Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle said that the team has not talked to him or his agent about a new deal, according to David Newton of ESPN. Dowdle is on a one-year deal for the 2025 season and is scheduled to become a free agent next March without an extension. The 27-year-old began the year as the No. 2 back behind Chuba Hubbard, but an injury to Hubbard gave Dowdle the opportunity he needed to vault himself into the lead-back role. The South Carolina product is now the team's clear RB1, even with Hubbard back healthy, and he currently ranks as the RB10 in half-PPR points through 11 weeks. Dowdle has 168 rushing attempts for 833 yards and five touchdowns on the ground and has added 23 receptions for 197 yards and another score through the air. At least for the rest of this season, Dowdle will be a must-start RB1 in fantasy football.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker is coming off a monster game against the Buffalo Bills last week. Tucker rushed 19 times for 106 yards with two touchdowns in the loss. He also added two receptions for 34 yards and an additional score through the air. The expectation is that Tucker is going to have a larger role in the offense going forward. The Bucs remain without Bucky Irving (shoulder, toe) for at least one more game. Tucker figures to continue splitting up the carries with Rachaad White in the backfield. However, Tucker might've surpassed White on the depth chart after that huge performance last week. Tucker should almost certainly have a larger role against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12. If he plays anything like he did last week, fantasy managers should be able to get RB2 value out of him.

Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton (shin) missed the entire week of practice and has been ruled out for the Week 12 game this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Horton will miss his third straight game. The Seahawks have suggested that the 22-year-old wideout could be a candidate for Injured Reserve, which would require him to miss at least four games. If Horton lands on IR, there's a chance he won't be back with the Seahawks before the end of the regular season. He was injured at a bad time after catching all four of his targets for 48 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Washington Commanders on Nov. 2. Horton hasn't played since. Although he has scored five times in his first eight NFL games, Horton will most likely be the WR4 in Seattle whenever he returns behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and Cooper Kupp.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (ankle) was a full participant in Friday's practice session and doesn't have an injury designation heading into Sunday's matchup against the Chicago Bears, per Mike DeFabo of The Athletic. Warren made steady progress throughout the week as he began the week with a DNP on Wednesday before being upgraded to limited on Thursday and ultimately clearing the injury report by Friday. The 27-year-old injured his ankle during Pittsburgh's win over the Bengals in Week 11, but said that he could have re-entered the game if the team needed him to. Kenneth Gainwell went off while Warren was sidelined, collecting a season-high seven catches for 81 yards with two touchdowns. Gainwell has been more involved recently, and he could continue to see more work with how productive he's been and with Warren banged up, but Warren is still the Steelers' best back and can be started as an RB2 for Week 12 against the Bears.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield is cleared to play this weekend after dealing with an illness throughout the week. Mayfield will have a tough challenge ahead of him against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12. Last week, Mayfield completed 16-of-28 passing attempts for 173 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the loss to the Buffalo Bills. Mayfield has been held to under 200 passing yards in two of his last three games. It's not all his fault as Mayfield is working with a skeleton crew on offense. The hope is that Chris Godwin (leg) will be able to make it back on the field this weekend. Regardless, Mayfield should be able to offer low-end QB1 value for this weekend in what should be a high-scoring affair.

Indianapolis Colts kicker Michael Badgley will be well-rested as he comes out of a Week 11 bye to take on the Kansas City Chiefs on the road in Week 12. Badgley has been solid for the Colts in five games, hitting seven of his eight field goals and 15 of 17 extra points. The veteran kicker also spent several seasons kicking for the Los Angeles Chargers, so he is already familiar with playing in what can be a challenging atmosphere at Arrowhead Stadium. Kansas City has been tough on fantasy kickers this season, allowing just the 25th-most fantasy points per game to the position. The tough matchup downgrades Badgley's fantasy outlook, making him a mid-range option heading into Week 12.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) has officially been ruled out for Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN. Like last week, Thomas was able to practice in limited capacity every day this week, but still isn't quite ready to return to action and will miss his third straight game. The 23-year-old has been one of the more disappointing early-round picks in fantasy this season, producing 30 receptions (60 targets) for 420 yards and two total touchdowns in eight games before the injury, ranking as the WR42 in PPR points per game (10.7). Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs should be well-rested as he comes out of a Week 11 bye to take on the Kansas City Chiefs on the road in Week 12. Warren is putting together an impressive rookie season, leading the Colts with 617 receiving yards. He has added 50 catches and four all-purpose touchdowns along the way. Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (glute) popped up with a new injury on Friday's injury report and is now listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Tennessee Titans, per Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said that Walker "should be fine" for Sunday despite the questionable tag, noting that the team is being precautionary. Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson (knee) has officially been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to Tyler Drake of AZSports. Benson was a limited participant in practice every day this week, but the Cardinals ultimately decided to hold him out for another week. Head coach Jonathan Gannon said that the second-year back looked good during practice this week, and that they'd "see how it goes" on Friday in regards to his chances to play in Week 12. It seems like Benson is making progress in his recovery, but he's not quite there yet. He has now been ruled out for his seventh consecutive game and has yet to practice in full capacity, which is likely the next big step for him to take to get back to the field. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco (shoulder) was a full participant in Friday's practice session and has been cleared from the injury report ahead of Sunday's matchup against the New England Patriots, according to the team's official website. It's unclearwhether Flacco will be the starter or return to a backup role, given thatJoe Burrow (toe) practiced in full on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that quarterback Daniel Jones (leg) is "good-to-go" for his team's Week 12 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Steichen also clarified that Jones' injury is actually to his fibula after it was initially reported as a calf issue, per James Boyd of The Athletic. Los Angeles Chargers rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden ranks as the TE12 in half-PPR fantasy points per game through the first nine games of his NFL career. Gadsden has developed strong chemistry with quarterback Justin Herbert and has 37 catches on 49 targets for 507 yards and two touchdowns going into the team's Week 12 bye. However, the 22-year-old hasn't scored since Oct. 19. Gadsden has cooled off a bit since back-to-back weeks of finding the end zone in Weeks 7 and 8, but he's had at least five targets in a game since all the way back in Week 5. The primary concern for Gadsden's fantasy managers going forward is the Chargers' banged-up offensive line, which might give quarterback Justin Herbert very little time to throw the football in the final stretch of the season against some tough opponents. The fifth-rounder could return with a bang in Week 13 against the Raiders, so fantasy managers shouldn't give up hope just yet.

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker will face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in Week 12. Butker has struggled this season, and his struggles continued last week against the Denver Broncos. Butker knocked through both of his field goal attempts, but missed one of his two extra-point attempts in Week 11. Butker has an 84.2% field goal percentage and 85.7% extra-point percentage this season, both marks rank outside the top-20 at the position. That said, Butker should be involved in a shootout against Indianapolis this week. The Colts offense has the most yards and points scored this season, which means the Chiefs will need to put a lot of points on the board to keep up. Butker should get a piece of the action and could provide value at the kicker position. Butker is ranked K9 in our RotoBaller rankings, making him worthy of a start in most leagues.
