Josh Jacobs Sep 18 5:20pm ET
    Josh Jacobs

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (ankle) was limited in a second straight practice this week on Thursday as he manages an ankle injury ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. If Jacobs is unable to practice in full on Friday, he could carry a questionable tag into the weekend. There haven't been any indications that the 27-year-old is in danger of missing Sunday's game, so for now, fantasy managers should leave him in their starting lineups. Tight end Tucker Kraft injured his knee in practice on Thursday, and if he's unable to play against Cleveland, the Packers could lean more on their ground game with Jacobs and backups Chris Brooks and Emanuel Wilson. Through the first two weeks in 2025, Jacobs is the RB11 in half-PPR scoring.

Xavier Worthy Sep 18 5:10pm ET
    Xavier Worthy

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (shoulder) remained in a limited capacity during Thursday's practice session. This was his second-straight limited practice. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status on Friday as he could be cleared to return for their Week 3 match against the Giants. After suffering a torn labrum on the opening possession of their season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers, Worthy was able to progress rather quickly and may only miss one contest. Worthy was in the mix to return last weekend but carried a doubtful tag before being ruled inactive. If Worthy can turn the corner in time for Sunday, fantasy managers should expect him to slot in as Kansas City's WR1. If he were to miss his second-straight game, Marquise Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Tyquan Thornton would operate as the team's top wideouts.

RJ Harvey Sep 18 5:10pm ET
    RJ Harvey

Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi said that rookie running back RJ Harvey "got confused with some of the terminology" and blocked on a play where he was supposed to get the ball, per Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports. For what it's worth, Stevens also relayed that Lombardi said the mistake was "not a recurring issue." Harvey has not seen a ton of involvement in the Denver offense through the first two games of his career, recording just 13 total touches so far. He's clearly behind veteran running back J.K. Dobbins, and Harvey may even be in an RB2 timeshare with Tyler Badie. Harvey should be stashed in a bench spot in all league formats for his upside, but he should not be counted on for consistent fantasy production in the short term.

Darnell Mooney Sep 18 5:10pm ET
    Darnell Mooney

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney (shoulder) was a full participant in Thursday's practice after he was listed as limited on Wednesday due to a shoulder injury, according to Tori McElhaney of AtlantaFalcons.com. Mooney's shoulder injury kept him from playing in the Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he was able to play in last week's win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night while playing a healthy 86 percent of the offensive snaps. The 27-year-old was targeted only four times, though, and caught two passes for 20 yards. The Falcons' offense didn't have to open up the passing attack in an easy win over Minnesota, so none of their pass-catchers had a good day. Mooney should be available in a Week 3 divisional matchup against the Carolina Panthers in another game in which he might not see much work. Fantasy managers should consider Mooney a low-upside WR4/flex in his second game of the year.

Brian Thomas Jr. Sep 18 5:00pm ET
    Brian Thomas Jr.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (wrist) logged a limited practice on Thursday. This is important to note as Thomas was able to participate in full during Wednesday's session. Following their Week 2 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, the former first-round pick was said to be battling a minor wrist injury. While he appeared to be past this injury following Wednesday's practice, he may still be dealing with some lingering effects. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status following Friday's practice, as he may be in danger of missing Sunday's game if he is unable to upgrade to full participation. The LSU product has had a disappointing start to the season, catching just five of his 19 targets for 60 yards. If he were to miss Sunday's contest, rookie Travis Hunter will likely see a significant workload in the passing attack.

Ladd McConkey Sep 18 5:00pm ET
    Ladd McConkey

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey (biceps) is back at practice on Thursday after missing the team's Wednesday practice due to a biceps injury, per Daniel Popper of The Athletic. It's not yet clear if McConkey was limited on Thursday or was able to practice in full, but it's a positive sign either way that he's trending in the right direction. McConkey and the rest of the Chargers' offense face a big test in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos. The second-year wideout has recorded 11 catches for 122 yards on 14 targets through the first two games of the season. Assuming he's able to play, McConkey profiles as a high-end fantasy WR2 in Week 3. If he's unable to suit up, Chargers wide receivers Keenan Allen and Quentin Johnston would both be in line for an uptick in target volume.

Kyle Pitts Sep 18 4:50pm ET
    Kyle Pitts

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. (toe) was added to the injury report on Thursday due to a toe injury. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status on Friday, as Pitts was a full participant on Wednesday. If Pitts is unable to log a full session on Friday, he may carry a designation into the weekend. Pitts has enjoyed a solid start to the campaign, catching 11 of his 13 targets for 96 yards. This is an excellent sign as Pitts caught just 47 passes for 602 yards in 2024, which were both the second-lowest marks of his career. If Pitts were to sit out on Sunday when the Falcons face the Carolina Panthers, fantasy managers should expect more targets to go to wide receivers Drake London and Darnell Mooney.

Brock Purdy Sep 18 4:50pm ET
    Brock Purdy

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe, shoulder) is practicing on Thursday, per Cam Inman of Bay Area News Group. Inman also relays that 49ers general manager John Lynch said the team is monitoring to see how Purdy's injured toe and shoulder respond to the practice reps. Purdy missed Week 2 due to his injuries. The expectation remains that Mac Jones will be the team's starting quarterback in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals. Still, it's encouraging to see that Purdy is making progress and could be on track for a relatively swift return. Jones played well in his first start for San Francisco last week against the New Orleans Saints, and he profiles as a low-end QB2 in Week 3 against Arizona.

Josh Downs Sep 18 4:40pm ET
    Josh Downs

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs (ankle) practiced in full on Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury. Downs appears to be on track to play in the team's Week 3 contest against the Tennessee Titans. Through two games, Downs has recorded eight catches for 63 yards on 11 targets. The 24-year-old appears to be behind both wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and tight end Tyler Warren in the pass-catching pecking order for Indianapolis, at least early in the season. Downs profiles as a fantasy WR4/5 in Week 3 with a relatively safe PPR floor but limited ceiling.

    From RotoBaller

Jaylen Waddle Sep 18 4:40pm ET
    Jaylen Waddle

According to Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (shoulder) is expected to play and be a "big factor" in their game plan against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday evening. Waddle was listed as a limited participant in their practice on Tuesday and remained in that capacity on Wednesday, which resulted in his questionable tag. However, it appears the wideout is turning the corner and should be in line to suit up. After a disappointing Week 1 showing where the former Alabama standout caught just four passes for 30 yards, Waddle bounced back in Week 2, bringing in five of his six targets for 68 yards and a touchdown. If Waddle can suit up, he should be viewed as a high-end WR3 in all formats. If he is unable to play, Malik Washington would move up to the No. 2 spot and carry value as a sleeper in DFS formats.

    From RotoBaller

Tyler Warren Sep 18 4:40pm ET
    Tyler Warren

Indianapolis Colts rookie tight end Tyler Warren (toe) was able to return to practice on Thursday in a limited capacity after missing Wednesday's practice with a toe injury. Warren's status for Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans is not yet known, but it's a good sign that he appears to be trending in the right direction. The 23-year-old has been a favorite target of Colts quarterback Daniel Jones so far. Through the first two games of the season. Warren has recorded 11 catches for 155 yards on 16 targets. As long as he's active, Warren is a must-start fantasy tight end in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Tucker Kraft Sep 18 4:30pm ET
    Tucker Kraft

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) suffered a knee injury during Thursday's practice, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Rapoport noted that Kraft will undergo a full evaluation, but the team believes it is not a long-term injury. Kraft has emerged as Jordan Love's top target in the passing game with Jayden Reed (collarbone) sidelined. In Week 2, Kraft enjoyed his breakout game during their victory over the Washington Commanders as he caught six of his seven targets for 124 yards and a score. In Week 1, Kraft caught two of his four targets for 16 yards and a touchdown. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status, as he would be a significant loss for the Green Bay offense. If he were to sit out on Sunday, rookie Matthew Golden, Dontayvion Wicks, and Romeo Doubs should see a larger target share. Luke Musgrave would move up the depth chart and serve as their TE1 and carry streaming appeal in deeper 14+ team formats.

Emeka Egbuka Sep 18 4:30pm ET
    Emeka Egbuka

Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (hip, groin) remained out of practice on Thursday, per Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com. This comes as a bit of a surprise, as earlier reporting indicated that Egbuka would practice in a limited capacity on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday. The 22-year-old is off to an excellent start to his NFL career, recording eight catches for 96 yards and two touchdowns through Tampa Bay's first two games. However, his status for Week 3 against the New York Jets now appears to be in doubt. If Egbuka is unable to play, Buccaneers wideouts Mike Evans and Sterling Shepard would both likely be in line for a bump in targets.

    From RotoBaller

Jauan Jennings Sep 18 4:20pm ET
    Jauan Jennings

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder) was not seen at practice on Thursday, according to The Athletic's Vic Tafur. Jennings is battling a shoulder injury he picked up in Week 1 and an ankle injury he suffered in Week 2 and did not practice on Wednesday. The 28-year-old was productive while playing through the injuries in Week 2, recording five catches for 89 yards and a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints. He's scheduled to face a banged-up Arizona Cardinals secondary in Week 3 and would profile as a low-end WR3/flex option if he's able to suit up. If Jennings is unable to play, 49ers wideout Ricky Pearsall would likely see a sizable increase in target volume against Arizona.

    From RotoBaller

Jeremy McNichols Sep 18 4:10pm ET
    Jeremy McNichols

Washington Commanders running back Jeremy McNichols (hamstring) practiced in full on Thursday after being limited in practice on Wednesday due to a hamstring injury. He appears to be on track to play in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders. McNichols has recorded four carries for 25 yards through the first two weeks of the season. However, he could be in for significantly more playing time in Washington now that Austin Ekeler (Achilles) will miss the remainder of the season. McNichols finished 2024 with 288 yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns, and the majority of his production came in the five games that Ekeler was unable to play. McNichols could be worth stashing in deeper leagues while the Commanders' new backfield mix takes shape.

    D'Andre Swift Sep 18 4:00pm ET
    D'Andre Swift

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (quadriceps) is dealing with a quad injury going into a Week 3 date with the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday and has put in two limited practices so far this week, according to Phillip Thompson of the Chicago Tribune. If Swift isn't a full-go in Friday's practice, he could head into Sunday with a questionable tag. The 26-year-old has been Chicago's clear RB1 through two weeks of the 2025 season, turning 29 carries into 116 yards (4.0 yards per tote) and a touchdown while adding six catches for 18 yards through the air. If he's able to play in Week 3 against what has been a porous Cowboys defense, Swift should be considered on the RB2/3 borderline in fantasy. If he is out or limited at all against Dallas, the Bears will use more of Roschon Johnson and rookie Kyle Monangai.

    From RotoBaller

Xavier Legette Sep 18 3:50pm ET
    Xavier Legette

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette (hamstring) was limited in practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday, according to Sheena Quick of FOX Sports. Legette came down with some hamstring soreness on Wednesday and was shut down, but the fact that he was able to participate at all on Thursday gives him a chance to play in Week 3 against the division-rival Atlanta Falcons. However, Legette may need a full practice on Friday to avoid going into Sunday with a questionable tag. Despite playing in 81 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 2 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Legette caught just one of his eight targets for a loss of two yards. Now dealing with an injury, the 24-year-old cannot be considered a very attractive flex play in fantasy lineups going into this weekend against Atlanta if he ends up playing.

Will Shipley Sep 18 2:40pm ET
    Will Shipley

Philadelphia Eagles running back Will Shipley (rib/oblique) returned to practice Thursday for the first time since suffering his Week 1 injury. The second-year back flashed in the opener with three carries for 26 yards, showcasing his big-play potential before exiting. While Shipley logged just 30 carries as a rookie, his role behind Saquon Barkley is expected to expand this season. If he can stay healthy, Shipley profiles as the primary change-of-pace option in Philadelphia's backfield and a valuable handcuff for fantasy managers rostering Barkley.

    From RotoBaller

Dallas Goedert Sep 18 2:40pm ET
    Dallas Goedert

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert practiced again Thursday, boosting his chances of suiting up against the Rams in Week 3. Goedert was sharp in the opener, hauling in all seven of his targets for 44 yards while serving as a reliable option in Jalen Hurts' short-to-intermediate passing attack. While his involvement in practice is encouraging, fantasy managers should still monitor his status heading into the weekend, as he remains officially questionable. If active, Goedert profiles as a steady TE1 option in PPR formats given his target volume.

    From RotoBaller

Kenneth Walker III Sep 18 2:30pm ET
    Kenneth Walker III

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III could be set for a big Week 3 performance against the Saints. He broke out for 105 yards and a touchdown on just 13 carries last week, though Zach Charbonnet actually led the team with 15 rushing attempts. With Charbonnet (foot) sidelined in practice and questionable for Sunday, Walker may be in line for a heavy workload. Facing a Saints defense ranked 18th against the run and giving up 111.5 yards per game, Walker profiles as a RB1 if Charbonnet is limited or out.
