Congratulations to the Inspector Clissos for winning the toilet bowl in impressive fashion 49-14 over the Holy Hand Grenades. I am sure Dion has been celebrating that win with a victory dance all morning (do we even need to do a toilet bowl anymore? We could do away with it as far as I am concerned, but I don't want to break tradition).

Condolences to the Maq Daddies for a tough last weekend in the Pickem contest, but I only feel half bad. Thanks to Detroit winning the final game, I was able to gain four spots on the Daddies and win Pickem by one game over  the Daddies, and the $50 prize that goes with it.

So here's the financial breakdown for the season. There was a $600 total prize pot, with $500 going to the main league and $50 each for Survivor and Pickem.

League champion: Plow Kings, 50 percent of league pot, $250

Second place: Pink Floyds, 25 percent, $125

Third place: Trojan Roosters, 15 percent, $75

Scoring champion: Trojan Roosters, 10 percent, $50

Survivor champion: Pink Floyds, $50

Pickem' champion: Trojan Roosters, $50

Winnings will be going out soon, still figuring out how this league allocation works. That's a wrap on the 2024 season. Thanks everyone for playing and will look forward to the 2025 season in August.

Thanks Karl, fixed now.

Not that it matters but the Clissos and Grenades aren’t paired in the scores for the Toilet Bowl 🤪

Congrats to the Plow Kings! Now if I can only hang on for that Pickem’ money…

Thanks Dale, thanks Floyd’s. Can’t say I had much confidence going in to tonight. Floyd’s have a hell of a team and made a great run. Dale, what you did to the points title is impressive. GM of the year. You’re on the clock: Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson as the 1-1 next year? Or go old school and take Barkley? I bet you go Burrow.

Congrats on the win Frank !!!

Well, it came down to the fourth quarter, but the Plow Kings completed a Monday night comeback and win the 2024 league championship. Congrats Frank! That's the second championship in three years and fifth in the last 22 years for the Plow Kings. Pretty impressive.

The Pink Floyds take second, and are denied a back-to-back championship. The Roosters rebound from last week's disappointment to take third place with a win over the Boozers to go along with the scoring title.

There's still $50 on the line for the Pickem' title with the Daddies holding a one-game three-game lead going into the final week.

And, we can't forget about the upcoming Toilet Bowl. It will be the Clissos against the Hand Grenades.

Black & Gold Boozers Wed Dec 25 8:41am CT
Considering the Boozers 1st round pick didn't score a point this year he had a good year. So close to a rematch of last years championship game. Hopefully the Steelers give me a Christmas present with a big win. Merry Christmas everyone

The Plow Kings and Pink Floyds advance to the championship game this week while the Roosters and Boozers will play for third place. Here's a closer look at the five teams who have a shot at prize money.

Plow Kings: The Kings were the No. 2 seed entering the playoffs with a 12-2 record and snuck by with a 1-point win in the semifinals. Led by MVP candidate Lamar Jackson, the Kings are the league's No. 3 scoring team. They will be seeking their second championship in three years, having won in 2023 and finishing fourth last year. The Kings will be seeking their fifth championship since 2002 when we switched to this site (I don't have the records before that, unfortunately).

Pink Floyds: The Floyds are seeking to become the first back-to-back champion since the Inspector Clissos did it in the 2008 and 2009 seasons. They are seeking their third championship since joining the league in 2018. The Floyds, though, barely squeaked into the playoffs this year, earning the final spot on the last week by gaining a tie with the Clissos, and winning the tiebreaker to finish 6-8 on the season. But RBs Jonathan Taylor and James Cook have gotten hot at the right time, carrying the Floyds back to the title game. They are now 4th in total points.

Roosters -- Led by MVP candidate Josh Allen, the No. 1 seed enjoyed a fantastic regular season with a 12-2 record and enjoying a points lead of almost 200 points over anyone else, but cooled off at the wrong time in the semifinals. The Roosters, though, have the scoring title wrapped up and the No. 1 pick in next year's draft with it. They are seeking to finish in the money for the first time since taking third in 2022 and 2020. If they score at least 24 points in the third place game, they will be the highest scoring team in the league in the last 17 years, but will likely fall short of the record Nickell Buffaloes team in 2007, which is the only team to score over 1,000 points in a season (going back to 2002).

The Boozers -- Missed by just one point of returning to the championship game after finishing second last year. The Boozers are sixth in the league in scoring, but entered the playoffs as the No. 3 seed after being one of only three teams to finish the regular season with an above .500 record.

Maq Daddies -- The Daddies hold a three-game lead over the Roosters and five over the Plow Kings with two weeks to go in the Pickem contest. The Daddies are seeking their first ever Pickem title, and the $50 prize that goes with it.
