Chris Moore Oct 14 11:30am ET
    Chris Moore

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore was pressed into action in Week 6, as the team was without wideouts Terry McLaurin (quad) and Noah Brown (groin, knee). Moore stepped up in his team's 25-24 loss to the Chicago Bears, recording three catches for 46 yards and a touchdown on five targets. The veteran wideout now has six catches for 105 yards and a score on 12 targets across five games this season. If McLaurin and Brown remain out in Week 7, Moore appears to be the favorite to step into Washington's WR2 role alongside Deebo Samuel Sr. The Commanders have a very favorable matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7, so Moore could represent a short-term solution off the waiver wire for fantasy managers in deep leagues.

    J.J. McCarthy Oct 14 11:20am ET
    J.J. McCarthy

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said that he is focused on "building that foundation back up" when discussing quarterback J.J. McCarthy's (ankle) fundamentals, per Alec Lewis of The Athletic. McCarthy returned to practice on Monday for the first time since injuring his ankle in Week 2. However, he has not yet officially been named Minnesota's starter in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Lewis reports that McCarthy's health and the team's confidence in his throwing mechanics are both hurdles that he needs to overcome before taking the field. If McCarthy remains out of action in Week 7, veteran Carson Wentz (shoulder) would likely make his fourth straight start against Philadelphia. However, Wentz suffered a shoulder injury in Week 5 before Minnesota's Week 6 bye that puts his availability in question. Fantasy managers will need to check back later this week for an update on the Vikings' quarterback situation in Week 7.

Luther Burden III Oct 14 11:10am ET
    Luther Burden III

Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III has shown a high ceiling in his first five games in the NFL, and it looks like he could have more work coming his way in the coming weeks. After a bye week in Week 5, he led all Bears' wide receivers with 51 receiving yards on his four catches on four targets in Monday night's win over the Commanders. Burden had 101 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Cowboys, but then had a down game in Week 4 with two catches for a total of -2 yards. Olamide Zaccheaus actually led the team with six targets, while D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze each had one more than Burden. However, with Moore's status uncertain after spending the night in the hospital, Burden could step into a more involved role in Week 7 against the Saints. The rookie brings a high ceiling if he's on the waiver wire and is worth a speculative pickup in standard-sized leagues since the Bears are past their bye and have favorable matchups against the Saints, Ravens, Bengals, and Giants in the next four weeks.

Tyler Allgeier Oct 14 11:10am ET
    Tyler Allgeier

Atlanta Falcons running backTyler Allgeier broke off a 21-yard touchdown run early in thefirst quarter of Monday's 24-14 win over the Bills, his third touchdown of the season. Outside of that electric play, the 25-year-old managed only 11 yards on nine carries (1.2 yards per rush), and he added one catch for six yards. The fourth-year pro has scored in three of the Falcons' five games, and even has more rushing scores on the groundthan Bijan Robinson does. Even so, it would be surprising to see him keep up this pace over the remainder of the season, having a previous career high of four rushing scores, and with him typically playing around 30 percent of the team's offensive snaps compared to Robinson's 70 percent or more. Still, for now, the BYU product has some Flex appeal in this offense, just know that he put up less than two points in half-point PPR formats in the two weeks he didn't find the end zone, so there is a very low floor here, too. The Falcons will take on San Francisco in Week 7, a defense that has allowed the 21st-most fantasy points to opposing RBs.

Matthew Golden Oct 14 11:00am ET
    Matthew Golden

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden led the team with 86 receiving yards in Week 6 against the Bengals and added 16 yards on a pair of rushes as well. The Packers seem to be focused on getting the first-round pick more involved in the offense, and the playmaker is starting to look more comfortable in the NFL in his last few games. Romeo Doubs continues to be a more reliable security blanket for Jordan Love, but Golden brings more deep play potential. How exactly Christian Watson (knee) will fit into the mix once he's ready to come off the PUP list is uncertain. Golden brings enough upside, though, to be a great waiver wire pickup if you need a WR3 or flex play this week against the Cardinals. He hasn't had his elusive "breakout" game yet, but it still seems like it could be just around the corner.

Jaxson Dart Oct 14 10:50am ET
    Jaxson Dart

New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart has helped his team to two big home wins over the Chargers and Eagles in his three games since taking over as starting QB, but he also lost a game on the road to the Saints. In Week 6, he threw for 195 yards and a touchdown in New York's Thursday Night Football upset of the Eagles and added 58 yards and a rushing score to help him be one of the highest scoring quarterbacks of the week. His rushing potential makes him a good fantasy play in almost any matchup since he brings both a high ceiling and a high floor. This week, he faces a very tough matchup, though, against the Broncos, who just shut down Jalen Hurts and Justin Fields to win their last two games. The game will also be in Denver, which will surely be a hostile environment for the rookie. Dart has shown enough to be worth a look as a second QB or bye-week fill-in off the waiver wire, even in this tough matchup. Looking further ahead, he'll have a tough rematch with the Eagles on the road in Week 8 before matchups with the 49ers and Bears that look a little more favorable. Even if he isn't an elite play in those matchups, his rushing production is enough to keep him as a viable fantasy option in most formats.

    From RotoBaller

Tez Johnson Oct 14 10:40am ET
    Tez Johnson

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Tez Johnson seems to be trending towards a potential breakout game against the Lions in Week 7, since the Bucs will likely need him to take on a larger load due to injuries at the position. Mike Evans (hamstring), Emeka Egbuka (hamstring), and Chris Godwin Jr. (fibula) are all uncertain this week and likely to be limited if available. Johnson could be the next man up for the Bucs and offers a ton of upside as a big-play specialist against the Lions, when the Bucs will need big plays to keep up with the high-scoring Detroit offense in the Motor City. Johnson had just one catch for a 45-yard touchdown in Week 6 after snagging four catches for 59 yards in Week 5 in Seattle. His speed and after-the-catch elusiveness give the seventh-round rookie a very high ceiling, although he has never carried the workload of a WR1 this season. He's high-risk but also potentially brings high reward from this week's waiver wire.

    From RotoBaller

Jake Tonges Oct 14 10:30am ET
    Jake Tonges

San Francisco 49ers tight end Jake Tonges has done a great job filling in for George Kittle (hamstring), who is still on IR and has not had his practice window opened yet. Tonges grabbed a season-high seven catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in Week 5's overtime win and followed that up with six catches for 58 yards in Week 6's loss to the Bucs. With so many receiver injuries, Tonges could stay involved even after Kittle returns, but at least until then, he's a strong option to snag from the waiver wire if you need help at tight end. The Niners host the Falcons on Sunday Night Football this week before going on the road for games in Houston and New York. When Kittle returns, Tonges' playing time and value will be much shakier, but keep a close eye on the team's practice reports to see if Tonges will get at least one more week of filling in and being fantasy relevant.

    From RotoBaller

CeeDee Lamb Oct 14 10:10am ET
    CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (ankle) has been sidelined since Week 3, when he left the game with a high ankle sprain before getting any catches against the Bears. However, owner Jerry Jones said that Lamb's potential availability for Week 7's matchup with the Commanders is "looking good." The fact that Lamb was never placed on IR gives him a chance to get back in the lineup this week, although Jones has been known to be ahead of schedule sometimes with his updates. Keep a close eye on practice reports this week to see how Lamb is involved, but if he does return, he'll be in a great matchup as he returns to his role in Dallas's high-volume passing game. His return would slightly downgrade George Pickens and Jake Ferguson, while probably taking any sleeper value away from Ryan Flournoy and Jalen Tolbert, who have helped fill in during his absence.

    From RotoBaller

Harold Fannin Jr. Oct 14 10:00am ET
    Harold Fannin Jr.

Cleveland Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. has already been through the waiver wire cycle this season, but the rookie is heating back up and could be even more productive in the coming weeks. Fannin led the Browns with seven catches and 81 receiving yards in Week 6 against the Steelers. He was second on the team with 10 targets behind only Jerry Jeudy. He seems to have formed a strong connection with rookie QB Dillon Gabriel, and the Browns seem ready to let Gabriel air it out, as evidenced by his massive 52 pass attempts on Sunday in Pittsburgh. Fannin played 80% of snaps in Week 6 and could be in for even more snaps and targets depending on the status of David Njoku (knee), who left the game and returned twice before ultimately being ruled out in the fourth quarter. If Njoku misses time, there will be even more work for Fannin, although his target share is already impressive enough to make him a strong waiver wire pickup and potential play this week in a very favorable matchup against the Dolphins.

    From RotoBaller

Dawson Knox Oct 14 9:50am ET
    Dawson Knox

Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox found the end zone for the first time this year in Monday night's 24-14 loss to the Falcons. He only had one catch on his two targets, but made it count for a 19-yard score. Knox was in a more prominent role with Dalton Kincaid out. Kincaid was originally listed as questionable due to an oblique injury, but was ruled out before kickoff. Knox has been getting decent playing time but not a ton of targets this season. After Monday's game, he has seven catches for 73 yards in his six games, but he could be a deep league option if Kincaid isn't able to return after the Bills' bye week. Knox has shown he can contribute when in a larger role, but his targets are typically limited when Kincaid is healthy. Since Buffalo is headed to its bye in Week 7, the waiver wire probably has better options available for a short-term solution in most leagues.

    From RotoBaller

Kameron Johnson Oct 14 9:40am ET
    Kameron Johnson

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Kameron Johnson led the Bucs with 64 receiving yards by catching all four of his targets in Week 6, and he could be a big part of the team's passing game in Week 7 as well after Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) was forced to leave that game with an injury after Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin Jr. (fibula), and Jalen McMillan (neck) were all out already. Johnson is a second-year receiver that the Bucs signed as an undrafted free agent before last year. He played in five games and had just one target all of last year, and he hadn't had a target before Sunday's big game against the 49ers. His role is uncertain moving forward, but with so many injury issues in Tampa Bay and an effective passing offense, Johnson does bring potential upside in the short term.

    From RotoBaller

Michael Mayer Oct 14 9:40am ET
    Michael Mayer

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer returned from his concussion and stepped right into a key role for the Raiders in their Week 6 win over the Titans. He filled in for the injured Brock Bowers (knee) and played 92% of the team's offensive snaps, catching five of his team-high seven targets for 50 yards and a touchdown. If Bowers is out again in Week 7, which seems likely to be the case, Mayer will be an outstanding tight end option for the Raiders' divisional matchup with the Chiefs. The Chiefs have been very good against tight ends overall this year, but Sam LaPorta did have a good showing against them on Sunday Night Football, which could indicate a good game is coming for Mayer if he stays so involved in Week 7. Mayer should be owned in all leagues and can be a TE1 if Bowers is ruled out.

    D.J. Moore Oct 14 9:20am ET
    D.J. Moore

Chicago Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore left the stadium after Monday's game in an ambulance and was taken to a local area hospital for what the team is calling "precautionary medical evaluation." He will remain in the area overnight, per the team. He caught three of his five targets for 42 yards in his team's win and was on the field for the final game-winning drive. Exactly what the injury or illness is that caused the need for the hospitalization is unclear at this point, or if it will impact his availability going forward. Stay tuned for updates on Moore as the Bears are on a short week, hosting the Saints in Week 7 on Sunday afternoon. If Moore is unavailable, more work would potentially be available for Olamide Zaccheaus and rookie receiver Luther Burden III.

    From RotoBaller

Zach Ertz Oct 14 3:03am ET
    Zach Ertz

Washington Commanders TE Zach Ertz had a game-high six catches (on six targets) for 43 yards and a touchdown in a Week 6 loss to the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Spin: It was a bit of a bounce-back performance for Ertz, who'd managed just five catches and 59 yards over the previous three games combined. The veteran is a nice security blanket for Jayden Daniels, though his lack of consistency makes him a tough sell as a TE1. If your league is deep enough to carry a second tight end, Ertz could fill that role ably. Otherwise, he's probably better left on waivers to be used as a possible streaming option in plus matchups when needed.

Chris Moore Oct 14 2:53am ET
    Chris Moore

Washington Commanders WR Chris Moore tallied three receptions for a team-high 46 yards and a touchdown against the Chicago Bears in Week 6. Moore was targeted five times.

    From TheHuddle

Jeremy McNichols Oct 14 2:23am ET
    Jeremy McNichols

Washington Commanders RB Jeremy McNichols ran twice for five yards in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears. He also chipped in with three catches (on four targets) for 30 yards.

    From TheHuddle

    D.J. Moore Oct 14 1:23am ET
    D.J. Moore

Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore (undisclosed) was taken via ambulance to a local hospital after the team's Week 6 game against the Washington Commanders for precautionary reasons, per ESPN's Courtney Cronin. During the game, Moore caught three passes (on five targets) for 42 yards. He also ran twice for 10 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Obviously, the immediate concern is for Moore's health, and we'll have to wait for updates as to his condition. On the field, Moore has slid into a supporting role this year, pushing him down the fantasy rankings from a WR2, where he began the season, to what's now more of a WR4.

    From TheHuddle

Zach Ertz Oct 14 12:40am ET
    Zach Ertz

Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz caught all six of his targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 25-24 loss to the Bears. After going without a catch for the first time since the 2014 season in last week's game against the Chargers, Ertz bounced back and led Washington with six receptions, including a red-zone touchdown. It tied his season high for receptions and marked his third touchdown of the year. It was good to see the veteran get back on track and be a reliable weapon for Daniels and the Washington passing attack, which has been beaten up with injuries. Ertz will remain in TE1 territory for Week 7 in a potential high-scoring matchup in Dallas.

    From RotoBaller

Jayden Daniels Oct 14 12:30am ET
    Jayden Daniels

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels completed 19 of 26 passes for 211 yards with three touchdowns and an interception while adding 52 rushing yards on 10 carries in one-point loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday night. Daniels also lost a costly fumble on the team's final drive that ultimately led to Chicago's game-winning field goal. It wasn't the sharpest performance for the second-year quarterback, but he still managed to move the ball up and down the field with a banged-up receiving core. The 52 rushing yards were a positive sign to see and were also his most since Week 1, as he made a few spectacular runs on scrambles. Daniels will project again as an elite QB1 in a potential shootout next week in Dallas.
