A crazy week in the playoffs last week and a shakeup in the standings. Was a big week for Big Czech who won their playoff game and also moved into first place in the standings. The Czech control their destiny now. Win out and they can sweep the overall championship and playoff title both.

Meanwhile, the former first place OG Cardinals got shutout 50-0 in the playoffs. Yes, a few shutouts have happened over the 45-year history, but I don't think ever in the playoffs before. Despite the loss, the Cardinals are still in good shape in the overall standings, tied with the Czeck but behind them in points. They can still win the season's championship by winning out, and Czeck losing once.

The cinderella this year is the defending champion Winged Warriors, who at 5-10 are out of the overall picture but moving on to the semifinals in the playoffs. The Bucking Broncos also won their second playoff game in a row and are the leading scorer in the league. They could still have a shot at first place if they win out and they get a lot of help. The Madd Dogs, who were the dominant team the first half of the season, are back in the thick of it with a playoff win. They face the Broncos in what will be an elimination game in the playoffs, and likely for a money spot in the season standings. Six teams are within a game-and-a-half of first in the overall standings with two weeks to go, so this week will likely knock out a few contenders and elevate some others.

The Broncos and Winged Warriors advanced in the first-round of the playoffs and earned a spot In the eight-team bracket this week. The Hurricanes and Weemsters are eliminated. Meanwhile we have a new leader atop the standings with the OG Cardinals at 10-4 and three teams just a game back. Huge week coming up!

Good catch Steve. Not sure how it got screwed up so bad, but fixed now.

Not sure the scoreboard has the correct matchups for this week.

The season has reached the crossroads. It's Week 14 -- the time to test our mettle. Every team is still alive, even those buried in the dredges of the standings still have hope. But we've reached the breaking point for some, maybe a turning point for others. There's just four weeks left in the season and it's time to separate the wheat from the chaff.

The first round of the playoffs begin this week and the field is set. The Bucking Broncos play the Hurricanes and the Weemsters take on the Wichita Winged Warriors, our defending champion. The two winners will advance to the 8-team bracket the following week while the losers say good night and good luck.

The outcomes are just as important for teams with a first-round bye. The championship crown is up for grabs. There are six contenders within two games of the lead, and don't count out the Bucking Broncos, who are seventh 2.5 back, but have arguably the best team so far this year as evidenced by the most points scored. A points advantage will rule any tiebreakers, and that's good news also for Big Czeck, who sit a few points back of the Broncos but ahead of all others. Everything to this point has just been setting the stage. Cue the music. Now, let the games begin! (loud applause).

Congrats once again to the Weemsters! For the second year in a row, and third time in the last four years, the Weemsters are the sole survivor. All three remaining contestants had different picks, and while the OG Cardinals and Broncos were knocked out in upset losses, the Weemsters got it right with Detroit. The Weemsters win $50.

Trojan Roosters Tue Nov 4 8:55am ET

All three Survivors -- Broncos, Weemsters and Cardinals -- still win this week behind the Rams, and are still alive heading to week 10.

Trojan Roosters Tue Oct 21 11:45am ET

Still three teams left in the Survivor pool -- Broncos, Cardinals and Weemsters.
