It will be a much-needed addition to Dallas' secondary after DaRon Bland injured his foot in the Thanksgiving Day win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday. The veteran had his 21-day practice window opened earlier this week, suggesting that he's close to a return. Per McDaniel, he's optimistic about Waller's status for Week 13's game against the visiting Saints, though it's "all dependent on today's [Friday] practice." Barring any setbacks, it appears that the 33-year-old is trending toward being available. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder) was seen practicing on Friday, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. Mayfield is dealing with a low-grade AC joint sprain to his left (non-throwing) shoulder. He did not practice on Wednesday but upgraded to a limited practice on Thursday. The 30-year-old will likely be listed as questionable for Week 13 against the visiting Arizona Cardinals if he's limited again on Friday, and his status for Sunday's contest could be a game-time decision. It makes Mayfield a pretty risky starting QB option in fantasy football this weekend, even in a good matchup. If Mayfield is not cleared to play against the Cardinals, veteran Teddy Bridgewater would make his first start of the 2025 season. The Washington Commanders released wide receiver Robbie Chosen on Friday, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post. The Commanders added Chosen to their practice squad in mid-November due to injuries to Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Treylon Burks (finger). McLaurin is set to return in Week 13 to face the Denver Broncos on Sunday night, though, and Noah Brown (groin, knee) could also be back from Injured Reserve this weekend, so the Commanders don't have the need for Chosen as WR depth anymore. The 32-year-old veteran appeared in only three games with Washington and caught five of his nine targets for 53 yards and no touchdowns. According to head coach Jonathan Gannon, Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson (knee) will miss Sunday's outing with the hosting Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Florida State alum returned to practice last week and worked in a limited capacity as he battles back from a lengthy absence due to a knee injury. Benson would start this week the same; however, he'd be downgraded to a DNP on Thursday, and will now miss his eighth consecutive contest. For what it's worth, Gannon noted that the 23-year-old won't be shut down long-term. With Emari Demercado (ankle) and Bam Knight (knee) also dealing with their own respective injuries, it could be Michael Carter and Jermar Jefferson manning the backfield against the Buccaneers. Jefferson has been active just once for the team and has yet to receive a touch in 2025.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch could be in for a downtick in production this Sunday if teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) returns to action. Dortch has been solid over Arizona's previous two contests, racking up six catches and a touchdown in each, with Harrison Jr. sidelined due to an appendectomy. For as serviceable as the former's been, his workload is set to taper off significantly upon Harrison Jr.'s return. Despite Arizona airing it out at a pace of 50 pass attempts per game over their last three, the presence of an emerging Michael Wilson and superstar tight end Trey McBride will make it too tricky for quarterback Jacoby Brissett to support four fantasy-worthy options. If Harrison Jr. sits another week, Dortch would be a nice PPR play against the hosting Buccaneers.

After being a healthy scratch for the team's previous two contests, it's fair for fantasy managers to wonder if the Buffalo Bills have soured on wide receiver Keon Coleman. Coleman began the season with a bang, sporting an 8/112/1 line after the campaign's first week. Since then, though, he'd eclipsed three catches and 45 yards in a game just once, and has yet to suit up since being late for a team meeting ahead of their Week 11 win over the Buccaneers. Per head coach Sean McDermott, the 22-year-old's benching the following week was not disciplinary. Either way, it's tough for owners to trust Coleman, as his lack of consistent production makes him too volatile a fantasy asset. He can be dropped in shallow formats if he was not already.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Tom Kennedy played an unlikely role in his team's offense in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers, hauling in four catches for 36 yards on four targets. The 29-year-old has spent most of the 2025 season on the Lions' practice squad, but he was signed to the active roster heading into Week 13 with wide receiver Kalif Raymond (ankle) sidelined by an ankle injury. Raymond's return timeline is unclear, and the Lions also lost wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) to injury in Week 13. That could force Kennedy into a meaningful role in Detroit alongside wide receivers Jameson Williams and Isaac TeSlaa, at least in the short term. Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery broke his three-game touchdown-less streak in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers, recording 48 scrimmage yards and a score on 10 touches. While finding the end zone is obviously a positive for Montgomery, his overall workload trends continue to be worrying for fantasy managers. The 28-year-old has now played 39% or fewer of his team's offensive snaps in four out of Detroit's last five games. If there's one positive for Montgomery going forward, the Lions will be getting former All-Pro center Frank Ragnow back from retirement in the coming weeks, which should greatly improve the struggling interior of their offensive line. Still, Montgomery appears entirely dependent on touchdowns for fantasy production, which will be difficult to predict every week. He faces a rapidly improving Dallas Cowboys defense in Week 14.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby won't be worthy of a fantasy start in Week 13's meeting with the visiting Chicago Bears. The third-year pro was traded to Philadelphia at the beginning of the season to play second fiddle in the team's backfield behind teammate Saquon Barkley. However, since taking over the job from A.J. Dillon, Bigsby has racked up just 18 carries and 164 yards for Philadelphia -- all of which have come since Week 8. As it stands, fantasy managers can safely avoid the Auburn product in all leagues sans deep dynasty formats, as the path to him finding fantasy relevance outside of an injury to the player ahead of him on the depth chart is narrow.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs did not have his most efficient day in his team's 31-24 Week 13 loss to the Green Bay Packers, recording 86 scrimmage yards and failing to find the end zone on 23 touches. However, Gibbs has now averaged 24.5 touches per game over the last two weeks. With Detroit likely to be without both wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) and tight end Sam LaPorta (back) for Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys and possibly longer, the Lions seem likely to continue force-feeding Gibbs the ball. Across 12 games this season, the 23-year-old has recorded 1,416 scrimmage yards and 13 touchdowns on 226 touches and now profiles as by far the most reliable weapon on his team's offense. As long as Gibbs can stay healthy, he profiles as a must-start fantasy running back.

Minnesota Vikings running back Jordan Mason has provided solid production at times throughout the 2025 season, recording 531 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 116 carries across 11 games. However, since fellow Vikings back Aaron Jones Sr. returned from the hamstring injury that forced him to miss Weeks 3-7 in Week 8, Mason has seen his playing time decline sharply. Over Minnesota's last three games in particular, Mason has failed to play more than 27% of the Vikings' offensive snaps in any game. He's recorded just 18 carries and one reception (one target) over those three weeks as well. With Jones Sr. emerging as the team's feature back and the Vikings' offense struggling amidst uncertainty at the quarterback position, Mason's production figures to continue trending downwards. He should be avoided by fantasy managers in a difficult Week 14 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

Once star Detroit Lions wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) went down with an ankle injury in the first quarter of Detroit's Week 13 matchup against the Green Bay Packers, Lions quarterback Jared Goff looked like he might be heading towards a disastrous day. However, the 31-year-old bounced back nicely in a tough matchup, completing 20 of 26 pass attempts for 256 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions. With the Lions offense down multiple starters on the offensive line and now without its top two pass-catchers in St. Brown and tight end Sam LaPorta (back), Goff will have to shoulder more of the playmaking workload in Detroit. Goff has typically struggled in that role throughout his career, but his performance against Green Bay could be considered a positive sign that he can keep the Lions' offense afloat through its injury woes. In Week 14, Goff will face a Dallas Cowboys defense that looks much more formidable after its trade deadline additions.

The ankle injury that forced Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) to exit his team's Thanksgiving Day loss to the Green Bay Packers in the first quarter is not expected to land him on Injured Reserve, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Pelissero reports that St. Brown "likely will be week-to-week" going forward. While it sounds like the 26-year-old will return this season, he appears unlikely to play in Detroit's crucial Week 14 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys next Thursday night. St. Brown entered Week 13 with 75 receptions for 884 yards and nine touchdowns on 107 targets, so his absence is a massive blow for both the Lions and fantasy managers alike. With St. Brown sidelined in Week 13, Detroit wideout Jameson Williams recorded seven catches for 144 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets. Rookie wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa recorded a touchdown catch as well, and longtime Lions' practice squad wideout Tom Kennedy hauled in his first four catches of the season. With tight end Sam LaPorta (back) on Injured Reserve, and tight end Brock Wright (neck) and wide receiver Kalif Raymond both questionable for Week 14 after being out against Green Bay, there's ample opportunity for pass-catchers to step up in Detroit behind Williams.

Once New York Jets running back Braelon Allen (knee) landed on Injured Reserve after suffering an MCL sprain in Week 4, fellow Jets back Isaiah Davis stepped into the RB2 role in New York behind Breece Hall. However, despite the increased opportunity, Davis has failed to steal much work away from Hall. Across seven games since Allen went down, Davis has recorded 204 scrimmage yards on 33 touches. His 4.7 touches per game over that stretch pales in comparison to Hall, who has averaged 18.7 touches per contest. Even with Allen's status for the remainder of 2025 unclear, Davis appears unlikely to provide fantasy-relevant production as long as Hall stays healthy. Davis should remain off the radar of fantasy managers heading into the Jets' Week 14 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Across seven games since Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (shoulder, foot) went down with shoulder and foot injuries, Bucs running back Rachaad White has averaged 16 touches and 60 scrimmage yards per game. However, White has lost out on backfield snaps to fellow Tampa Bay running back Sean Tucker in recent weeks. Over his last two games, White has recorded just 20 touches, compared to 34 for Tucker. With Irving practicing this week and possibly slated to return to the field in Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals, White's opportunity for production may be about to fall off a cliff. At best, he seems likely to be part of a three-way backfield committee in Tampa Bay. If Irving does indeed return, White should be avoided by fantasy managers in Week 13 against Arizona.

Across 11 games this season, Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten has recorded 316 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns on 75 total touches. The 23-year-old has spent the majority of the season playing the RB2 role in Jacksonville behind veteran back Travis Etienne Jr. Two weeks ago, Tuten recorded 15 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers, looking like a real threat to Etienne Jr. However, Tuten was forced to leave the game against the Chargers with an ankle injury. In Week 12, Etienne Jr. dominated the backfield workload and put up huge numbers against the Arizona Cardinals. Heading into the team's Week 13 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, there's little reason for fantasy managers to expect the Jaguars to go away from Etienne Jr. Tuten profiles as a low-end flex option at best in Week 13.
