Giants WR Malik Nabers set to play in Jaxson Dart's debut

Fri Sep 26 3:23pm ET
Field Level Media

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers will take the field as rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart makes his first NFL start on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers in East Rutherford, N.J.

Nabers did not receive an injury designation from the Giants on Friday after he turned in consecutive limited practices. He is dealing with an ailing shoulder.

Nabers, 22, leads New York in receptions (16), receiving yards (251) and receiving touchdowns (two) in three games this season.

He set an NFL rookie-record with 109 catches last season, which also was a franchise mark for the Giants.

Nabers totaled 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games (13 starts) last season en route to being named to the Pro Bowl.

The Giants selected Nabers with the sixth overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft out of LSU.

While Nabers is good to go, the Giants (0-3) ruled out running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder), defensive lineman Chauncey Golston (ankle) and kicker Graham Gano (groin).

Defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches (foot) is listed as doubtful to face the unbeaten Chargers (3-0).

Starts, Sits, Sleepers: Week 4

Player Notes
David Njoku Sep 26 4:20pm ET
David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) practiced fully on Friday and is listed without an injury designation heading into a Week 4 road matchup against the Detroit Lions. Njoku was limited on Wednesday with a knee issue but was able to practice fully on Thursday and Friday, putting him in line to take the field for the Browns' fourth game of the season. The veteran tight end draws a plus matchup against a Lions defense that is allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends through three games. Njoku is on the board as a low-end TE1/high-end TE2 in Week 4.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt Sep 26 4:20pm ET
Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Washington Commanders rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Atlanta Falcons. The seventh-round pick was unable to practice on Wednesday and Thursday. However, he was able to upgrade to full participation on Friday, which puts him in a good position to suit up over the weekend. Through the first three games of his NFL career, Croskey-Merritt has been able to carve out a prominent role in the backfield. In Week 1, Croskey-Merritt led the team in rushing, totaling 82 yards and a score on 10 carries. While he struggled in Week 2, he was able to find the end zone for the second time during their victory over the Raiders last weekend. If Croskey-Merritt were to miss Sunday's contents, fantasy managers should expect Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Jeremy McNichols to dominate the opportunities.

Cedric Tillman Sep 26 4:20pm ET
Cedric Tillman

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hand, hip) practiced fully on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. The veteran wide receiver should be good to go for his team's Week 4 road matchup against the Detroit Lions. Tillman has caught both of Joe Flacco's touchdown passes this season, totalling 10 catches for 100 yards thus far. The Lions represent a plus matchup for Tillman as they are allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts through three weeks. Tillman is worth a look as a flex option/WR4 in fantasy this weekend.

Jerry Jeudy Sep 26 4:10pm ET
Jerry Jeudy

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is off to a slow start in 2025, catching just 10 of his 21 targets for 134 scoreless yards through three games. He will look to find the end zone for the first time all season in a Week 4 road matchup against the Detroit Lions. Detroit has been generous to opposing wideouts thus far, allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game to the position. That includes big games to Jayden Reed (three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown), Rome Odunze (7-128-2), and Rashod Bateman (5-63-1). Jeudy hasn't been what fantasy gamers were hoping for when they selected him in drafts, but he has a chance to have a nice showing in Week 4, making him a solid flex/WR4 this weekend.

Dalton Kincaid Sep 26 4:10pm ET
Dalton Kincaid

With 13 catches, 151 yards, and two touchdowns, Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid has gotten off to a fast start three weeks into the 2025 season. Not only has the third-year man already matched his TD total from each of his first two seasons, but he has led the Bills in targets (12) over the past two weeks. He'll attempt to continue his success in Week 4 against the winless New Orleans Saints. They rank a slightly below-average 14th in fantasy points allowed to opposing TEs this season, though they haven't faced a high-end starter since taking on the Arizona Cardinals' Trey McBride in Week 1. McBride recorded six catches for 61 yards on nine targets in a a season-opening victory. Kincaid probably won't have nine passes thrown his way this week, but thanks to his growing rapport with quarterback Josh Allen, he looks like a top 10 TE heading into Sunday.

Kalel Mullings Sep 26 4:10pm ET
Kalel Mullings

The Tennessee Titans are placing rookie running back Kalel Mullings (ankle) on Injured Reserve due to an ankle injury, per ESPN's Turron Davenport. Mullings has been active for two games so far in 2025, but has yet to record an NFL carry. He will now be sidelined for at least the Titans' next four games and will be first eligible to return in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts. Tennessee is activating running back Jordan Mims for their Week 4 matchup against the Houston Texans, but veteran back Tony Pollard should be expected to see a heavy workload. The Titans could soon get some backfield help in the form of Tyjae Spears (ankle), who is eligible to return from IR in Week 5.

Isaiah Bond Sep 26 4:10pm ET
Isaiah Bond

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Isaiah Bond is slowly working on carving out a larger role in his team's offense with each passing week. Bond's playing time has gone up each week, going from 28% to 38% to 65% of the Browns' snaps in each of his three games. He has yet to break out for Cleveland, but there are some signs that the team is trying to get the speedy rookie more involved. Bond will head on the road to face off against a leaky Detroit Lions secondary in Week 4. The Lions are allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season. This isn't the week to start Bond, but he's worth monitoring in deeper redraft leagues and should be stashed in all dynasty formats.

Isaiah Likely Sep 26 4:10pm ET
Isaiah Likely

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's title game against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, the young tight end was able to log a full practice during Friday's final session, which is a great sign for his ability. Earlier in the week, Likely logged two straight limited sessions. Fantasy managers should continue to keep a close eye on his status. Likey has been sidelined throughout the first three games of the campaign while recovering from foot surgery. Last season, Likely caught a career-high 42 passes for 477 yards and six touchdowns. However, even if Likely were to turn the corner and make his season debut this weekend, fantasy managers should expect him to continue to operate as the No. 2 tight end behind veteran Mark Andrews, which significantly lowers his fantasy projection.

From RotoBaller

Will Dissly Sep 26 4:00pm ET
Will Dissly

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (knee) has officially been ruled out for his team's Week 4 matchup against the New York Giants. Dissly recorded two catches for 25 yards through the first two weeks of 2025, but this will be his second-straight missed game due to a knee injury. In Dissly's absence, Chargers rookie tight end Orande Gadsden stepped up and hauled in five catches for 46 yards on seven targets in Week 3. Gadsden is tough to trust as a fantasy starter, but he's a name to monitor and could be a shrewd waiver-wire stash in deep leagues ahead of Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Joe Flacco Sep 26 4:00pm ET
Joe Flacco

Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco is off to a slow start in 2025, tossing just two touchdowns and four interceptions across his first three games. The veteran's leash is likely getting shorter with each lackluster showing as the Browns prepare to head on the road to face off against a hot Detroit Lions team in Week 4. Detroit does offer some hope for Flacco as their defense is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. The Lions have been red-hot on offense this season and could jump out to an early lead, which would force the Browns to call Flacco's name often in the passing attack. That being said, his poor play thus far leaves him as a QB3 in fantasy heading into Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Matt Prater Sep 26 4:00pm ET
Matt Prater

After converting all of his attempts in his first two games of the season, Buffalo Bills kicker Matt Prater came back to earth somewhat in a Week 3 win over the Miami Dolphins. Prater badly missed a 39-yard field goal to the left, but he hit a game-sealing 48-yarder late in the fourth quarter and nailed all four extra-point tries. Having already cashed in on seven field goals and nine PATs, the 41-year-old ranks fifth among kickers in fantasy points this season. He'll enter a juicy matchup in Week 4 versus the New Orleans, who have thus far given up the third-most fantasy points to kickers. On the other hand, the Bills are averaging a robust 34 points per game. Their top-tier offense has given Prater plenty of opportunities this year, and that's unlikely to change on Sunday against perhaps the worst team the Bills will face this year.

From RotoBaller

Quentin Johnston Sep 26 4:00pm ET
Quentin Johnston

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston is set for a big Week 4 performance against the New York Giants. The former first-round pick led the team with 89 receiving yards on six catches and 10 targets last week against a tough Denver Broncos secondary. He currently leads the team in receiving yards and is tied with Keenan Allen for most touchdowns (3). The Giants' secondary ranks among the worst in the NFL, especially in allowing big plays, which plays to Johnston's strengths. RotoBaller elevates him to WR34 this week, and he should be viewed as a high-upside FLEX option in most formats.

From RotoBaller

D'Andre Swift Sep 26 3:50pm ET
D'Andre Swift

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (hip) is officially listed as questionable to play in his team's Week 4 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Swift was limited in practice throughout this week due to a hip injury. For what it's worth, the veteran running back logged three limited practices leading into Week 3 with a quad injury, and ended up playing in his team's win over the Dallas Cowboys. Swift has recorded 212 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on 51 total touches so far in 2025. If he were to miss Week 4 or see a limited workload due to the injury, Bears rookie running back Kyle Monangai would likely be the beneficiary. Assuming Swift is good to go on Sunday, he profiles as a solid RB3/flex option against Las Vegas.

From RotoBaller

Keenan Allen Sep 26 3:50pm ET
Keenan Allen

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen once again proved to be quarterback Justin Herbert's most trusted option in the team's 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos, catching seven of 11 targets for 65 yards and a touchdown. The veteran commands a stellar 26.2% target share and a 40% red-zone target share over three games, making him a consistent scoring threat. Facing the 0-3 New York Giants' vulnerable secondary, Allen could be set up for an active day. Though the potential for the Chargers to lean on the run game if the score gets out of hand could slightly cap his volume. RotoBaller raises Allen to WR25 this week. He is a borderline WR2 and a strong start in all formats, especially PPR.

From RotoBaller

Malik Nabers Sep 26 3:40pm ET
Malik Nabers

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (shoulder) was listed as limited in practice on Friday with a shoulder injury, but he does not have an official injury designation going into his team's Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. That means Nabers will be active on Sunday for rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart's first start with the Giants. Nabers has recorded 16 catches for 251 yards and two touchdowns through his first three games of 2025. He profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver in Week 4 against the Chargers.

From RotoBaller

Ladd McConkey Sep 26 3:40pm ET
Ladd McConkey

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey is still getting plenty of opportunities heading into Week 4 against the New York Giants, even though his fantasy numbers haven't reflected that so far. McConkey caught four of seven targets for 41 yards in the team's 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos, including a crucial late-game catch that helped seal the victory. However, his single red-zone target and 9.0 aDOT over three games indicate he is not being used in high-leverage scoring or big-play situations. The Giants' vulnerable secondary allows the fourth-most passing yards, which could lead to more volume for the entire receiving corps. While RotoBaller ranks McConkey as WR15, he has been outperformed by teammates Quentin Johnston and Keenan Allen and should be more of a WR3/FLEX option until his red-zone targets improve.

From RotoBaller

Colston Loveland Sep 26 3:40pm ET
Colston Loveland

Chicago Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland (hip) is officially listed as questionable to play in his team's Week 4 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. A hip injury that he suffered in Week 3 kept Loveland from practicing on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, but he was able to log a limited practice on Friday. Loveland has recorded just three catches for 43 yards on six targets through the first three games of his NFL career, so he should be avoided by fantasy managers in Week 4 even if he's able to suit up. If Loveland is sidelined, veteran Bears tight end Cole Kmet could be a decent streaming option at the position in deep leagues. As long as both Chicago tight ends are sharing the field, neither one can be trusted to provide starting-level fantasy production.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. Sep 26 3:30pm ET
Tyrone Tracy Jr.

New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for his team's Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, per ESPN's Jordan Raanan. Tracy Jr.'s absence is not surprising given that he dislocated his shoulder during the team's Week 3 loss and is expected to miss two to four weeks as a result of the injury. Without him, the Giants should hand a heavy workload to standout rookie running back Cam Skattebo, with veteran back Devin Singletary getting the occasional carry as well.. The Chargers are a difficult matchup, but Skattebo profiles as a low-end fantasy RB2 in Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Omarion Hampton Sep 26 3:30pm ET
Omarion Hampton

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Omarion Hampton is primed for a heavy workload following the season-ending injury to Najee Harris (Achilles). In the team's 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos, Hampton recorded 19 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown, along with six catches for 59 yards, demonstrating his value in both the running and passing game. The 0-3 New York Giants are an ideal matchup, ranking in the bottom third in every defensive category and allowing the second-most rushing yards in the league. Although the absence of guard Mekhi Becton (concussion) could create some vulnerability, Hampton's expected workhorse role and favorable opponent position him for a strong performance. RotoBaller projects Hampton as RB10 this week and considers him a must-start across all formats.

From RotoBaller

Emeka Egbuka Sep 26 3:20pm ET
Emeka Egbuka

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka is off to an impressive start to his NFL career. Last week, Egbuka hauled in six of his eight targets for 85 yards in the win over the New York Jets. He could be asked to take on a heavier workload this weekend with Mike Evans (hamstring) ruled out. The Bucs are still uncertain if Chris Godwin (ankle) is ready to return to action. That being said, Egbuka could be asked to step up and be the primary option in the receiving game. On paper, Egbuka should have success given the Philadelphia Eagles struggles to contain wide receivers. Last week, Puka Nacua burned them for over 100 yards. Egbuka should be able to offer low-end WR1 value for this Week 4 matchup.
