    Tue Sep 9 5:13pm ET

Hey everyone. It's now Week 2 of the fantasy season and free agents (FA) are able to be claimed and trades able to be made. FA are distributed through the waiver wire. The deadline for requesting a FA through waivers is 11:59 PM on Wednesdays. Remember when requesting players the min and max for each position. If your request puts you under the min or over the max at any position, the site won't let it go through. The waiver order for this week is reverse draft order, so Pick 10 would be first and Pick 1 would be last. After waivers, you will be able to add a FA to your roster through the Add/Drop function starting Thursdays at 7:00 PM. Each FA pick-up is $2 and each trade is $5. Good luck and let me know if there's any questions.

Reminder that I'm still waiting payment of 150 for entry fee from Garth, Roger, Tom and Quattro and payment of 125 from Rick. My preferred payment method is Venmo @SamBernero. Thanks all.

The season starts tomorrow with the Eagles and the Cowboys, then there's a tricky Friday game with the Chiefs and the Chargers. Be sure to have your lineups ready. Also, please remember the NFL Picks and NFL Survivor Pool. If you have any questions on either, please let me know, or just check it out in the bylaws. Good luck everyone!

Thanks for a great draft everyone. I hope everybody is happy with their teams. The first game is a week from today, next Thursday, so be sure to set your lineups before then. Also, don't forget about the prizes for NFL Picks or the Survivor Pool. Both are located under the POOLS menu on the site. With respect to payment, my preferred method of payment is through Venmo. I'm @SamBernero. Good luck and feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

    Official 2025 OFL Bylaws

The entry fee for the league is $150 and is due by the time of the draft. If necessary, arrangements can be made on payment. The draft for the 2025 season will take place, online, on Sunday, August 24, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Draft will be held on the league site (rtsports.com).  The draft order will be set randomly the day prior. You will be able to enter the draft by simply clicking on DRAFT ROOM beneath the countdown clock on the main page, or by clicking on the menus LEAGUE & DRAFT ROOM. If you're using the app, you can just click on DRAFT. The draft will consist of 17 rounds and will move in a standard, serpentine style with 2 minutes between picks. If you don't make a selection in time, the site will auto-draft a player for you.

Each owner will make a selection each round to fill out their roster, which will be composed of 17 spots. Owners must draft: 1 Quarterback, 2 Running Backs, 2 Wide Receivers, 1 Tight End, 1 Kicker & 1 Defense/Special Teams Unit. For the remaining roster spots, owners may select any position, but there is a maximum number of selections for each position that owners cannot exceed. The max for each position is as follows:

    • QB:              3
    • RB:              6
    • WR:             6
    • TE:               3
    • K:                 2
    • DEF/ST:      2

In addition to your 17 spots on your roster, you are able to have 2 players on your IR after Week 1. Please remember that you're able to add a player to the IR even if they're not injured. The purpose of the IR is to serve as a reserve location for players, without having to keep them within roster guidelines. There is no cost for placing a player on, or taking them off your IR.

    STARTING LINEUPS

Prior to each week’s games, owners can input their lineups as early as Wednesdays, each week of the season. Your starting lineup for each week would consist of: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF/ST & a FLEX, which would be 1 of the following: 3rd RB...3rd WR...2nd TE.

The site will allow you to input a player up until that player's game starts. Keep in mind, if you have a player in an earlier game (Thurs or Sat), they must be in your lineup before that game starts. On the opposite end, if you have a player in a late game (Sun or Mon night), and they don't play, you wouldn't get any points from that player. However, you would have the option of starting another player at that position if you find out before that game starts. If you don't have another option on your roster, you can pick up a free agent to substitute in for that game (if before the Free Agent period ends).

    SCORING

The league uses PPR scoring, with 6 pts for each TD regardless of position. Along with points for yardage, scoring and receptions, bonus scoring is in place. Bonus points are awarded when a player reaches a certain amount of yardage, has a scoring play over a certain yardage amount, or other similar scenarios. For a full breakdown on scoring, feel free to check out that section of the league rules.

    FANTASY SEASON

Regular Season:  Wk 1 thru Wk 15 NFL Season

Post-Season: Wk 16 and Wk 17 of Season  (Week 18 of the season has no effect on the fantasy league, w/ exception to NFL Picks & NFL Survivor Pools)

Teams are not broken into divisions. In the regular season, all owners will play each team once, and; will face 6 owners, twice. The fantasy schedule is automatically generated thru the site following the draft and will determine weekly match-ups. There is no tie breaker for regular season games. The result of the game would be a tie...For the post-season, a tie breaker IS used - REGULAR SEASON POINTS.

The teams w/ the 4 best records will qualify for the Post-Season. The teams will be seeded #1 through #4, based on final standings. The Post-Season will begin NFL Week 16 w/ #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3. The winners of each game will compete in Week 17 to decide this year's champion.

Bronze Bowl: The consolation game for 3rd place will take place in Week 17 of the season & will be between the two eliminated playoff teams.

    FREE AGENTS

The cost to add a Free Agent to your roster is $2.00. This would go toward your transaction fees and would be due by the start of Week 16 (start of playoffs) of the season. Owners may request free agents (FA) thru the waiver wire (WW) each wk from after Week 1 thru Week 15. FA are distributed based on a tumbler waiver order. Initial order for the tumbler will be set based on draft position. & move in reverse draft order w/ the team that drafted last being 1st on the priority list. For each week of the season, the order will change based on how many free agents have been acquired be each owner (i.e. the owner who has obtained the most free agents will be moved to the last spot in the waiver wire & so on, for the following week). The most free agents awarded each week is 3 through the WW, but; you can request as many as you want. To request a FA, click on the menus, TEAM & WW. You will have your roster on 1 side & a list of available players on the other. To request a FA, you would click on the player you would like to add to your roster, and a player currently on your roster. You would need to either drop the player on your current roster, or move them to your IR in order to add the FA you selected.

Please remember the maximums and minimums for each position. For example, if you request a RB, but; you already have the max at that position on your roster, the site will not allow you to acquire the requested player, so make sure your request is valid. Also, you can't involve a player that is on your IR in a WW request. The site won't allow that request to go through either. You can only select players that are on your active roster. The deadline for requesting players thru the WW is Wednesdays at 11:59 P.M.

On the next day, Thursday, as of 7:00 P.M., FA can be picked up w/o using the WW. At that time & up until the start of the Monday night game, you will be able to add as many FA as you want by clicking on TEAM & ADD/DROP. There is no order of priority as in the WW. It's first come, first served, but; remember the same charge of $2 per FA applies.

After Week 15, free agents aren’t able to be picked up. The only exception, would be the Mercy Rule. If an owner doesn't have enough players to compose a starting lineup from their roster due to injuries, suspensions or any other reason; they can notify the commissioner who would perform the action to acquire a FA to make a complete, starting lineup. This also applies to Week 1. Please notify as me soon as you are aware that you need a player, as I won't be able to add a FA for you once their game starts. There is no cost for picking up a FA through the Mercy Rule.

    TRADES

The cost for a trade is $5.00 to each team, regardless of number of players involved in the trade. This would go toward your transaction fees and would also be due by Week 15 of the season. Trades can be proposed by owners following the end of Wk 1 & until Wk 12. A trade must be agreed to by 1:00 on Sundays. An owner can propose a trade to another owner thru contacting them thru any means they like, or on the site. To officially propose a trade on the site, select the menus, TEAMS & TRADES. If a trade is agreed upon, I will be notified & finalize the trade. Pls be advised that if you do propose a trade that conflicts w/ the max for rosters, similar to the WW, the site will not allow the trade to take place. (example: if a trade would result in you having above the max number of WR, the site will not allow the trade to go through). You can also not trade anyone on your IR.

Please note that a tool owners can use when attempting to trade is the Trade Block. Owners can place a player on the trade block & post the position(s) they need for other owners to view.

A trade can be denied by the commissioner if it is found to be very unbalanced, or is overly suspicious (i.e., Josh Allen for Daniel Jones). This decision is at the discretion of the commissioner and all decisions made will be based on the integrity of the league. If there is strong objection by several owners to a trade that has been approved or denied, it will be re-reviewed.

    1) NFL Picks (Weeks 1 thru 18) -  each owner will make a pick for the winner of each game for each week of the NFL regular season. This will begin in Week 1 & take place through Week 18. To submit your picks, click on the menus POOLS - NFL PICKS & MAKE PICKS. After picking the winner of each NFL game, be sure to click SUBMIT. Make sure to double check that your picks were properly saved after submitting. Note that the point spread is NOT factored into these games.

    2)  NFL Survivor Pool (Weeks 1 thru 18) - new this season is the NFL Survivor Pool, which will work the same as any standard knock out pool you may have done before. Before each week, owners will select an NFL team they think has the best chance of winning that week. To submit your pick, click on the menus POOLS - SURVIVOR & MAKE PICKS. Be sure to click SUBMIT after making your pick. Note that you can only select a team one time over the season, so choose wisely. If the team you select wins, you move on to the following week, if they lose, you're out. Pool will continue until there is only 1 owner remaining, or the end of Week 18, whichever comes first.

    3) High scoring, single game over the fantasy regular and post-season (Weeks 1 thru 17) - can be tracked by clicking on LEAGUE & SCHEDULE.

Daniel Jones Sep 10 10:00pm ET
    Daniel Jones

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones put together an unbelievable season debut on Sunday. He completed 22-of-29 passing attempts for 272 yards with one touchdown. Jones didn't stop there as he rushed seven times for 26 yards with an additional two scores. I don't think anyone had Jones scoring three touchdowns on their opening week bingo card. It will get more challenging for Jones in Week 2 against a tough Denver Broncos defense. After that, Jones will play the Titans, Rams, and Raiders. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect another three-touchdown game for Jones in Week 2. However, he could be an interesting long-term option given the Colts do play some lackluster defenses early in the season.

Kalel Mullings Sep 10 10:00pm ET
    Kalel Mullings

Tennessee Titans running back Kalel Mullings (ankle) wasn't able to do much of the field during the season opener. He appeared in only a handful of snaps before exiting with an ankle injury. Now, Mullings is opening Week 2 on the sideline for Wednesday's practice. The absence of Mullings leaves Julius Chestnut as the lone backup behind Tony Pollard right now. Mullings will still have a few more days to practice before needing to make a final decision. The rookie back isn't someone that is going to offer much value right now, but is worth stashing in dynasty formats. Fantasy managers will need to check back throughout the week for another update on his status.

    From RotoBaller

Keon Coleman Sep 10 9:40pm ET
    Keon Coleman

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman (groin) logged a full practice session during Wednesday's practice. This is good news after Coleman was battling a groin injury throughout last week. The groin issue didn't stop him in the season opener as he recorded eight receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown in the win. The second-year wideout appears ready to take the next step this season. It appears Coleman and quarterback Josh Allen have improved chemistry from last season. It was only one game, but this could be a breakout year for Coleman. The 22-year-old should be started in most fantasy formats after that 112-yard season opener.

    From RotoBaller

Evan Engram Sep 10 9:30pm ET
    Evan Engram

Denver Broncos tight end Evan Engram (calf) was forced to make an early exit from Sunday's season opener against the Tennessee Titans. Engram was pulled out of the contest with a calf injury and didn't return. Now, Engram will open the week as a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. It doesn't sound like the injury is too serious, so the Broncos are probably just being extra cautious. Barring any setbacks, Engram should be out there versus the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2.

    From RotoBaller

Christian McCaffrey Sep 10 9:20pm ET
    Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (calf, rest) did not participate in practice on Wednesday. This shouldn't come as a surprise after McCaffrey dealt with a calf issue all throughout last week. It didn't stop him from playing as he rushed 22 times for 69 yards while hauling in nine receptions for an additional 73 yards in the season opener. He opens the practice week on the sideline, but that is probably for rest purposes. The 49ers want to give McCaffrey time to fully heal his calf issue. Fantasy managers should expect McCaffrey to be out there for Week 2. He'll remain an elite RB1 as long as he can stay healthy.

    From RotoBaller

Brandon McManus Sep 10 8:30pm ET
    Brandon McManus

Green Bay Packers kicker Brandon McManus looks to keep his solid run going in Week 2 as the Packers host the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football. McManus kicked two field goals from 38 and 34 yards out and converted all three of his extra point attempts in Week 1 as the Packers beat the Lions 27-19. In the regular season, McManus has missed just one kick in his Packers' career, so he's been reliable. Given that the Packers are on a trajectory to be one of the upper-echelon teams in the NFL, McManus should get plenty of opportunities in the future for Green Bay. He's startable in leagues with a kicker slot if you didn't get one of the top kickers in your draft.

Davante Adams Sep 10 8:23pm ET
    Davante Adams

Los Angeles Rams OT Rob Havenstein (ankle), OG Kevin Dotson (ankle), OG Steve Avila (ankle), WR Davante Adams (rest) and TE Colby Parkinson (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 10. TE Davis Allen (knee) was a limited participant.

    D.J. Moore

Chicago Bears CB Kyler Gordon (hamstring) and DT Grady Jarrett (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 10. LB T.J. Edwards (hamstring), CB Josh Blackwell (groin), RB Roschon Johnson (foot) and WR Jahdae Walker (ankle) were limited during practice. WR DJ Moore (abdomen, groin) and CB Jaylon Johnson (calf, groin) fully participated in practice. The Bears only held a walkthrough Wednesday, so the report is an estimation.

Arden Key Sep 10 7:53pm ET
    Arden Key

Tennessee Titans S Quandre Diggs (hand), OT JC Latham (hip), RB Kalel Mullings (ankle) and DT T'Vondre Sweat (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 10. LB Arden Key (pectoral), CB L'Jarius Sneed (knee) and S Kevin Winston Jr. (hamstring) were limited during practice.

    D.J. Moore Sep 10 7:53pm ET
    D.J. Moore

Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore (abdomen, groin) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 10. The Bears only held a walkthrough Wednesday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Spin: Moore had a solid start to the season with 68 yards on three catches. He will be on of the main targets in the passing game this season and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

    From TheHuddle

Christian McCaffrey Sep 10 7:43pm ET
    Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers DE Nick Bosa (non-injury), DE Yetur Gross-Matos (knee), WR Jauan Jennings (shoulder), RB Christian McCaffrey (calf), QB Brock Purdy (shoulder, toe) and OT Trent Williams (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 10. OG Ben Bartch (elbow, knee), RB Jordan James (finger) and WR Jordan Watkins (ankle) were limited during practice. LB Luke Gifford (knee), QB Mac Jones (knee) and OG Dominick Puni (knee) fully participated in practice.

    From TheHuddle

Matthew Golden Sep 10 7:40pm ET
    Matthew Golden

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden (ankle) was a limited participant on Monday with an ankle injury, but put in two full practices to come off the injury report as the Packers host the Commanders in Week 2. Golden caught both of his targets for 16 yards on a day where the Packers' passing game wasn't too busy in their 27-13 victory over the Lions. Quarterback Jordan Love only needed 22 pass attempts to dispatch Detroit, and it was more of the same dating back to the post-bye Packers from 2024 as they opted to run the ball more than pass. The lack of passing volume from Green Bay hampers the upside of some of the passing game's weapons, like Golden. That said, Golden does have massive upside in this offense, and the Packers spent a first-round pick on his services, so Golden's offensive involvement will increase game by game. For fantasy, consider Golden an upside-laden flex play for Week 2.

    From RotoBaller

Romeo Doubs Sep 10 7:40pm ET
    Romeo Doubs

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs led the Packers in receiving yards in Week 1 and looks to help pace the Packers' wide receivers again as Green Bay hosts the Washington Commanders in Week 2. Doubs led the Packers with 68 receiving yards on just two catches; one being a 48-yard snag in the second quarter as the first of a two-play drive that led to a Jayden Reed touchdown. Doubs led the wide receivers in routes as he was on the field for 71 percent of Jordan Love's dropbacks. Still, Doubs is simply a low-end fantasy flex play with his production that is very boom or bust and hard to prognosticate in a given week.

    From RotoBaller

Tucker Kraft Sep 10 7:40pm ET
    Tucker Kraft

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft scored in Week 1 and looks to make it back-to-back scoring weeks as the Packers host the Washington Commanders in Week 2. Kraft scored on a 15-yard pass from quarterback Jordan Love to kick off the scoring for the Packers in Week 1. Other than that score, the 24-year-old only caught one more pass for one yard on an additional three targets. The Packers' pass-catchers are heavily reliant on touchdowns rather than target volume, but no pass-catcher saw the field and ran more routes than Kraft did with 92 percent route participation in Week 1. For Week 2 against the Commanders, Kraft is a decent TE1 fantasy play with the hopes that the Packers get pushed by the Commanders on the offensive end.

    From RotoBaller

Christian McCaffrey Sep 10 7:33pm ET
    Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (calf) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Fantasy Spin: McCaffrey had an outstanding Week 1 performance despite the injury and should be available this week even if he does not do much during practice. He will likely see a significant amount of touches with Brock Purdy injured and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

    From TheHuddle

Chris Brooks Sep 10 7:30pm ET
    Chris Brooks

Green Bay Packers running back Chris Brooks looks to build on his minor role within the team's offense as the Packers host the Washington Commanders in Week 2. Brooks played well in Green Bay's preseason games, and his status in the running back pecking order ahead of fellow back Emanuel Wilson remained true. While Brooks remains a clear and distant role player for the Packers, he did get much more work than Wilson did. If something happened to Josh Jacobs, it's fair to say Brooks' role would increase in what would likely be a split backfield with Wilson. Brooks' situational role keeps him firmly on waivers for Week 2.

    From RotoBaller

Jayden Reed Sep 10 7:30pm ET
    Jayden Reed

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (foot) did not practice on Monday but came off the injury report without a designation after two limited practices. He'll suit up for the Packers as they face the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football. Reed led Green Bay in targets with five and scored a touchdown on three catches for 45 yards. As a slot-only receiver, Reed rarely gets the chance to play on the outside in anything but 11 personnel. He's been a frustrating player to roster in fantasy since the second half of 2024, so that's why it's tough to trust Reed as anything more than a flex play despite an excellent matchup against the Commanders.

    From RotoBaller

Harrison Smith Sep 10 7:23pm ET
    Harrison Smith

Minnesota Vikings LB Blake Cashman (hamstring), RB Ty Chandler (knee), C Ryan Kelly (toe), TE Josh Oliver (ankle) and LB Andrew Van Ginkel (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 10. WR Myles Price (knee) and S Harrison Smith (illness) were limited during practice. OT Christian Darrisaw (knee), WR Jalen Nailor (hand), RB Zavier Scott (ankle) and DE Elijah Williams (hamstring) fully participated in practice.

    From TheHuddle

Jordan Love Sep 10 7:20pm ET
    Jordan Love

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is a low-end quarterback streamer for Thursday Night's Week 2 matchup against the Washington Commanders. As fantasy football's QB17 in Week 1, Love only had 22 pass attempts during Green Bay's 27-13 win over the Detroit Lions. He didn't have to do a lot of heavy lifting, but still threw two touchdown passes while falling just short of 200 yards passing. After the Packers' Week 10 bye, Green Bay was a very run-focused team where Love played game manager, which wasn't great for fantasy. The Packers looked like a Super Bowl contender on the defensive side of the ball in Week 1, which doesn't bode well for fantasy production if opposing teams are not pushing them. Love can be treated as a QB2 in Superflex formats and a low-end streamer in single-quarterback leagues for Week 2.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Jacobs Sep 10 7:20pm ET
    Josh Jacobs

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs looks to build off a solid Week 1 performance in his Week 2 matchup at home against the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night. Jacobs scored a touchdown and took 19 totes for 66 yards on the ground with a catch for yards through the air. It was a typical line for Jacobs, who has been a touchdown-scoring machine for the Packers since last season's Week 10 bye, having scored at least one rushing touchdown in every game since. He's one of the most dependable fantasy running backs in the league with volume and production on what looks like one of the best teams in the NFL. Jacobs is an easy RB1 for Week 2's matchup with Washington, with his typical volume as he looks to make it 10 straight regular-season games with a rushing touchdown.
