Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Tre Harris, who was selected with the No. 55 overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft last Friday, is expected to fill the team's X position in his first year in the league. Ladd McConkey broke out in his rookie campaign in 2024 in the slot, but the Chargers needed a big-bodied receiver who could stretch the field vertically outside the numbers and threaten defenses with contested-catch ability. That is what Harris does well. The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder from Ole Miss had 60 catches for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns in eight games in 2024 and should be a nice downfield and red-zone weapon for quarterback Justin Herbert. Given the question marks surrounding Mike Williams and former first-rounder Quentin Johnston, Harris will have the opportunity to be the team's WR2 in his first year in 2025. It's a positive landing spot for an immediate fantasy impact.

The Athletic's Daniel Popper thinks Los Angeles Chargers former first-rounder wide receiver Quentin Johnston will have to earn his roster spot in training camp this summer after the team added wideout Tre Harris in the second round this year. Harris and Mike Williams are downfield, contested-catch weapons for quarterback Justin Herbert, while Ladd McConkey has already proven himself as a game-changing slot receiver after just one year in the NFL. Popper thinks the Chargers will initially have McConkey in the slot, Williams at X and Harris at Z. Rookie Keandre Lambert-Smith will give the Bolts more speed on the field when they want it. The drop-prone Johnston was better last year with a 55-711-8 line in 15 games, but the addition of Harris is bad news for his fantasy value in single-year and dynasty/keeper formats in 2025.

The Athletic's Daniel Popper writes that Los Angeles Chargers running back Hassan Haskins is the leader in the clubhouse for the third running back spot on the 53-man roster this year behind Najee Harris and first-round rookie Omarion Hampton because of his versatility on special teams. Haskins played the third-most special-teams snaps of any Charger last year. Kimani Vidal will have to come to training camp ready to perform to make it more of a competition for the No. 3 job. The 25-year-old Haskins won't be on the fantasy radar in single-year leagues as long as both Harris and Hampton are healthy for the Bolts. The former fourth-rounder by the Tennessee Titans in 2022 out of Michigan had only 34 carries for 89 yards and two touchdowns for L.A. in 17 games last year while also adding three catches for 49 yards and a touchdown.

While nothing is set in stone right now, Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said that the team plans to deploy a booming 1-2 punch with rookie running back Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris in 2025. True to the Harbaugh mentality, the Bolts plan to line up and run the ball with Hampton and Harris, who are both big and powerful backs. Harbaugh raved about Hampton's ability to break tackles -- According to Pro Football Focus, 2,505 of his career rushing yards at North Carolina came after contact. At No. 22 overall in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft last Thursday, Hampton was a "unanimous" decision for the Chargers. Hampton averaged 5.9 yards per carry in each of his last two seasons with the Tar Heels and was a true workhorse. While his fantasy upside will be limited while sharing the backfield with Harris in 2025, Hampton's long-term fantasy upside in Harbaugh's system has to excite those in dynasty formats.

The New England Patriots view rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson as "a three-down back and a really good complement," according to general manager Eliot Wolf. "He's a threat with the ball in his hands, speed to take at the distance anytime he touches it." The Patriots selected the former Ohio State product with the 38th overall pick in the second round of last week's NFL draft as the fourth RB off the board. The 22-year-old will most likely split backfield touches with Rhamondre Stevenson to begin his first year in the NFL, similar to what he did with the Buckeyes last year with Quinshon Judkins. The 5-foot-10, 202-pound 22-year-old has the ability to do damage with long plays anytime the ball is in his hands, giving New England another dynamic playmaker behind young quarterback Drake Maye. At the very least, Henderson will be a handcuff option for fantasy managers that take the chance on Stevenson.

The Cleveland Browns think very highly of running back Quinshon Judkins' potential at the next level after selecting him at No. 36 overall in the second round of the NFL draft last Friday. "Not necessarily saying that he's going to, with certainty, develop into one of those players, we certainly hope that's the case, but we think that he can be a bell cow runner that can really carry the load for us," general manager Andrew Berry said. The Browns' quarterback situation in 2025 could hold Judkins and the rest of their offense back, but it doesn't change the fact that the 21-year-old rookie has a real chance to be the team's RB1 over Jerome Ford sooner than later. It's unclear exactly how Judkins and Ford will coexist in this backfield, but head coach Kevin Stefanski said they want to use Judkins "in a bunch of different ways." Judkins will be more valuable in standard-scoring formats, but his explosiveness and three-down ability will make him an interesting sleeper at the RB position in 2025.

When asked if rookie quarterback Jalen Milroe could be used in a Taysom Hill-type role, Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said that Milroe "is a quarterback through and through." Sam Darnold will play most of the snaps in 2025, but Milroe will have an opportunity to earn a unique role in certain situations. General manager John Schneider said that Seattle "added an explosive weapon while (Milroe) develops as a quarterback." "He's going to be trained to play quarterback for us. When he's in there, he's going to be playing quarterback. But the athleticism is going to come to life when he's on the field," Macdonald said. The 6-foot-1, 216-pounder has game-changing speed and a big arm, but he needs to develop as an accurate passer with anticipation at all three levels of the field. Milroe's dynamic athleticism will make him an intriguing dynasty/keeper pick, but he should be ignored in redraft leagues.

Tennessee Titans president of football operations Chad Brinker said that the team is unlikely to pick up wide receiver Treylon Burks' (knee) fifth-year option. Burks is still working through his rehab for a torn ACL that he suffered in Week 6 of last year, and combined with his lack of production since being the 18th overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft out of Arkansas, and it's not that tough of a decision for the Titans to move on after this year. The 25-year-old pass-catcher is not expected to be ready for Week 1 of the 2025 regular season this fall as well. Since entering the league in 2022, he has just 53 catches on 92 targets for 699 yards and one touchdown in 27 games played (17 starts). Tennessee added Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson in free agency and Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike through the draft, which will make it even more difficult for Burks to contribute in 2025 whenever he's past his knee injury.

The Cleveland Browns applied the seldom-used unrestricted free-agent tender to wide receiver Elijah Moore on Monday, according to ESPN's Field Yates. Moore will still count as part of the compensatory free agent if he signs with another team before this year's compensatory formula deadline on June 21. If he signs elsewhere this offseason, his tender carries a value of $3.428 million for the 2025 season. The 25-year-old took a visit to the Buffalo Bills on Monday and could be close to signing with the organization. The former second-round pick (34th overall) by the New York Jets in 2021 out of Mississippi caught 61 of his 102 targets for 538 yards and just one touchdown in 17 games (13 starts) in 2024 in his second year in Cleveland. Even if he were to sign in Buffalo, Moore would have a limited fantasy ceiling, having never gone over 640 yards or five TDs in his four years in the league.

There is building team interest in the Dallas Cowboys reuniting with free-agent wide receiver Amari Cooper, a source told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Nick Harris. The Cowboys surprisingly didn't use any of their nine selections in last week's draft on a receiver, and ESPN's Todd Archer reported that the Cowboys had discussions with an AFC North team about trading for a receiver, but the two sides weren't able to get anything done before the draft. Other than Cooper, there are still intriguing free-agent options such as Keenan Allen and Nelson Agholor. Dallas traded a first-rounder for Cooper in 2018, and he had 292 catches for 3,893 yards and 27 touchdowns in 56 games with the team. The 30-year-old veteran would likely become Dallas' No. 2 wideout across from CeeDee Lamb if he were to return to the Cowboys.

After visiting with former Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Diontae Johnson on Monday, the Cleveland Browns reached an agreement with him on an undisclosed one-year deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Johnson had a disappointing and interesting 2024 season in the NFL, to say the least. He played the first seven games of the season with the Panthers after being acquired in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 28-year-old was then traded from the Panthers to the Ravens, where he caught just one pass for six yards in four games. He was eventually cut and latched on with the Texans for one game. Almost all of Johnson's production last year came in Carolina, and he finished with career-lows in catches (33) and receiving yards (375). In Cleveland, he will compete to be the No. 3 wideout behind Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman. Expectations will be low.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed veteran free-agent wide receiver Robert Woods to a one-year, $2 million deal on Monday, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Woods will give the Steelers a new target and a strong locker-room presence for whoever end up being their starting quarterback in 2025. The 33-year-old former Super Bowl champion will be competing for a roster spot in training camp this summer as receiving depth behind starters DK Metcalf and George Pickens. Even if Woods were able to somehow beat out the likes of Calvin Austin III and Roman Wilson for the WR3 job in Pittsburgh, he's probably not going to be attractive in most fantasy leagues given the team's QB situation. The former second-rounder by the Buffalo Bills in 2013 out of USC only mustered 20 catches for 203 yards and no touchdowns in 15 games (four starts) for the Houston Texans in 2024.

On Saturday, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stated that the team could still add help at the wide receiver position via free agency despite not addressing their need during the draft. "It definitely was a big-time thought," said Jones, " but the train has not left the station if improvement is needed from what we've got on campus." Instead of a flashy offensive skill player selection in Round 1, Dallas opted for offensive lineman Tyler Booker, and continued beefing up the trenches and their defense instead of drafting a complementary wideout to pair with superstar CeeDee Lamb. However, it appears they may not be done yet. In addition to signing undrafted free agent WRs Traeshon Holden and Josh Kelly from Oregon and Texas Tech, respectively, Jones hasn't closed the door on addressing the need in free agency. The Carolina Panthers have announced they'll pick up the fifth-year option on offensive lineman Ikem Ekwonu. He'll now be with the team through the 2026 season and garner a fully guaranteed $17.56 million in his fifth season. Carolina drafted the 24-year-old with the sixth-overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. Ekwonu has improved in each campaign since entering the league and was solid for Carolina in 2024, albeit a better run-blocker than he was in pass protection. Still, he's been reliable -- starting 49 of a possible 51 games -- missing just two contests last year with an ankle injury. The North Carolina State product will need to improve against the pass rush in order to eventually gain a lucrative contract, but he's been a fine contributor for the Panthers. He will anchor quarterback Bryce Young's blindside once again in 2025.

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that the Cleveland Browns will not pick up quarterback Kenny Pickett's fifth-year option. It isn't a surprise, considering Pickett hasn't exactly shown out when given the chance. The 26-year-old is on his fourth team in four seasons after the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted him No. 20 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. Pickett played second fiddle to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts last season, appearing in five games, though he only attempted a pass in three of them. In two seasons with the Steelers, the Pittsburgh product put together an underwhelming 4,474-yard line on a 63% completion percentage with a 13:13 TD:INT ratio in 25 games (24 starts). He may get a shot at some in-game action this season, but it's difficult to tell when (or if) that may be due to the presence of veteran Joe Flacco and recently acquired draftees Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel.

When commenting on the team's tight end situation regarding Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman was non-committal about whether he might still be traded, per the team's transcript. "Dallas is part of the team as we speak," said Roseman. "Obviously, as we go forward, we're going to continue to address things on this team and right now nothing further." There's been speculation that Philadelphia would move on from the veteran, due to his $11.7 million cap hit and zero guaranteed money heading into 2025. However, the Eagles did not opt to draft a tight end in a class with a myriad of intriguing names; instead, they brought in free agent tight ends Kylen Granson and Harrison Bryant. Teammate Grant Calcaterra will return for his fourth season with the team, too, but Goedert is far and away the best of that bunch. If he can stay healthy, 2025 could be a productive season for him, though that seems unlikely as he's played just one full season in seven years as a pro.

Most NFL coaches and scouts didn't view Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders as a first-round talent going into last week's draft. Sanders isn't an exceptional athlete, didn't show great arm strength and displayed bad habits while taking too many sacks at Colorado. The fact that he fell all the way to the fifth round of the draft means that most teams considered him to be more of a developmental project at the NFL level. SI.com's Albert Breer writes that when asked to explain an interception by a team during the scouting combine, Sanders didn't take blame and concluded that maybe he and the staff wouldn't be a good match. Ahead of another visit he took, Sanders got an install with mistakes intentionally planted in it, and Sanders didn't catch the mistakes. When he was called out on it, the resulting exchange wasn't pretty. With Cleveland also taking QB Dillon Gabriel in the draft, Sanders will likely be competing to be the team's No. 3 quarterback this summer.

Former Miami Dolphins free-agent defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah signed a one-year deal worth up to $5 million with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Ogbah, a former second-rounder (32nd overall) by the Cleveland Browns in 2016 out of Oklahoma State, will head to the AFC South after spending the last five seasons with the Dolphins. The 31-year-old veteran pass-rusher figures to be a rotational edge rusher for Jacksonville in 2025 behind Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker. Ogbah had 49 tackles (27 solo), five sacks, nine tackles for loss, 11 QB hits, one interception and a forced fumble in 16 starts for Miami last year. He has 47.5 sacks in his nine-year NFL career, but Ogbah has never reached double-digit sacks in a single season and hasn't had more than 5.5 sacks since 2021.

Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore is visiting with the Buffalo Bills on Monday, sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Moore had a career-high 61 receptions with the Browns in 2024 and just turned 25 years old. He remains on the free-agent market but is looking to latch on with a team now that the 2025 NFL draft is in the rearview mirror. In addition to his 61 catches (102 targets), Moore had 538 receiving yards and only one touchdown for the Browns in 17 games (13 starts) a year ago. Despite a career-high in catches last season, Moore didn't exceed 35 receiving yards in any of his last five games. He has never topped 640 receiving yards in a single season and hasn't had more than two touchdowns since his rookie campaign in 2021, when he had five. If he were to land in Buffalo, Moore would likely be the No. 4 wideout behind Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir and Joshua Palmer.

Former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow signed an undisclosed deal with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. After a year away from the NFL, the ex-Pro Bowler and Clemson star will link up with his hometown team after the NFL draft. In his last season in the league in 2023, the former fifth-round pick (149th overall) caught a career-low 25 passes on 37 targets for 255 yards and no touchdowns in 17 games (three starts) with the Raiders. Renfrow made his one and only Pro Bowl in 2021, when he set career-highs in catches (103), targets (128), receiving yards (1,038) and touchdowns (nine) in 17 games (nine starts). The 29-year-old pass-catcher will give the Panthers another veteran wideout alongside Adam Thielen, but if Carolina's receiving corps stays healthy, he'll likely be the WR4, at best, behind Thielen, Xavier Legette and rookie Tetairoa McMillan.
