49ers star LB Fred Warner (lower leg) exits vs. Bucs

Sun Oct 12 5:24pm ET
Field Level Media

San Francisco 49ers star linebacker Fred Warner was carted off the field midway through the first quarter of Sunday's road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a potentially serious right lower-leg injury.

Warner was defending a running play when his right leg got caught up from behind by pursuing teammate Ji'Ayir Brown. Warner's right foot appeared to be pointing in the wrong direction before an air cast was placed on the leg by trainers.

Warner, in his eighth season, is the leader of the San Francisco defense. He is a four-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro.

Warner landed the highest deal for an NFL linebacker in the offseason when he signed a three-year, $63 million contract extension with the 49ers.

He had one tackle before exiting against the Bucs. Entering Sunday's game, Warner had 50 tackles and two forced fumbles.

Fred Warner

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner (ankle) exited during the first quarter of Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He appeared to be in significant pain, was carted off the field, and has been ruled out for the remainder of the game. He finishes with just one tackle, bringing his season total to 51. We'll likely know more about his status as the Buccaneers conduct additional testing over the next 24 hours.

AJ Barner Oct 12 5:40pm ET
AJ Barner

Seattle Seahawks tight end AJ Barner continues to put himself on the map in 2025. Barner only earned three targets in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars; however, he caught all three for 71 yards, including a 61-yard reception. Barner has been a difficult player to assess this season. He has accumulated TE1 numbers for the season. However, Barner has earned three or fewer targets in every game but one this season. Most of Barner's fantasy production has been buoyed by his four touchdown receptions in six games. Barner's volume is not prescriptive for sustained fantasy success, but he continues to get the job done more often than not. Still, given his relative lack of volume, fantasy managers should proceed with caution with Barner until his role grows. The Seahawks clearly love Barner as an every-down player and red zone threat, but touchdowns are difficult to bank on each week.

Calvin Ridley Oct 12 5:40pm ET
Calvin Ridley

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley (hamstring) exited during the first half of Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders. He is officially listed as questionable to return. At the time of his departure, he had just one target, which he converted into an 18-yard reception. Ridley had a frustratingly quiet start to the season but was finally coming around, as he caught five passes for 131 yards last weekend. Elic Ayomanor, Tyler Lockett, and Chimere Dike will step up as the Titans' top wide receivers until Ridley is able to return.

David Njoku Oct 12 5:30pm ET
David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) was diagnosed with a knee injury following Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Njoku had originally exited in the second half and was listed as questionable with a thigh injury, but head coach Kevin Stefanski clarified postgame that the tight end had injured his knee. He finished the contest having caught three of his six targets for 28 yards through the air. If Njoku is forced to miss extended time, Harold Fannin Jr. would step up as Cleveland's top tight end.

Sam Darnold Oct 12 5:30pm ET
Sam Darnold

The Seattle Seahawks seem to have unlocked their big-play ability with quarterback Sam Darnold this season. Darnold had two completions of 61 yards in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars en route to 295 passing yards and a pair of touchdown passes. The game marked Darnold's second straight with at least 20 fantasy points. Darnold is emerging as a legitimate weekly option at quarterback with the Seahawks' offense playing at a high level right now. Best of all, Darnold continues to keep the turnovers down. He has only turned the ball over four times this season. Additionally, Darnold is staying upright. He was sacked for just the seventh time on Sunday. At this point, Darnold is no longer a streaming option. He should be rostered in just about every league, even if he is just a solid insurance option for your fantasy team. Darnold faces a tough matchup against Houston in Week 7, but the Seahawks have a relatively quarterback-friendly schedule after their Week 8 bye.

RJ Harvey Oct 12 5:13pm ET
RJ Harvey

Dynasty | Broncos running back JK Dobbins rushed for 40 yards and failed to catch his lone target in a win against the Jets in London. Dynasty Analysis: Everyone has a bad day here and there and that's likely all this is for Dobbins, who joined the rest of a Broncos offense that was stuck in mud most of the day. The good news is RJ Harvey still only had six touches and doesn't look like a player who is much of a threat to his playing time any time soon. Dobbins remains a solid target for dynasty contenders who may want to take advantage of his bad week.

Breece Hall Oct 12 5:13pm ET
Breece Hall

Dynasty | Jets running back Breece Hall had 59 rushing yards and no catches in a loss to the Broncos. Dynasty Analysis: Anyone with Hall was hoping the loss of Braelon Allen would open up some more scoring opportunities for Hall but the Jets offense has been hard to watch. Hall himself is having a down season as he's now gone six straight games to start the season without scoring, despite having a solid yards per carry average. Negative game scripts and defenses keying on him haven't helped. At this point, anyone with Hall needs to hope he gets traded as his dynasty value is going to be massively affected by the trade deadline.

Justin Fields Oct 12 5:13pm ET
Justin Fields

Dynasty | Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson caught three passes for 13 yards in a loss to the Broncos in London. Dynasty Analysis: Wilson has been pretty quarterback-proof throughout his career but even he can't perform on an offense this putrid. He's been able to post some garbage time scores and pad his stats but today was a new low as Justin Fields just couldn't get him the ball. Wilson needs to remain in lineups but his dynasty value is going to start being affected here as the hope people had for him really erupting this year has evaporated.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Justin Fields Oct 12 5:13pm ET
Justin Fields

Dynasty | Jets quarterback Justin Fields completed just 9-of-17 passes for 45 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions in a loss to the Broncos. Dynasty Analysis: The Broncos defense is legitimate but Fields has also regressed throughout the season. In short, he just doesn't look like an NFL quarterback and it seems the Steelers were right when they let go of both Fields and Russell Wilson this off-season. Fields has struggled making simple throws and just can't seem to get into any kind of rhythm. While his rushing ability has helped out (he had 31 yards today), NFL defenses just aren't scared of him at this point. The Jets are 0-6 and need to make some changes. We'll see if Fields is under center again next week as his dynasty value continues to plummet.

RJ Harvey Oct 12 5:13pm ET
RJ Harvey

Dynasty | Broncos running back RJ Harvey had four rushing yards, four catches and 21 receiving yards in a win against the Jets. Dynasty Analysis: JK Dobbins struggled today but it still didn't open the door for Harvey, who simply looks like a player who is going to take a redshirt season. It could create a solid trade window for him but it really looks like a JK Dobbins injury (not something that seems far-fetched) is going to need to happen for him to emerge. He remains a hold or buy low target in dynasty leagues but is nowhere near lineups at the moment.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Oct 12 5:10pm ET
Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver continued his unbelievable 2025 campaign with a 162-yard explosion against the Jaguars in Week 6. Smith-Njigba is positioning himself in such a way that gives him a legitimate shot at finishing as the WR1 overall in fantasy. JSN has developed a quick chemistry with quarterback Sam Darnold. He has scored at least 18.3 PPR fantasy points in every game but one this season. He is already on pace to top his career high of six touchdown receptions as well. Smith-Njigba's production is matchup proof. He seems to be able to find room against zone coverage and beat defensive backs in man coverage with ease. Darnold continues to look for Smith-Njigba in every situation. Houston will provide an interesting test for JSN in Week 7, but he should absolutely remain in every lineup.

Roquan Smith Oct 12 5:00pm ET
Roquan Smith

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that he expects linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) to return for the team's next game in Week 8. The veteran has missed two consecutive weeks and will use next week's bye as one final opportunity to recover before returning to action. Through his first four games this season, he registered 34 tackles, one fumble recovery, and one touchdown. Smith's presence will provide a massive boost to a Ravens defense that has been decimated by injuries in recent weeks.

Anthony Richardson Oct 12 4:40pm ET
Anthony Richardson

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. (eye) suffered an orbital fracture after a pregame incident while working out with an elastic band, head coach Shane Steichen told the media postgame. Steichen did not elaborate on what happened, other than noting that the band "malfunctioned." Richardson was taken to the hospital and will miss extended time. The improbable injury is a tough break for Richardson, a former first-round pick who was cemented as the backup quarterback behind Daniel Jones in Indianapolis. His recovery will likely take several weeks, which will put Riley Leonard in line to serve as Jones' backup for the time being.

Davante Adams Oct 12 4:33pm ET
Davante Adams

Los Angeles Rams WR Davante Adams caught four passes for 39 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. He was targeted nine times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: The Rams passing game did not need to do much to win the game, so Adams finished with a season-low 39 yards. He should be more involved in the offense next week and may see a lot of targets if Puka Nacua is not available. He will be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Puka Nacua Oct 12 4:30pm ET
Puka Nacua

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during the first half of Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Baltimore Ravens. Head coach Sean McVay admitted that he doesn't know at this point whether Nacua will be ready to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars during the teams' Week 7 matchup in London. The star wide receiver was clearly limited by his injury this Sunday, catching just two of three targets for 28 yards. Of course, some of his reduced productivity could be attributed to the game script. Los Angeles had a comfortable lead over Baltimore for most of the game, so there wasn't much urgency or necessity to get Nacua heavily involved if he wasn't 100 percent. Fantasy managers should stay tuned to the Rams' injury reports from Wednesday through Friday to gain more clarity on his status. If he can't play against the Jaguars, Davante Adams would operate as Matthew Stafford's No. 1 target in the passing game.

Tyler Higbee Oct 12 4:23pm ET
Tyler Higbee

Los Angeles Rams TE Tyler Higbee caught four passes for 40 yards and one touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6. He was targeted four times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Higbee has not been a big part of the passing game so far this season but was able to post a season-high 40 yards and picked up his first touchdown of the season. He may see a similar workload next week but probably is still not a No. 1 fantasy tight end at this point.

From TheHuddle

Matthew Stafford Oct 12 4:13pm ET
Matthew Stafford

Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford went 17-for-26 for 181 yards and one touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Stafford has been playing very well this season but was not asked to do much against the Ravens this week. He has thrown at least two touchdowns in four of the last five games but will be facing a good Jacksonville Jaguars defense next week. He can be a possible low-end No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues in Week 7.

From TheHuddle

Dak Prescott Oct 12 4:13pm ET
Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 25-of-34 passes for 261 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers, and he add two runs for minus-1 yard while recovering his own fumble.

Fantasy Spin: Prescott has thrown three or more touchdowns in each of the past three games, developing quite the rapport with George Pickens, especially with CeeDee Lamb sidelined. Prescott can be treated as a low-end QB1 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 7 against the Washington Commanders.

David Njoku Oct 12 4:00pm ET
David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (thigh) exited during the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has been taken to the locker room for further evaluation and is officially questionable to return. At the time of his departure, he had caught three of six targets for 28 receiving yards. Harold Fannin Jr. and Blake Whiteheart will step up as the Browns' top two tight ends until Njoku can return.

Darius Slay Oct 12 3:50pm ET
Darius Slay

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Darius Slay (shoulder) exited during the third quarter of Sunday's Week 6 contest against the Cleveland Browns. He is officially questionable to return. At the time of his departure, he had made four tackles and one pass defended. Brandin Echols originally entered the game in Slay's place, but Echols also suffered an injury and was replaced by James Pierre.
