On Tuesday at Senior Bowl practices, New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen said the team is "open to anything" with the No. 3 overall pick in April's NFL Draft. The organization needs a new franchise quarterback after parting ways with Daniel Jones midway through last season, but the 2025 quarterback class is not viewed as a strong group of signal-callers. Colorado's Shedeur Sanders and Miami's Cam Ward are expected to be the first two quarterbacks off the board, but there is a lot of unknown about which draft slots they could be selected in. The Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns are picking ahead of the G-Men, and both of those franchises need a quarterback of the future, too. "We're in a good position sitting at three with the players that are available," Schoen said. "By process of elimination, we know we're going to get a good player. Regardless of what happens the next couple of months, we know there's going to be a really good player there." It feels like New York is likely the most desperate franchise for a new signal caller with Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll firmly on the hot seat, but the team could go "best player available" or trade up or down from the No. 3 slot.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets have requested to interview Washington Commanders assistant David Blough for their vacant quarterback coach position, while the Chicago Bears are seeking to interview him for their pass game coordinator role. Blough, a five-year NFL quarterback, was on the Detroit Lions practice squad in 2023 before joining the coaching ranks in Washington as the assistant quarterbacks coach. After the breakout rookie campaign from Jayden Daniels, it's no surprise he is drawing interest around the NFL for franchises building new staffs. The New York Jets are moving on from offensive line coach Keith Carter under new head coach Aaron Glenn, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Carter coached the Tennessee Titans offensive line under Mike Vrabel from 2018 to 2022 before landing the offensive line coach and run game coordinator roles in 2022 for New York. The Jets ranked 31st in rushing yards per game (91.8) in 2024 despite having talented backs Breece Hall and Braelon Allen.

FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz reports that the New York Jets will interview veteran defensive coach Steve Wilks on Wednesday night for their vacant defensive-coordinator position, according to sources. New head coach Aaron Glenn has already stated that he won't be calling defensive plays in his first year at the helm in 2025, which makes his defensive-coordinator hire an even more important one. Wilks is widely respected around the league for his defensive mind and leadership abilities. He took the 2024 season off in the NFL after he was fired following the San Francisco 49ers' loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in last year's Super Bowl. The 55-year-old veteran has served as a defensive coordinator for the 49ers, Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott said that he fully endorses owner Jerry Jones' decision to hire former offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer as the team's next head coach. "I mean, Shotty means a lot to me. He's been a consistent man, and I think that's a part of why he's gotten this job in his time being here. I got four years left on my contract. He's tied directly to my future, so let's go be the best that we can in these four years," Prescott said. Although the move to hire Schottenheimer, who has never been a head coach in the NFL, wasn't a splashy one, it gives Prescott and the Dallas offense continuity. Schottenheimer didn't call offensive plays the last two years, but he was the offensive coordinator and knows Prescott well. Although Schottenheimer won't necessarily be great for Prescott, it's worth noting that he led the NFL with 36 TD passes in 2023, the first year that Schottenheimer became Dallas' OC.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers interviewed Los Angeles Rams passing-game coordinator/tight ends coach Nick Caley for their offensive-coordinator job on Tuesday night, according to sources. Caley will also interview for the same position with the Houston Texans on Thursday. Tampa is looking for their fourth offensive coordinator in the last four years after Liam Coen left to become the Jacksonville Jaguars' head coach. Caley coached TEs with the New England Patriots for six years before joining Sean McVay's staff in L.A. in 2023. In his first year in New England, Rob Gronkowski earned his fifth Pro Bowl nod in 2017. If the Bucs were to hire him as their new coordinator, it would certainly be good news for TE Cade Otton, who had a career-high 600 receiving yards in 2024. However, it remains to be seen how he'd mesh with quarterback Baker Mayfield, who is also coming off his best season as a pro under Coen.

The Nashville Post's John Glennon writes that it's hard to imagine that Tennessee Titans impending free-agent wide receiver Tyler Boyd will be back in 2025. The Titans believed that Boyd's experience with head coach Brian Callahan from their time with the Cincinnati Bengals would make him a valuable piece of the offense in 2024, but that just didn't come to fruition. The 30-year-old pass-catcher only produced 39 catches for 390 yards and no touchdowns in his 16 games for Tennessee, his lowest totals since 2017, his second year in the league. Boyd was a decent target for quarterbacks Will Levis and Mason Rudolph on third downs, but his lack of production for the Titans this past season will likely lead them to let him walk in free agency this March. In addition to 2024 being a big disappointment, it was also his first season without finding the end zone.

After an impressive rookie season for Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. in 2024, new head coach Liam Coen is confident that the team can run things through Thomas again in 2025. Thomas set rookie franchise marks in catches (87), receiving yards (1,282) and touchdowns (10) to earn Pro Bowl and All-AFC honors. He's also a finalist for Rookie of the Year. Jacksonville relied more on Thomas after injuries to Christian Kirk, Gabe Davis and Evan Engram, and he delivered. Coen was impressed with the work that the 22-year-old did out of the slot. The Jaguars are going to build around quarterback Trevor Lawrence with Coen now the head coach, but Thomas is going to be a primary weapon after finishing third in the NFL in receiving yards in 2024. And with Coen running Jacksonville's offense now, Thomas is going to be drafted as a surefire WR1 in fantasy drafts this fall.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has decided to focus on next year's hiring cycle and will not coach in the NFL in 2025, per sources. McCarthy became available for head-coach openings around the league late this cycle after the Dallas Cowboys decided not to bring him back after a disappointing 2024 campaign in which the team did not make the postseason. However, he's made the playoffs 12 times in 18 seasons and is expected to be a strong head-coaching candidate at this time a year from now. After his contract expired with Dallas on Jan. 14, McCarthy interviewed for head-coach positions with the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears. The Bears hired Ben Johnson, but it's possible that the Saints have already told McCarthy that they plan on hiring someone else, most likely Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

The Baltimore Ravens have hired Chuck Pagano as their senior secondary coach on Tuesday. Pagano joined the Ravens staff in 2008 and was eventually promoted to defensive coordinator in 2011. After that season, Pagano left to be the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts. He spent six seasons there before becoming the defensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears. His journey with the Bears ended in 2020 and Pagano hasn't coached since then. He'll now come out of retirement in order to be on John Harbaugh's coaching staff. The longtime head coach should be able to offer some helpful insight.

Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham (triceps) has a shot at getting back on the field in time for the Super Bowl on Feb. 9. Graham tore his triceps in Week 12, which landed him on the injured reserve and ended his regular season. It now appears that there is an outside chance that Graham is ready to play against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Graham finished the regular season with 20 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and two passes defended in 11 games. The return of the 36-year-old would certainly give this defense a lift, but his chances of playing seem unlikely right now.

The Washington Commanders announced on Tuesday that they signed quarterback Sam Hartman, running back Kazmeir Allen, defensive tackle Viliami Fehoko Jr., guard Julian Good-Jones, tight ends Tyree Jackson and Cole Turner, defensive end Andre Jones Jr., wide receiver Chris Moore and safety Ben Nikkel to Reserve/Futures deals. Hartman went undrafted in 2024 but eventually latched on with the Commanders for training camp. The 25-year-old signal-caller didn't make the 53-man active roster for the start of the regular season but did spend time on the active roster later in the season when backup Marcus Mariota landed on Injured Reserve. However, Hartman never saw action in a regular season game and is still looking to make his NFL debut. With Mariota set to become a free agent in March, the Commanders have opted to bring Hartman back as QB insurance this offseason.

The Buffalo Bills announced on Tuesday that they signed running back Frank Gore Jr., wide receivers Tyrell Shavers, KJ Hamler and Jalen Virgil, cornerbacks Te'Cory Couch and Daequan Hardy, offensive lineman Mike Edwards, offensive tackle Richard Gouraige and defensive tackle Zion Logue to Reserve/Futures Deals. Gore, the son of NFL star RB Frank Gore, went undrafted out of Southern Mississippi in 2024 before latching on with the Bills. The 22-year-old spent most of the year on the practice squad but was active in Week 6 against the New York Jets, although he didn't play a snap. Hamler, a former second-round pick by the Denver Broncos in 2020 out of Penn State, spent all year on Buffalo's practice squad. The 25-year-old is a speedy deep threat but has been limited by injuries. He has 42 receptions for 620 yards and three TDs on 80 targets in his three seasons with Denver.

According to Tashan Reed and Vic Tafur of The Athletic, Miami Dolphins quarterbacks coach Darrell Bevell is believed to be the front-runner for the Las Vegas Raiders' offensive-coordinator job, according to a league source. The Raiders aren't known to have had any interviews or requested any interviews for the offensive-coordinator role, but other coaches will be considered. It's an important role for the Raiders offense moving forward, as new head coach Pete Carroll will not call offensive plays. Carroll's sons Brennan and Nate could also be additions to the offensive coaching staff in 2025. Former Raiders and Seattle Seahawks coach Tom Cable is a candidate to become the offensive-line coach. Greg Olson, who was the Raiders' OC from 2013-14 and again in 2018-21, is another potential offensive assistant to keep an eye on in Vegas.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Detroit Lions have hired Denver Broncos pass-game coordinator John Morton as their new offensive coordinator on Tuesday. Morton recently interviewed for the position and will return to Detroit after working under head coach Dan Campbell several years ago. The 55-year-old will replace Ben Johnson, who took the head-coaching gig with the division-rival Chicago Bears. Morton worked as a senior offensive assistant with the Lions in 2022 before joining the Broncos in 2023. He was also the wide receivers coach for the New Orleans Saints in 2016 when Campbell was the assistant head coach/tight ends coach. Morton was the offensive coordinator for the New York Jets in 2017 and at USC from 2009-10, but he'll have big shoes to fill in his return to Detroit after the departure of Johnson, who elevated the Lions' offense to an elite level the last few years.

Kingsbury's return will ensure continuity for the offense and for quarterback Jayden Daniels after a remarkable rookie season. The former Arizona Cardinals head coach will surely be a top head-coach candidate again next year. The opportunity to continue working with one of the best young QBs in the game was just too hard to pass up. With Kingsbury running the offense in 2024, the Commanders ranked seventh in total offense (369.6 yards per game) and fifth in scoring (28.5 points per game). It's great news for Daniels' stock in 2025.

The Athletic's Ben Standig writes that Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin's agent is expected to seek a new deal for the second-team All-Pro pass-catcher this offseason after recording his fifth straight 1,000-yard receiving season in 2024. In 17 regular-season games, McLaurin had 82 receptions on 117 targets for 1,096 yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns as rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels elevated the entire offense. McLaurin added 14 catches on 23 targets for 227 yards and three touchdowns in the team's three playoff games. Going into the 2025 campaign, McLaurin's seventh in the league, he will be much more expensive in fantasy drafts as a WR1 after Daniels' impressive rookie season. In his six years in the NFL, McLaurin has 38 total touchdowns in 97 regular-season games and is averaging 65.8 yards per game.

Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry said that he has no interest in trading All-Pro pass-rusher Myles Garrett this offseason, even if another team was willing to give the Browns two first-round draft picks in exchange. Berry also said that he'd like Garrett to retire in Cleveland. "I think you can assume that we do anticipate at some point doing a third contract with Myles. We want him to retire here," Berry said. The 29-year-old defensive end became the first player in NFL history to have at least 14 sacks in four straight seasons after recording 14 sacks for the second straight year in 2024 in 17 regular-season games. The six-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro now has 102.5 sacks in his eight years with the Browns and doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon. Despite turning 30 this December, Garrett will be a high-end D line target in IDP fantasy formats this fall.
