Kimani Vidal Oct 10 10:00am ET
    Kimani Vidal

Los Angeles Chargers running back Kimani Vidal is expected to be part of a running back-by-committee approach in Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins. Vidal is expected to handle more of the pass-catching duties and third-down work in an offense that has been pass-happy so far in 2025, throwing 62.58% according to teamrankings.com. In leagues that are PPR, Vidal should carry a safer floor compared to Hassan Haskins, who is expected to have most of the early-down work and red zone carries. Most reports from Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman suggest that both Vidal and Haskins will be involved, so neither should be viewed or ranked that much higher than the other. The Chargers take on the Dolphins in Week 6, who are currently allowing the fifth most points to the running back position, which is why Vidal is offering some flex appeal in Week 6. Fantasy managers can start him in a pinch, but if they have other stronger options, start them.

Hassan Haskins Oct 10 9:50am ET
    Hassan Haskins

Los Angeles Chargers running back Hassan Haskins is expected to be part of a running back-by-committee approach in Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins. Haskins should see a lot of the early-down work and red-zone work, while second-year running back Kimani Vidal is expected to handle more of the pass-catching duties and third downs. The reason for all of this is that rookie running back Omarion Hampton (ankle) was injured in Week 5 and landed on the injured reserve and will now miss the next four games. Most reports from Jim Harbaugh and the offensive coordinator Greg Roman suggest that both will see work, and the only factor making Haskins a potential flex play in Week 6 is the matchup. The Dolphins have given up the fifth most points to the running back position. Just last week, they allowed 206 rushing yards to Rico Dowdle.

Matt Prater Oct 10 9:30am ET
    Matt Prater

Buffalo Bills veteran kicker Matt Prater continues to do excellent work filling in for Tyler Bass (hip/groin) and is now 10-for-11 on his field goal attempts and 15-for-15 on extra points this season. In Week 6, Prater will remain a strong fantasy kicking option, as the Falcons allow the fourth most fantasy points to kickers on the season. At this point, it's unclear if Prater will keep his job or not once Bass returns, but fantasy fanagers needing to stream a kicker in Week 6 should look Prater's way, as the matchup sets up nicely in a game that is expected to have some points, with an over/under of 50 points on most sportsbooks.

Ryan Flournoy Oct 10 9:20am ET
    Ryan Flournoy

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy splashed onto the scene in Week 5, seeing a team-high nine targets and hauling in six of them for 114 yards against the New York Jets. The production was a career high for the second-year receiver out of Southeast Missouri State. With star wideout CeeDee Lamb (ankle) still not practicing on Thursday, Flourney becomes a longshot option for fantasy managers in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers. In deeper leagues with multiple flex spots, he is worth a roster spot this week to see if he can continue to see some opportunities in the passing game; however, once CeeDee Lamb returns, he could likely go back to the waiver wire, as quarterback Dak Prescott will likely continue to lean on his other playmakers like Jake Ferguson and George Pickens over Flournoy.

Dallas Goedert Oct 10 1:13am ET
    Dallas Goedert

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert had 11 targets, nine receptions, 110 yards, and a touchdown against the New York Giants. Goedert set game-highs in all four of those categories.

Fantasy Spin: On a tough night for Philly, Goedert was a silver lining. Jalen Hurts looked his way early and often, allowing the tight end to set season highs in receptions, targets, and yards. He also scored for the fourth straight game, giving him five total touchdowns on the year. Prior to tonight, his yardage numbers have been disappointing, but when you're scoring as often as Goedert is you've earned a spot as a solid TE1.

    A.J. Brown Oct 10 12:40am ET
    A.J. Brown

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown caught six of his nine targets for 80 yards during Thursday's Week 6 loss to the New York Giants. Brown tied his season high in receptions and now has at least eight targets in five consecutive games. While his yardage has varied from week to week, and he still has just one touchdown this year, the star receiver appears to be trending in the right direction following his early-season frustrations. He should rank as a solid WR2 option for Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Dallas Goedert Oct 10 12:30am ET
    Dallas Goedert

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught nine of his 11 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown -- all team highs -- during Thursday night's loss to the New York Giants in Week 6. While the Eagles came up short, Goedert had his best game of the season. In fact, he has quietly emerged as one of the top tight ends in fantasy football, scoring double-digit points (PPR) in all five of his games. He has four consecutive games with a touchdown, finding the end zone a total of five times during that span. As players like A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith continue to deal with inconsistent roles, Goedert has emerged as one of Jalen Hurts' favorite targets. He's a solid mid-range TE1 option heading into Week 7 against Minnesota.

Jalen Hurts Oct 10 12:30am ET
    Jalen Hurts

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 24 of his 33 pass attempts for 283 yards, one touchdown, and one interception during Thursday's Week 6 loss to the New York Giants. He also added seven carries for 13 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. Hurts set a season high in passing yards but also threw his first turnover of the year -- both of which are somewhat expected when a low passing volume quarterback suddenly has to throw the ball 33 times. The Eagles have now lost two straight games, and some of Hurts' passing struggles could be a reason why. His schedule doesn't get any easier as he takes on a talented, well-coached Vikings defense in Week 7.

    Wan'Dale Robinson Oct 10 12:30am ET
    Wan'Dale Robinson

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson caught six of his seven targets for 84 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 6 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The 24-year-old has been tasked with taking on New York's No. 1 receiver role ever since Malik Nabers (knee) went down with a season-ending injury. Robinson struggled with his newfound volume in Weeks 4 and 5, and he also had to deal with a quarterback change from Russell Wilson to Jaxson Dart at the same time. He finally capitalized on the opportunity during Thursday's divisional win. He looks comfortable in his expanded role and can be deployed as a high-end WR3/flex in Week 7 against Denver.

    From RotoBaller

Jaxson Dart Oct 10 12:20am ET
    Jaxson Dart

New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart completed 17 of his 25 pass attempts for 195 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions during Thursday's upset victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. He also contributed on the ground, rushing the ball 13 times for an additional 58 yards and one touchdown. The rookie first-round pick played turnover-free football and took just two sacks for a loss of one yard total. While Dart's passing yardage was modest, he made an impact by limiting turnovers and using his legs to make plays. If he can find this level of success against a strong defense like the Eagles, his potential in the league is limitless. He's a QB2 with QB1 upside heading into another tricky matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Saquon Barkley Oct 10 12:13am ET
    Saquon Barkley

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley carried the ball 12 times for 58 yards in Week 6 against the New York Giants. He added nine yards on a pair of receptions.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley ripped off runs of 18 and 13 yards, respectively, on the game's first two plays, generating hope that we were finally going to see a breakout performance. Instead, he had just 10 more carries the rest of the night, accounting for 27 yards. It marks the fifth time in six games this season that Barkley has rushed for 60 yards or fewer. By comparison, Barkley had exactly one game below that mark last year. It's definitely not what fantasy owners were expecting for an encore after he rushed for 2,005 yards in 2024. There's nothing to be done right now other than hold onto Barkley and hope the extra rest helps get the offense back on track.

    From TheHuddle

Cam Skattebo Oct 10 12:10am ET
    Cam Skattebo

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo rushed 19 times for 98 yards and three touchdowns during Thursday's upset victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. He also caught each of his two targets, totaling 12 receiving yards. The rookie held onto his lead-back role despite Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder) returning to action. Between his large volume, high efficiency, and nose for the end zone, Skattebo has proven that he deserves to be the bell-cow running back in New York. He has established himself as a potential fantasy football league-winner and should rank as a fringe top-12 running back against the Broncos in Week 7.

Christian Watson Oct 9 9:50pm ET
    Christian Watson

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) was limited in practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Watson practiced for the first time this year on Wednesday after recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered in the Week 18 regular-season finale late last year. The Packers now have 21 days to officially activate the 26-year-old from the Physically Unable to Perform list. While Watson continues to make good progress, the Packers could exercise caution and continue to ease him into practices. Don't be surprised if he is held out of the Week 6 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. When Watson eventually returns, he'll likely be eased in as an explosive deep threat for quarterback Jordan Love. He deserves to be stashed in most fantasy leagues, but it could prove difficult to stand out in Green Bay's deep receiving corps, even with Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot) on Injured Reserve.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Rodriguez Jr. Oct 9 9:40pm ET
    Chris Rodriguez Jr.

Washington Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. (calf) was a notable addition to the team's Week 6 injury report due to a calf injury that kept him from taking part in the first practice of the week on Thursday. Rodriguez still has a couple of days to return to practice, but this puts his availability for Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears in question. If the 25-year-old cannot play this week, rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt could have a second straight heavy-volume day in the backfield. The Commanders had been using a committee backfield approach with Rodriguez, Croskey-Merritt, and Jeremy McNichols until the rookie took a season-high 14 carries for his first career 100-yard rushing day and two touchdowns in last week's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Rodriguez has seen his usage drop, going from 11 carries in his season debut in Week 3 against the Raiders to five carries on Sunday for just five yards.

    From RotoBaller

Miles Sanders Oct 9 9:30pm ET
    Miles Sanders

Dallas Cowboys running back Miles Sanders (ankle, knee) is firmly in danger of missing a second straight game in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday after he was downgraded to a non-participant in Thursday's practice. Sanders was limited in practice on Wednesday, so he's going in the wrong direction to be available this weekend after missing his first game of the year in the Week 5 win over the New York Jets with ankle and knee injuries. Javonte Williams has earned the workhorse RB role in Dallas with a strong start to the 2025 season, so Sanders has been the change-of-pace option behind him through four games played. If Sanders is forced to miss a second straight game, rookie Jaydon Blue would be active for just the second time this season. Blue only saw four carries for seven yards last week and wasn't targeted in the passing game. He may have a bigger role in Week 6 behind Williams if Sanders is out again, but it won't be enough to justify using him as a flex play in deep fantasy leagues.

    From RotoBaller

KaVontae Turpin Oct 9 9:30pm ET
    KaVontae Turpin

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver KaVontae Turpin (foot) missed another day of practice this week on Thursday, making it more unlikely that he'll return for the team's Week 6 contest on the road against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Turpin injured his foot in the Week 4 tie with the Green Bay Packers and has not practiced or played since. The 29-year-old will need to get back on the practice field on Friday to have a shot at suiting up this weekend, but he has already said that he doesn't expect to be out there. Turpin has taken on a bigger role on offense this year in addition to his kick-return duties, but it has only amounted to 11 catches on 13 targets for 159 yards and one touchdown in four games. He's merely a bench stash in 14-plus-team leagues. With CeeDee Lamb (ankle) likely out another game as well, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert, and Ryan Flournoy figure to operate in starting three-wide sets on Sunday.

    JuJu Smith-Schuster Oct 9 9:03pm ET
    JuJu Smith-Schuster

Kansas City Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 9.

Fantasy Spin: Smith-Schuster has been seeing a handful of targets each game, but he is typically fourth or fifth in the pecking order. There just isn't enough upside to justify using Smith-Schuster.

    From TheHuddle

Patrick Mahomes Oct 9 8:53pm ET
    Patrick Mahomes

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (groin) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 9.

Fantasy Spin: While Mahomes has been unable to post explosive passing numbers, his fantasy production has benefited from being forced to scramble more often. He has just one game with more than one touchdown pass, but he has three games with 50-plus rushing yards and a score.

    From TheHuddle

Christian McCaffrey Oct 9 8:43pm ET
    Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 9.

Fantasy Spin: McCaffrey will continue to see a significant amount of target no matter who is available on offense and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

    From TheHuddle

Kareem Hunt Oct 9 8:43pm ET
    Kareem Hunt

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (calf) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 9.

Fantasy Spin: Hunt and Isiah Pacheco have split carries almost evenly through five games, and while neither player has had a lot of success, Hunt has three rushing scores while Pacheco has one receiving touchdown. With Hunt appearing to be the preferred option around the goal line, he has some potential as a flex option.
