The Detroit Lions have acquired the 57th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft from the Denver Broncos. In full, the Lions received picks No. 57 and 230 while the Broncos received picks No. 60 and 130. Denver has been busy on Day 2 of the draft, as they originally moved down from No. 51 to No. 57 through a trade with the Carolina Panthers. Now, they're moving down once again. They'll drop three picks in the second round, but they also move up 100 slots from the seventh round to the fourth round. So far, Denver has made just one selection cornerback Jahdae Barron in the first round, but they have also picked up plenty of mid-to-late-round picks. Notably, the Broncos have been very vocal about their plans to draft a running back, so perhaps that selection will come soon. In the meantime, the Lions will make their second pick of the draft a little sooner than originally expected. Their first-round pick on Thursday was defensive tackle Tyleik Williams.UPDATE: With the 57th overall pick, Detroit selected Georgia offensive guard Tate Ratledge.

Tre Harris Apr 25 8:00pm CT
    Tre Harris

The Los Angeles Chargers snagged wide receiver Tre Harris out of Ole Miss with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Harris worked well with new Giants QB Jaxson Dart in 2024, hauling in 60 catches for 1,030 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He missed five games with a lower-body injury. While he doesn't have the explosive speed or separation skills to be a true No. 1 WR, he has great strength and ball skills to be a reliable possession target. This is the second straight season the Bolts have added a wide receiver in Round 2, and now they'll look to pair Harris with last year's second-round pick, Ladd McConkey, to build a strong young receiving corps to work with Justin Herbert.

    Tetairoa McMillan

The Carolina Panthers have acquired the 51st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft from the Denver Broncos, according to ESPN's Field Yates. In full, eight picks are being swapped to complete this trade. Carolina acquired the 51st, 84th, 122nd, and 208th overall picks. Meanwhile, the Broncos received the 57th, 74th, 111th, and 230th selections. Carolina didn't possess its own second-round pick, so this will be their first selection of Day 2. On the opening night of the draft, they selected Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan.UPDATE: Carolina selected Texas A&M edge rusher Nic Scourton with the 51st overall pick.

Elijah Arroyo Apr 25 7:40pm CT
    Elijah Arroyo

The Seattle Seahawks have selected Miami tight end Elijah Arroyo with the 50th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons with the Hurricanes but didn't register more than five catches until his senior year. As a senior, he broke out with 35 catches, 590 yards, and seven touchdowns. He has demonstrated a promising blend of speed, athleticism, and recognition when running his routes, and he has reliable hands when the quarterback throws a ball on the mark. He'll now be tasked with taking on a substantial role in the Seahawks' offense, which replaced Geno Smith with Sam Darnold during the offseason.

    C.J. Stroud Apr 25 7:30pm CT
    C.J. Stroud

The Houston Texans have acquired the No. 48 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft from the Las Vegas Raiders. In return, the Texans are sending the 58th and 99th picks back to the Raiders. Houston decided to spend its selection on Minnesota offensive tackle Aireontae Ersery. A three-year starter at left tackle in college, Ersery will likely begin his NFL career on the right side of the offensive line. He'll be tasked with protecting C.J. Stroud after Houston reshaped its offensive line this offseason, trading away Kenyon Green and Laremy Tunsil.

Terrance Ferguson Apr 25 7:30pm CT
    Terrance Ferguson

The Los Angeles Rams have selected Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson with the No. 46 pick in the second round of Friday's draft. On paper, this is a good upgrade for the Rams who needed another tight end alongside Tyler Higbee. Ferguson finished as Oregon's all-time leader among tight ends with 134 receptions and 16 touchdowns during his college career. This past season, Ferguson finished with a career-high 43 receptions and 591 receiving yards in 12 games. He's quick and agile enough to possibly be helpful for screens as well. Rams' head coach Sean McVay isn't scared to use his offensive players in unique ways, so it wouldn't be shocking to see Ferguson making an impact right away in Los Angeles.

Mason Taylor Apr 25 7:30pm CT
    Mason Taylor

The New York Jets added a solid pass-catching tight end in the second round by selecting Mason Taylor out of LSU. The 20-year-old racked up 546 yards and two touchdowns in 2024, which was his most productive year in college. He looks the part of an NFL tight end and showed great hands by dropping just one of his 79 targets in 2024 after struggling with drops earlier in his career. His route tree expanded as the year went on, and he picked up more looks further down the field, although he was never a major deep threat. He has TE2 upside since there aren't many other options at the position for the Jets, and Justin Fields has shown that he likes to connect on shorter passes over the middle to his tight end.

Tyler Shough Apr 25 7:20pm CT
    Tyler Shough

The Saints drafted QB Tyler Shough near the top of the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, adding the QB from Louisville as the third quarterback off the board in the draft. The Saints took him ahead of Shedeur Sanders from Colorado, who continues to slide in the second round. Shough is an intriguing prospect who has the physical tools to be a traditional pocket passer. He was inconsistent, though, especially with his lower-body mechanics in his time at Louisville. He has more experience than most draft picks as a seven-year college prospect and will turn 26 during the first month of the season. Even though he isn't a long-term development project, Shough could help the Saints in the short term since Derek Carr is dealing with a shoulder injury, and his availability for 2025 is uncertain.

Christian Kirk Apr 25 7:13pm CT
    Christian Kirk

Dynasty | The Houston Texans drafted Iowa State receiver Jayden Higgins with the 34th pick of the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: It didn't take long for Higgins to hear his name called on day two as the Texans took him with the second pick of the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. With Tank Dell's injury situation still murky and Houston only adding Christian Kirk in the off-season, this looks like a solid landing spot for the former cyclone and shoudl solidify his spot as no worse than a high second round rookie pick.

Nick Chubb Apr 25 7:13pm CT
    Nick Chubb

Dynasty | The Cleveland Browns selected Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins with the 36th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: While Cleveland has struggled mightily for the better part of the last two decades, they've had no problem making running backs relevant - just ask anyone who had Nick Chubb the last five or six years. Judkins gets to stay close to home and immediately becomes the lead back in Cleveland over Jerome Ford. He should be a three down option and immediate lineup lock in dynasty leagues as a top five rookie pick.

    Nick Chubb

Dynasty | The Browns drafted Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins with the 36th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: Nobody really expected Ford to both enter and leave the 2025 NFL Draft as the starter and low and behold, the Browns didn't wait long to secure one of the top five running backs in the class. Judkins is a hard-nosed bruiser who can play on all three downs. While Ford could still have some value, he's no better than a change-of-pace back now. This also likely ends any chance of Nick Chubb returning to Cleveland next season.

Rhamondre Stevenson Apr 25 7:13pm CT
    Rhamondre Stevenson

Dynasty | The New England Patriots drafted running back TreVeyon Henderson with the 38th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: There was great debate as to which Ohio State running back would go first and it really ended up in a virtual tie as Quinshon Judkins was taken at #36 by Cleveland and Henderson was taken at #38 by New England. Henderson should slot on as at least the third down back complementing Rhamondre Stevenson, but he's also good enough to overtake him completely in time. While Ashton Jeanty, Omarion Hampton and Judkins will likely go 1-2-3 in most rookie drafts at the running back position, Henderson is going to be a pretty nice consolation prize and you're going to have to take him in round one if you love his chances.

Rhamondre Stevenson Apr 25 7:13pm CT
    Rhamondre Stevenson

Dynasty | The Patriots drafted Ohio State running back Rhamondre Stevenson with the 38th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: Stevenson is going to need to really perform well to keep the "thunder" part of what could be a "thunder and lightning" backfield moving forward because Henderson represents the biggest threat to playing time he's seen for quite some time. Stevenson himself was disappointing last season as his production was scattered and unpredictable. In reality, the selection of Henderson could make playing Stevenson a very risky proposition in dynasty leagues moving forward.

    D'Andre Swift Apr 25 7:13pm CT
    D'Andre Swift

Dynasty | The Chicago Bears drafted Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden with the 39th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: It's a curious pick and one that really looks like a selection that's better in reality than fantasy. The Bears already have DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, D'Andre Swift and the newly drafted Colston Loveland to throw the ball to. Burden is ultra-talented but this landing spot may not help his dynasty stock much as he'll likely fall to the late first or early second round of most dynasty rookie drafts. #buzzkill.

    D'Andre Swift Apr 25 7:13pm CT
    D'Andre Swift

Dynasty | The Bears drafted Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden with the 39th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: Williams already had DJ Moore, D'Andre Swift, Cole Kmet, and Rome Odunze to sling the ball to, but Chicago is clearly serious about setting him up for success as they've now added Michigan tight end Colston Loveland and now Burden. Williams started showing some solid signs last season and the loss of Keenan Allen now looks pretty negligible to his future as he's looking like a potential breakout QB1 next season.

The Buffalo Bills have traded up to the 41st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. In full, Buffalo acquired the 41st, 72nd, and 240th picks from the Chicago Bears in exchange for the 56th, 62nd, and 109th picks. The Bills drafted cornerback Maxwell Hairston with their own pick in the first round Thursday, and now they're making an aggressive trade to move up in the second round. The deal also arms Chicago with two new second-round picks, plus a fourth-round selection. The Bears have been very devoted to improving their offense so far, selecting Michigan tight end Colston Loveland and Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden.UPDATE: Buffalo took South Carolina defensive tackle T.J. Sanders with the 41st overall pick.

Caleb Williams Apr 25 7:00pm CT
    Caleb Williams

The Bears selected wide receiver Luther Burdenout of Missouri with the No. 39 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Burden earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2024 after leading the Tigers with 61 catches for 676 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns. He was even better in 2023 with 86 catches for 1,212 yards and 9 receiving touchdowns. He joins a very crowded wide receiver room alongside DJ Moore and Rome Odunze, but he gives the Bears even more options for second-year QB Caleb Williams in new head coach Ben Johnson's offense. If Burden steps in as the primary slot receiver in Johnson's system, he could be set for a huge rookie year as he plays the role that made Amon-Ra St. Brown a star in Detroit. He'll be high-risk until we get a clearer picture of his role, but he has a very high ceiling if he secures enough of the target share in Chicago.

TreVeyon Henderson Apr 25 6:50pm CT
    TreVeyon Henderson

The Patriots selected running back TreVeyon Henderson from Ohio State near the start of the second round with the No. 38 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Last year, Henderson helped lead the Buckeyes to the 2025 College Football Playoffs National Championship and scored 48 career touchdowns, the third-most in OSU history. He also ranks third in the history of Ohio State in all-purpose yards with 4,614 career yards. In 2024, he averaged 7.1 yards per carry and racked up 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground while adding 284 receiving yards and a touchdown as a receiver. His one receiving touchdown came in the Cotton Bowl against Texas. Henderson will join Rhamondre Stevenson, who just signed a four-year, $36 million extension before last season, and Antonio Gibson, who has two years left on his contract. Henderson is an interesting addition to the mix, but his role and playing time is very uncertain unless the Patriots move on from one of those veteran rushers.

Quinshon Judkins Apr 25 6:40pm CT
    Quinshon Judkins

The Cleveland Browns selected Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins with the 36th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. This was Cleveland's third selection of the draft, but the first they spent on an offensive player. Judkins is no stranger to the state of Ohio after spending his final collegiate season with the Buckeyes. As a senior, he totaled 1,060 rushing yards, 161 receiving yards, and 16 total touchdowns. The Browns hope Judkins can step up as their next franchise running back after a brief period of inconsistency at the position. Nick Chubb was previously the go-to running back in Cleveland, but he was never the same after his brutal knee injury in 2023. Chubb is currently a free agent, and the Browns entered the draft with a backfield featuring Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong Jr. Look for Kevin Stefanski to get Judkins involved right away, even if Ford and Strong remain involved to open the season.

Jayden Higgins Apr 25 6:30pm CT
    Jayden Higgins

The Houston Texans selected Iowa State wide receiver Jayden Higgins with the 34th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Houston obtained this pick from the New York Giants, who previously moved up to select Jaxson Dart in Round 1. After four wide receivers were drafted in the first round of the draft Thursday night, Higgins became the first receiver selected in the second round Friday. He caught 87 passes for 1,183 yards and nine touchdowns during his final collegiate season. Known for his large wingspan and outstanding ball skills, Higgins could contribute right away with the Texans. Houston lost Stefon Diggs via free agency this offseason, and they'll likely open the 2025 season without Tank Dell (knee) as he recovers from a torn ACL. Higgins will have a chance to earn reps in three-receiver sets alongside Nico Collins and offseason addition Christian Kirk.
