Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle B.J. Hill (undisclosed) was seen at the team's facility wearing a walking boot, according to ESPN's Ben Baby. It's early in the offseason, so this should not be viewed as much of a concern, but the Bengals were ravaged by injuries on defense a season ago. Hill signed a three-year, $33 million contract to remain with the team this offseason. The former third-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the New York Giants out of NC State has spent the last three seasons with Cincy, racking up 154 tackles and 12.5 sacks in 46 games. The 30-year-old will be tasked with helping the team turn things around under new defensive coordinator Al Golden following a disastrous 2024 campaign for its stop unit.

The New York Giants did not add any notable free-agent wide receivers this offseason, and the team did not pick a wideout in the 2025 NFL Draft. Following those developments, Dan Duggan of The Athletic believes Jalin Hyatt will safely make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp this summer. Hyatt, a former Fred Biletnikoff Award winner and third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Tennessee, has collected just 31 receptions for 435 yards in 33 career games. Last season, he caught eight passes for 62 yards. While it would be surprising to see him on the fantasy football radar, the editions of quarterbacks Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and Jaxson Dart all but ensure the G-Men will have better quarterback play in 2025. Hyatt likely will not start in three-wide sets, but he could make an impact as a rotational field-stretcher. Either way, he can be ignored for fantasy purposes.

According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, New York Giants running back Eric Gray is likely to be the odd man out in the team's running back room after the organization selected former Arizona State ball carrier Cam Skattebo in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. New York is likely to keep three running backs on the 53-man roster, and Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy Jr., and Devin Singletary are favorites to lock up those spots. Gray was a fifth-round pick out of Oklahoma in the 2023 NFL Draft and has racked up just 79 rushing yards and 31 carries, and 104 receiving yards on 16 receptions in 30 career games. While he could get a shot with another team, his early-career resume suggests he won't be on the fantasy football radar anytime soon. He is a safe drop in dynasty formats.

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Braden Fiske (knee) required a minor procedure this offseason for a knee injury that he suffered in the Divisional Round playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, but there are no concerns about his availability for the 2025 season. Fiske said he's in a "really good spot" mentally and looks just as explosive as he was pre-injury. As a rookie last year, the 25-year-old was an integral part of L.A.'s defense, leading the team with 8.5 sacks and also recording 10 QB hits and 44 total tackles while playing in all 17 regular-season games (eight starts). As long as he stays healthy, Fiske should continue to get better in Year 2 with the Rams on the interior of their defensive line. The former second-rounder (39th overall) in the 2024 NFL draft out of Florida State could be on the IDP fantasy radar sooner than later.

The Kansas City Chiefs released cornerback Robert Rochell on Monday to free up a roster spot that could be used on a tryout player during rookie minicamp or a veteran free agent. The Chiefs also recently inked 16 undrafted rookie free agents in addition to their 2025 draft class. The 27-year-old Rochell ends up being a roster casualty this offseason and will now look to latch on with another organization before training camp this summer. The former fourth-round selection (130th overall) by the Los Angeles Rams in 2021 out of Central Arkansas did not play in any games in 2025 and has just 25 tackles (22 solo), an interception and three fumble recoveries in his four NFL seasons with the Rams and Green Bay Packers. Rochell had signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs back in March.

The Las Vegas Raiders selected Montana State quarterback Tommy Mellott in the sixth round of this year's NFL draft, but he's expected to play multiple positions in his rookie year, including wide receiver and running back. "Tommy Mellott is Julian Edelman," one general manager said. The Las Vegas Review-Journal's Vincent Bonsignore writes that the Raiders want to transform Mellott into a player that can help them in different ways. As well as working on offense, he could be used on punt and kickoff returns and coverage. Mellott caught the attention of NFL scouts and coaches by posting a 4.39-second 40-yard dash, a 41-inch vertical and a 10-foot, four-inch broad jump at his Pro Day. New offensive coordinator Chip Kelly could get creative with how they use Mellott, but it's unlikely that he'll see enough time on the field to become a fantasy asset in 2025.

The New York Giants eventually expect rookie first-round quarterback Jaxson Dart to be their starting QB and the face of their franchise, but they won't put any pressure on him to be their QB1 before they feel he is ready for the job. Until then, the coaching staff will try to do everything they can to help the 21-year-old signal-caller become the best QB he can be. "He's got the makings of a good quarterback, and there's a long way to go. There's a developmental process that he's going to have to go through. Again, these offenses are not easy to learn, and the execution has to be at a high level," general manager Joe Schoen said. When rookie minicamp starts this Friday, Dart will merely be looking to get comfortable with the offensive scheme. Russell Wilson is going to start the year under center in New York, and depending on how the season goes, Dart could sit and learn all year.

Wide receiver Diontae Johnson's one-year deal with the Cleveland Browns is for the veteran's minimum of $1.17 million and doesn't include any guaranteed money, according to ESPN's Field Yates. It's essentially a zero-risk deal for the Browns, while Johnson will be hoping to re-establish his value at just 28 years old. The former third-round pick (66th overall) of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019 out of Toledo was traded to the Carolina Panthers last offseason. He caught 30 of 58 targets for 357 yards and three touchdowns in seven starts before then being traded to the Baltimore Ravens. Johnson was not a good fit there and only caught one of five targets for six yards before being cut. He then latched on with the Houston Texans and caught two of four targets for 12 yards in one game. Johnson has an opportunity in Cleveland alongside Jerry Jeudy, but his volatility and the Browns' QB situation makes him unattractive in most fantasy leagues.

Buffalo Bills QBs Mitchell Trubisky and Mike White are likely competing for one roster spot, in the opinion of The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia, who notes that the team is unlikely to utilize more than two spots on the 53-man roster for quarterbacks. Both players are set to become free agents following the 2025 season, so there's no contractual element to the competition.
From TheHuddle
The Kansas City Chiefs signed 16 undrafted rookie free agents after the conclusion of the 2025 NFL draft last month. The names they added were wide receiver Elijhah Badger (Florida), tight end Jake Briningstool (Clemson), safety Will Brooks (Tennessee), offensive lineman Dalton Cooper (Oklahoma State), cornerback Jacobe Covington (USC), punter Eddie Czaplicki (USC), wide receiver Mac Dalena (Fresno State), linebacker Brandon George (Pittsburgh), defensive tackle Coziah Izzard (Penn State), cornerback Kevin Knowles (Florida State), wide receiver Justin Lockhart (San Jose State), defensive back Glendon Miller (Maryland), offensive tackle Esa Pole (Washington State), cornerback Melvin Smith Jr. (Southern Arkansas), tight end Tre Watson (Texas A&M) and running back Elijah Young (Western Kentucky). All the additions face an uphill battle to make the final 53- man roster, but they'll look to impress the coaching staff in training camp this summer.

The Green Bay Packers released wide receiver Tulu Griffin, according to general manager Brian Gutekunst. Griffin will be looking to join a new organization after just signing a Reserve/Futures deal with the Packers back in January. However, the Packers needed to make a little room on their current roster after drafting both Matthew Golden (first round) and Savion Williams (third round) in last month's NFL draft. Griffin, who is a 24 years old, has yet to make his debut in the NFL after going undrafted out of Mississippi State in 2024.

Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said on Monday that veteran safety Jimmie Ward (foot) is out of his walking boot and has been running after having offseason foot surgery. "Jimmie is doing fine," Ryans said. Ward suffered his foot injury in Week 16 in 2024 in his second year with the Texans and was unable to play again the rest of the way. The 33-year-old veteran recorded 48 tackles (32 solo), five tackles for loss, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and four pass breakups in just 10 starts last year. The 11-year-old veteran has dealt with multiple injuries the last two years in Houston and has played in just 20 total games. It looks like Ward should be ready for the start of the 2025 regular season, but he can be avoided at the defensive back position in IDP fantasy formats. He was originally the 30th overall pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round in 2014 out of Northern Illinois.

The Arizona Cardinals signed free-agent tight end Josiah Deguara to an undisclosed deal on Monday, according to AZCardinals.com's Zach Gershman. Deguara is heading into his sixth NFL season in 2025 after spending the 2024 campaign with the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he caught all three of his targets for just 14 yards in 15 games (no starts). The former third-round pick (94th overall) by the Green Bay Packers in the 2020 NFL draft out of Cincinnati will provide tight end depth in Arizona behind starter Trey McBride and backups Tip Reiman and Elijah Higgins. Deguara won't be anywhere near the fantasy radar and will most likely spend most of his time with the Cardinals working on special teams. As a tight end, he has accumulated 50 receptions on 61 targets for 450 yards and two touchdowns in his five NFL seasons over 65 games (10 starts).

Baltimore Ravens executive vice president and general manager Eric DeCosta revealed the team's release of veteran kicker Justin Tucker in an official statement on X. Amid allegations of potential misconduct, the thirteen-year pro is out in Baltimore. The 35-year-old is currently still the league's most accurate kicker, though Kansas City's Harrison Butker is hot on his heels and could overtake him. Before 2024, Tucker was seemingly a shoo-in for best kicker in fantasy, but things took a turn with the news of allegations against him. Never falling under an 82.3% success rate in a given season, his production cratered last year -- setting career-lows in makes and attempts (22-for-30) while missing two extra-point attempts for the first time since 2019. It's unclear what the outcome will be regarding his legal issues, nor if he'll find a job with another NFL team. It's an unfortunate instance that tarnishes a fantastic career.

Per the team, the Philadelphia Eagles have waived running back Tyrion Davis-Price. The former San Francisco 49er spent his first two seasons in the league with the organization after they drafted him in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Davis-Price was productive in his final season at LSU, rushing for 1,003 yards and six touchdowns on 221 carries (4.8 YPC). However, he hasn't quite carved out a role at the NFL level. During his stint with San Francisco, the 24-year-old rushed 40 times for 120 yards (seven appearances), failing to catch either of his targets. In 2024, he suited up just once, toting three carries for seven yards. He may find some work on special teams, as Davis-Price possesses solid athleticism, but he doesn't figure to stick in an offense or make an impact for fantasy.

Seattle Seahawks rookie quarterback Jalen Milroe told reporters of SeattleSports.com that he's been focused on improving his lower-half mechanics during rookie minicamp. The Alabama product has been working on fine-tuning his base to aid in his evolution as a passer. "It's all about being an efficient passer," said the 22-year-old. "And so the more you work, the more you understand your body...So that's something that we continue to work on." Milroe was anything but the model of efficiency during his senior year at Alabama, though seeing him address it early is an encouraging sign. More so, considering he's under the tutelage of Jordan Palmer, brother to Carson Palmer, who worked with Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. The Seahawks' third-round pick has all the toolsy, physical gifts that play at the NFL, but he'll still need to refine his mechanics before surpassing teammates Drew Lock and Sam Darnold on the team's depth chart.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Los Angeles Rams are signing former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Britain Covey to a one-year contract. He spent the first three seasons of his career with the Eagles after signing with them as an undrafted free agent back in 2022. The 28-year-old appeared in four games with Philadelphia last season, hauling in 7-of-8 targets for 34 yards, and returned six punts on special teams for another 46. He hasn't played many offensive snaps during his time in the league, but he's been a sure-handed short-area target (79% catch rate) and a viable asset in the return game. The Rams have three quality starting wideouts in Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, and Tutu Atwell, so it seems unlikely Covey will make a mark in the offense, barring injuries. He should compete for snaps on special teams in 2025.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford signed a renegotiated contract that will allow him to earn $44 million in 2025, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport. If Stafford is on the roster at the start of free agency in 2026, he will make another $40 million guaranteed.
Fantasy Spin: It is a great deal for both sides in that Stafford will make $84 million over the next two seasons (as opposed to $58 million), while the Rams get him on a deal that is well below what most of the highest-paid veteran quarterbacks are making on a per-year basis. At this point, it appears the 37-year-old Stafford will be under center in Los Angeles for at least two more seasons.
From TheHuddle
The Los Angeles Rams and quarterback Matthew Stafford finally finalized terms on his new deal for the 2025 season, sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Stafford will earn $44 million this year, with $4 million already paid and the other $40 million fully guaranteed. The Rams were exploring the possibility of trading Stafford this offseason, but instead the two sides worked something out to keep him in L.A. for at least one more season. The 37-year-old two-time Pro Bowler threw for 3,762 yards, 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 16 regular-season starts but had the Rams peaking in the postseason, and they almost pulled off the upset over the eventual Super Bowl-champion Eagles in the playoffs. Although Stafford makes the Rams a Super Bowl contender and he was much better down the stretch, he wasn't even a top-15 fantasy QB in 2024. Consider him as no more than a midrange QB2 in fantasy.
