SAMPSON AT 3.?. FUH GET ABOUT IT!

The theme for this season was to keep the crew together for a repeat.  In doing so, I had to ACE my ACES.  Unfortunately, Tyreek is not cooperating but hopefully he will get his head straight.  I did fix some loose ends tagging Allgeier and keeping him.  The hope is he gets out of Atlanta and gets his own gig.  Waiting for the relic to retire, in the hopes that TE Gray gets a shot at starting, that's instant TE 1.  Bates & LeFleur will anchor the special teams aspect.  I'm glad I got those two.  I didn't realize the extent of Watson's injury, but we'll stash him on the PUP and he can contribute next season. Hopefully.

As for the draft.  My only picks were at 3.12 & 4.4.  The price I've paid for having a title team, and I'll take it, but all wiseguys want in on the action, and this was a deep draft.  The Smugglers dangled the 3.1 and the 4.3 in return for a 2nd rounder next year.  It was an offer I couldn't, and didn't refuse.  With the shortened draft rounds, the 2nd draft pick kick is like gold now.  RB Samspon was my first pick at 3.1.  HE is the reason why I took that trade.  There were, in my opinion, some reaches early on which dropped him down to me.  I was worried the filthy Gas City would get him.  He always seems to target the guys I want on my crew.  With Judkins on ice, and the insane production he had as a Volunteer, I mos def wanted this guy, as he could be a contributor this season.  BUT, there was also a highly touted tight end there also.  I do have my top soldier Trey, unfortunately he is on his last year.  Mason Taylor was also there at 3.1.  Any other team than the Jets, I was seriously pulling the trigger.  But the other sub-bosses sensed that I wanted him, so thanks fellas for letting him drop to me at 3.12.  You guys were smart not to risk a WAR with the league Capo!  My other two picks were of need with receiver.  Elic is a beast and will shine with Cam, and damn, falling into the 4th is Noel.  He'll be the 3rd option, but if the Texans get back their offensive swag, he'll contribute.

As for the draft.  There were reaches and it did not go chalk in the first.  Sub-boss of the Dons picking a Packer, representing Detroit, what?  Then to see Egbuka going to that two bit Vendetta was infuriating, but let the kids table eat I guess.

Looking forward to going to War with all 11 of you.  Bring all you got!  You'll need it . . .
