Cleveland Browns rookie fifth-round quarterback Shedeur Sanders said in an interview with ESPN Cleveland that he's "ready to play right now" and is "more capable" than other QBs in the league. Sanders is keeping a positive mindset on a daily basis despite being the No. 3 signal-caller on Cleveland's depth chart behind veteran Joe Flacco and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel. His father, former NFL legend Deion Sanders, recently said that he thinks his son will be starting for the Browns at some point this year despite falling to the fifth round in April's draft. Flacco has not impressed at all through three weeks, but Gabriel will almost certainly get the first shot at starting duties under center in Cleveland before Sanders does if the Browns eventually bench Flacco. The 23-year-old looked good during preseason action, but it was also against second- and third-stringers on defense.

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (knee) missed a second straight day of practice this week on Thursday, putting his availability in peril for a Week 4 road contest in New York against the winless Giants. Dissly also missed the Week 3 win over the Denver Broncos with his knee injury, so he'd be sitting out a second straight game if he's deemed inactive this weekend. The 29-year-old's absence last Sunday opened the door for rookie Oronde Gadsden to be active for the first time in his career, and he responded by catching five of seven targets for 46 yards. Gadsden is quickly gaining the trust of quarterback Justin Herbert and could be the Bolts' preferred pass-catching tight end in 2025 when it's all said and done. If Dissly misses a second straight game, Gadsden will have an elevated role once again while sharing snaps with Tyler Conklin.

Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins has been a "real good addition" for the team this year, head coach Sean Payton said. Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports writes that it's "clear" that Payton is a big fan of Dobbins, who has been the Broncos' clear RB1 through three weeks over rookie second-rounder RJ Harvey. Dobbins has seen double-digit carries in all three games of the year so far and has run for at least 63 yards each week. The 26-year-old has also scored on the ground in all three weeks. His best game so far came in the Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, as he ran for 83 yards and a score on a season-low 11 rushing attempts. He had nine more rushing attempts than Harvey last weekend and has outcarried the UCF product 41 to 13. Harvey has one more catch than Dobbins through three weeks. Dobbins isn't going away anytime soon, and he'll be in play as an RB2 in Week 4 in a plus matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Denver Broncos tight end Evan Engram (back) was listed as a full practice participant on Thursday, which is a great sign for his availability in a Week 4 matchup against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night, according to Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports. Engram missed practice all week before sitting out the Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, so it's a bit surprising to see him as a full-go for the first practice of the week. It's a good indication that the 31-year-old will end his one-game absence and play on Monday night in a strong matchup for TEs. The Bengals have allowed the fifth-most half-PPR points to the position through the first three weeks of 2025. Broncos head coach Sean Payton continues to say that Engram will be a big part of the offense this year, but fantasy managers want to see it to believe it in this struggling Denver offense. In two games, Engram has caught four of six targets for 33 yards.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. (toe) returned to a full practice on Thursday after he was limited on Wednesday, according to Tori McElhaney of AtlantaFalcons.com. Pitts was also dealing with a toe injury early last week, but he upgraded to full practice and was able to play in the Week 3 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The 24-year-old should be good to go as the Falcons look to bounce back in Week 4 against the Washington Commanders' suspect secondary after they were shut out by the Carolina Panthers last Sunday. Pitts has not found the end zone yet in 2025, but he's been consistently involved and has caught 15 of his 19 targets from quarterback Michael Penix Jr. for 135 yards. He should be considered a low-end TE1/high-end TE2 play for fantasy managers in a matchup against a Commanders defense that has allowed the ninth-most half-PPR points to TEs through three weeks.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) was officially a non-participant in Thursday's practice, the second straight day this week that he failed to practice. McLaurin injured his quad in the Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders and has received multiple medical opinions from specialists this week, a sign that he won't be available to play this Sunday against the hosting Atlanta Falcons. The 30-year-old will most certainly need to practice in some fashion on Friday to have a shot at suiting up in Week 4, but as of now, fantasy managers should consider McLaurin more doubtful than likely to play. Noah Brown (groin, knee) has yet to practice, too, after missing Week 3, so Washington could be down to Deebo Samuel Sr., Luke McCaffrey, and rookie Jaylin Lane this weekend. It's also unclear if quarterback Jayden Daniels will be able to return from a knee sprain he suffered in Week 2.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) was downgraded to a non-participant in Thursday's practice after he was a full practice participant on Wednesday. It's a reminder that although the Bucs are hopeful that Godwin will make his season debut in Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday, it's not guaranteed. The 29-year-old is still recovering from a dislocated left ankle that ended his 2024 season in Week 7. The fact that Godwin was able to practice in full on Wednesday is a good sign, but how much he's able to do on Friday will ultimately decide if Tampa will make him active this weekend against the reigning Super Bowl champions. The Bucs could certainly use Godwin back with Mike Evans (hamstring) out for at least a couple of weeks, but Godwin is expected to be eased into the offense whenever he returns. Sterling Shepard will be a better flex play than Godwin if Godwin is cleared to play on Sunday.

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) was listed as a limited participant in practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week. Daniels is making progress from a knee sprain that he suffered in the Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers, but he's up in the air to return this weekend for a road matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The 24-year-old was held out of the Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. If he is unable to upgrade to a full practice on Friday, Daniels will likely go into Sunday's contest with a questionable designation. The Commanders aren't going to rush the second-year signal-caller back onto the field, especially if his lateral movement is still compromised. If Daniels can return against Atlanta, fantasy managers will want to get him back into their starting lineups, even if he's without top wideout Terry McLaurin (quadriceps).

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) practiced in full on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday with a knee injury. By practicing in full on Thursday, Njoku would appear to be trending towards playing in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions. Njoku has recorded 12 catches for 117 yards on 18 targets through his first three games of 2025. The 29-year-old is still seeing steady playing time, but his target share has been limited due to the emergence of Browns' rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. Njoku profiles outside the top-12 for fantasy at the tight end position in Week 4, and both Browns tight ends are difficult for managers to trust as long as they share the field.

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cameron Ward (ankle/calf) was able to log a full practice on Thursday after being limited in practice on Wednesday. Ward's status is still worth monitoring heading into Friday, but he appears to be on track to play in Week 4 against the Houston Texans. Ward has struggled in the first three games of his NFL career, completing just 54.5% of his pass attempts for 506 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. The Texans' defense has been one of the best units in the league so far in 2025, so Ward could be in for another rough game on Sunday. Even in two-quarterback formats, Ward should be avoided by fantasy managers in Week 4.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) was able to return to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice with a knee injury, per David Lombardi of The San Francisco Standard. Pearsall appears to be trending towards playing in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 25-year-old has his best game of the season in Week 3, posting eight catches for 117 yards against the Arizona Cardinals. Pearsall has recorded 16 catches for 281 yards on 24 targets through his first three games of the season. Assuming he can play on Sunday, Pearsall profiles as a low-end fantasy WR2 in Week 4 against Jacksonville.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle/shoulder) was not able to practice for the second straight day on Thursday, per David Lombardi of The San Francisco Standard. Jennings was unable to play in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals and could be trending towards missing his team's Week 4 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars as well. Jennings has battled multiple injuries so far in 2025, dating back to training camp, but he recorded seven catches on 15 targets for 105 yards and a touchdown across the 49ers' first two games of the season. The 28-year-old's absence would likely mean an uptick in targets for wideout Ricky Pearsall (knee), who had 11 targets and eight catches against the Cardinals with Jennings sidelined in Week 3. If Jennings can return for Week 4, he profiles as a low-end fantasy WR3/flex option.

Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken said the team is hoping to get tight end Isaiah Likely (foot) back on the field in Week 4, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley. Likely underwent foot surgery in August and has yet to suit up in 2025. The 25-year-old recorded 42 catches for 477 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games (nine starts) in 2024. Likely will probably need a bit of a ramp-up period upon his return, so he may see a limited workload in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs even if he's active for the game. Still, Likely's presence could take targets away from Ravens tight end Mark Andrews, who recorded six catches for 91 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3. Once Likely is fully re-integrated into the offense, it may be tough for either Baltimore tight end to provide consistent top-12 fantasy production at the position.

Washington Commanders rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt (knee) was held out of practice with a knee injury for the second straight day on Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Croskey-Merritt has logged 22 carries for 125 yards and two touchdowns through his first three games of 2025. The 24-year-old's status for the team's Week 4 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons appears to be in doubt. Croskey-Merritt was part of a backfield committee for Washington in Week 3, splitting touches with running backs Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Jeremy McNichols. If Croskey-Merritt is sidelined against the Falcons, Rodriguez Jr. could be the primary early-down back with McNichols handling the majority of the passing-down work. Should Croskey-Merritt be active, he would profile as a low-end fantasy RB3/flex option.

Tennessee Titans tight ends coach Luke Stocker recently praised rookie tight end Gunnar Helm, calling his growth as a blocker "tremendous." A fourth-round pick out of Texas, Helm has logged six catches for 52 yards through the first three games of his NFL career. The 23-year-old remains firmly behind veteran Chig Okonkwo on Tennessee's tight end depth chart. Still, Helm may be slowly proving to his coaching staff that he's worthy of more snaps and a larger offensive role. Helm is not yet worth rostering in redraft fantasy leagues, but he's a name to monitor in deep leagues and could be a breakout candidate if Okonkwo were to suffer an injury.

Tennessee Titans wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert said that wide receiver Calvin Ridley is targeted more than any other receiver in practice and catches more balls than any player on the team, between JUGS work and targets in practice. Tolbert thinks more reps will get Ridley's confidence back after a tough start to the 2025 season. The 30-year-old veteran caught just one pass for 27 yards in the Week 3 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, and he has eight grabs on 21 targets for 111 scoreless yards through the first three weeks of 2025. The good news is that rookie quarterback Cameron Ward is targeting Ridley more than anyone else on the team, but it just hasn't resulted in much production so far. Ridley has struggled with drops, and it hasn't helped that the Titans have struggled to sustain drives. There could be more frustrating games as Ward finds his footing in the NFL. Ridley has become a boom/bust WR4/flex.

Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (groin) was a full-go in Thursday's practice, a day after being limited for the Bears. Kmet has done very little for fantasy managers through the first three weeks of the season, but he could end up being on the streaming radar in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders if rookie first-rounder Colston Loveland (hip) is unable to play. Loveland has yet to practice this week after suffering a hip injury in the Week 3 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Kmet has caught only four passes on seven targets for 70 yards on the year, but he caught his only target for a 10-yard touchdown last Sunday after Loveland left with his hip injury. The Raiders have not been a good matchup for opposing tight ends this year, as they've allowed only 5.5 half-PPR points to the position (fifth-fewest) through three games.

Chicago Bears rookie first-round tight end Colston Loveland (hip) missed a second straight day of practice this week on Thursday, putting his availability in serious doubt for a Week 4 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Loveland injured his hip in the second quarter of the Week 3 win over the Dallas Cowboys and did not return. It was believed that the 21-year-old avoided a serious injury, but if he's unable to return to practice on Friday, he'll probably be ruled out this weekend. Although Cole Kmet only caught one pass last Sunday, he made it count for his first touchdown of the year in the second half after Loveland departed the game. Before leaving against Dallas, Loveland caught one pass for a big 31-yard pickup, but he has only three catches for 43 yards on six targets in his first three NFL games. If he's out against Vegas, Kmet will be on the QB2 streaming radar.

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (hip) was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice for the second straight day this week with a hip injury. Swift will probably be able to play in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, but he might need a full practice on Friday to avoid going into the weekend with a questionable status. The 26-year-old is Chicago's clear RB1 through three weeks and is averaging 17 touches per game. Through the first three weeks of 2025, Swift has 42 rushing attempts for 149 yards (career-low 3.5 yards per carry) and one touchdown, adding nine receptions for 63 yards on 12 targets. The Raiders have been decent against opposing RBs so far this year, but Swift's volume alone puts him at least in the RB3/flex mix this weekend if he's active. If he does not play, the Bears would split backfield work among rookie Kyle Monangai and Roschon Johnson.
