself. Adams has two straight 100-yard games and nine receptions each of those games.
Fantasy Dud: Tank Bigby. It looked like Bigsby might be taking over the Jaguars backfield but that wasn’t the case - at least this week. Etienne was on the field a lot more Bigsby ran 11 times for 42 yards and didn’t catch a pass. Bigsby also fumbled but didn’t lose the fumble. It was a disappointing showing for Bigsby.
Game Notes: Brenton Strange got the start with Evan Engram done for the season. Strange had a great game, catching 11 passes for 73 yards.
Breece Hall was able to play and got much of the work at running back for the Jets. He ran nine times for 30 yards and a touchdown. Hall also caught two passes for 21 yards.
Chiefs 21, Browns 7
Fantasy Stud: Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy continues to emerge as an elite fantasy receiver. He had 11 receptions for 108 yards. Jeudy topped 20 fantasy points despite not scoring a touchdown. He has 17-plus fantasy points three straight games and four of five. Jeudy is finally having that breakout season.
Fantasy Dud: Travis Kelce. Kelce had another quiet week, catching four passes for 27 yards. Kelce scored just 6.7 fantasy points. He has fewer than double-digit fantasy points two straight games and three of five.
Game Notes: Jameis Winston had a rough game and was benched late. He was 16-of-25 for 146 yards with three interceptions. Dorian Thompson-Robinson wasn’t much better in relief, going 4-of-9 for 18 yards with an interception.
Patrick Mahomes left very late in the game because of an ankle injury. He was 19-of-38 for 159 yards and two touchdowns without a turnover before giving way to Carson Wentz.
Cardinals 30, Patriots 17
Fantasy Stud: James Conner. Conner had a huge showing, rushing 16 times for 110 yards and two touchdowns. He also had five receptions for 28 yards. Conner scored a season-high 30.8 fantasy points. He has 20-plus points two straight games. Conner picked a good time to be playing his best football for fantasy owners.
Fantasy Dud: Kyler Murray. His team won big but Murray didn’t help his fantasy owners. He threw for 224 yards without a score and ran five times for just 11 yards. Murray had just 12.3 fantasy points. He has fewer than 20 fantasy points three of four games.
Game Notes: Trey McBride had nine receptions for 87 yards on 10 targets. He has at least seven receptions four straight games.
Greg Dortch was much more involved offensively, catching three passes for 60 yards. His receiving yards were a season high.
Bucs 40, Chargers 17
Fantasy Stud: Mike Evans. Evans had his best game of the season. He had nine receptions for 159 yards and two touchdowns. Evans scored 36.9 fantasy points. It is a shame he missed so much time this year. He could be having a monster year, having 20-plus fantasy points five times.
Fantasy Dud: Cade Otton. There were a ton of fantasy points in this game from the Bucs, but Otton wasn’t one of those guys. He had two receptions for 24 yards. Otton had just 4.4 fantasy points. He has really cooled lately, having fewer than nine fantasy points four of his last five games.
Game Notes: Bucky Irving was able to play a full game and looked fully healthy. He ran 15 times for 117 yards and caught two passes for negative four yards.
Ladd McConkey returned from his knee and shoulder injuries last week and looked just fine. He had five receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown.
Eagles 27, Steelers 13
Fantasy Stud: DeVonta Smith. The Eagles passing game shined in this one, including both receivers. Smith had 11 receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown. It was his first game all season with double-digit fantasy points or 100-plus receiving yards. Smith does have scores two straight games.
Fantasy Dud: Saquon Barkley. The Eagles won a big game but Barkley wasn’t a big part of the offensive success for once. He ran 19 times for just 65 yards, averaging just 3.4 yards per carry. He had just two receptions for nine yards. Barkley scored 9.4 fantasy points, breaking a streak of at least 14 fantasy points four straight games. He also was battling some sort of knee injury in this game, which is something to watch going forward.
Game Notes: A.J. Brown was much more involved this week but hurt his knee really late in the game. He had eight receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown before the injury.
Jalen Hurts had a three-touchdown performance. He was 25-of-32 for 290 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Hurts also ran 15 times for 45 yards and a touchdown.
Broncos 31, Colts 13
Fantasy Stud: Broncos defense. Denver had a dominating performance in this one, holding the Colts to just 13 points. The Colts also had 310 total yards offensively and turned the ball over five times. The Broncos turned one of those turnovers into a touchdown. It was quite the performance from this unit.
Fantasy Dud: Josh Downs. Downs returned from his should injury this week but wasn’t a big part of the offense. He had just three catches for 32 yards. It is hard to trust Downs with Anthony Richardson as his quarterback. You never know what this passing attack will be like from week to week.
Game Notes: Jonathan Taylor had his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season. He ran 22 times for 107 yards. His rushing numbers will get overlooked, though, because of a lost fumble at the goal line. Taylor just dropped the ball as he was getting ready to cross the goal line on a long run, leading to a turnover.
Bo Nix had an uneven performance. He had three passing touchdowns but also three interceptions. Nix has multiple interceptions two straight games.
Bills 48, Lions 42
Fantasy Stud: Jared Goff. Goff had a magnificent game in defeat. He was 38-of-59 for 494 yards and five touchdowns without a turnover. Goff scored 46 fantasy points, which was a season high. It was his third game this season with 30-plus fantasy points. Goff has 25-plus points two straight games.
Fantasy Dud: David Montgomery. Montgomery was surprisingly quiet in this high-scoring affair. He ran five times for just four yards and caught four passes for 31 yards. He just wasn’t as involved as Jahmry Gibbs, producing a season-worst 7.5 fantasy points. You just didn’t see this game coming from the red-hot Montgomery.
Game Notes: Josh Allen continued his great play. He didn’t turn the ball over and scored four touchdowns. He was 23-of-34 for 362 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran 11 times for 68 yards and two scores.
Amon-Ra St. Brown had an unbelievable performance, catching 14 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown on 18 targets. It was his second game this season with more than 38 fantasy points.
Packers 30, Seahawks 13
Fantasy Stud: Josh Jacobs. Jacobs was leaned on heavily in this game, rushing 26 times for 94 yards and a touchdown. Jacobs also caught four passes for 42 yards, giving him 136 total yards. Jacobs scored 22.6 fantasy points. He has 20-plus fantasy points five straight games and seven of eight. Jacobs has been as good as any fantasy back in the game this season.
Fantasy Dud: DK Metcalf. Metcalf had another down game, catching just three passes for 28 yards. He had a season-low 5.8 fantasy points. Metcalf has fewer than double-digit fantasy points two straight and three of four games. He is really hard for fantasy teams to trust right now.
Game Notes: Geno Smith was knocked from the game because of a knee injury. He was 15-of-19 for 149 yards with an interception before getting hurt. Sam Howell really struggled in relief, going 5-of-14 for 24 yards with an interception.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba continued his great play, catching 10 passes for 83 yards. It was his third game this season with double-digit receptions.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell indeed worked as the deep threat in the absence of Alec Pierce (concussion), however, the 22-year-old was targeted just one time in this contest. The rookie wideout hauled in that one target for a big gain of 36 yards, but that was midway through the second quarter and the speedster did not receive another look for the rest of the game. Not that he was the only one who put up disappointing receiving numbers, as Josh Downs "led" the corps with three catches while Michael Pittman Jr. corralled just two. Jonathan Taylor ran all over the Titans, so there was no need for the Colts to ask Anthony Richardson to throw up a lot of passes, completing just 7-of-11 attempts on the day. Assuming Pierce can play next week, Mitchell will again work as the fourth option in a feeble passing attack and should not be trusted in fantasy championships.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill caught three of his seven targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in their 29-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Hill could've had a much bigger game if not for a few dropped passes, one of which could've been another touchdown. With Jaylen Waddle (knee) out in this game, this wasn't exactly the level of production fantasy managers were hoping for. This is the fifth time this season that the 30-year-old had 30 yards or less, and the 11th time he has failed to reach 15 PPR fantasy points. At this point in the season, it's safe to say that Hill was one of the biggest busts of the 2024 season. His next opportunity comes next Sunday afternoon at the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane carried the ball 17 times for 120 yards and a touchdown and added six catches on seven targets for 70 yards in their 29-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers. This is further evidence that he is a weekly surefire RB1 with his best-rushing production of the season and scoring his fifth touchdown in the last five games. This is the sixth game in a row where Achane has eclipsed 14 PPR fantasy points. The 23-year-old was able to carry the offense on a day when moving the ball through the air was hard to come by. With Miami needing to win the next two games to have a shot at the playoffs, Achane will almost certainly be a big part of the game plan. Miami will travel to take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts caught one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 34-7 blowout win over the Giants. A week after catching four passes, Pitts faded into the background once again, now with one catch or less in five of the last seven games. Michael Penix Jr. targeted eight different receivers in this one, but the bulk of it was focused on the three main pass catchers Drake London, Darnell Mooney, and Ray-Ray McCloud III. If you were a Pitts manager and survived this performance, congratulations. Next Sunday brings a matchup versus Washington who has been good against tight ends this season, so the 24-year-old will be a roll of the dice again for any manager interested in deploying him.

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey delivered a fantastic performance for fantasy managers looking to advance through their playoffs during the 26-24 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The K3 on the season finished four-for-four on field goals while making both of his extra points. He made two 58-yarders, a 53, and a 49-yarder to accrue his ninth double-digit fantasy outing. This was also his second performance of 20 or more fantasy points. He'll go into a Week 17 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles trying to overtake Ka'imi Fairbairn and Chris Boswell.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith caught all six of his targets for 62 yards in the 29-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 16. Smith was again as solid as he has been since Tua Tagovailoa returned in Week 8. This is the tenth time he has seen six or more targets and the sixth time he has cracked 60 receiving yards in a game this season. The only downside in this game was his two-game touchdown streak being snapped. With Miami still fighting to make the playoffs, the last two remaining games will be meaningful, and Smith should be a heavy part of the game plan. He will travel to take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 17.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert grabbed his sixth touchdown of the season in the team's surprising win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The 25-year-old registered two catches for 20 yards and a score on three targets which was just enough to make him a WR3 before the Monday Night game kicks off. This was the second consecutive game that Tolbert found the end zone as well. He'll try to keep this streak alive against a tougher defense in the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray performed well on the ground in the 36-30 overtime loss to the Panthers, adding a 20-yard touchdown run. Murray's official stat line was 20-of-32 for 202 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, including 63 yards rushing and another touchdown. Unfortunately, Murray turned the ball over again, making a questionable throw in a crucial moment that was intercepted. The Cardinals' passing attack has struggled since the bye week, and the Cardinals are eliminated from playoff contention. Heading into next week, the Cardinals may be without running back James Conner (knee) and could be forced to rely more on Murray's legs to create in the running game. Murray will be on the lower end of quarterback rankings for championship week, though his rushing ability will keep him in the conversation when the Cardinals take on the Rams.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker wasn't much of a contributor in the team's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. He posted two receptions for 41 yards on four targets and received one carry which went eight yards in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, Aidan O'Connell threw a lot of short passes that went to Brock Bowers and Ameer Abdullah more often than Tucker and Jakobi Meyers. This marks Tucker's third week in a row as a WR58 or worse in half-PPR formats. He'll try to bounce back against the New Orleans Saints in Week 17.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks posted an efficient day on low volume in the 26-24 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The veteran caught all three of his targets for 48 yards but was unable to get into the end zone. The good news was that he hit his highest yardage mark of the season, but 48 yards for a season-high isn't going to be a fantasy league winner. Cooks remains a very risky boom or bust option, especially with Cooper Rush behind center. The Cowboys take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17 presenting a tougher task for Cooks to score.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell put his game-managing hat on and led the team to a 19-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The former fourth-round pick registered 257 yards with no touchdowns or turnovers on 24-for-38 throwing and seven carries for 12 yards. While his performance wasn't spectacular, especially in fantasy football, he managed the offense enough for the team's third win. His fantasy ceiling is very limited, but he'll look to grab another win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 17.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers couldn't get much of a rhythm going despite getting the 19-14 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He finished with two catches for 41 yards on five targets and no touchdowns. This was his lowest yardage total since Week 11 and his fewest receptions in any game this season. In fact, this was his worst weekly finish of the year as the WR56 in half-PPR formats. He'll try to right the ship for fantasy managers in Week 17 against the New Orleans Saints.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush had one of his strongest performances of the season on Sunday night in the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rush completed 26-of-35 passes for 292 yards and a touchdown, leaning on star receiver CeeDee Lamb for big plays in the narrow victory. The 31-year-old has a tough matchup against Philadelphia on tap for Week 17.
From RotoBaller
Dynasty | Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison had four catches for 39 yards in an overtime loss to Carolina. Dynasty Analysis: Harrison was supposed to be the next big thing at the position, but he's honestly been outplayed by both Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr for most of the season. While his 51/726/7 season thus far has been fine, he's shown little to make us really believe he can be the next Justin Jefferson or Ja'Marr Chase, despite playing with better quarterbacks than both Nabers and Thomas (at least most of the season). Harrison's dynasty value is going to start slipping unless we see some dominant performances.
Dynasty | Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr had nine catches for 132 yards and a touchdown in a loss against the Raiders. Dynasty Analysis: Now armed with 49 targets the past four games and a 73/1,088/9 line as a rookie, Thomas has simply solidified his status as a top-ten dynasty wide receiver. When you consider he's spent the year on a team in turmoil and without Trevor Lawrence for a big chunk of the season, this is even more impressive. As Michael Jordan would say, "The ceiling is the roof," for this young receiver.
Dynasty | Raiders tight end Brock Bowers had 11 catches for 99 yards in a win against Jacksonville. Dynasty Analysis: Bowers now has 101 catches for 1,067 yards and four touchdowns on the season, becoming the first rookie tight end with 1,000 receiving yards since Kyle Pitts (remember him). Before that, the last to achieve the feat was Mike Ditka about 1,000 years ago. Bowers has solidified his status as the TE1 in dynasty leagues and at this point, it's not really that close.
Dynasty | Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr completed 18-of-27 passes for 202 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in a win against the Giants. Dynasty Analysis: Penix's interception was far from his fault as a red zone pass to Kyle Pitts bounced right off his hands and into the arms of the defense. Penix moved the offense effectively and didn't look rattled at all. While this was the Giants defense that doesn't exactly resemble the '85 Bears, Penix gave the Falcons more than Kirk Cousins has for most of the year. His dynasty value is on the rise.
Dynasty | Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs had 109 rushing yards and a touchdown in a win against Chicago. Dynasty Analysis: With David Montgomery out this week, Gibbs took on the role of featured back and flourished. He even added four catches and 45 yards on the day. As long as Montgomery is sidelined, Gibbs belongs locked into playoff lineups. This late season surge will also likely stop any kind of value drop he incurred during the year.
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa completed 22 of 34 passes for 215 yards and one touchdown in the 29-17 Week 16 win over the San Francisco 49ers. He also carried the ball two times for -1 yards. With how stout the 49ers are at defending the pass, Tagovailoa and the Miami offense let the ground game take over. These last two games have been the lowest-scoring stretch of the season for the 26-year-old and couldn't have come at a more inopportune time. However, he was missing one of his top weapons, Jaylen Waddle (knee), which affected the air attack. Miami still has a sliver of hope to make the playoffs if the Denver Broncos somehow lose all their remaining games, so these next two games could be meaningful. Week 17 will be in colder conditions when he and the Dolphins travel to take on the Cleveland Browns.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders running back Alexander Mattison rumbled into the end zone for the first time since Week 6 in the team's 19-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The former Minnesota Viking finished the game with 12 carries for 27 yards and one score while hauling in four of his seven targets for 29 yards. For those fantasy managers who were brave or desperate enough to start Mattison, his touchdown boosted his performance to an RB2 which was his fifth time finishing in that area. The Raiders will take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 17.
