Dalton Schultz Jun 4 11:40am CT
    Dalton Schultz

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (leg) is back practicing at voluntary organized team activities this week after missing the first few sessions with an apparent leg injury, according to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan M. Alexander. In his second year working with quarterback C.J. Stroud, Schultz disappointed in 2024 with 53 catches on 85 targets for 532 yards and only two touchdowns in 17 regular-season games (13 starts), especially when considering the season-ending injuries to receivers Stefon Diggs (knee) and Tank Dell (knee). Diggs is gone and Dell probably won't play at all in 2025, but the Texans added Christian Kirk via trade and Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel in the draft. The 28-year-old is the team's clear-cut top pass-catching tight end, but Schultz could once again struggle for consistent targets on a week-to-week basis for his fantasy managers.

    D'Andre Swift Jun 4 11:40am CT
    D'Andre Swift

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift wants his production to be "undeniable" as the team's lead back in 2025, and he's been putting in the work to be physically ready for a heavy workload, reports Marquee Sports Network's Scott Bair. Swift will need to improve on his 2024 campaign to hold off Roschon Johnson after averaging a career-low 3.8 yards per carry. The 26-year-old worked with new head coach Ben Johnson during their time together in Detroit, and Johnson called Swift a "fierce competitor." The Bears only added RB Kyle Monangai in the seventh round of this year's NFL draft, so Swift figures to open the 2025 season as the starter in Chicago's backfield. It's unclear exactly how the workload will be split up in Johnson's backfield, but based on volume alone, Swift should be in play as an RB2 in fantasy.

Tua Tagovailoa Jun 4 11:30am CT
    Tua Tagovailoa

The Palm Beach Post's Joe Schad writes that it appears Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is embracing the challenge to take complete command and become more of a leader in the same offense and under the same head coach for a fourth consecutive season. "(Tua) had the most ownership of all the players on each and every down," head coach Mike McDaniel said during the second week of organized team activities. The former first-rounder came into the league with a propensity to defer to older players, but that's not the case now as he heads into Year 6 in the NFL. "Tua in Year 6, he's definitely a lot more confident and decisive on and off the field," tackle Austin Jackson said. The 27-year-old's 2024 season was derailed by concussion and hip injuries, and he could be one more concussion away from his career being over. But if Tagovailoa can stay healthy, he has the weapons to at least be in the low-end QB1 picture.

Kenneth Walker III Jun 4 11:20am CT
    Kenneth Walker III

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) is taking part in the team's voluntary organized team activities this offseason. Walker has battled injuries through all three of his NFL seasons and played in a career-low 11 games last year, carrying the ball 153 times for 573 yards and seven touchdowns while adding a career-high 46 receptions for 299 yards and an additional score through the air. When healthy, the 24-year-old remains Seattle's lead back ahead of Zach Charbonnet, but when selecting Walker in fantasy drafts, managers have to bake in some missed time due to injuries. While Seattle's offense could be more efficient in 2025 under new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, the Seahawks could lessen Walker's load a bit to try to keep him healthy for a full season. Because of workload and durability concerns, fantasy managers should target Walker as more of an RB2.

Cam Ward Jun 4 11:10am CT
    Cam Ward

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley is working on his chemistry with rookie first-round quarterback Cam Ward this offseason after failing to find much chemistry with QB Will Levis a year ago. Coaches assigned Ridley and Ward lockers next to each other, and their communication appears to be flowing on and off the field, according to the Nashville Post's John Glennon. "It's easy to relate to him for me. He's fun. He's easy to talk ball with. I just like him a lot," Ridley said. The 30-year-old pass-catcher is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and has topped 60 catches in five of his six NFL seasons. He finished tied for fifth with 19 catches of 20-plus yards in 2024, and Ward excelled on deep passes last year at Miami. It remains to be seen how good Ward will be in his first NFL season, but Ridley should once again have little competition for targets in Tennessee.

    Kenny Clark

Green Bay Packers DL Kenny Clark underwent surgery on his foot shortly after the season to fix an injury he sustained during the team's Week 1 game against the Philadelphia Eagles that took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Clark indicated he dealt with a bunion and bone spurs, which led to the surgery.

    T.J. Watt Jun 3 11:20pm CT
    T.J. Watt

The Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly expect to reach an agreement on a contract extension with All-Pro linebacker T.J. Watt before the start of the 2025 regular season, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Gerry Dulac. Watt could "hold in" during training camp this summer if nothing is done by then, but the Steelers like their chances of getting something done eventually after another dominant season for the 30-year-old game-changing pass-rusher in 2024. The former 30th overall pick in 2017 out of Wisconsin has made the Pro Bowl in each of the last seven seasons and in seven of his eight years in the NFL. He had 11.5 sacks, 61 tackles (40 solo), 19 tackles for loss, 27 QB hits, a league-high six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 17 regular-season starts. Contract issues aside, Watt should once again be considered one of the best IDP fantasy targets heading into Year 9.

Sam Darnold Jun 3 11:10pm CT
    Sam Darnold

Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said on Tuesday that there's no question that Sam Darnold is "our starting quarterback" when asked if there was any scenario, outside of injury, in which Darnold isn't the starter. "This is a crazy question," Macdonald also said. Most of the speculation about Darnold comes after Seattle took Jalen Milroe in the third round of April's NFL draft. Milroe, a dual-threat QB, is expected to have a package of plays as another offensive weapon for Seattle, but Darnold will be the unquestioned starter under center after a career year in 2024 with the Minnesota Vikings in which he threw for 4,319 yards, 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 17 regular-season games while leading the team to a 14-3 record. It was a great season, but the move to Seattle is a downgrade for Darnold's fantasy value behind a shaky offensive line and with a downgrade in aerial weapons.

Marvin Harrison Jr. Jun 3 11:10pm CT
    Marvin Harrison Jr.

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride said that the team's offense is evolving and becoming more complex heading into the 2025 season. "The plays they're putting in, it's not as fundamental, it's not as basic. They're adding a lot of motions, a lot of sauce. A lot more complex. It's all kind of the same concepts, just different ways to get to it," McBride said. The 25-year-old former second-round pick (55th overall) in the 2022 NFL draft out of Colorado State had nothing to complain about in his third year in the league in 2024, breaking out to the tune of 111 catches on 147 targets for 1,146 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 16 starts. Despite only finding the end zone twice, McBride was the TE3 in half-PPR formats and a first-time Pro Bowler. Getting former first-round wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. more involved is likely a big emphasis for the Cardinals offense in 2025.

Kyle Pitts Jun 3 11:00pm CT
    Kyle Pitts

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts (foot) hasn't been practicing in voluntary organized team activities due to a strained muscle in his foot, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. There has also been speculation about Pitts' future in Atlanta with his name recently popping up in trade rumors this offseason. Head coach Raheem Morris said the team is being "extremely cautious" with the 24-year-old former first-rounder, so it doesn't appear to be a very serious injury. Pitts is heading into the final year of his rookie deal after the team picked up his fifth-year option for 2025. Offensive coordinator Zac Robinson is expecting big things from Pitts this year, but fantasy managers have also fallen for that before, only to be disappointed. Other than a career-high four TDs in 2024, he disappointed with 47 catches and 602 yards. Fantasy managers that take him as a low-end TE1 will be hoping he figures it all out with young quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

Donald Parham Jun 3 7:40pm CT
    Donald Parham

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Donald Parham Jr. (Achilles) suffered a torn Achilles tendon on Tuesday and is in danger of missing the entirety of the 2025 season. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the injury. News came through earlier today that the Steelers removed themselves from conversations with the Miami Dolphins for tight end Jonnu Smith, but their tune quickly changed, and now we know why. It's unfortunate news for the 27-year-old, as he's now set for a lengthy recovery process. It's no secret that Pittsburgh has a glaring need at quarterback, though the lack of weapons on the offense is quickly becoming an understated issue. It's unlikely that Parham Jr. would have made a massive impact in 2025. Still, the team's skill players are relatively thin behind wideout DK Metcalf, tight end Pat Freiermuth, and running back Jaylen Warren.

Jonnu Smith Jun 3 7:20pm CT
    Jonnu Smith

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers renewed their conversations with the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday regarding tight end Jonnu Smith. Just hours after Schefter noted that the team was out on Smith, Pittsburgh is reportedly right back in after a devastating, potentially season-ending injury to tight end Donald Parham Jr. (Achilles). The Steelers have been searching for a bit of offensive firepower in the wake of wide receiver George Pickens departing for the Dallas Cowboys. The NFL Insider also reported that former Jacksonville Jaguars wideout Gabe Davis is scheduled to visit with the organization later this week. The eight-year pro was a revelation for Miami last season, operating as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's go-to target. It's unclear whether or not the Dolphins will deploy a similar short-area scheme in 2025, though a move to the Steel City should be a boon for his value. That is, depending on who is throwing passes for Pittsburgh.

    Jonnu Smith

Updating a previous report, The Pittsburgh Steelers renewed trade talks for Miami Dolphins TE Jonnu Smith, according to sources Tuesday, June 3.

Fantasy Spin: Smith is coming off the best season of his career And is seeking a new contract with the Dolphins. He's a low-end TE1 when factoring in potential regression after posting an 88-884-8 line in 2024.

Jimmy Horn Jr. Jun 3 2:30pm CT
    Jimmy Horn Jr.

Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. (hamstring) is not practicing during this week's OTAs as he works through a hamstring injury, according to team reporter David Newton. While catching passes from Shedeur Sanders over the last two seasons at Colorado, Horn hauled in 95 receptions for 1,008 yards and seven touchdowns in 23 games. He was a sixth-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, and it would be somewhat of a surprise if he's on the fantasy football radar in Year 1. Assuming he can get healthy and make the 53-man roster, he figures to begin his career behind Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Thilen, David Moore, Jalen Coker, and potentially more wideouts on the depth chart.

Micah Parsons Jun 3 2:20pm CT
    Micah Parsons

Dallas Cowboys linebacker/edge rusher Micah Parsons is expected to report for mandatory minicamp this offseason despite his absence from voluntary OTAs. The four-time Pro Bowler in as many NFL seasons is seeking a new contract after racking up 256 tackles (172 solo), 52.5 sacks, nine forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, nine pass deflections, and 41 run stuffs in 63 career games. He is deserving of a payday and ranks just 60th among edge defenders in average salary ($4.27 million). The good news is Parsons is not hinting toward sitting or holding out, and his 2025 season availability is not in doubt at this point in the offseason. That said, the situation is well worth monitoring.

Jihaad Campbell Jun 3 2:00pm CT
    Jihaad Campbell

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jihaad Campbell (shoulder) will not take the field for practice until "sometime in August," according to defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. The rookie first-round pick out of Alabama is recovering from shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum and could start his professional season on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list, meaning he'd have to miss at least the first four games of the regular season. Last season with the Tide, Campbell tallied 119 tackles (55 solo), five sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception on his way to first-team All-SEC honors. With Philadelphia's front-seven loaded with talent, Campbell could be a minor contributor in 2025 before earning a bigger role in 2026. Patience will be key for IDP fantasy gamers and Eagles fans alike.

Zay Flowers Jun 3 1:50pm CT
    Zay Flowers

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is coming off his first Pro Bowl campaign in just his second season in the NFL. The 2023 first-round pick out of Boston College snagged 74 of his 116 targets for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games. Unfortunately, Flowers was banged up in the season finale against the Cleveland Browns and did not appear in either of Baltimore's postseason contests. Heading into Year 3, the Ravens are hoping to get Flowers more involved. "We just got to get him the ball more," offensive coordinator Todd Monken said after Tuesday's practice. "He's not only an outside receiver who has elite route-running skills, but he's unbelievable with the ball in his hands." Flowers ranked 19th in receiving yards last season despite finishing 28th in receptions and 23rd in targets. An uptick in target volume could give him fringe WR1 upside, and his target competition at wideout remains underwhelming.

    From RotoBaller

Keaton Mitchell Jun 3 1:40pm CT
    Keaton Mitchell

Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell (knee) suffered a significant ACL tear at the end of his 2023 rookie campaign and was limited to just five games in 2024, logging touches in two contests. In his first season, the East Carolina product averaged a whopping 8.4 yards per carry on 47 rushing attempts, totaling 396 yards and two touchdowns. Had he not suffered a major injury, he could have entered last season as the clear RB2 behind Derrick Henry, but he'll get that chance again entering the 2025 campaign, and the 23-year-old is back to 100%. "I feel like I'm back better than when I first got here," Mitchell said. "I tell guys a lot that talk to me that I'm starting all over. They don't even know what I can do. I'm just starting all over again, proving what I can do and taking it day by day." While Henry remains the clear workhorse in Baltimore, he is entering his age-31 season and carries additional injury risk. In deeper setups, Mitchell and Justice Hill can be considered handcuff stashes, though Rasheen Ali will also have the chance to compete for a spot on the depth chart.
