    D.K. Metcalf Sep 28 1:20pm ET
    D.K. Metcalf

An 80-yard touchdown catch set up Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf for a nice fantasy performance Sunday against Minnesota, as he concluded his day with five catches for 126 yards and the aforementioned touchdown in a 24-21 win. The first-year Steeler drew only five targets, one fewer than running back Kenneth Gainwell, but did maximum damage with them, including the long touchdown in which he outran the Minnesota secondary. As Pittsburgh's top receiver, Metcalf should continue to be a solid fantasy WR2 after the Steelers' Week 5 bye.

Kenneth Gainwell Sep 28 1:10pm ET
    Kenneth Gainwell

With Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (knee) inactive on Sunday, Kenneth Gainwell performed well in the lead role, putting up 134 total yards and two touchdowns in a win against the Minnesota Vikings. Crucially, Gainwell was a highly involved pass catcher who saw a team-high six targets, all of which he caught, for 35 yards. He added 99 rushing yards on 19 carries and a pair of touchdowns, a well-rounded day for managers who made him a late addition to their starting lineups. But with Pittsburgh on a bye in Week 5 and Warren likely to be back, Gainwell will likely return to the No. 2 role when the Steelers are back in action.

Rhamondre Stevenson Sep 28 12:40pm ET
    Rhamondre Stevenson

New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson is warming up with the team's top offensive unit before the Week 4 contest against the visiting Carolina Panthers on Sunday, according to Boston Sports beat writer Alex Barth. Despite losing two crucial fumbles in last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, head coach Mike Vrabel said that Stevenson wouldn't lose playing time going into this weekend's game against Carolina. The fact that Stevenson is warming up with the starting offensive unit seems to support this. Stevenson could get the "start" against the Panthers, but it doesn't mean that rookie TreVeyon Henderson won't lead New England's backfield on Sunday, especially if Stevenson puts the ball on the ground again. Given his ball-security issues, Stevenson is an incredibly shaky RB3/flex option for fantasy managers in Week 4.

Adoree' Jackson Sep 28 12:30pm ET
    Adoree' Jackson

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Adoree' Jackson (groin) has officially been ruled out for the Week 4 clash against the hosting Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday with a groin injury. Jackson came into Sunday's game with a doubtful designation, so he was not expected to play in the first place. The 30-year-old was injured in the Week 3 win over the Los Angeles Rams, and his next chance to get on the field will come in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos. Jackson was limited in two practices this week, so he should have a good chance to return next week. With Jackson out against Tampa, Kelee Ringo will see more run in Philadelphia's secondary on Sunday against Baker Mayfield and Company.

Calvin Austin III Sep 28 12:30pm ET
    Calvin Austin III

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III (shoulder) injured his shoulder in the Week 4 game in Dublin, Ireland, on Sunday and is questionable to return, according to Brooke Pryor of ESPN. With the Steelers up two scores late in the fourth quarter, it's unlikely that Austin will return to this contest. The 26-year-old injured his shoulder after landing hard on it during a catch early in the fourth quarter. Before the injury, Austin had done very little for fantasy managers on Sunday, catching both of his targets for 13 yards. The good news for Austin is that the Steelers have their bye next week, so if his injury isn't serious, he should be able to suit up for the team's next game on Sunday, Oct. 12, against the division-rival Cleveland Browns at home.UPDATE: Austin was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game.

    A.J. Epenesa Sep 28 12:20pm ET
    A.J. Epenesa

Buffalo Bills linebacker A.J. Epenesa (pectoral), who was listed as questionable to play in Week 4, is officially active for Sunday's game against the visiting New Orleans Saints. However, offensive tackle Spencer Brown (calf) has been ruled out. The Bills will also be without linebacker Matt Milano (pectoral) and defensive tackle Ed Oliver (ankle), who were both ruled out on Friday. Epenesa was limited in practice all week, so it's not a big surprise that he's able to play this weekend. Buffalo's defense could feast against the 0-3 Saints in a game in which they are favored by over two touchdowns. The 27-year-old Epenesa comes into Week 4 action with three solo tackles and a fumble recovery through three games. He's not a starting option in IDP fantasy formats as a rotational pass-rusher.

The Philadelphia Eagles have declared QB Sam Howell, CB Adoree' Jackson, LB Azeez Ojulari, C Drew Kendall and WR Xavier Gipson inactive for Week 4.

Devaughn Vele Sep 28 12:00pm ET
    Devaughn Vele

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Devaughn Vele (hip) is officially active for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Buffalo Bills. He had been listed as questionable after logging three limited practices this week. The 27-year-old has merely occupied a depth role when healthy, catching two passes for 16 yards through two games, though he did add a touchdown. He and Trey Palmer will continue to compete for the No. 4 role behind established receivers Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and Brandin Cooks. Vele can be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues.

Derek Stingley Jr. Sep 28 12:00pm ET
    Derek Stingley Jr.

Houston Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. (oblique), who was questionable to play in Week 4 against the division-rival Tennessee Titans, is active on Sunday. Stingley did not practice on Wednesday but was limited on Thursday and Friday. The 24-year-old defensive back will be available in a strong matchup for Houston's defense/special teams unit against Titans rookie quarterback Cameron Ward. Through the first three games of 2025, Stingley has eight tackles and three pass breakups. Although the Texans D/ST hasn't been excellent for fantasy managers in the early going this year, they should be in starting lineups in all leagues this weekend against the 0-3 Titans.

    From RotoBaller

Dameon Pierce Sep 28 12:00pm ET
    Dameon Pierce

Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce and wide receiver Braxton Berrios are both healthy scratches for the Week 4 divisional clash against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Pierce hasn't been active since the Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, even with Joe Mixon (ankle, foot) still on the sidelines. It's pretty clear that rookie Woody Marks is the RB2 now behind veteran starter Nick Chubb. Dare Ogunbowale and British Brooks are active behind Chubb and Marks on Sunday. In Week 1, Pierce had just three carries for five yards and failed to catch his only target in the passing game. Berrios missed the first two weeks of the year with a hamstring injury but has now been a healthy scratch for two straight weeks for Houston.

Matt Milano Sep 28 11:53am ET
    Matt Milano

The Buffalo Bills have declared OT Spencer Brown, LB Matt Milano, CB Brandon Codrington, DL Ed Oliver, CB Ja'Marcus Ingram and DE Landon Jackson inactive for Week 4.

Chris Godwin Sep 28 11:53am ET
    Chris Godwin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (ankle) is active for Week 4's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Spin: Godwin fully participated in two of the Buccaneers' three practice sessions this week and had been listed as questionable on the injury report. Even though WR Mike Evans (hamstring) will be unavailable for this game, expect Godwin to receive a lighter workload than normal since he will be making his season debut this afternoon. Most fantasy players may want to wait at least one week before inserting Godwin into their starting lineups.

    From TheHuddle

Braxton Berrios Sep 28 11:53am ET
    Braxton Berrios

The Houston Texans have declared RB Dameon Pierce, LB Darrell Taylor, WR Braxton Berrios, OT Cam Robinson, S Zion Childress and QB Graham Mertz inactive for Week 4.

Chuba Hubbard Sep 28 11:50am ET
    Chuba Hubbard

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard (calf) is officially active for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the New England Patriots. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction entering this weekend. Hubbard will remain the primary running back in Carolina, looking to build on his solid ranking as the overall RB12 so far. He should continue to rank as a high-end RB2 with RB1 upside, but we wouldn't be surprised if Rico Dowdle carves out a role after handling 11 touches last weekend.

    From RotoBaller

Christian Gonzalez Sep 28 11:50am ET
    Christian Gonzalez

New England Patriots top cornerback Christian Gonzalez (hamstring) is inactive for the first time this year in the Week 4 matchup against the visiting Carolina Panthers. It's a big upgrade for the Patriots' defense as they look to slow down a Carolina offense that put up a 30-spot in a surprising Week 3 shutout of the Atlanta Falcons. The 23-year-old's return is definitely bad news for Panthers quarterback Bryce Young and rookie receiver Tetairoa McMillan, but it's also possible that his snaps will be limited after missing the first three weeks of the 2025 season. Fantasy managers in deep IDP formats should probably leave Gonzalez on their benches in his season debut.

    From RotoBaller

Tetairoa McMillan Sep 28 11:50am ET
    Tetairoa McMillan

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan (calf) is officially active for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the New England Patriots. He was listed as questionable after being limited in back-to-back practices. The rookie receiver has looked solid this season, catching 14 of his 27 targets for 216 yards while ranking as the overall WR31 in PPR leagues. He should continue to be started as a WR3/flex, especially against a Patriots defense allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. On a less favorable note, lockdown cornerback Christian Gonzalez (hamstring) is healthy for his season debut and could be tasked with covering McMillan, which would lower the rookie's floor.
