Week 3 of the playoffs brings us to the Conference Round.  This week will determine which teams will represent their conference, as a semifinalist for the league championship.  It also allows them to take claim as the best team in the conference, and draft?  The Toilet Bowl winner will also be determined this week.  Let’s see the matchups. 

Playoffs 

The Official’s Timeout (7-7) vs. NY KILLERS (8-6) 

These two are battling for the Kornheiser Conference.  They had the 5^th and 3^rd best records and were the 3^rd and 2^nd best scorers in the conference, respectively.  The Official’s Timeout went 2-1 in non-division conference games, while the NY KILLERS only played their division opponents, lacking that cross-division play experience. 

Gotham City Enforcers (7-5-1) vs. Dart Dynasty (8-5)

These two are the only division winners to survive their opening game last week and are battling for the Wibon Conference.  They had the 2^nd and best records and were the 3^rd and 2^nd best scorers in the conference, respectively.  They both have losing records against non-division conference opponents, with the Enforcers going 0-1 and Dart Dynasty 0-2. 

Mudd Butt (8-6) vs. 2TRILL Chevy Rider (9-5)

Battling for the Jaworski Conference, they had the 6^th and 5^th best records and were the 5^th and 4^th best scorers in the conference, respectively.  Both teams only played their division opponents and did not test the waters on the other side. 

West Point Green Waves (9-5) vs. Jones Boys (9-5)

These two are battling for the Reali Conference.  They had the 3^rd and 4^th best records and were the 5^th and best scorers in the conference, respectively.  The Green Waves went 0-2 in non-division conference games while Jones Boys went 1-1, with the victory coming against the Green Waves.  We’ll see if Jones Boys still have their number or if the Green Waves will get their revenge. 

Toilet Bowl 

Unbeatable By You (7-7) vs. Whodat Homeboys (3-11)

This matchup is to determine the Toilet Bowl winner, and it is a tale of two spectrums!  Unbeatable By You just missed the playoffs by getting beat by The Official’s Timeout in the last week of the regular season.  Whodat Homeboys have been losing all season but decided to go on a two-game winning streak to try to salvage it. 

Only one conference matchup consists of its best teams.  The other three have teams from various ranges in key conference rankings.  This show the front runners are not always the ones that last.  These should be some great matchups!
