Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie star receiver Emeka Egbuka exited Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers due to a hamstring injury.
Egbuka was injured during the second quarter. The team announced he was doubtful to return during the third quarter and ruled him out early in the fourth quarter.
Egbuka, a first-round pick from Ohio State, had two catches for 24 yards before exiting.
Egbuka has been an immediate force and was the first player in NFL history with 25 catches, 400 yards (he entered Sunday with 445) and five touchdowns in his first five career games.
The injury was another blow to a Tampa Bay receiving unit missing stars Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (fibula).
Starts, Sits, Sleepers: Week 6
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens caught nine of his 11 targets for 168 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's Week 6 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The interim No. 1 receiver certainly lived up to the hype, adequately filling for CeeDee Lamb (ankle) for the fourth week in a row. He has five consecutive games with a touchdown, totaling six trips to the end zone during that span. The former Steeler has quickly emerged as a top-six wide receiver in fantasy football thanks to his receiving skills, the great play of quarterback Dak Prescott, and the Cowboys' general ability to rack up yardage. Playing in a negative or even game script certainly doesn't hurt, either. Pickens should remain a viable WR1 option heading into Week 7 against the Washington Commanders.

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane carried the ball 16 times for 128 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns during Sunday's Week 6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He also caught four of his six targets for an additional 22 receiving yards. Achane had his best rushing performance of the year, posting season-highs in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. His speed proved too challenging for Los Angeles' defense to slow down, and he padded his fantasy stats with some extra contributions in the passing game, too. Of course, it wasn't quite enough to get Miami the victory, as the Dolphins fell to 1-5 on the year. The good news for fantasy managers is that Achane has been able to remain a top-10 fantasy running back despite the Dolphins' struggles. He'll continue to be a mid-range RB1 for Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond (neck) is officially active for Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. He was listed as questionable after logging back-to-back limited practices. Raymond had been a productive special teamer through the first four weeks of the season and also caught at least one pass in each of those games. However, he exited early in Week 5, finishing with a three percent snap share and zero receptions. He'll look to return to his Week 4 form, which included two catches, 13 receiving yards, and a special teams touchdown. For now, given his role behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams in a crowded offense, Raymond can be left on waivers.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner (ankle) suffered a dislocated ankle during Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. Warner registered one tackle before being carted off the field in the first quarter, and he was quickly ruled out. The star linebacker will meet with doctors to determine how much time he will miss. A long-term absence is possible. In the short term, San Francisco will likely be without Warner when it takes on the Atlanta Falcons next week. Tatum Bethune should earn more defensive snaps in his absence.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson (back) won't return to Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. Hendrickson suffered a back injury in the second quarter and won't return to this contest. It's not shocking to see the Bengals take the cautious approach with their superstar pass rusher. He'll finish this game with two assisted tackles. It's unclear if Hendrickson will miss additional time, but the Bengals have a quick turnaround with a matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday. Myles Murphy and Cameron Sample figure to see expanded roles with Hendrickson out.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for the rest of Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Egbuka exited in the third quarter and won't return to this contest due to a hamstring issue. It's not shocking to see the Bucs hold out Egbuka given hamstring issues can be tricky. He'll finish his day with two receptions on four targets for 24 yards. The Bucs are extremely thin at wideout with Egbuka injured. Now, Sterling Shepard, Tez Johnson, and Kameron Johnson will be the primary options at wideout for the rest of this contest.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) is currently considered doubtful to return for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. Egbuka is highly unlikely to get back on the field after suffering a hamstring injury in the third quarter. The Bucs aren't going to push anything and will probably take the cautious approach here. If his day is over, Egbuka will finish this game with two receptions for 24 yards. This injury leaves the Bucs extremely thin at wide receiver. Sterling Shepard, Tez Johnson, and Kameron Johnson figure to be the primary wideouts through the rest of this game.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) is currently considered questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Wicks made an early exit in the third quarter due to an ankle issue. Prior to exiting, Wicks hauled in both of his targets for 15 yards. It wouldn't be shocking to see the Packers play it safe and hold Wicks out for the rest of this game. In his absence, Matthew Golden, Romeo Doubs, and Malik Heath will be asked to pick up the slack on offense.

Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle showed that he isn't a one-hit wonder during Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Last week, Dowdle shocked the fantasy football world when he rushed for 206 yards against the Miami Dolphins. Dowdle continued to have success this weekend as he rushed for 183 yards on 30 attempts in the win over the Cowboys. He also hauled in four of his five targets for 56 yards and a touchdown through the air. Chuba Hubbard (calf) missed his second straight game which led to increased carries for Dowdle. When healthy, Hubbard is going to have a tough time taking away carries from Dowdle with the way he's running the ball. Dowdle figures to lose some value once Hubbard returns, but remains a viable option versus the New York Jets next week.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley (hamstring) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders. Ridley exited in the second quarter with a hamstring issue and will be held out for the rest of this game as a precaution. He'll finish this game hauling in his lone target for 18 yards. The loss of Ridley should mean increased roles for Elic Ayomanor, Tyler Lockett, and Van Jefferson. Fantasy managers should check back for more updates on Ridley's status. Sadly, hamstring issues have a tendency to linger, so Ridley could be looking at a multiple game absence.

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte caught all five of his targets for 93 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's Week 6 win over the New Orleans Saints. His touchdowns came on 25-yard and 29-yard receptions, respectively. Boutte had been relatively inconsistent through the first five weeks of the season, but he vaulted himself back onto the fantasy radar this Sunday. His breakout was not necessarily a surprise, given that New Orleans' defense entered this week having allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to perimeter receivers. In addition to taking advantage of a favorable matchup, Boutte capitalized on a homecoming of sorts. The young receiver grew up in Louisiana and previously played college football at Louisiana State University, and on Sunday, he posted a phenomenal two-touchdown game in Louisiana's only NFL stadium. He's a low-end WR3/flex in deeper leagues ahead of another favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson (back) is currently listed as questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. Hendrickson suffered a back injury during the second quarter and was taken to the locker room. It's unclear if the superstar pass rusher will be able to play in the second half. Before exiting, Hendrickson had two assisted tackles. If he's unable to return, Myles Murphy and Cameron Sample would see expanded roles.

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki (left pectoral) exited during the first half of Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Green Bay Packers. He has been ruled out for the remainder of the game. Gesicki had not yet been targeted at the time of his departure, so he finishes Week 6 without any notable statistics. Cincinnati should be able to overcome his injury thanks to their significant tight end depth, including Noah Fant, Drew Sample, and Tanner Hudson. Those three tight ends combined for four catches in the first half against Green Bay.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa criticized some of his teammates and the team's leadership following a 29-27 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6. The defeat dropped Miami to 1-5 on the season. When asked about Miami's slow start, Tagovailoa said that "it starts with the leadership" before proceeding to express his frustration that several players have been showing up late to (or completely missing) players-only meetings. Time is running out for the Dolphins to turn things around, and the quarterback's comments indicate some possible areas of focus for the team to address going forward. All the while, speculation about head coach Mike McDaniel's job security continues to run rampant. Miami's one victory of the season came against the winless Jets in Week 4. The Dolphins will look to get right against a struggling Cleveland Browns team in Week 7.

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 18 of his 26 pass attempts for 261 yards, three passing touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 6 win over the New Orleans Saints. He took just one sack and was the Patriots' leading rusher with an additional 28 yards on the ground. Maye has taken a major leap during his second pro season, ranking as a fringe top-five fantasy quarterback so far. He has scored three total touchdowns in half of his games this season, making him an impactful player for both the Patriots and his fantasy managers. His impressive accuracy, improved decision-making, and dual-threat ability are among the factors that make Maye one of the most impressive and fastest-rising quarterbacks in fantasy football. He'll remain a mid-range QB1 option heading into a favorable Week 7 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner (ankle) exited during the first quarter of Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He appeared to be in significant pain, was carted off the field, and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game. He finishes with just one tackle, bringing his season total to 51. We'll likely know more about his status as the Buccaneers conduct additional testing over the next 24 hours.

Seattle Seahawks tight end AJ Barner continues to put himself on the map in 2025. Barner only earned three targets in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars; however, he caught all three for 71 yards, including a 61-yard reception. Barner has been a difficult player to assess this season. He has accumulated TE1 numbers for the season. However, Barner has earned three or fewer targets in every game but one this season. Most of Barner's fantasy production has been buoyed by his four touchdown receptions in six games. Barner's volume is not prescriptive for sustained fantasy success, but he continues to get the job done more often than not. Still, given his relative lack of volume, fantasy managers should proceed with caution with Barner until his role grows. The Seahawks clearly love Barner as an every-down player and red zone threat, but touchdowns are difficult to bank on each week.

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley (hamstring) exited during the first half of Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders. He is officially listed as questionable to return. At the time of his departure, he had just one target, which he converted into an 18-yard reception. Ridley had a frustratingly quiet start to the season but was finally coming around, as he caught five passes for 131 yards last weekend. Elic Ayomanor, Tyler Lockett, and Chimere Dike will step up as the Titans' top wide receivers until Ridley is able to return.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) was diagnosed with a knee injury following Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Njoku had originally exited in the second half and was listed as questionable with a thigh injury, but head coach Kevin Stefanski clarified postgame that the tight end had injured his knee. He finished the contest having caught three of his six targets for 28 yards through the air. If Njoku is forced to miss extended time, Harold Fannin Jr. would step up as Cleveland's top tight end.

The Seattle Seahawks seem to have unlocked their big-play ability with quarterback Sam Darnold this season. Darnold had two completions of 61 yards in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars en route to 295 passing yards and a pair of touchdown passes. The game marked Darnold's second straight with at least 20 fantasy points. Darnold is emerging as a legitimate weekly option at quarterback with the Seahawks' offense playing at a high level right now. Best of all, Darnold continues to keep the turnovers down. He has only turned the ball over four times this season. Additionally, Darnold is staying upright. He was sacked for just the seventh time on Sunday. At this point, Darnold is no longer a streaming option. He should be rostered in just about every league, even if he is just a solid insurance option for your fantasy team. Darnold faces a tough matchup against Houston in Week 7, but the Seahawks have a relatively quarterback-friendly schedule after their Week 8 bye.
