Buffalo Bills wide receiver Joshua Palmer did not make an impact in Week 3's 31-21 win over the visiting Miami Dolphins, catching his lone target for a gain of five yards. The former Los Angeles Charger saw nine targets in Week 1, but has had minimal output since then, accounting for just three receptions over the prior two weeks. Furthermore, his snap share has diminished in each game, hitting a low in their matchup with the Dolphins (43%). For now, it appears Buffalo prefers fellow wideouts Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir in two-wide sets. Additionally, tight end Dalton Kincaid will siphon away his fair share of looks, making Palmer more of a low-floor WR5 option with modest upside in shootouts.
From RotoBaller
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. closed out Week 3's 41-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans, but did not factor into the game's outcome. The former Florida Gator took the field for the Colts' final drive, participating on his first seven plays of the season. He'd finish the contest with negative-one rushing yards on four carries, and nary a single pass attempt, as he was only utilized to hand the ball off, handle a rush, and kneel thrice to run the clock out. The 23-year-old could be a gold mine for fantasy, but he hasn't yet improved enough to be an efficient NFL passer. With teammate Daniel Jones balling out as Indy's starter, Richardson Sr. garners little fantasy appeal outside of a stash in superflex dynasty formats.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams rookie tight end Terrance Ferguson was a healthy scratch in Week 3. On his radio show, head coach Sean McVay said, "I think we've got tremendous depth at the tight end position." With veterans Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen, and Colby Parkinson all active, Ferguson has been completely phased out of the rotation. McVay did note that his confidence in the rookie has grown, but that hasn't translated into snaps. Unless the Rams trade a tight end at the deadline, Ferguson has no fantasy relevance and can be dropped in all redraft formats.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis has opened the season as the team's RB3. Through three games, he has logged just 10 carries for 26 yards, with most of that work coming in the Bills' blowout win over the New York Jets when the backups entered late. James Cook has been outstanding as the lead back, but the bigger issue for Davis is that veteran Ty Johnson has seized the RB2 role. Johnson has played 28% of the team's snaps compared to Davis's 15%, leaving the rookie buried on the depth chart. At this point, Davis's only path to fantasy relevance would be an injury to Cook, and even then, it's unclear if he would handle the majority of touches. He's safe to drop in most fantasy formats.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Jalen McMillan (neck) remains on the same recovery timeline. Head coach Todd Bowles said, "Timetable has not changed. We see him every day. He's doing fine, but we're just walking in the hallway." McMillan suffered a scary neck sprain in the preseason when a high pass from Teddy Bridgewater forced him to land awkwardly on his head. While there's still a chance he returns later in the year, his fantasy outlook for 2025 remains limited. With Chris Godwin healthy, rookie Emeka Egbuka emerging, and Mike Evans continuing his push to extend his 1,000-yard streak, McMillan projects as more of a WR4/role player when he's back on the field.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman has been quiet over the past two weeks. After an explosive Week 1 performance with eight catches for 112 yards and a touchdown, the second-year wideout has managed just three receptions for fewer than 25 yards in each of his last two outings. Part of the issue is Buffalo's offensive approach. The Bills currently lead the NFL in rushing yards per game (163), and their run-heavy game plan has minimized Coleman's fantasy impact. His snap share of 72% is close compared to rookie season, and the recent dip in production the past two weeks has hurt his value. Coleman draws the New Orleans Saints in Week 4, a defense that has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. An efficient bounce-back is possible, but given his recent trend, Coleman is best left on fantasy benches this week.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) isn't concerned about his availability for Week 4. Pearsall sat out Wednesday's practice with a knee issue, but the move appears precautionary, and he's expected to suit up against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The second-year receiver has been a breakout so far in 2025, posting 16 catches for 281 yards through three games. With quarterback Brock Purdy nearing a return (possibly this week), Pearsall could have his starting quarterback for just the second time this season. The Jaguars' defense has surrendered the sixth-most PPR fantasy points to wide receivers, with both Ja'Marr Chase and Nico Collins recording big outings against their secondary. Assuming he's ready to play, Pearsall should be considered a mid-range WR2 with upside, especially if Purdy is active.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (knee) was seen sprinting at practice as he works his way back from the torn ACL and MCL he suffered in Week 7 of last season against the Kansas City Chiefs. Aiyuk opened the year on the PUP list and has yet to be activated, but his progress suggests he's on track to return later this season. A full recovery is still a tough ask given the severity of the injury, but Aiyuk's presence would be a huge boost for both the 49ers' offense and fantasy managers. Over his last three seasons, he has averaged 11.6 half-PPR points per game, including a WR14 finish in 2023. While there's no firm timetable for activation, Aiyuk projects as a potential impact option once he's cleared to play.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has turned in back-to-back disappointing performances that included some big drops, which could have led to points. It appears that the reports about the improved chemistry between Harrison and Kyler Murray have been largely unfounded so far. He currently has a drop percentage of 11.8% compared to 4.3% in his rookie season, but Murray's passer rating is 105.5 when targeting Harrison compared to 87.0 last year. Week 4's matchup with the Seattle Seahawks doesn't provide any easier ways to put up fantasy points, though. Josh Jobe is likely to line up across from Harrison, and he's only allowed a catch rate of 45% with just 3.3 yards per target allowed as well. Harrison has a WR2 ceiling, but realistically hovers around the high-end WR3 area until he proves to be more consistent.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals kicker Chad Ryland should be viewed as a middle-of-the-pack kicking option when his team takes on the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday. So far this season, the Seahawks rank 10th against kickers, while Ryland is the No. 13 fantasy kicker, making Thursday an average matchup at best. The third-year kicker made 88% of his field goal attempts last season and is off to a solid 6-for-8 start this season, keeping him on the fringes of being a fantasy starter in deeper leagues. This week, however, managers should look for a stronger starting candidate.
From RotoBaller
Fantasy managers in need of a streaming wide receiver should look elsewhere rather than risk starting Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch, who is facing a horrible matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Not only has the Seattle defense allowed the second-fewest points to fantasy receivers, but the diminutive slot receiver has been a non-factor this season. Through three weeks, Dortch has only four catches on four targets for a meager 12 yards. Dortch is an effective special teamer, giving him some value in formats that score return yards, but he's not getting anywhere near enough volume on offense to be considered in standard formats.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride isn't leaving the elite tier of his position any time soon. We have plenty of evidence that Kyler Murray loves throwing the ball his way. In fact, he's currently on pace to see 136 targets which would be the second-most of his career after getting 147 last year. Now, he sets his sights on the Seattle Seahawks in the Thursday Night game, who are currently ranked 31st against opposing tight ends. RotoBaller's projections have McBride sitting at 17.3 fantasy points in PPR formats by grabbing around seven receptions for about 70 yards. Once again, this goes without saying, that McBride should be in all lineups regardless of format.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson should be left on benches and waiver wires when his team takes on a stingy Seattle Seahawks pass defense in Week 4. The third-year pro has a meager three catches for 22 yards in three weeks and now goes against a Seahawks defense that has allowed the second-fewest points to fantasy wide receivers. The Cardinals' passing game hasn't exactly lit it up this season, but tight end Trey McBride has been by far their top pass-catching option with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Wilson both ranking outside of the top 40 among fantasy receivers. Managers should have much better options than Wilson this week.
From RotoBaller
Things have changed in a major way for the Arizona Cardinals' backfield, but backup running back Emari Demercado should be viewed as a major streaming risk with his team playing the Seattle Seahawks on short rest. Arizona lost starting running back James Conner (ankle) for the season, which will likely thrust Trey Benson into a feature back role and give Demercado some touches, too. The third-year pro drew two rushing attempts and a target after Conner departed last week, which is nowhere near enough to be fantasy relevant. It's possible Demercado develops into a Justice-Hill-like role as a pass catcher this season, but managers should exercise caution until we've seen how the Cardinals move forward without Conner.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson will be thrown into the starting spot after a very unfortunate injury to James Conner (ankle) in Week 3. They already started to split more of the touches through three weeks than they did all last season, so this starting opportunity shouldn't be as much of a "shock to the system." In PPR formats, Benson averaged around 8.3 fantasy points per game through three weeks, which put him at RB34. He was quite efficient with the smaller workload, registering 6.0 yards per attempt. He even received 11 targets compared to six targets all of last year. The tough part is that the Seattle Seahawks are currently ranked as the seventh-toughest defense against the run and have given up the second-fewest points of any defense in the league. Benson's ceiling right now is a mid-level RB2, especially in PPR leagues.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has yet to register a QB1-level finish through the first three weeks of the season, and it doesn't get much easier heading into a short week before the Thursday night game. To make matters worse, Murray will be without his starting running back in James Conner (ankle), Zay Jones (concussion), and four different offensive linemen (two starters) are considered questionable for this matchup. The Cardinals have also lost their last five games against the Seattle Seahawks over the past couple of seasons, and they only scored a combined 24 points in the two outings last year. With that being said, Murray still has capable playmakers when they're not dropping passes, so he still has a high-level QB2 value.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker (quad) is progressing in his return from injury, but he remains in the week-to-week stage of his recovery, according to Joe Person of The Athletic. Coker injured his quad seemingly out of nowhere right after the news of Adam Thielen being traded to Minnesota and boosting his fantasy value. It seems the injury is taking more time than expected and will keep him out beyond the allotted four games for injured reserve. He is still a solid stash on injured reserve for the time being, but if you get crunched for a roster spot, then it is probably okay to cut him loose.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (knee) was listed as a DNP in Wednesday's practice, according to Daniel Popper of The Athletic. Dissly did not play in their Week 3 win over the Broncos, and that opened the door for rookie Oronde Gadsden to emerge and potentially become a big piece moving forward. Gadsden was active and saw playing time for the first time in his career, and he earned seven targets, catching five for 46 yards. Dissly's snap count is certainly in danger when he returns as head coach. Jim Harbaugh has already indicated that Gadsden will see more work. Dissly had a productive season last year, but he isn't as talented a receiver as Tyler Conklin and Gadsden. He likely won't have fantasy relevance anytime soon, and the injury doesn't help things.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee) was listed as a DNP in Wednesday's practice, according to Ben Standig. Brown missed Week 3's game against the Raiders after injuring his groin in Week 2 against the Packers. It was expected early last week that Brown wasn't going to be able to go, and his status for this week is very much in the air. Head coach Dan Quinn has often used Wednesday as a rest day for veterans, which he did here for a number of guys, but it's more likely that Brown missed due to injury than it was for a veteran rest day. Brown has had plenty of injuries throughout his career, including an injury to his kidney that ended his season last year. Brown shouldn't be on fantasy radars even if he were to suit up in Week 4 against Atlanta.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, according to Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram. The team did not practice on Wednesday, so participation for all players is an estimate. Njoku played 76% of the snaps on Sunday against the Packers and hauled in five of his seven targets for 40 yards. It's been a slower start to the season for the 29-year-old tight end, as he has failed to exceed 40 yards in any game so far. Last season, he was under 40 yards only four times in 11 games. Rookie Harold Fannin Jr. has stepped in and earned some volume, and now the offense has shifted to be a bit more run-heavy with rookie Quinshon Judkins. Njoku is still on the fringe TE1 line for Week 4 against Detroit, assuming he is good to suit up.
