Detroit Lions quarterback Kyle Allen completed all five of his pass attempts for 66 yards and a touchdown in the team's preseason finale on Saturday against the Houston Texans. Allen was removed from the game in the first half after playing just two offensive series, which indicates that the 29-year-old's role with the team is secure. Allen has played well this preseason, completing 35 of his 44 pass attempts for 401 yards and five touchdowns. He is a lock to open the season as the Lions' QB2 behind Jared Goff.

Detroit Lions rookie wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa recorded two catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in his team's final preseason game against the Houston Texans on Saturday. TeSlaa finishes the preseason with 10 catches for 146 yards and three scores. A third-round pick out of Arkansas, TeSlaa has had an encouraging summer heading into his rookie season. He currently projects as WR5 on the Lions' depth chart, but TeSlaa has a chance to steal playing time from veterans Kalif Raymond and Tim Patrick if he can carry his strong play into the regular season. TeSlaa is a name for fantasy managers to monitor as a waiver-wire target, particularly if there is a wide receiver injury in Detroit.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions quarterback Hendon Hooker had a rough game in the team's preseason finale against the Houston Texans on Saturday, completing six of 11 pass attempts for 70 yards with zero touchdowns and an interception. Hooker was also sacked twice. The third-year signal-caller has struggled mightily in the preseason, throwing three interceptions and fumbling twice while completing just 55% of his passes. He entered training camp as the presumed favorite for the Lions QB2 role behind Jared Goff, but Hooker has been surpassed by veteran Kyle Allen. There's no guarantee that Detroit will keep three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster, which means Hooker could find himself looking for a new team at some point in the next few days.

Dynasty | Seahawks quarterback Jalen Milroe completed 13-of-24 passes for 148 yards, with one touchdown, 31 rushing yards and two lost fumbles in Seattle's final preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: Any dreams dynasty managers had of Milroe somehow unseating Sam Darnold early this season had a bucket of cold water thrown on them today as Milroe really struggled. The two lost fumbles were brutal as he Milroe lost one on a sack and the other on a fourth down sneak. While he made some plays later in the game, Milroe clearly has a ways to go and while he remains a dynasty stash, his time is clearly not now.
Dynasty | Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez had 34 rushing yards in his final preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: The most notable part of this game was likely the fact both Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Austin Ekeler were inactive, possibly indicating they are now the top two running backs on the team. Rodriguez did a good job of making his own case for touches as he did his damage on just five carries. This backfield could end up being a bit of a jumbled mess, but Rodriguez is a player who could carve out a role and should be rostered in all leagues.
Dynasty | Lions wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa had two catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in Detroit's final preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: That gives TeSlaa a final preseason line of 10/146/3 in limited action. Not bad for a third round rookie who most thought was completely overdrafted in April. While it's only the preseason, TeSlaa has made a strong case to be part of the receiver rotation early in his career. In short, he could push Tim Patrick early this year for touches behind the likes of Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Sam LaPorta. His rookie ADP is slowly rising.
Dynasty | Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel completed 12-of-19 passes for 129 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in the Browns final preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: Gabriel played more than any other Browns quarterback and while he wasn't dominant, he at least looked the part at times. It seems Cleveland is really considering keeping all four of their quarterbacks on the roster and even if they chose not to, Kenny Pickett is the most likely to be traded on cut day. Regardless, Gabriel remains a late round flier in rookie drafts.
Houston Texans wide receiver Quintez Cephus finished the preseason on a high note, catching four of his seven targets for 51 yards and a touchdown against his former team, the Lions. Cephus' six-yard touchdown catch from Graham Mertz put the Texans ahead 16-7 just before halftime, and they went on to win 26-7. The Texans did not play starting quarterback C.J. Stroud or primary backup Davis Mills, but Cephus looked productive playing with rookie Graham Mertz. Cephus was a fifth-round pick of the Lions in 2020 and played three seasons in Detroit. He missed a season due to a suspension for violating the league's gambling policy and has since spent time with the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, and Texans. He doesn't look likely to end up on the Texans' final roster, but he probably showed enough to get a look from another NFL team or at least end up on a practice squad somewhere.

Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears (ankle) is currently uncertain for the season opener due to injury. A few weeks ago, Spears suffered a high ankle sprain during a preseason contest. As of this week, Spears is still in a safety boot and moving around with a scooter. It doesn't seem like Spears is going to be ready for Week 1, but there is still some time. If he's out, Julius Chestnut and Kalel Mullings figure to operate as the backups behind Tony Pollard. Spears figures to have a significant role in the offense once he's cleared to play. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on his status.

Houston Texans running back Woody Marks entered the final preseason game after Dameon Pierce got the start, but Marks scored Houston's first touchdown of the day on their way to a 26-7 win over the Lions. Marks finished the day with 19 rushing yards on six carries and three catches on three targets for 20 more yards through the air. He finished the preseason with 63 rushing yards and a touchdown on 16 carries, along with four catches for 20 yards. Marks could have a role early in the season if Joe Mixon (foot/ankle) is unavailable, as looks likely to be the case. The Texans will likely go with more proven options in Nick Chubb and Pierce as their primary replacements for Mixon, but Marks flashed enough potential that he could get a look early in the year as well. The rookie from USC is a flier in late rounds of standard leagues to see how his role shakes out.

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell (wrist) is going to miss significant time to start the season. According to Ian Rapoport, O'Connell is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks of action due to a fractured wrist. Ouch, O'Connell was in line to be the backup to Geno Smith to begin the season. Now, rookies Cam Miller and Tommy Mellott are in line to take over that job. It wouldn't be shocking to see the Raiders add a veteran before the season begins. Everyone will need to make their final cuts soon, which probably means the Raiders will have a few options to pick from. Regardless, Smith is viewed as the full-time starter, so no other quarterback will have value in Las Vegas.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Zach Wilson came into Saturday's game against the Jaguars in the second quarter after Tua Tagovailoa stepped aside. He played ahead of rookie Quinn Ewers and put together solid numbers. Wilson completed nine of his 13 pass attempts for 80 yards, and he converted a big fourth-and-16 play that set up the Dolphins' second score of the day in their 14-6 victory over Jacksonville. Wilson finished the preseason with 327 passing yards and a 64.4% completion rate in three games, along with a passing touchdown and 19 rushing yards. Wilson played ahead of rookie Quinn Ewers, who has had a solid preseason. Ewers completed seven of his eight passes for 66 yards but did not lead a scoring drive. As the season starts, Wilson seems to have a firm grasp on the primary backup role behind Tua, but Ewers could figure in the mix further down the road.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado received the most carries out of a crowded backfield on Saturday, but couldn't turn it into much. As the Cardinals beat the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday, Demercado posted 22 yards on seven carries and caught two of his three targets for eight yards. Bam Knight led the way with 83 yards and a touchdown on five carries, while Michael Carter posted 47 yards on five carries. Demercado's preseason left a lot to be desired, but the 26-year-old seems to still have the trust of the team as the third-string back for the time being.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo (shoulder) played at less than 100 percent during Saturday's preseason contest. Guerendo started the game, but re-aggravated his shoulder injury in the first quarter. Luckily, Guerendo was able to return to the game after getting looked at on the sideline. At the moment, all signs point to Guerendo being available for the season opener. However, his fantasy value is going to take a serious hit with Brian Robinson Jr. taking over as the RB2 in San Francisco. Guerendo probably won't see significant snaps unless someone gets hurt in the backfield.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight saved his best game for last in the preseason victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday. The 24-year-old led all rushers in yards and touchdowns after he registered 83 yards on five carries and a big 67-yard touchdown run. Knight was able to find a hole right up the middle and break away from the Raiders' defense at the end of the third quarter. There hasn't been any official word on the depth chart yet, but Knight could have put plenty of pressure on Emari Demercado and DeeJay Dallas for the final RB spot.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa played into the second quarter on Saturday, as the Dolphins completed their preseason with a 14-7 win over the Jaguars. Tua completed four of his eight pass attempts for 49 yards and was sacked twice. After going three-and-out on his first two possessions, he connected with Malik Washington for a touchdown early in the second quarter to cap his final drive of the day and added a two-point conversion toss to Pharaoh Brown. Tua and the Dolphins head to Indianapolis for a Week 1 matchup with the Colts. His pass protection could limit his fantasy upside after struggling this preseason, but the sixth-year quarterback has a high ceiling in coach Mike McDaniel's offense and will start the year healthy. He begins the season as a mid-level fantasy option with the potential for big plays and spike weeks.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Simi Fehoko was able to grab a second touchdown reception in as many preseason games. During the 20-10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday, Fehoko saw two targets and caught one of them for a 10-yard touchdown towards the end of the first quarter. The former fifth-round pick finishes the preseason with three receptions for 31 yards and two touchdowns. While he's still a long shot even in dynasty leagues, Fehoko could be hanging around as a depth option for the Cardinals this season.
From RotoBaller
According to Nick Wagoner, Brian Robinson Jr. was brought on to be the second back in San Francisco. This shouldn't come as a shock given how well Robinson performed during his days in Washington. 49ers' head coach Kyle Shanahan said they've had their eyes on Robinson for a while and are pumped to have him in San Francisco. The oft-injured Christian McCaffrey is going to lead the way, but Robinson appears to be second on the pecking order. That means, Isaac Guerendo (shoulder) will fall to third on the depth chart, which will hurt his overall fantasy value. Robinson is well worth a stash in fantasy leagues given McCaffrey has been limited to seven games or less in three of the last five seasons.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Clayton Tune was under duress for most of the game during the 20-10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, but was able to lead the team to a touchdown. He finished the game with 83 yards and a touchdown on 12-for-20 passing while adding five carries for 47 yards. He also took five sacks, which makes sense when the Cardinals weren't playing any starters in this preseason finale. Tune seems to be locked into the third-string spot after Jacoby Brissett posted a solid couple of preseason games. Before this final game, Tune only accrued 47 passing yards, one interception, and no touchdowns.
From RotoBaller
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Malik Washington seems to have secured the team's third receiver spot on the depth chart with a big preseason. Washington caught all three of his targets in Saturday's preseason finale and finished with 41 yards and a touchdown. He was targeted on three of Tua Tagovailoa's eight pass attempts and continues to show a good rapport with the Dolphins' starting QB. Star receiver Tyreek Hill did not play this preseason, and when he's in the mix, Washington's role will likely be reduced. However, the second-year receiver from Virginia looks like he'll be a trusted option for Tua, making him worth a late-round flier in standard leagues since he brings good upside after a strong offseason, training camp, and preseason.
