San Francisco 49ers fourth-year tight end Jake Tonges filled in admirably while teammate George Kittle missed five games with a hamstring injury. However, since Kittle's return, Tonges has seen a total of 16 offensive snaps over the past three weeks. And while he did catch a two-yard touchdown in Week 8, it came on his lone target over that same timeframe. While Kittle has yet to top 4 targets or 45 yards since returning, Tonges no longer appears to have any role in this offense and can confidently be dropped by the select few fantasy managers who might still be holding him. Kittle remains an every-week starter, while the hope remains that the eventual return of quarterback Brock Purdy will put him right back into the weekly TE1 conversation.

Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins (foot) briefly left Thursday night's win over the Raiders after having his foot pinned awkwardly beneath a defender's body during a third-quarter rush attempt. While he was able to return to the game, Dobbins and the team are now awaiting a second opinion to determine the severity of the foot injury. Dobbins has been a workhorse for the Broncos all season long, and in a game bereft of offensive highlights, he still managed a respectable 77 yards on 18 carries. Dobbins will now benefit from the post-TNF mini-bye before a Week 11 matchup with the Chiefs, and then the team's actual Week 12 Bye. If Dobbins is forced to miss time, RJ Harvey becomes the obvious next-man-up. However, having topped seven carries only once this season, there should also be an expectation for Tyler Badie and/or Jaleel McLaughlin to see an expanded role.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (foot) has been in the building, working hard, and the expectation is that he should return at some point this season, according to GM Monti Ossenfort. When asked if that meant a return to the starting lineup, Ossenfort was less committal, saying, "A lot can happen" during the four weeks Murray is slated to miss after being placed on IR on Wednesday. The Cardinals are 1-2 in the three games started by Jacoby Brissett, but the offense has taken a notable step forward, with both Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride benefiting from Brissett's 287 passing yards per game, along with his six touchdowns to only one interception. As he supports the team's primary pass-catchers, Brissett himself has also entered the streaming conversation in deeper leagues and superflex formats.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Isaiah Bond (foot) will miss Sunday's game against the Jets with a foot injury sustained in the team's Week 8 loss to the Patriots. Following a Week 9 bye, Bond has yet to return to practice and was ruled out of action on Friday. Since accumulating a season-high 58 yards on three catches in Week 4, Bond has made only four catches over his past four games and has been blanked from the stat sheet in the last two. Anyone still holding onto him in redraft leagues can drop him without reservation, and a similar move needs to be at least considered in dynasty leagues, depending on available options on waivers.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. (hamstring) carries a questionable tag into Sunday's Week 10 matchup with the Jets. Fannin was a surprise DNP at Thursday's practice before returning to action on Friday. Through nine weeks, Fannin leads the Browns with 38 catches for 352 yards, and his two receiving touchdowns are tied for the team lead. He has been a reliable outlet throughout the season, but especially since Dillon Gabriel's takeover at quarterback. He has caught at least four passes in each of Gabriel's starts, with both of his touchdowns coming in that span. If active, he should provide a safe floor with a high potential ceiling against a Jets defense that saw two of its best players depart at the trade deadline.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn is refusing to announce his starting quarterback for Sunday's Week 10 contest against the Cleveland Browns, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. "We'll have a quarterback," Glenn said. The first-year head coach wouldn't even say if he hopes to get to a point where there's an entrenched starter. Cimini writes that Justin Fields is expected to "get the nod" on Sunday after leading the Jets to their first win of the year before their Week 9 bye. Fields probably gives New York its best chance of winning a second straight game over veteran Tyrod Taylor, and he certainly gives fantasy managers more upside as a QB2. However, nothing is official, and Fields won't be all that attractive as a QB2 streamer in fantasy lineups this weekend if he makes another start against a very capable Browns defense that is also coming off a bye.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said he expects wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hamstring) to be activated from Injured Reserve on Saturday and play against the New York Jets on Sunday, according to Scott Petrak of Browns Zone. It will be a boost to what has been a rough Browns offense led by rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel. Tillman has been on IR since injuring his hamstring in Week 4, though, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the 25-year-old is eased back into the fold. However, it's good news for Cleveland's WR room, with rookie Isaiah Bond (foot) looking unlikely to play. When fully healthy, Tillman should serve as the team's WR2 behind Jerry Jeudy, who has really struggled in 2025. Before landing on IR, Tillman had 11 catches on 20 targets for 106 yards and two touchdowns. He's worth a speculative waiver-wire pickup if you're hurting at WR, but we wouldn't recommend starting him in his first game back.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel announced on Friday that wide receiver Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) will not play this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10 action, per Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald. This was the expectation after Boutte missed practice all week following a hamstring injury he picked up early in last Sunday's win over the Atlanta Falcons. Before the injury, the 23-year-old was on a three-game touchdown streak, so he's worth stashing in fantasy leagues if you have the room. Boutte already has a career-high five touchdown catches and has contributed 23 receptions for 431 yards on 31 targets through nine games in his third NFL season. With Boutte sidelined this weekend, Stefon Diggs will operate as the clear No. 1 wideout, with DeMario Douglas and Mack Hollins also in line for more targets. Rookies Kyle Williams and Efton Chism III will be looking for more snaps as well.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders (back) will be the team's No. 2 QB on Sunday against the New York Jets in Week 10, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. Sanders missed the Week 8 loss to the New England Patriots due to back tightness, but he's ready to back up fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel once again coming out of the team's bye week. With the 23-year-old signal-caller back to full health, Bailey Zappe will revert to the QB3 role. Sanders has slowly risen up Cleveland's QB depth chart this year following the trades of Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco. The Browns want to get an extended look at Gabriel as the starter under center, but it doesn't mean that Sanders won't make his NFL debut for the team later this year. Still, he should only be rostered right now in dynasty/keeper leagues.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel announced on Friday that running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) is ruled out for Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, according to Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald. Stevenson will miss a second straight game after injuring his toe in the Week 8 victory over the Cleveland Browns. He has yet to practice since the injury, which means he could be on his way to a third straight missed game on a short week for next Thursday's divisional contest against the New York Jets. With Stevenson officially out again, rookie TreVeyon Henderson will be in line for lead-back duties again this Sunday in Tampa, with Terrell Jennings backing him up. The 23-year-old Henderson will be in play as a plug-and-play RB2 in fantasy lineups. Last week, with Stevenson out, he had a season-high 14 carries for 55 yards and also caught a season-high four passes on six targets for 32 yards.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle (quadriceps) was a full participant in Friday's practice and has been cleared to play in Week 10 versus the division-rival New Orleans Saints on Sunday, according to the team. Dowdle did not practice on Wednesday, leading to questions about his availability for the weekend, but head coach Dave Canales made it sound like the team was fully counting on Dowdle to be available against the Saints. He was limited on Thursday before being upgraded to a full practice on Friday, so Dowdle should be fine to once again serve as the team's lead back on Sunday. The 27-year-old has been fantastic out of Carolina's backfield this year, unseating Chuba Hubbard for the RB1 role. In the last five games, Dowdle has gone off with 652 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 103 carries while also adding 10 catches for 112 yards and another score. Start him everywhere in Week 10 in a plus matchup.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers rookie first-round wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan (hamstring) was added to Friday's injury report with a hamstring injury and is now questionable to play on Sunday against the division-rival New Orleans Saints in Week 10. Head coach Dave Canales said McMillan's hamstring issue "popped up" on Friday. The 22-year-old wasn't listed on the weekly injury report on Wednesday or Thursday. Late-week additions to the injury report are usually never a good thing, so fantasy managers should not be surprised if McMillan is unavailable to play this weekend or limited if he's on the field. In his first NFL season, McMillan has been the Panthers' most consistent pass-catcher, hauling in 41 of his 69 targets for 558 yards and two touchdowns in nine starts. If he cannot go against New Orleans, Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker would be in play as flex options in fantasy leagues, with rookie Jimmy Horn Jr. being elevated to the No. 3 role.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn is non-committal on whether newly acquired wide receivers Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie III will make their debuts with the team in Week 10 on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. Glenn said that Mitchell is "a true X" receiver who can win in one-on-one matchups, while Metchie is a "master" route-runner out of the slot. Maybe Mitchell and Metchie need more time to study the offensive playbook? The Jets acquired Metchie from the Philadelphia Eagles last week and Mitchell from the Indianapolis Colts at Tuesday's trade deadline. Garrett Wilson (knee) will return this weekend from a knee injury that kept him sidelined for the last few games, but there is an opportunity for both Mitchell and Metchie to carve out roles with Josh Reynolds (hip). But in a bad Jets passing attack, both Mitchell and Metchie aren't much more than deep-league dart throws.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. (hamstring) is back on the practice field on Friday after missing Thursday's session with a hamstring injury, according to Camryn Justice of WEWS. Fannin was a full participant at Wednesday's practice, so his DNP on Thursday raised eyebrows across the fantasy community. The 21-year-old could still be questionable to play this Sunday against the New York Jets, but his return to practice on Friday is a good sign for his availability this weekend. Check back later on Friday for Fannin's official status going into Sunday's contest. If Fannin is active against the Jets, he's pretty much a must-start in fantasy lineups, as he leads the Browns in catches (38), targets (51), and receiving yards (352) through nine weeks. If Fannin is limited or out in Week 10, fellow TE David Njoku would have clear WR1 utility.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) was not seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Friday, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. Boutte has not practiced all week after injuring his hamstring in the Week 9 win over the Atlanta Falcons, so he's likely to be officially ruled out for Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers later on Friday. The 23-year-old ended his streak of three straight games with touchdowns after getting hurt early in last Sunday's game against Atlanta, as he finished with no catches on just one target. He will probably be questionable, at best, for Week 11, too, with that contest coming next Thursday night against the division-rival New York Jets. With Boutte likely out this weekend, Stefon Diggs, DeMario Douglas, and Mack Hollins will likely start in three-wide sets, with rookie Kyle Williams also likely to see an expanded role.
From RotoBaller
The Indianapolis Colts announced on Friday that they placed defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (neck) on Injured Reserve. Buckner will now be forced to miss at least the next four games, starting with this Sunday's game in Berlin, Germany, against the Atlanta Falcons. The 31-year-old three-time Pro Bowler will be eligible to return on Dec. 14 against the Seattle Seahawks. It's a notable loss for the interior of the Colts' defensive line for the foreseeable future. In nine games this year, Buckner had four sacks, 42 tackles (26 solo), nine tackles for loss, and 13 QB hits for Indy. With the veteran pass-rusher out for at least four games, the Colts will need the likes of Grover Stewart, Neville Gallimore, and Adetomiwa Adebawore, among others, to step up.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (knee) is working off to the side during Friday's practice and is unlikely to play on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN. Stevenson has been unable to practice since suffering a toe injury in the Week 8 win over the Cleveland Browns, and he's on track to miss a second straight game this weekend. And with a short week upcoming for a tilt next Thursday night against the division-rival New York Jets, Stevenson may be fighting an uphill battle to be ready to play in Week 11. With Rhambo likely to sit against the Buccaneers, rookie TreVeyon Henderson will once again have an expanded role, but Terrell Jennings could once again see valuable touches out of the Pats' backfield. Even with Jennings involved, Henderson will have RB2 upside in fantasy with Stevenson likely out for another week.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) is not practicing again on Friday and will be ruled out for the Week 10 game this Sunday against the New England Patriots, according to FOX Sports' Greg Auman. Even though Tampa is coming off its bye week, Irving is not ready and will miss a fifth straight game this weekend, mainly due to a shoulder subluxation that he's still recovering from. The 23-year-old is also dealing with a left-foot sprain. His next chance to return will come in Week 11 next Sunday on the road against the Buffalo Bills. Irving needs to remain stashed in all fantasy leagues, but he won't be active for Week 10. Rachaad White will once again have plug-and-play value as an RB2 with Irving out, while Sean Tucker will also have an expanded workload as the RB2 for the Bucs this weekend.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (leg) didn't practice again on Friday and will be ruled out for the Week 10 game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, according to Greg Auman of FOX Sports. Godwin is slowly making progress, but he's still not ready coming out of the bye and will miss a fourth straight game this weekend. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported on Thursday that the Bucs are taking their time with the 29-year-old pass-catcher, and he might not return until late November or early December. Tampa is thin at the receiver position with veteran Mike Evans (collarbone) potentially out for the rest of the year, but the team isn't going to rush Godwin back after he suffered a season-ending ankle dislocation in Week 7 of last year. With Godwin out again this Sunday, rookies Emeka Egbuka and Tez Johnson, and Sterling Shepard will work in starting three-wide sets.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that wide receiver Joshua Palmer (ankle, knee) is questionable to play in Week 10 against the division-rival Miami Dolphins on Sunday, according to Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic. Palmer has been limited in practice all week and is up in the air to make his return this weekend. The 26-year-old hasn't played since Week 6, so even if he gets the green light to suit up this Sunday, he won't be guaranteed significant snaps on offense as WR depth behind Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman. Palmer hasn't made much of a fantasy impact in his first year in Buffalo to begin with, catching 14 passes for 234 yards and no touchdowns in six games played. Shakir is really the only wideout in Buffalo that is worth weekly starting consideration through nine weeks in 2025.
