Brittany's trade isn't for a Cowboy player

We sit on the eve of the draft and BIG news has already dropped.  In an unprecedented move, Brittany and her Phyllis Farm Cats shake things up by trading away her number one overall pick to the JH Express for his keeper pick of Justin Jefferson.  This trade reunites Brittany with her top player from a few years ago.  She had to lose him when the league decided to clear all keeper picks off all rosters and go to the new format of keeping keepers by round.  Brittany along with a few others were against the move at the time, but two years later Jefferson is a Farm Cat again. For the Express, the Commish gains the number one pick, but top level talent is off the board already with keepers.  Cee Dee Lamb and Ashton Gentry are the top players available right now for the Express, but neither rank as high as Jefferson.  The Express also get the Farm Cats 5th round pick and Farm Cats get the Express's 6th round pick.  This will not count towards the add/drops either as the trade was made before Week 2. Trades rarely happen before or during the draft as a trade can't be made until keepers are announced. The live draft is tomorrow, where it is anticipated to be a record live turnout of up to 14 league members which would be the biggest turnout in 7 years.

In a second late night trade, Spankyz sent Amon St. Brown whom hes had for several years to the Cheeseheads for the 2nd overall pick in the draft.  This means, the Farm Cats and Cheeseheads who owned the top 2 picks, has switched to the JH Express and Spankyz owning the top 2 picks.  Janke could be eyeing Lamb or Gentry as well, but there are a few other running backs like Chase Brown and Derrick Henry that Janke wouldn't have had access to for quite a few picks and perhaps that is why he pulled the trigger.  We will find out tomorrow!

We will update league fees as well, as some had some money left over from last year.  So far only have Janke paid this year.  Fees went up to $100, but the two side pool of Survivor and Pick'ems remain at $10.  See everyone tomorrow morning!!! Excited for the big day!
