Tennessee Titans rookie running back Kalel Mullings (ankle) has officially been ruled out of Week 2 against the visiting Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Mullings made his NFL debut in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos as the RB3 behind Tony Pollard and Julius Chestnut, but was quickly injured in the first half on special teams. The 22-year-old sixth-rounder didn't see a single touch on offense in the 20-12 loss in Denver. With Tyjae Spears (ankle) on Injured Reserve and set to miss at least the first four weeks of the season, Tennessee's backfield depth behind Pollard and Chestnut is dangerously thin. Now that Mullings is out, the Titans were forced to bring up Jordan Mims from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the Rams. He'll operate as the team's No. 3 RB in Week 2.

New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Efton Chism III is once again a healthy scratch for Week 2 on Sunday versus the division-rival Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. Chism impressed the coaching staff in training camp and the preseason, but it wasn't enough to put him on the active game-day roster the first two weeks of 2025. The 23-year-old was an undrafted free agent and has more work to do to get on the field on Sundays in his first NFL season. For now, he's just a bench stash in deep dynasty/keeper fantasy leagues. At the moment, he's blocked by receivers Stefon Diggs, DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins, and Kyle Williams. If an injury arises to any of New England's receivers, Chism will likely be the first to benefit.

Detroit Lions running back Sione Vaki (hamstring) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Chicago Bears. He was limited in practice this week but was not expected to play after the Lions listed him as doubtful. The 24-year-old played in 16 games last year, totaling 51 scrimmage yards, but has not yet stepped on the field in his second pro campaign. Craig Reynolds will continue to operate as the Lions' No. 3 running back behind Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.
From RotoBaller
For the second straight week to begin the 2025 season, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jermaine Burton is a healthy inactive for the Week 2 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Burton had a pretty rough rookie season in 2024 that involved some maturity issues, but he got rave reviews during training camp in the summer. For now, though, Charlie Jones is ahead of him as the team's WR4 behind Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Andrei Iosivas. The 24-year-old former third-rounder caught four passes for 107 yards on 14 targets in 14 games in his rookie season. Burton isn't anywhere close to the fantasy radar in redraft leagues right now.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Jahdae Walker (ankle) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Detroit Lions. He had been listed as doubtful after missing practice on Friday. The 23-year-old did suit up in last week's season opener, but he only played on special teams. Chicago should have no trouble replacing him on special teams this week, and his absence has no impact on the Bears' offense or fantasy managers' lineups.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (ankle) is officially active for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. He had been listed as questionable after practicing in a limited capacity on Friday. Having Robinson available will be key for the Giants, as he's their second-best option in the passing game behind Malik Nabers. The 24-year-old was productive in last week's season opener, catching six of eight targets for 55 yards. He should continue to deliver similar productivity this week against the Cowboys, as the Giants are expected to throw the ball a lot while playing from behind. He ranks as a mid-range WR3/flex, especially in PPR leagues.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the New York Giants. The fifth-round rookie has now been a healthy scratch for each of the Cowboys' first two games of the season. In his absence, Miles Sanders will serve as the backup running back behind Javonte Williams. Sanders and Williams are the Cowboys' only two active running backs, but fullback Hunter Luepke should also see some blocking work in the backfield. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues should be patient with Blue and hold onto him, as it's likely only a matter of time before he's active as the No. 3 running back or leapfrogs Miles Sanders for the backup job.
From RotoBaller
The Buffalo Bills have declared CB Taron Johnson, OT Chase Lundt, CB Jordan Hancock, DL Ed Oliver, WR Curtis Samuel, LB Shaq Thompson and DE Landon Jackson inactive for Week 2.
From TheHuddle
The New York Jets have declared DT Jay Tufele, TE Jelani Woods, OT Esa Pole, WR Josh Reynolds, DE Tyler Baron and RB Kene Nwangwu inactive for Week 2.
From TheHuddle
Los Angeles Rams tight end Colby Parkinson (shoulder) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Tennessee Titans. He had been listed as doubtful after missing all three practices leading up to this weekend's game. Parkinson is working his way back from an AC joint sprain that he suffered last Sunday against the Houston Texans. Parkinson was actually able to finish last week's game after receiving medical attention, but evidently, the Rams aren't going to send him onto the field for Week 2. Terrance Ferguson is active for his NFL debut and will assist in filling Parkinson's void alongside a tight end committee that also features Tyler Higbee and Davis Allen. None of these Rams tight ends can be trusted in fantasy football, but Ferguson is an intriguing stash in dynasty leagues.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (shoulder) is officially active for Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints. Jennings had been listed as questionable, but there was increased optimism about his status heading into gameday. The shoulder issue limited Jennings to just 66 percent of the offensive snaps last Sunday as he caught two of five targets for 16 yards. This week, he'll be playing with a quarterback downgrade as Mac Jones steps in for the injured Brock Purdy (shoulder). Jones still has a solid arm, and a favorable matchup against the Saints bodes well for Jennings. Plus, the 49ers will also be without George Kittle (hamstring), creating several vacated targets that could go Jennings' way. He's a solid WR3/flex option this week.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins is slated to see 10-15 snaps in his NFL debut on Sunday. While Judkins was able to practice with the team leading up to this contest against the Ravens, it appears the Browns will closely monitor his workload in this game. Judkins was unable to play in the preseason and participate in training camp as he was facing domestic violence charges. While his prosecutors eventually dropped their charges, he could still face a suspension from the league. However, for now, Judkins should remain a key part of the Cleveland backfield. In Week 1, the Browns relied on fellow rookie Dylan Sampson and veteran Jerome Ford. With Judkins now returning, managers should expect Sampson to remain the lead option, with Judkins seeing a few opportunities in short-yardage situations. As a result, Sampson still holds flex appeal while Judkins is a touchdown-dependent high-risk RB3.

Updating previous reports, an MRI exam for Washington Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (Achilles) confirmed that he has suffered a torn Achilles tendon and will miss the remainder of the 2025 season.
Fantasy Spin: Ekeler sustained the injury during Week 2's game against the Green Bay Packers and will be supplanted by rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt as Washington's lead running back. Croskey-Merritt can be viewed as an RB3 with upside and should be added immediately in all fantasy leagues where he is still available. RB Jeremy McNichols is expected to move into the No. 2 role for the Commanders and can be viewed as an RB4 or RB5 option in most leagues, although RB Chris Rodriguez should see an increased number of offensive snaps as well going forward.
From TheHuddle
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (shoulder) is hoping to return next week when the Chiefs face the New York Giants. Rapoport noted that if Worthy can suit up, he would be playing with a torn labrum. However, the star wideout intends to wear a harness if he were to play. This week, Worthy was able to return to practice, which is an excellent sign that he is nearing a return. The second-year wideout suffered this injury during the opening possession of the first game of the season against the Chargers. As a rookie, Worthy flashed big-play upside in the Kansas City offense, totaling nine touchdowns with over 700 yards from scrimmage. This weekend, Marquise Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster figure to lead the passing attack.

The Baltimore Ravens planned to select quarterback Shedeur Sanders with their fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but once the quarterback heard about the Ravens' plans, he nixed the pick. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Sanders "let it be known to Baltimore that he didn't want to be on a roster with Lamar Jackson." The Ravens pivoted to offensive lineman Carson Vinson with the No. 141 pick, and Sanders landed with the Browns three selections later. Schefter's report seems to indicate that Sanders didn't have anything against Jackson in particular, and his concern was more about being stuck behind any quarterback who wasn't going to relinquish their starting role anytime soon. He likely would have had a similar reaction to being drafted by any team with an established starter, which is why Cleveland ended up being an ideal landing spot for him. While Joe Flacco is the Browns' starter for the time being, Sanders has a chance to start games later this season if Flacco struggles or Cleveland's playoff hopes are destroyed.
From RotoBaller
The Los Angeles Rams want to feature veteran wide receiver Davante Adams more often during Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Tennessee Titans. "Sean McVay was pleased with what the Rams accomplished in the passing game in Week 1, but getting Davante Adams a bit more involved will be a goal against [the] Titans," writes Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times. Adams finished his Rams debut with eight targets, four catches, and 51 yards. It was a fine showing for the veteran receiver, but certainly not on par with his full potential. Speaking with Klein, Adams said that he's trying to contribute however he can, and the number of targets he receives is not his concern. He noted that he thinks his and Puka Nacua's roles will vary week by week. If one player is having a big game, they'll command more attention from the defense, leaving the other receiver with opportunities to make plays happen in one-on-one coverage. As it stands, both players are strong WR2 options with WR1 upside.

Dynasty | Browns running back Quinshon Judkins has been activated and will make his debut this week. Dynasty Analysis: Judkins is still in hot water with the league over domestic violence allegations but the Browns will take what they can get at the moment. He'll slot in as a change of pace back behind Jerome Ford but Dylan Sampson was impressive last week and this backfield has the looks of a three-headed monster moving forward. Judkins is far off the lineup consideration list at the moment but we'll finally see just how his talent translates to the NFL this Sunday.
The Minnesota Vikings may decide to wait at least one more week before having S Harrison Smith (illness) return to action, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He had been listed as questionable on the injury report after being a limited participant in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week.
From TheHuddle
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (collarbone) is looking at a multiple month absence. According to Ian Rapoport, Reed was given a six-to-eight week timetable to return. Reed suffered a broken collarbone during the Week 2 win over the Washington Commanders. This timeframe means that Reed is likely out until some point in November. Fantasy managers can go ahead and place Reed on their IR if they haven't already. The good news is that Reed isn't going to be done for the season. His absence should mean increased roles for Romeo Doubs, Matthew Golden, and Tucker Kraft.
From RotoBaller
According to Adam Schefter, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (shoulder) is expected to suit up for the Week 2 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Jennings is currently listed as questionable, but it sounds like he's trending towards suiting up. He was tagged as a game-time decision on Saturday, but it sounds like he has improved overnight. The 49ers could certainly use Jennings on the field with George Kittle (hamstring) sidelined. Jennings will probably take a hit in value with Brock Purdy (toe) out. However, the 49ers are so limited on options that Jennings should remain a viable fantasy option even with Mac Jones under center.
