First FAAB run tweaks
Not to jinx things, but it seems the first run of transactions went rather smoothly. We had tie bids for two players, Andrew McCutchen and Drew Pomeranz.
By rule, I conducted a coin flip to break the tie, which flipped one of the two results. Baseball Prospectus (Sayre) did win the flip to keep McCutchen. However Ask Rotoman (Winick) gets Pomeranz for $3 and The Ahtletic (Sarris) is awarded his backup choice of Ryan Zeferjahn for $2. Eno gets $1 added back to his bankroll.
Please make sure your rosters are legal before play starts today (if you have any Yankees) and let's get this show on the road!
P.S. With the new rule on the reserve draft order, I think we can move to the reverse draft order tiebreaker going forward and dispense with the coin flip.
2026 season's first trade!
And it's the new guy getting the ball rolling. Ask Rotoman (Feldman) sends 1B Josh Naylor to Winning Fantasy Baseball (Schechter) for 1B Pete Alonso.
Trade takes effect for Week 1.
