Its an exciting time for our league as we have two first time teams in the championship. The Cheeseheads secured their spot, with what looked like an easy time, but Brock Purdy made a late push for 85 Bears with 5 touchdown passes on a Monday night to keep Kelly watching the game and make Tori sweat it out, but it wasnt enough as Tori punched her ticket to the championship with a 117-104 win knocking out the defending champion 85 Bears. She will be joined in the championship by another first time team making the finals with the Fish Ticklers.  Jared Wilson also had a nice lead, see evaporate by a late comeback by Jared Goff and Jameson Williams.  Lions got down to the 5 yard line on their last possession needing a touchdown on Sunday night.  A Goff to Williams touchdown pass would have put the JH Express in the finals, but it was not to be at Lions were held out of the endzone, and Jared Wilson advanced with a 135-124 win. Of course what will be second guessed is first round draft pick Ashton Jeanty on the bench for the Express who exploded for 38 points.

So for the first time since 2022 we had 2 teams in the championship with neither of them making it before.  In '22 it was 85 Bears vs KelceKrazie.  It was a break through for Kelly who won and had a knack for not winning the big game.  With this installment its similar.  Jared Wilson has been an "also-ran" for years, very seldom making the playoffs, let alone winning games in the playoffs. Now he has made the championship!  Lets take a look at this weeks matchup for the title

#3 Fish Ticklers 16-11 vs #5 Cheeseheads 15-12

Tori's team has been on fire, even with Patrick Maholmes going down Aaron Rodgers has stepped in nicely for her. Amon St. Brown and Chris Olave have been a big reason Tori has advanced to the finals as both have gone off during this playoff run.  Her running backs have surprised to give her some production Javonte Williams has been a big surprise all year, and Croskey-Merritt has gotten out of the doghouse in Washington to be productive. But Jared has two of the best players at their positions.  Puka Nauca has been out of this world during his playoff run and Bjian Robinson is still one of the best running backs in the league. DJ Moore had a revial last week to help and rookie Tyler Shough from the Saints has done his part to get good points for Jared.   But who wins??  Prediction:  its another close one, but big games from his big stars carries the day for Jared.  Fish Ticklers wins 133-128 in a great game keeping both Jared and Tori on the edge of their seats all day!
