Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (hamstring) questionable to return vs. Cowboys

Sun Oct 19 6:56pm ET
Field Level Media

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is questionable to return with a right hamstring injury he sustained early in the third quarter Sunday against the host Dallas Cowboys.

On first-and-10 at the Dallas 39, Daniels dropped back and was sacked by Shemar James, fumbling the ball while being pulled down with Dallas recovering. Daniels was slow to get up and limping as he left the field and went to the medical tent with 11:47 remaining in the quarter.

Daniels then went back into the locker room for further evaluation. He missed two games this season after sustaining a knee sprain during the Commanders' Week 2 loss at Green Bay.

Dallas took over at its own 45 and scored to extend its lead to 34-15. Marcus Mariota took over at quarterback on Washington's next possession, throwing an interception which Da'Ron Bland returned for a touchdown to make it 41-15.

Player Notes
Chuba Hubbard Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Chuba Hubbard

Dynasty | Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard returned from injury to post 31 rushing yards, two catches, and 24 receiving yards in a win against the Jets. Dynasty Analysis: More importantly, Hubbard started the game over the red-hot Rico Dowdle. Hubbard didn't do nearly as much as Dowdle but the Panthers seemed content to just rotate their backs on every series. It's a great opportunity for Carolina to keep their runners fresh but this could create a nightmare in fantasy leagues. Hubbard is looking like a flex player at this point.

Tyrod Taylor Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Tyrod Taylor

Dynasty | Jets quarterback Justin Fields completed 6-of-12 passes for 46 yards, while adding 22 rushing yards before being benched in favor of Tyrod Taylor. Dynasty Analysis: Fields had a great opportunity to prove he belongs as a starting quarterback in the NFL this year and has simply failed miserably. Today was much of the same from Fields who simply struggles to throw a football with any kind of accuracy. The Jets are now 0-7 in a lost season and may turn to Tyrod Taylor (who was also awful) in the hopes of simply winning a game. Regardless, it looks like the Jets could be a team with a top-5 draft pick and again looking for that elusive franchise quarterback. As for Fields, his dynasty value is just about sunk.

Breece Hall Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Breece Hall

Dynasty | Jets running back Breece Hall had 38 rushing yards, two catches and 14 receiving yards in a loss to the Panthers. Dynasty Analysis: The Jets are a mess and Hall is in the midst of a simply terrible season as a result. He's gone from a potential RB1 to hardly playable in dynasty leagues at this point. He needs to be traded prior to the deadline to salvage any kind of return this season and the Jets have to be considering it at this point. Hall is likely going to be playing elsewhere next season, so dynasty managers could have a buy low opportunity at the moment.

Matthew Stafford Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Matthew Stafford

Dynasty | Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 21-of-33 passes for 182 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions in a blowout win over Jacksonville. Dynasty Analysis: This was Stafford's first five-touchdown game since 2016 and first ever with the Rams. It inexplicably came with Puka Nacua out for the week but Stafford hit ten different receivers in what can only be described as a masterpiece. His dynasty value really can't go up at any point this year as any season can be his last, but he remains an easy QB1 to start every week.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Davante Adams Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Davante Adams

Dynasty | Rams wide receiver Davante Adams had five catches for 35 yards and three touchdowns in a win against the Jags. Dynasty Analysis: Adams may not have the same kind of separation ability he once possessed but he's still a red zone monster and now has six touchdowns in his first seven games as a Ram. With Puka Nacua on the shelf, Adams was predictably the go-to receiver when it counted and while his target share wasn't anything to write home about (8 on the day), he certainly made the most of what came his way. He'll be a WR2 when Nacua is back after the bye and remains a solid buy candidate for a contending team.

Travis Etienne Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Travis Etienne

Dynasty | Jags running back Travis Etienne had 44 rushing yards, one catch and 11 receiving yards in a loss to the Rams. Dynasty Analysis: That makes three straight games where Etienne has been held under 50 yards. Today was hardly his fault as he only had eight carries with Jacksonville getting run off the field by the Rams. Etienne has become pretty volatile and touchdown dependent as of late and his once quickly rising dynasty value has cooled off considerably.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Trevor Lawrence Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Trevor Lawrence

Dynasty | Jags rookie wide receiver Travis Hunter had eight catches on 14 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Rams. Dynasty Analysis: Hunter posted career highs across the board as it seems as if the Jaguars made a concerted effort to get him the ball this week. Of course, it didn't hurt Hunter's chances when they fell behind early and forced Trevor Lawrence to throw the ball nearly 50 times. This is a good building block for Hunter, whose dynasty value and rookie ranking will rise this week.

Jalen Hurts Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Jalen Hurts

Dynasty | Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 19-of-23 passes for 326 yards, with three touchdowns and no interceptions in a win against Minnesota. Dynasty Analysis: This was the best day Hurts has had this season by a longshot. He finally unleashed deep balls to both AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, who combined for 304 receiving yards. Hurts ended up with -10 rushing yards as the Eagles had him running around burning the last few seconds off the clock but dynasty managers won't complain much. He's solidified himself as an elite QB1 again with today's effort.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Saquon Barkley Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Saquon Barkley

Dynasty | Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had 44 rushing yards, one catch and -2 receiving yards in a win against the Vikings. Dynasty Analysis: Barkley is in the middle of a lost season as he just hasn't been able to break free for a long gain, has been hit way too many times behind the line of scrimmage and has perhaps lost a step at age 28. He still has a long way to go but the idea of benching him in dynasty leagues is starting to become a reality. His ADP and ranking are sinking by the week at this point.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

DeVonta Smith Oct 19 7:13pm ET
DeVonta Smith

Dynasty | Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith had nine catches for a career-best 183 yards and one touchdown in a win against the Vikings. Dynasty Analysis: Finally. The Eagles made every effort to get the ball to Smith and AJ Brown (4/121/2) this week and it paid off handsomely. While his touchdown total of two on the season leaves a bit to be desired, Smith has now posted two 100-yard efforts in the last three weeks. Any chance to buy low on Smith has likely passed.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Patrick Mahomes Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Patrick Mahomes

Dynasty | Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice had seven catches for 42 yards and two touchdowns in a win against the Raiders. Dynasty Analysis: This was Rice's first game back after missing 22 contests with a torn ACL and serving a suspension. It was clearly a monster return for Rice, who looks the part of a WR1 moving forward yet again. While Patrick Mahomes seems content spreading the ball around, it's hard to look at Rice and think he's not the #1 option in the passing game moving forward. Savvy dynasty managers bought on Rice a long time ago and those who didn't are likely kicking themselves.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Geno Smith Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Geno Smith

Dynasty | Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty had 21 rushing yards, one catch and 13 receiving yards in a loss to the Chiefs. Dynasty Analysis: The Raiders had 95 net yards on offense on the day. Ninety. Five. This was hardly Jeanty's fault as he only had seven touches on the day. The Raiders are consistently finding themselves in negative game scripts and it's been a mess all season. With Geno Smith completely ineffective, defenses are teeing off on Jeanty and the Raiders haven't been able to counter. This is quickly looking like a bit of a lost season for Jeanty, who needs an infusion of talent and perhaps a different scheme to truly break out. His ranking is slipping a little but most realize some of this isn't his fault.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Drake Maye Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Drake Maye

Dynasty | Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 21-of-23 passes for 222 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in a win against the Titans. Dynasty Analysis: His completion percentage of 91% set a new franchise record for the Patriots. Oh, and they once had a guy named Tom Brady throwing the ball. It's been a simply meteoric rise for Maye, who has 12 touchdowns and just two interceptions on the season. He has been simply fantastic for the Patriots, who are 5-2 and looking like one of the best teams in the NFL. Maye is quickly reaching lineup lock status as a QB1 and his dynasty value is rising by the week.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

TreVeyon Henderson Oct 19 7:13pm ET
TreVeyon Henderson

Dynasty | Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson had five rushing yards in a win over the Titans. Dynasty Analysis: Meanwhile, Rhamondre Stevenson had 88 rushing yards and a touchdown on 20 touches. It's a stunning turn of events as Stevenson has apparently worked through his fumbling woes to take a stranglehold on the backfield. Henderson looks like a player taking a redshirt year as he has been a complete afterthought all season. His rookie ranking and ADP will take a sizeable hit this week.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Cam Ward Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Cam Ward

Dynasty | Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward completed 25-of-34 passes for 255 yards with one touchdown and one interception in a loss to the Patriots. Dynasty Analysis: The game line looks better than Ward's performance as he also lost a bad fumble and did most of his damage in garbage time. The coaching change hasn't helped Ward at all and while it may take a week or two, he looks like a young quarterback who could be ruined before ever really having a chance. Anyone who spent a lot of their draft capital on Ward this off-season is getting a little nervous as he has looked like anything but a franchise quarterback thus far.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Tua Tagovailoa Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Tua Tagovailoa

Dynasty | Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa completed 12-of-23 passes for 100 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions in a blowout loss to the Browns. Dynasty Analysis: The Dolphins are 1-6, they've lost Tyreek Hill for the year, Jaylen Waddle wasn't used (one catch for 15 yards) and Tua himself made critical mistakes all day. Other than that, things are great. Tagovailoa has been a quarterback who has been very effective when healthy with the only real concerns about him being his history of concussions. After the start of this season, you can add real ineffectiveness to the list this year as he simply hasn't played well. His dynasty value is sinking and he's really only an option in deep Superflex leagues at the moment.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Quinshon Judkins Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Quinshon Judkins

Dynasty | Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins had 84 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a win against the Dolphins. Dynasty Analysis: Judkins ripped off a 46-yard touchdown early and his yardage total was held relatively in check other than that play. Still, he was able to punch in three scores and has become a bellcow running back since making his debut this year. Judkins is a clear RB1 at the moment and is climbing up the rookie rankings chart with each passing week. He's looking like a top-5 rookie at worst.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Spencer Rattler Oct 19 7:13pm ET
Spencer Rattler

Dynasty | Saints wide receiver Chris Olave had five catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to the Bears. Dynasty Analysis: The Saints haven't played well but you can hardly blame Olave, who is vying for Comeback Player of the Year honors. Spencer Rattler is limiting the offense but Olave has found a way to post a 44/440/3 line through seven weeks. While his ceiling is limited, Olave is finding a way to post high floors every week. His ADP is rising, despite his injury risk.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

D'Andre Swift Oct 19 7:13pm ET
D'Andre Swift

Dynasty | Bears running back Kyle Monangai had 81 rushing yards, two catches, 13 receiving yards and a touchdown in a win against the Saints. Dynasty Analysis: While one might look at the box score and figure Monangai posted these numbers in garbage time, it really wasn't the case. He was strong all day and created a solid "1B" to the "1A" of D'Andre Swift. Monangai is undoubtedly owned in your dynasty league but it's certainly worth checking as he's a player clearly on the rise.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Darnell Mooney Oct 19 7:10pm ET
Darnell Mooney

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney (hamstring) is officially active for Sunday night's contest against the San Francisco 49ers. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction ahead of kickoff. Indeed, Mooney will suit up for his first game since Week 4. The 27-year-old has appeared in just three games during an injury-riddled 2025 campaign, catching seven passes for 79 yards. Mooney came up just shy of 1,000 yards last season, and there was plenty of optimism about his upside this year following a full offseason with Michael Penix Jr. as his starter. However, injuries have ruined that optimism, and it would now take a miracle for Mooney to come close to 1,000 yards again. He does still have WR3/flex upside, but it'll be tough for managers to justify starting him until he can produce consistently.
