Last night, a small ownership group of two family members, Jim and Kat, completed the acquisition of Turd Ferguson’s All Stars from the RT Sports Orphan Teams List for $45. The new ownership group is excited to join the Farm System league and its strong and competitive fantasy community while starting a new chapter for the franchise, focused on message board checking and championship dreaming.
“We are keeping the team name and have added a fantastic new logo to connect with the public,” said Jim. “With two 9th-place finishes in team history, we are committed to preserving that culture while exploring new frontiers like 8th place and being mathematically relevant well past the All-Star Break.”
Fans across the fantasy universe have been non-reactive or non-existent, and even one of the co-owners seemed skeptical of the transaction.
“That money could’ve been used for a couple of pizzas, or a nice pair of slippers,” Kat observed, before adding, “But if there is joy in owning this team, then go for it.”
There is a lot of pressure on TFAS (not a forever chemical used in non-stick pans, but a proud team-name acronym) to get its roster in order before the roster cut-down in a couple of days, and with a little luck, they’ll only have mild regret for these decisions come May.

I am with whack. I don't think the trade was uneven. Caminero is the star of that deal. If anything, I would lean toward getting Caminero. No chance there was funny business there.
Alchemist has been shrewd in negotiating with me and won't budge.
This is only my second year but I don’t feel like that trade is that bat. Caminaro may already be the best 3b (Jose is amazing but also 32) Baldwin looks to be an upper tier catcher and closers are damn near impossible to get once people have a good one so that’s a pretty nice return. Campbell is way over rated. Roman Anthony could be great and Yamamoto is already awesome but with 3b being a wasteland I think I’d take they caminaro side of that deal
all that said it’s also impossible to find a baseball dynasty calculator worth a damn so it’s just how we all feel but that trade doesn’t look bad to me
I’ve been in this league both years won it the first year and I have to agree. He’s gotten just hammered on a couple trades . Unlike other leagues there’s no voting system if it gets accepted it’s going through . Just because he sent it to you doesn’t make it a good trade . Good for you for taking advantage but bad for the rest of us as a good team just got a lot better .
