My rule suggestions to vote on for next year:
1) Anyone dropped after the regular season can't be picked up
2) Get rid of Negative Kicker Points
3) Change the Kicker position from a Person to an NFL Team.  That way, you get points for whoever kicks for that team.

Gus Edwards is not who I'm talking about.  I have a pretty good player I'd like to drop because I won't be keeping him and pick up a possible keeper ... but don't want to impact the playoffs by allowing someone to pick him up.

Slyme,

There is no such thing as a protected list.  However, your post indicates that you are not colluding with anyone.  So, you are good with the drop of Gus Edwards for Pinex.  I understand that you are picking him up as a potential keeper if he becomes Atlanta's franchise Quarterback.  It will be interesting to see how he plays this week for Kirk Cousins.

Drop him and tell monkey commish to put them on the protected list

I’d like to drop a player who would probably be picked up by someone still in the playoffs.

I don't want to impact the playoffs ... do we have a week (like the final week of the regular season) where players that are dropped cannot be picked up by anyone?

If I don't hear back, I guess I'll just drop him.

3 division champs + 3 highest scorers?

Perhaps we could step out of the fantasy stone age and adjust the rules to make room in the playoffs for a couple teams based on total points instead of it all being based on records.

Just want to point out, Hanuman is the 5th highest scoring team and had the most points scored against during the regular season. No wonder they did not make the playoffs. Will have to get that point total up next year.
