Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy set to return vs. Ravens

Fri Sep 26 4:30pm ET
Field Level Media

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy is set to return for Sunday's home game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Worthy has been out since he sustained a shoulder injury on the third snap of the season when he collided with teammate Travis Kelce.

Worthy was a limited participant in practice last week and did not play in last Sunday's victory over the New York Giants. He did not have a designation on Kansas City's final injury report Friday.

"He was running fast," Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said about Worthy's participation in practice this week. "We didn't worry about his legs, right? It was an upper-body injury, so he's been able to keep himself in good shape and ready to go."

A first-round draft pick out of Texas last year, Worthy, 22, had 59 receptions for 638 yards and six touchdowns for the Chiefs. He also ran the ball 20 times for 104 yards and three TDs.

In three playoff games last season, Worthy had 19 receptions for 287 yards with three TDs, including two in the Super Bowl against the Eagles on eight receptions for 157 yards.

The Chiefs fell 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX at New Orleans.

Chiefs defensive lineman Ashton Gillotte (elbow) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday. Defensive end Mike Danna (quad) is listed as doubtful, while cornerback Kristian Fulton (ankle) is questionable after both were limited Friday.

Starts, Sits, Sleepers: Week 4

Player Notes
T.J. Hockenson Sep 26 4:50pm ET
T.J. Hockenson

Nobody on the Minnesota Vikings benefitted more from the presence of quarterback Carson Wentz than tight end T.J. Hockenson, who should be considered a high-end TE2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week. The former Iowa Hawkeye caught five balls for 49 yards and a touchdown in Minnesota's rout of Cincinnati last week, and now takes on a Steelers defense in the bottom five against fantasy tight ends. The Vikings, however, will see the return of receiver Jordan Addison (suspension) alongside top target Justin Jefferson, and are still ultimately playing with a backup quarterback, making Hockenson's role in the offense somewhat unclear. The veteran was a non-factor in the first two games before last week's success, so while there is certainly a pathway to another good game, managers should be cautious that Hockenson could be on the back burner if the Vikings lean mostly on their receivers.

Nico Collins Sep 26 4:50pm ET
Nico Collins

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (knee) is off the injury report and good to go for Sunday's contest against the Tennessee Titans. Collins was listed as a limited participant during the team's initial session on Wednesday. However, Collins was able to log back-to-back full practices and avoided carrying an injury designation. After catching only three passes for 25 yards in the season opener, the star wideout has begun to find his footing. In Week 2, Collins brought in three of his nine targets for 52 yards and a score. Then in Week 3, Collins caught eight passes for 104 yards and his second touchdown of the season. Even though the Houston offense has stumbled through the opening month, Collins should continue to see a massive target share and remains a must-start WR1 this weekend.

Will Shipley Sep 26 4:50pm ET
Will Shipley

Philadelphia Eagles running back Will Shipley (oblique) was listed as a full participant on the team's Friday injury report and appears ready to return to game action this weekend against the Buccaneers. This comes after Shipley missed Philly's last two contests with an oblique injury suffered against the Cowboys. In his absence, fellow back A.J. Dillon has seen minimal action, with three carries in Week 2 and none the week after. Tank Bigsby is still yet to record an offensive stat with his new team. In his last appearance, Shipley had just three carries as Saquon Barkley's understudy. So, it seems unlikely that his comeback will change much, and he'll continue to be used sparingly. He's a decent handcuff to keep on standby, but otherwise Shipley should not see fantasy lineups in Week 4.

A.J. Brown Sep 26 4:50pm ET
A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown finally got into his stride with a team-leading performance in Week 3, and looks to carry that momentum into a Sunday matchup against the Buccaneers. Last week, Tampa Bay let Garrett Wilson grab 10 catches for 84 yards and a touchdown, which makes this game look even more promising for Philly's number one wideout. Brown has 18 targets over his last two outings, which makes his woeful Week 1 statline look more and more like a fluke. While the Bucs defense is allowing the 12th-least points to opposing wideouts in fantasy this season, still consider Brown a low-end WR1 this week.

Jordan Addison Sep 26 4:50pm ET
Jordan Addison

Set to play his first game of the season following a suspension, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison is a high-end WR3/Flex with breakout potential against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Though the Vikings are playing with backup quarterback Carson Wentz, Addison will debut against a middling Pittsburgh defense against fantasy receivers. As usual, he'll benefit from the presence of No. 1 receiver Justin Jefferson, while the Vikings also saw positive signs last week from tight end T.J. Hockenson and running back Jordan Mason, all of which could provide the third-year receiver the opportunity to do damage as a regular deep threat. Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell raved about Addison's training camp, and managers should feel pretty good that Addison can quickly resume being a fantasy relevant receiver again.

Jordan Love Sep 26 4:50pm ET
Jordan Love

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love looks to shrug off a loss to the Browns in Week 3 when the Packers head to AT&T Stadium to play the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4. Love has had to bank on efficiency through the first few weeks of the season, but for all the great things about the Packers' offense that we've seen, it's not a fantasy-friendly offense. Love has not been a top 12 quarterback in fantasy in each of the season's three weeks, capping out at QB13 in his Week 2 matchup against the Commanders. Passing volume is a major concern for the Packers as well, as Green Bay sports the third-lowest raw pass rate (53 percent) in the NFL and has just one game over 30 passing attempts since Week 9 of 2024: against the Commanders in Week 2. That game was also just the fourth game of 20+ fantasy points for Love in his last 16 starts where he didn't leave the game dating back to 2023. The Packers have a prime matchup against the Cowboys, who have given up the most passing yardage in the NFL. Still, Love cannot be a trusted fantasy QB1 this week with passing volume concerns.

DeVonta Smith Sep 26 4:50pm ET
DeVonta Smith

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith recorded his first touchdown and his best fantasy outing so far this season against the Rams, and will try to string together a second strong game in a row as he faces Tampa Bay in Week 4. Philly's WRs did exactly as they're expected last Sunday, with A.J. Brown leading the way and Smith following closely behind with similarly solid numbers. Now managers just have to see if this wideout duo can continue to not just coexist, but thrive next to one another. So far this season, the Buccaneers have not allowed two receivers to have nine or more targets in the same game like Brown and Smith accomplished against Los Angeles. It's a shaky matchup against a good defense, but Smith has finally earned some fantasy trust and should be considered a high-end WR3 this week.

Jauan Jennings Sep 26 4:40pm ET
Jauan Jennings

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle) was seen at Friday's practice, according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic. This is an excellent sign for the 28-year-old wideout, as he was unable to practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Fantasy managers should closely monitor the team's final injury report later on Friday, as it will likely provide clarity on Jennings' availability for this contest on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jennings was also unable to play last weekend due to this injury. However, in Week 2, he was very productive, catching five of his 10 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown. If Jennings were to return to the lineup, he would carry WR3/FLEX upside facing a Jacksonville defense that has allowed the sixth-most PPR points to opposing WRs this season. If he were to miss his second-straight game, Ricky Pearsall (knee) would likely see most of the targets and carry WR2 upside.

Jalen Hurts Sep 26 4:40pm ET
Jalen Hurts

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is coming into Week 4 with the hot hand, putting up four total touchdowns and tallying his highest passing yards count (226) so far this season in his most recent performance. Hurts proved yet again that he's one of the most versatile QBs in the league, and he'll have to be at the top of his game this Sunday as he takes on the undefeated Buccaneers in Tampa Bay. The Bucs are giving up 213 yards per game through the air this season-13th-most in the NFL. In what could very well be a tight contest, Hurts could be forced to have another 30+ passing attempts this week. He's a solid QB1 as the 2025 campaign continues.

From RotoBaller

Saquon Barkley Sep 26 4:40pm ET
Saquon Barkley

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had his first down week of the season against the Rams, and looks to get back to his usual ways in an upcoming game against the Buccaneers. The last time Barkley faced Tampa he was kept at bay, unable to find the end zone and rushing for 84 yards in a loss. So far this season, the Bucs have the fifth-best run defense in the league, allowing just 84 yards per game and two total touchdowns through three weeks. Despite all this, Barkley is tied for the second-most attempts in the league (58) and can go off on any given week. He remains a top RB1 for Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Will Reichard Sep 26 4:40pm ET
Will Reichard

Minnesota Vikings kicker Will Reichard should be viewed as a fringe starter for this week's matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Ireland, the first of two European games for Minnesota. The second-year kicker has been terrific so far in 2025, connecting on all six field-goal attempts, all seven PATs, and setting a franchise record with a 62-yard make. The Steelers are one of the tougher matchups for fantasy kickers, however, and the Vikings are facing an unusual variable this week: the turf. In the past, NFL players have complained about slippery surfaces in some of the international games played in soccer stadiums, which is particularly relevant for Reichard. He's still a mid-range option given his good form, but managers should evaluate other options, too.

From RotoBaller

Cameron Dicker Sep 26 4:30pm ET
Cameron Dicker

Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker enters Week 4 as a must-start fantasy option after his game-winning heroics against the Denver Broncos last week. Dicker has been perfect this season, making all seven of his field goal attempts and every extra point. Dicker is essentially matchup-proof at this point. The Chargers' offense is expected to move the ball effectively against the New York Giants' struggling defense, creating numerous scoring opportunities for the kicker. RotoBaller projects Dicker as K3 this week, and fantasy managers should see Dicker as a must-start kicker every week.

From RotoBaller

Harold Fannin Jr. Sep 26 4:30pm ET
Harold Fannin Jr.

Cleveland Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. will look to continue his hot start to the season in a Week 4 road matchup against the Detroit Lions. Fannin has caught 15 passes for 136 yards through three games in his rookie season. He has a good chance to add to those stats against a Detroit defense that has been generous to opposing tight ends thus far, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to the position through three weeks. Fannin is worth a look as a mid-range TE2 in fantasy heading into Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Jaylen Warren Sep 26 4:30pm ET
Jaylen Warren

According to Nick Farabaugh of Penn Live, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (knee) is expected to play on Sunday despite carrying a questionable designation. Warren was listed as a limited participant throughout the week due to veteran rest and a knee injury. However, Warren was unable to progress enough to avoid a designation following Friday's final practice. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status leading up to kickoff in case he faces a setback, but it appears he is trending in the right direction. Throughout the opening month of the season, Warren has been able to emerge as the top option in the Pittsburgh backfield. Warren has been given 14.3 rushing attempts per game and seen 4.0 targets per game. Given his role as a pass-catcher, Warren carries high-floor RB2 value in PPR formats despite facing a tough Minnesota defense that has allowed the 10th fewest PR points to opposing RBs this season. If he is unable to play, Kenneth Gainwell will likely operate as the primary option with Trey Sermon and Kaleb Johnson slotting behind him.

From RotoBaller

Andre Szmyt Sep 26 4:30pm ET
Andre Szmyt

Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt did his best to make people forget about a rough start to the season, hitting a game-winning 55-yard field goal to down the Green Bay Packers 13-10 in Week 3. He will look to keep it going on the road against the Detroit Lions in Week 4. Overall, Szmyt has hit four of his five field goals and all but one of his five extra points through three games. That being said, the Browns have not been great on offense this season, which has not afforded Szmyt many scoring chances. He is not a recommended fantasy option heading into Week 4 against Detroit.

From RotoBaller

David Njoku Sep 26 4:20pm ET
David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) practiced fully on Friday and is listed without an injury designation heading into a Week 4 road matchup against the Detroit Lions. Njoku was limited on Wednesday with a knee issue but was able to practice fully on Thursday and Friday, putting him in line to take the field for the Browns' fourth game of the season. The veteran tight end draws a plus matchup against a Lions defense that is allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends through three games. Njoku is on the board as a low-end TE1/high-end TE2 in Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Jacory Croskey-Merritt Sep 26 4:20pm ET
Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Washington Commanders rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Atlanta Falcons. The seventh-round pick was unable to practice on Wednesday and Thursday. However, he was able to upgrade to full participation on Friday, which puts him in a good position to suit up over the weekend. Through the first three games of his NFL career, Croskey-Merritt has been able to carve out a prominent role in the backfield. In Week 1, Croskey-Merritt led the team in rushing, totaling 82 yards and a score on 10 carries. While he struggled in Week 2, he was able to find the end zone for the second time during their victory over the Raiders last weekend. If Croskey-Merritt were to miss Sunday's contents, fantasy managers should expect Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Jeremy McNichols to dominate the opportunities.

From RotoBaller

Cedric Tillman Sep 26 4:20pm ET
Cedric Tillman

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hand, hip) practiced fully on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. The veteran wide receiver should be good to go for his team's Week 4 road matchup against the Detroit Lions. Tillman has caught both of Joe Flacco's touchdown passes this season, totalling 10 catches for 100 yards thus far. The Lions represent a plus matchup for Tillman as they are allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts through three weeks. Tillman is worth a look as a flex option/WR4 in fantasy this weekend.

From RotoBaller

Jerry Jeudy Sep 26 4:10pm ET
Jerry Jeudy

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is off to a slow start in 2025, catching just 10 of his 21 targets for 134 scoreless yards through three games. He will look to find the end zone for the first time all season in a Week 4 road matchup against the Detroit Lions. Detroit has been generous to opposing wideouts thus far, allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game to the position. That includes big games to Jayden Reed (three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown), Rome Odunze (7-128-2), and Rashod Bateman (5-63-1). Jeudy hasn't been what fantasy gamers were hoping for when they selected him in drafts, but he has a chance to have a nice showing in Week 4, making him a solid flex/WR4 this weekend.

From RotoBaller

Dalton Kincaid Sep 26 4:10pm ET
Dalton Kincaid

With 13 catches, 151 yards, and two touchdowns, Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid has gotten off to a fast start three weeks into the 2025 season. Not only has the third-year man already matched his TD total from each of his first two seasons, but he has led the Bills in targets (12) over the past two weeks. He'll attempt to continue his success in Week 4 against the winless New Orleans Saints. They rank a slightly below-average 14th in fantasy points allowed to opposing TEs this season, though they haven't faced a high-end starter since taking on the Arizona Cardinals' Trey McBride in Week 1. McBride recorded six catches for 61 yards on nine targets in a a season-opening victory. Kincaid probably won't have nine passes thrown his way this week, but thanks to his growing rapport with quarterback Josh Allen, he looks like a top 10 TE heading into Sunday.
