Baltimore Ravens beat writer Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic predicts that Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely (foot) will not make his 2025 season debut until Week 4. Likely underwent foot surgery in August and has not suited up for the Ravens yet this season. He's been able to return to the practice field, but only in a limited capacity. In 16 games for Baltimore in 2024, Likely recorded 42 catches for 477 yards and six touchdowns. His absence should theoretically improve the outlook for Ravens tight end Mark Andrews, but Andrews has just two catches through his first two games of 2025. When both Ravens tight ends are active, it's difficult for fantasy managers to trust either to provide consistent top-12 fantasy production at the position.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot) has officially been placed on Injured Reserve, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. This move comes as no surprise after Reed suffered a fractured collarbone in Week 2. He had also been attempting to play through a Jones fracture in his foot, so Reed underwent operations on both injuries earlier this week. The IR placement guarantees Reed will miss at least four games, but he's almost certain to be out significantly longer than that. Without him, Packers wide receivers Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and Matthew Golden could all see a bump in both snaps and target volume. Reed could be stashed in fantasy leagues that offer an IR spot, but there's no guarantee he will be able to return in time to make an impact later this season.

Chicago Bears kicker Cairo Santos has been quiet to start his 17th NFL season. After missing a field goal in Week 1, he converted all of his extra-point attempts in Week 2's loss to the Detroit Lions. Head coach Ben Johnson's aggressive approach on fourth downs has limited Santos' fantasy upside, as opportunities for field goals have been capped. In Week 3, the Bears face the Dallas Cowboys, who have allowed the most points in the NFL through the first two weeks. While a high-scoring game is likely, Santos remains a high-risk kicker option in fantasy this week.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet has been quiet to start the 2025 season. With the addition of Colston Loveland, many speculated Kmet might lose his starting role. Despite a dip in production, Kmet's snap share (90%) and route rate (73%) remain high compared to Loveland, who is barely reaching 50% in both areas. Kmet draws a much more favorable matchup in Week 3. The Dallas Cowboys have allowed the most points and yards to opposing offenses so far in 2025, and with a likely pass-heavy game script, Kmet could see some opportunities. With Loveland's potential emergence looming, Kmet is a high-risk TE2 in Week 3.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) is expected to play in Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The third-year tight end had quite the scare this week, sustaining the injury during practice on Thursday and missing practice Friday, but appears to have dodged anything serious. Kraft has been excellent so far this season, compiling eight catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns across the first two games, but it remains to be seen what kind of usage he'll actually see come game time on Sunday. Due to the injury and a matchup against a strong Cleveland defense, managers will have a decision to make about starting Kraft or another tight end.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland has yet to establish a significant role in the offense. Through two games, Loveland has played 50% of the snaps, while veteran Cole Kmet dominates with 90% of the snaps. The 2025 tenth-overall pick faces a favorable matchup in Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys, who have allowed the most points and yards of any defense in the NFL so far in 2025. While a breakout performance is possible, Loveland's limited role keeps him on the bench in most fantasy formats this week.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns wide receiver DeAndre Carter (concussion) is off the injury report and set to play in Week 3. After being limited earlier in the week, Carter practiced fully on Friday and passed concussion protocol. Carter has been the Browns' primary kick returner, returning five kickoffs and three punts so far this season. He has yet to play a snap on the offensive side of the ball. He faces the Green Bay Packers in Week 3 and will likely see a heavy workload on kick returns in this tough matchup. Despite being active, Carter carries no fantasy value this week, as he looks to carve out a role in Cleveland's passing attack.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (groin) is expected to play in Week 3 against the New York Jets. Egbuka battled a groin injury late in Week 2's thrilling win over the Houston Texans, missing Wednesday and Thursday practices before returning on Friday. The Jets have struggled defensively in 2025, allowing 30+ points to both the Steelers and Bills, and the Buccaneers' potent offense is aiming for similar production. Egbuka remains a WR2 option for Week 3, looking to score for a third consecutive game.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty could see an expanded role in Week 3. The sixth-overall pick played just 57% of snaps in Week 2's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, a share head coach Pete Carroll acknowledged was too low. "The numbers haven't been as good as we want so far. We want more of Jeanty. He ran very well when he had the ball, and we just needed to get more snaps," Carroll said this week. Jeanty has struggled in the passing game and pass protection, and negative game scripts could limit his fantasy upside. He faces the Washington Commanders, a defense that has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs to start 2025. Despite the tough matchup, Jeanty remains a low-end RB1 in fantasy this week.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears rookie running back Kyle Monangai is quietly carving out a role in the backfield. For a seventh-round pick, earning early trust isn't easy, but Monangai has quickly impressed both coaches and teammates. He played 42% of the snaps in Week 3, totaling eight touches for 36 yards against a stout Detroit Lions run defense. Head coach Ben Johnson singled him out as one of the few bright spots in the loss. With Roschon Johnson nearly phased out of the offense, Monangai looks set to serve as a complementary back behind D'Andre Swift, who is currently questionable with a hamstring injury after limited practice all week. Dallas' defense has struggled early in 2025, giving Monangai a potential opportunity to build on his momentum. If D'Andre Swift is inactive, Kyle Monangai immediately becomes a must-start RB3 and a player who should be rostered in all leagues. If Swift plays, Monangai slides back into his complementary RB2 role and remains a streaming option for Week 3.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears rookie wide receiver Luther Burden III has had a quiet start to his NFL career, totaling just two catches for two yards through his first two games. With a limited offensive role, head coach Ben Johnson noted the team needs to design a package of plays specifically for the rookie. The second-round pick has played only 22% of snaps so far this season, as Rome Odunze, D.J. Moore, and Olamide Zaccheaus dominate the starting roles. A potential opportunity arises this week with the Dallas Cowboys in town, a defense that has struggled mightily in 2025, allowing the most points, yards, and receiving yards in the league so far. While Burden isn't yet fantasy relevant, producing efficiently with his limited workload could help him grow his fantasy value moving forward.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt (calf) is expected to play on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Szmyt had a scare on Friday, but he's cleared to kick in Week 3. The rookie has had an up-and-down start, missing a game-winning attempt in Week 1 and converting his only try in Week 2. Facing a tough Packers defense, the Browns' offense may struggle to generate scoring opportunities, limiting Szmyt's fantasy upside. He should remain off fantasy lineups for Week 3.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore is off to a sluggish start in 2025. Since the arrival of quarterback Caleb Williams, Moore has averaged just 56 yards per game with six touchdowns across 19 games. The chemistry between the two has yet to click, and Moore's role has clearly diminished with second-year receiver Rome Odunze emerging as the Bears' WR1. That said, Week 3 offers a get-right opportunity. The Dallas Cowboys allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers in 2024 and just gave up a monster performance to Malik Nabers (167 yards, two TDs) in Week 2. While Moore's ceiling is capped by Odunze's rise, the matchup keeps him firmly in play as a high-end WR3 with upside this week.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Swift has been limited in practice all three days this week and enters Week 3 with the questionable tag. Swift is coming off a mixed outing against his former team, where he logged 12 carries for 63 yards and a touchdown, adding three catches for six yards in the Bears' blowout loss to the Lions. While the production was solid against a tough Detroit run defense, Swift's costly fumble and the emergence of rookie Kyle Monangai stood out. Swift played 56% of the snaps compared to Monangai's 42%, though that split may have been skewed by the game script once the contest got out of hand. Swift remains the Bears' lead back and draws a favorable matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, who allowed the third-most yards per carry in 2024 and have continued to struggle against the run in 2025. Assuming Swift is active, he has a clear path to finishing as a top-20 fantasy running back this week. If inactive, Monangai would take over the workload, with Roschon Johnson sliding into the backup role. Look for the Bears to activate a running back off the practice squad on Saturday, which would signal that Swift will be inactive.
From RotoBaller
Indianapolis Colts rookie tight end Tyler Warren (toe) has been removed from the injury report and will play in Week 3. Warren logged back-to-back limited practices after sitting out Wednesday, clearing the way for him to suit up. The rookie has been a breakout star to start the 2025 season, catching 11 of 16 targets for 155 yards through two games. While the Titans allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends in 2024, Warren's usage and talent make him a must-start TE1 moving forward.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for Week 3's matchup against the New York Giants. Worthy practiced in a limited fashion during the week, but the team isn't ready to put him back on the field after his Week 1 dislocated shoulder against the Los Angeles Chargers. In his absence, Marquise Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Tyquan Thornton each carry standalone fantasy value, while Patrick Mahomes' ceiling takes a noticeable hit without his premier deep threat. The next opportunity for Worthy's return will be Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams kicker Joshua Karty can be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues ahead of his Week 3 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. First of all, Karty himself has been underwhelming this season, going 5-for-6 on extra points and only having two field goal attempts. Quite simply, the Rams are scoring too many touchdowns and aren't stalling enough in field goal territory for Karty to produce points. Additionally, Karty is headed for a relatively tricky matchup this week against the Eagles, who have surrendered the 15th-fewest fantasy points to kickers in 2025. Managers in most leagues can find better kicking options than Karty this week.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy (ankle) will avoid injured reserve after suffering a high-ankle sprain in the fourth quarter against the Atlanta Falcons. Despite the injury, McCarthy was able to finish the game and is now out of his walking boot as he begins ramping up his recovery. The Vikings head to London for Weeks 4 and 5 before a Week 6 bye, giving McCarthy a natural window to rest. While he is expected to travel with the team, his exact return timeline remains unclear. With McCarthy already ruled out for Week 3, veteran Carson Wentz will take over as the starter.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua continues to rank in must-start territory ahead of Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Nacua has dominated through two games, totaling 18 catches, 221 receiving yards, 45 rushing yards, and one touchdown. Even with a snap share around 70 percent, the young receiver has remained a high-volume option and one of Matthew Stafford's favorite targets. Furthermore, he has shown that he can co-exist alongside Davante Adamsand that both receivers can be top-24 fantasy options in any given week. While this week's matchup is tough -- the Eagles have allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to receivers -- Nacua should still be able to produce as a low-end WR1 in fantasy football, especially if Los Angeles adopts a somewhat negative game script.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Jordan Whittington has inched his way back onto the fantasy radar ahead of Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles. While he's not startable and may not even be worth rostering in most leagues, managers should absolutely monitor his production as he takes on a larger role in the Rams' offense. Just last week, he caught two passes for 42 yards. He did so while handling a 64 percent snap share, which was only five percent lower than star teammate Puka Nacua. If Whittington continues to see the field for roughly two-thirds of Los Angeles' plays, he's bound to have some fantasy-relevant showings, especially in an offense that passes the football so well. It will be interesting to see if he can continue to demonstrate momentum this week, but the odds are stacked against him. Philadelphia's defense has allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers in 2025.
