Jalen Hurts Jan 12 8:20pm CT
    Jalen Hurts

The Green Bay Packers defense and special teams unit were not very productive during the Packers' 22-10 loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon. The Packers had a tall task in defending the carousel of offensive weapons the Eagles throw out on a weekly basis, but in holding A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith to a combined five catches for 65 yards, they gave up two touchdowns to less-heralded Eagles players like Dallas Goedert and Jahan Dotson. The Packers did not force any turnovers and could only sack Jalen Hurts twice. The Packers have a lot of youth on their side and under the direction of defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, they're an upside D/ST unit for 2025 fantasy leagues.

Mike Tomlin Jan 12 8:20pm CT
    Mike Tomlin

According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Pittsburgh Steelers are not planning to move on from Mike Tomlin. Tomlin signed a three-year contract extension before the start of the 2024 season, which will keep him under contract through 2027. Despite losing their sixth consecutive playoff game, the front office still believes they can improve their roster through other motives and not with a new voice in the locker room. This season, the Steelers finished with a 10-7 record, which was the second-best in the AFC North. Their offense averaged the tenth-fewest total yards per game (319.7) and allowed the 12th-fewest total yards per game (326.7). Tomlin has led the Steelers to 16 straight, non-losing seasons while being the head coach. While the Steelers will not look for a new head coach, they will need to make a decision on the future of their QB room as both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are set to enter free agency following the conclusion of the 2024 season.

Tucker Kraft Jan 12 8:20pm CT
    Tucker Kraft

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has a solid outing during the Packers' 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon. Kraft caught all five of his targets from quarterback Jordan Love and parlayed them in 26 yards receiving. Also displaying some of the versatility from the end of the regular season, Kraft also took two direct snaps for 10 yards rushing. After a rookie season that saw Kraft get some time on the field later in the season with an injury to Luke Musgrave, an early-season injury to Musgrave before Week 1 this season led to Kraft being a major contributor in the Packers offense in his second campaign. Kraft put up 50 receptions for 707 yards and seven touchdowns to finish as a top-10 fantasy tight end. For 2025 fantasy leagues, Kraft should be a starting tight end option in a majority of fantasy leagues.

Jayden Reed Jan 12 8:10pm CT
    Jayden Reed

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (shoulder) suffered an injury that caused him to leave the game during the tail end of the third quarter and not return for the rest of the Packers' 22-10 defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles. Reed took a hard hit after hauling in a 13-yard reception and was ruled questionable to return but ended up not playing another snap for the Packers in their loss. Before exiting the game, Reed caught all four targets for 46 yards which ended up leading the Packers in receiving yards on the afternoon. Reed's production hit a massive snag during the second half of the regular season, and it looked like the Packers were involving him more in the passing game before his untimely exit. Leading the Packers in receiving yards with 857, Reed also hauled in a team-leading 55 receptions in 2024. Reed should be a solid fantasy receiver with upside for 2025 fantasy leagues.

Justin Fields Jan 12 8:10pm CT
    Justin Fields

According to Mike DeFabo of The Athletic, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is non-committal on the state of the Steelers quarterback room. DeFabo noted that when asked about the state of the position following their playoff loss, Tomlin declined to discuss the team's future. With both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields set to hit free agency, the Steelers will have several options on how to pencil in their QB1 entering the 2025 campaign. Wilson was battling a calf injury early in the season, allowing Field to start the first six games. Across these games, Fields performed well, averaging a strong 21.4 PPR points per game. Wilson then operated as the QB1 for the remainder of the season and led them to the playoffs. However, their playoff bid was cut short after losing 28-14 to their division rival Baltimore Ravens on Saturday evening. In this game, Wilson went 20-for-29 with 270 yards and two scores. Fantasy managers should continue closely monitoring this situation throughout the offseason as both Wilson and Fields flashed upside while starting under center.

Jordan Love Jan 12 8:00pm CT
    Jordan Love

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love put up a lackluster performance at one of the most inopportune times during the Packers' 22-10 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon. Love was 20-of-33 passing for 212 yards but threw three interceptions that potentially took points off the board when points were at a premium all game. The first came on a deep shot to Dontayvion, the second an ill-advised throw down the middle with Zack Baun in perfect position to make the pick. The third sealed the game late in the fourth quarter. Love also added 10 yards on two rushing attempts but overall, this was a disappointing outing. With Love entering his sixth season, Love will be a fringe starting fantasy quarterback for 2025.

Josh Jacobs Jan 12 7:50pm CT
    Josh Jacobs

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs maintained his stellar production into the postseason despite the Packers' 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles during the Wild-Card round. Jacobs was the main cog in the Packers' offensive attack as he carried the ball 18 times for 81 yards, including a fourth-quarter touchdown that gave the Packers their only touchdown of the afternoon. He also caught all three of his targets for 40 yards as a safety valve for quarterback Jordan Love. In his first season as a Packer, Jacobs was a massive success with over 1,300 rushing yards and 16 total touchdowns on the season. Jacobs will be a highly-drafted running back in 2025 fantasy leagues in this Packers' system that feeds him the ball.

Romeo Doubs Jan 12 7:30pm CT
    Romeo Doubs

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion) left the game and did not return during the third quarter of the Packers' 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Doubs hit his head on the ground when trying to make a catch in the end zone on a deep shot from quarterback Jordan Love. Doubs was ruled questionable to return, but he never re-entered Sunday's contest. Prior to his departure, Doubs caught both of his targets for 13 yards on the afternoon. Heading into the final season of his rookie contract, Doubs tallied 46 receptions, 601 receiving yards, and four touchdowns this season. He should remain an integral part of the Packers' passing game in 2025.

Thomas Brown Jan 12 6:30pm CT
    Thomas Brown

According to Adam Schefter, the Chicago Bears have completed their interview with Ron Rivera for the head coach opening. The Bears interviewed several names for the opening job, including Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, former Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady, and Arizona Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing. The Bears fired former head coach Matt Eberflus following their 4-8 start. Thomas Brown served as the interim coach for the remainder of the season. The Bears had a disappointing season as they finished with a 5-12 record and averaged just 284.6 total yards per game, which was the lowest in the sport. On defense, they allowed the sixth-most total yards per game. In addition, rookie quarterback Caleb Williams was sacked 68 times, the most in the NFL. Ron Rivera's last head coaching gig was with Washington, leading them to an overall 26-40-1 record and a 2020 NFC East Title.

Jamel Dean Jan 12 6:10pm CT
    Jamel Dean

According to the team, Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (knee) and defensive back Jamel Dean (knee) are both active for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders. Both defensive backs were able to log full practice sessions on Friday, which put them in a good position to suit up. Winfield has missed the previous four games while Dean just missed Week 18. Winfield has tallied 60 tackles and two sacks across nine games, while Dean has tallied 59 tackles, seven deflections, and an interception across 12 games. Both will be deployed as key starters in this contest.

    From RotoBaller

Logan Hall Jan 12 6:10pm CT
    Logan Hall

According to the team, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Logan Hall (groin) is active for Sunday's wild-card game against the Washington Commanders. The defensive end was listed as questionable for Sunday's game and was in danger of missing his first game since Week 1. Across 16 contests, the 24-year-old has tallied 28 tackles (17 solo) with 5.5 sacks. Hall will see his typical workload as a starter on the Tampa defensive line.

Jayden Reed Jan 12 6:10pm CT
    Jayden Reed

According to Lauren Helmbrecht, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (shoulder) and Romeo Doubs (concussion) are both questionable to return to Sunday's wild-card game. Both sustained these injuries during the second half. Doubs suffered a concussion earlier this season and had to miss two games. With Christian Watson (knee) already out for the season, this leaves Dontayvion Wicks, Bo Melton, and Tucker Kraft as Jordan Love's lone pass catchers. Reed was leading the team in receiving yards (46) before leaving, while Doubs had tallied 23.

Jamison Crowder Jan 12 6:00pm CT
    Jamison Crowder

According to the team, Washington Commanders wide receiver Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is officially active for Sunday's wild-card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The veteran wideout was a limited participant during practice this week and carried a questionable tag into the weekend. However, Crowder turned the corner and will suit up on Sunday night. Over his past four games, Crowder has been deployed as a depth receiver, seeing just three targets per game. However, in Week 16, he caught two touchdowns. He should be viewed as a high-risk, value play in DFS this evening, as he may only see a handful of targets in this contest.

    From RotoBaller

Cade Otton Jan 12 6:00pm CT
    Cade Otton

According to the team, Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton (knee) is officially active for Sunday's wild-card game against the Washington Commanders. Otton has missed the previous three contests due to a knee injury. During the week, Otton was able to log two full sessions, which put him in a good position to return this evening. Fantasy managers should expect the 25-year-old to return to his typical role at the top of the depth chart. Over his previous five games, he has seen five targets per game and averaged 35.8 yards per game. Otton is worth a look as a high-floor play in DFS.

Khalil Mack Jan 12 5:30pm CT
    Khalil Mack

According to Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team, Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Khalil Mack is considering retirement. Mack is set to become a free agent at the end of the season and has been one of the top pass rushers over the past decade. Mack was drafted with the fifth overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. He spent four years with the Raiders before moving to Chicago, where he called home for the next four seasons. He then joined the Chargers, where he spent the past three seasons of his career. This season, the 33-year-old tallied 39 tackles and six sacks across 16 games. Overall, Mack has tallied 107.5 sacks and 630 tackles across his 11-season NFL career.

Khalil Shakir Jan 12 5:10pm CT
    Khalil Shakir

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir caught all six of his targets for 61 yards in the team's 31-7 win over the Denver Broncos in the opening round of the postseason. It's the first time since Week 7 that Shakir secured all his targets and the sixth time this season. He led the Bills in receptions and targets but trailed Curtis Samuel (68) in yards thanks to a long completion to the latter. Shakir remains Josh Allen's favorite receiver and should be heavily involved when the Bills host the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional round next weekend.

    From RotoBaller

Ty Johnson Jan 12 5:10pm CT
    Ty Johnson

Buffalo Bills running back Ty Johnson rushed nine times for 44 yards and caught two passes for 26 yards and a touchdown in the team's 31-7 victory over the Denver Broncos to advance to the Divisional round. Johnson was the second running back to get a touch (behind James Cook) and was called upon more often after rookie Ray Davis suffered a concussion and couldn't finish the game. Johnson's highlight play came on a fourth-and-one from Denver's 24-yard line late in the third quarter. Josh Allen kept the play alive and found the 27-year-old for a sliding catch in the back of the endzone. Johnson's involvement next weekend could depend on Davis' health.

    From RotoBaller

Curtis Samuel Jan 12 5:10pm CT
    Curtis Samuel

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Curtis Samuel caught three passes for 68 yards and a touchdown in the team's dominant win over the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card matchup. Samuel wasn't heavily involved (three targets) but led Buffalo in receiving yards thanks to a long catch-and-run in the fourth quarter. Already ahead two touchdowns entering the final frame, Josh Allen found Samuel for a 55-yard score on the quarter's first play to cement Buffalo's victory. Samuel doesn't hold much value the way Allen shares the love in the passing game. He was one of five receivers to earn three targets, which only trailed Khalil Shakir's six.

    From RotoBaller

Dalton Kincaid Jan 12 5:10pm CT
    Dalton Kincaid

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid caught all three of his targets for 47 yards in the team's 31-7 win over the Denver Broncos in the first round of the postseason. A large chunk of Kincaid's yards came on a 35-yard strike from Josh Allen midway through the fourth quarter. That was the longest reception of Kincaid's season. The 25-year-old has caught three or fewer passes in seven of 14 games this season. He and other Buffalo pass catchers are difficult to trust with how Allen spreads the football around in the passing game. Kincaid and the Bills host the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional round next weekend.

Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles CB Darius Slay (elbow) has been able to return to the Wild Card playoff game after missing some time because of his elbow injury.
