Keeper Rules: 5 keepers can only be kept for 3 consecutive years in our pool regardless if they are traded before they are put back in the draft and 3 keepers will be designated as a franchise tag, can be anyone and can be kept as long as you want. However a franchise tag player cannot be a keeper the following year so if you switch franchise players the old franchise player goes back into the draft.
You can not draft a player you left unprotected from your current roster as of end of the previous season with your first pick only and this only applies to first round picks. If you have a second pick in the first round from another team you can draft an unprotected player from your current roster. Anything goes in the 2nd round and future rounds. This just prevents teams from double dipping.
Playoffs: 6 teams will make the playoffs. The two division winners will get a bye on Week 14 and the next 4 best teams will face each other.
Trading draft picks: you can only trade your 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks. You can not trade any 4th round draft pick or higher.
There will be a consolation playoff bracket. It will determine who gets the first 6 picks of the following draft. The winner of the consolation playoff will get the first pick overall in the following season. Runner up will get 2nd pick overall and so forth. This will hopefully keep everyone playing until the end and keep integrity in all the games played given it is a head to head pool.
Any player dropped off a team will automatically have his contract status reset with the exception of franchise players so think twice before dropping some one off your team.
For the playoffs, if you drop someone, you will not be allowed to pick that same player up in the waiver draft. The order of the waiver draft does not change when the playoffs start.
