    T.J. Hockenson Dec 27 4:50pm CT
    T.J. Hockenson

Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson will get a vulnerable Week 17 meeting with his division-rival Green Bay Packers. The Iowa product produced another low catch and yardage total in Week 16 (2/27) but picked up at least five targets for the sixth time in eight games since his return from injury. Hockenson looked like he might be rounding into form early in his return but has mostly taken a backseat to wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison as QB Sam Darnold's preferred targets. However, he'll square off with an exploitable Packers defense this Sunday that's afforded tight ends 13.4 fantasy points per game this season -; the eleventh-most in the league. Until he picks it up, the 27-year-old is better viewed as a back-end TE1. He ranks as RotoBaller's PPR TE8 ahead of Week 17's slate.

Devon Achane Dec 27 4:50pm CT
    Devon Achane

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane looks to continue fantasy dominance in the championship week. The 23-year-old has been one of the most consistent running backs all season and is one of, if not the most essential piece in Miami's offense in 2024. Week 17 proposes a matchup with a Cleveland Browns defense that has been primarily stout against opposing running backs. They rank ninth in fantasy points, 12th in rushing yards, and third in receiving yards per game to the position. However, the conditions for this game are less than ideal, with a 50% chance of rain and projected wind gusts of 25+ mph at kickoff in Cleveland, Ohio. This should mean more opportunities for Achane to combat the harsh conditions. He should be started and considered a solid RB1 option, as usual. He comes in as the RB9 in the Week 16 RotoBaller rankings.

Christian Watson Dec 27 4:50pm CT
    Christian Watson

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) did not take part in any of the team's three practices from Wednesday through Friday this week but is questionable to play in a big Week 17 divisional contest on the road against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Not only is Watson on the wrong side of questionable after not practicing all week, but he becomes even harder to rely on for fantasy purposes this weekend with the Packers not kicking off until the later slate on Sunday. Despite not practicing all week, head coach Matt LaFleur said the door is "still open" for Watson to play. The oft-injured third-year wideout suffered a knee bruise in Monday's win over the New Orleans Saints. If Watson is available against the Vikes, he'll be at risk of seeing fewer snaps. For a guy that hasn't been a top-50 fantasy receiver in 2024, it's probably just best to avoid him in fantasy with everything on the line.

    From RotoBaller

Tony Pollard Dec 27 4:40pm CT
    Tony Pollard

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard (ankle) was unable to practice all week but is listed as questionable to play on Sunday in Week 17 against the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars. Pollard also did not practice all of last week before drawing a questionable tag. He eventually was active in the Week 16 loss to the division-rival Indianapolis Colts and played a season-low 39% of the offensive snaps while seeing only 11 touches for 40 scrimmage yards. The week before in the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Pollard played just 44% of the offensive snaps. Pollard's workload is clearly being monitored late in the year with him banged up and the Titans out of the playoff picture. If he's active this weekend against the Jaguars, he'll be at risk of losing more work to Tyjae Spears, making him a shaky RB3/flex in fantasy despite the excellent matchup against a bad Jaguars defense.

    From RotoBaller

Jordan Addison Dec 27 4:40pm CT
    Jordan Addison

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison will get a staunch test this Sunday in the visiting Green Bay Packers. Addison reached just 35 yards in Week 16 but caught five passes and reeled in a touchdown -; the seventh in his last eight appearances. He also commanded another eight targets, the fifth time he's registered at least that many in six contests. The 22-year-old has really turned it on in the second half and could still set career highs across the board over the final few weeks despite missing two games earlier in the year with an ankle injury. His team will line up for a rematch with the Packers in Week 17 that's been stout on the back end -- letting up the ninth-fewest passing yards per game in the NFL (209.7). Fortunately, Green Bay will likely be without defensive back Jaire Alexander (knee), and Addison should be afforded open looks, with teammate Justin Jefferson drawing plenty of attention. He comes in at RotoBaller's PPR WR22 in this week's rankings.

    From RotoBaller

Tyler Boyd Dec 27 4:40pm CT
    Tyler Boyd

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Tyler Boyd (foot) was unable to practice all week but is considered questionable to play on Sunday in a divisional clash versus the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17. In addition to Boyd, receiver Colton Dowell (knee) is out and receiver Bryce Oliver (knee) is questionable. The Titans played running back Tony Pollard (ankle) after he missed all three days of practice last week, but that doesn't mean the team will do the same with Boyd this weekend. Even if the 30-year-old pass-catcher suits up on Sunday, he should be avoided by fantasy managers playing for a championship in Week 17. The matchup against Jacksonville is an excellent one, but Boyd would still have very little upside with quarterback Mason Rudolph running the offense. Boyd is still searching for his first touchdown of the year and has only 376 receiving yards in 15 games in 2024.

    From RotoBaller

Aaron Jones Dec 27 4:30pm CT
    Aaron Jones

Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones will square off against an exploitable Green Bay Packers defense at home in Week 17. The eighth-year veteran will line up with his former team for the second time this Sunday. In their first meeting, Jones scored a strong 17.9 fantasy points despite nary a trip to the end zone. His target totals have come down from earlier this season with the emergence of wide receiver Jordan Addison over the last few weeks. Still, the 30-year-old is averaging a healthy 18.3 touches per game. Green Bay has been a chore for opposing passing attacks this season, but they've been more forgiving to fantasy RBs. Although the Packers are affording their opponents the eighth-fewest rushing yards per game (102.5), they've allowed an average of 23.5 fantasy PPG to rushers -; a middle-of-the-road figure. Jones ranks as RotoBaller's PPR RB13 ahead of this week's slate of action.

    From RotoBaller

Tua Tagovailoa Dec 27 4:30pm CT
    Tua Tagovailoa

The Miami Dolphins have listed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (hip) as questionable for Week 17 against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday after he was limited in practice all week with a hip injury. Receivers Tyreek Hill (wrist) and Jaylen Waddle (knee) are both questionable as well, but all three are expected to be available this weekend as they look to keep their faint playoff hopes alive. Not only should Tagovailoa be able to play this weekend, but he should have his full complement of weapons on offense, giving him firm QB2 appeal for fantasy managers in superflex leagues. In the unlikely event that the 26-year-old signal-caller is unable to go, backup Tyler Huntley would step in under center. The Browns haven't been a great matchup for opposing QBs in fantasy by any means in 2024, while Tua is averaging 20.4 fantasy points per game, making him the QB14 in fantasy in that category.

    From RotoBaller

Justin Jefferson Dec 27 4:30pm CT
    Justin Jefferson

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is a high-end WR1 play in Week 17 despite a stiff test against the visiting Green Bay Packers. The former LSU Tiger has been the hottest wideout in football since Week 14, ranking as the overall WR1 and averaging 29.6 PPR points per game. Over that stretch, he's racked up a robust 349 yards and 27 receptions with five trips to the end zone -; as many as he had through his first six games this season. Green Bay presents as one of the sounder defensive units against the pass and is tied for the fewest fantasy points allowed per game to WRs (29.3). Still, Jefferson is the PPR WR2 on the season and went for 6/85/1 in the two squads' previous meeting in Week 4. Fire up the 25-year-old as RotoBaller's top wide receiver option in Week 17.

    From RotoBaller

Sam Darnold Dec 27 4:20pm CT
    Sam Darnold

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold gets a tough matchup on Sunday in a rematch with the Green Bay Packers. The USC product has been on a tear recently. Since tossing five INTs across Weeks 9 and 10, Darnold has compiled a 15:1 TD:INT ratio and averaged 272.5 passing yards per game. However, it wasn't a gauntlet of the league's most formidable defensive units. The 27-year-old will get an actual test in Week 17 against a Packers squad, allowing the ninth-fewest passing yards per game (209.7). Green Bay has been staunch against fantasy QBs in 2024 -; letting up the third-lowest fantasy point total per outing in the league (15.4). Still, the veteran is amid a career year and threw three TDs in his last meeting with Green Bay in Week 4. He's again ranked amongst the top options at his position, landing as RotoBaller's QB6 for the season's penultimate week.

    From RotoBaller

Tyreek Hill Dec 27 4:20pm CT
    Tyreek Hill

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) was limited in practice all week and is officially questionable to play in Week 17 when the team heads to Cleveland to take on the Browns on Sunday. In addition to Hill, receivers Jaylen Waddle (knee) and Dee Eskridge (knee) are also questionable, so Malik Washington (knee) and River Cracraft could suddenly be much more involved this weekend if both Hill and Waddle are out. The 30-year-old Hill has been managing a wrist injury all year but hasn't missed any games because of it, so we're pretty positive he's on the right side of questionable this weekend. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (hip) is also questionable, but Tua, Hill and Waddle are expected to be active. Fantasy managers will want to verify that the Cheetah is active on Sunday, but if he is, he'll be a must-start in lineups against a Browns defense that has allowed the second-most half-PPR points to wideouts this year.

    From RotoBaller

Davante Adams Dec 27 4:10pm CT
    Davante Adams

New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams (hip) is listed as questionable for the Week 17 game against the division-rival Buffalo Bills on Sunday, but he said he's "optimistic" about his chances of suiting up. Adams didn't practice at all on Wednesday or Thursday but returned to a limited session on Friday and appears to be on the right side of questionable. As things stand now, fantasy managers should be planning to leave the All-Pro veteran wideout in their starting lineups for championship weekend in most leagues. The 32-year-old has seen at least 11 targets in six of his last seven games and should remain quarterback Aaron Rodgers' favorite weapon in the passing game this weekend if he's active. On top of his heavy target share in the Jets' offense, the Bills defense has allowed the most half-PPR fantasy points to wideouts in the last five weeks. Adams is a must-start in fantasy if he's active.

    From RotoBaller

Quinnen Williams Dec 27 4:10pm CT
    Quinnen Williams

New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner (hamstring) and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams (hamstring) are both questionable to play on Sunday against the division-rival Buffalo Bills in Week 17. ESPN New York's Rich Cimini writes that it's not looking good for Gardner to play after he missed practice all week. However, the Jets are hopeful that Williams can suit up after he was limited in practice from Wednesday to Friday. Gardner, one of the better lockdown corners in the league, injured his hamstring in the Week 16 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and isn't expected to be available as the Jets D looks to slow down Josh Allen and Company in Week 17. Williams, 27, missed last week's game but is trending in the right direction. It will be a huge boost for New York's defensive line, but the Jets defense/special teams should be avoided against Buffalo in fantasy.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Olave Dec 27 4:00pm CT
    Chris Olave

According to John Hendrix of Sports Illustrated, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Olave was able to log three consecutive full practices this week, which puts him in a good position to return to action. The top wideout has been sidelined since suffering his second concussion during their Week 9 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Fantasy managers should monitor his status on Saturday, as Olave will need to be activated off the injured list ahead of Sunday's game. Despite facing numerous injuries throughout the season, Olave tallied at least 80.0 yards in four of the six full games he played in this season. If Olave can return to action, he should be viewed as a decent flex option given that he is the lone proven option in this passing attack with Spencer Rattler under center.

    From RotoBaller

Marshon Lattimore Dec 27 3:50pm CT
    Marshon Lattimore

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Washington Commanders defensive back Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) will not play on Sunday evening against the Atlanta Falcons. After making his Washington debut in Week 15, Lattimore sustained another injury to his hamstring last weekend. Lattimore missed time earlier this season due to his hamstring and could be in danger for another multi-game absence. Through nine games this season, Lattimore has tallied 34 tackles (25 solo) with five pass deflections. While sidelined, fantasy managers should expect rookie Mike Sainristil to operate as the CB1, with Benjamin St-Juste moving up to the No.2 spot on the depth chart.

    From RotoBaller

Deshaun Watson Dec 27 3:40pm CT
    Deshaun Watson

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Cleveland Browns and quarterback Deshaun Watson have agreed to restructure his contract. As a result, this will provide the Browns more relief on their cap space over the remaining years of the deal. However, this move also suggests Watson will remain on the Browns next season. Since making his Browns debut in 2022, Watson has seen his production decline significantly compared to the start of his NFL career when he was a Houston Texan. Across 19 games, Watson has held a 19:12 TD:INT ratio and has lost five fumbles. This season, Watson made seven starts before suffering a season-ending Achilles injury. Across this stint, Watson averaged just 164.0 passing yards per game. If Watson enters the 2025 campaign as the QB1, he should remain a target in deeper Superflex leagues but not in 1QB formats.

    From RotoBaller

Tucker Kraft Dec 27 3:40pm CT
    Tucker Kraft

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (hip) is off the injury report and is looking to keep up his solid season as the Packers head into Minnesota to face off with the Vikings in Week 17. Following two limited practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, Kraft was a full participant in Friday's practice and will be active against the Vikings, who have been a middle-of-the-road team this season in defending tight ends. With two straight games under double-digit fantasy points, Kraft, the TE8 in fantasy on the season, looks to get back to being a solid receiving option for quarterback Jordan Love. With receiver Christian Watson (knee) questionable for Week 17, the passing game could condense a bit if Watson is out, so more targets could be available for Kraft. For fantasy purposes, Kraft is a low-end TE1 against the Vikings.

    From RotoBaller

Dontayvion Wicks Dec 27 3:40pm CT
    Dontayvion Wicks

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks should see his opportunities open quite a bit more as the Packers travel to U.S. Bank Stadium to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17. With Christian Watson (knee) questionable for the game, Wicks' value would be tied to Watson's availability. If Watson doesn't play, Wicks will be the primary outside receiver opposite Romeo Doubs and should run more routes than he typically does with Watson healthy. Wicks caught a touchdown pass in Week 16 against the New Orleans Saints and led the team with seven targets. The Vikings have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers, but even then, Wicks is a low-end flex option for fantasy no matter Watson's status for Week 17's game against the Vikings.

    From RotoBaller

Joe Flacco Dec 27 3:40pm CT
    Joe Flacco

With Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson (back, foot) in real danger of missing Sunday's matchup versus the Giants after missing practice all week, the team will turn back to Joe Flacco if the 22-year-old is ultimately ruled out. Flacco came on for an injured Richardson in Week 4 and made four additional starts for the team this season, completing 67% of his passes (113-for-170) with a 9:5 TD:INT during his time under center. Compared to Richardson's 48% completion rate and 8:12 TD:INT, the 39-year-old should provide a slight boost to the receiving corps, although the veteran does not pose a threat with his legs like A-Rich does. As such, that should also free up some goal-line work for Jonathan Taylor who broke out last week for 218 yards rushing and three scores. The Colts are eight-point favorites in this matchup and need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, while the Giants currently hold the No. 1 pick in the next draft and are probably better off losing. So look for Indy to try to limit mistakes and kill the clock by handing the ball off to Taylor, leaving Flacco as a low-end QB2 in Week 17 should he draw the start.

    From RotoBaller

Terry McLaurin Dec 27 3:40pm CT
    Terry McLaurin

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (ankle) is off the injury report and good to go for Sunday's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. McLaurin opened the week as a non-participant and was able to upgrade to limited participation the following day. This suggests that his ankle injury was not serious and should not be a concern this weekend. McLaurin is riding a four-game touchdown streak. During this stretch, he found the back of the end zone six times and averaged a strong 77.0 receiving yards per game. With No.2 wide receiver Dyami Brown (hamstring) ruled out, McLaurin could see a heavy workload in this game. Facing the Atlanta Falcons, who have allowed the third-most PPR points to opposing wideouts, makes him a must-start WR1 in all formats.
