The Pittsburgh Steelers added running back Jaylen Warren (knee) to the Week 4 injury report, and he's now questionable to play on Sunday versus the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Warren was on the injury report this week and was listed with a knee, but also as veteran rest when he was limited in Thursday's practice. The 26-year-old's status is obviously worth keeping an eye on going into Sunday's international game, but we'd be surprised if he were ruled inactive. But if he doesn't play, Kenneth Gainwell would be a popular waiver-wire pickup and flex plug-and-play this weekend. Rookie Kaleb Johnson, who was a healthy scratch last week, would likely be active as a change-of-pace option alongside Trey Sermon. Warren has been very productive through three weeks and is a must-start RB if he plays.

Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said on Friday that the depth wide receivers on the roster are ready for the moment in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons, with top wideout Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) being ruled out, according to Zach Selby of Commanders.com. At the top of that list is second-year pass-catcher Luke McCaffrey, who caught all three of his targets for 56 yards and his first career touchdown in the Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders after McLaurin was injured. In addition to McCaffrey, rookie Jaylin Lane and Chris Moore will have additional opportunities in the passing game this weekend with McLaurin ruled out. McLaurin's absence could extend into Week 5, too, so McCaffrey and Lane are worth a look on the waiver wire in deeper leagues. Limiting McCaffrey's streaming appeal in Week 4 is the fact that quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) will miss a second straight game.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jonnu Smith (hip) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 26, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players can check the inactive list to see if Smith will be available for Week 4. He has been a short yardage option in the passing game but has seen a decent amount of targets in each game. He probably can be avoided in most leagues even if he is active.
From TheHuddle
Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard (calf) is listed as questionable to play on Sunday in the Week 4 game against the New England Patriots due to a calf injury, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Hubbard didn't pop up on this week's injury report until Thursday and was listed as a limited participant. He was limited again on Friday and was seen with a sleeve on his leg. The 26-year-old is probably on the right side of questionable for this weekend, but fantasy managers are going to need to check on Sunday morning to see if he's active for Carolina. Even if Hubbard plays, he could be susceptible to losing valuable backfield touches to backup Rico Dowdle against a Patriots defense that has been strong against the run through three games. If Hubbard is ruled out entirely, it will bump Dowdle up to flex territory in fantasy for those in need at the RB position.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette (hamstring) has officially been ruled out for the Week 4 road tilt against the New England Patriots on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It will be the second straight game that Legette will miss after he was unable to practice at all this week. He will need to get back on the practice field next week if he wants to return for a Week 5 matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Rookie first-rounder Tetairoa McMillan (calf) is also questionable this weekend, so the Panthers could be pretty thin at wideout. Tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) will also miss multiple weeks with a high-ankle sprain. It's setting up nicely for New England's defense in this one. With Legette out, Hunter Renfrow, David Moore, and Brycen Tremayne will battle for additional snaps and targets. Renfrow would be worth a look as a sleeper, but probably only if McMillan is out as well.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) has officially been ruled out for Sunday's Week 4 game against the Atlanta Falcons, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Daniels will miss a second straight game due to a knee sprain that he suffered in Week 2. The good news is that Daniels made progress this week and put in a few limited practices, which will give him a much better chance to make his return in a Week 5 date against the Los Angeles Chargers. Washington will also be without star wideout Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) this weekend, forcing Deebo Samuel Sr., Luke McCaffrey, and rookie Jaylin Lane in starting three-wide sets against the Falcons. Veteran Marcus Mariota looked good in his first start of the year in last week's win over the Las Vegas Raiders, and he'll once again be in play as a QB2 streamer in superflex leagues.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn is calling wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) "week-to-week," and he's officially been ruled out for the Week 4 contest against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. McLaurin did not practice all week and sought multiple medical opinions, including from a core-muscle specialist. Surgery has been ruled out for now, but it's looking like the 30-year-old could be facing a multi-week absence. Fantasy managers should consider him very up in the air to return for a Week 5 tilt against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Commanders will also be without quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) for the second straight week, so they will be missing two of their best players this weekend against Atlanta. With McLaurin out, Luke McCaffrey and rookie Jaylin Lane will see an increase in snaps and targets behind Deebo Samuel Sr.
From RotoBaller
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (concussion) is missing practice for a third straight day this week on Friday, according to James Boyd of The Athletic. Pierce suffered a concussion in the Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans and appears unlikely to suit up this weekend against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. The 25-year-old will most likely be ruled out here soon on Friday. He's seen his involvement tick up the last two weeks after a slow one-catch season opener, and Pierce has nine grabs on 13 targets for 171 yards through the first three weeks. However, fantasy managers in deeper leagues will need to move him to their benches in Week 4. With Pierce not expected to play on Sunday, it will mean more targets for receivers Michael Pittman Jr., Josh Downs, and Adonai Mitchell, and rookie tight end Tyler Warren.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said that wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Greg Auman of FOX Sports. Despite the questionable tag, Godwin is still trending in the right direction to make his 2025 debut after suffering an ugly ankle dislocation in Week 7 of last year. It's good timing with fellow wideout Mike Evans (hamstring) set to miss at least a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 3. The 29-year-old Godwin will be a big part of Tampa's passing attack this year, but it might take him a bit to get up to speed after such a long layoff from game action. Expect the Bucs to ease him back into the offense this weekend if he's officially active, with rookie Emeka Egbuka and Sterling Shepard likely seeing more targets.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (biceps) resumed throwing the football before practice on Friday, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. Mayfield has been limited in practice this week with a biceps injury in his right arm. The 30-year-old veteran is one of the toughest players in the league and is expected to be active in a Week 4 showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles, but it's fair to wonder if he'll be limited in what he can do down the field on Sunday. He was seen wearing a sleeve on his right throwing arm on Thursday. In addition to potentially not being 100 percent this weekend, Mayfield will be without top receiver Mike Evans, who is expected to miss multiple weeks with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 3. In a less-than-ideal matchup against Philly, Mayfield should be viewed as a shaky QB streamer this week in fantasy.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns running backs coach Duce Staley said that rookie RB Dylan Sampson will get more playing time as the season goes on and they'll have a 1-2-3 punch with fellow rookie Quinshon Judkins and Jerome Ford, according to Scott Petrak. Sampson began the 2025 season splitting the backfield workload with Ford while Judkins dealt with an off-the-field issue. He had 12 carries for 29 yards and also caught all eight of his targets for an extra 64 yards in the season-opening loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but in the two games since Judkins has returned, Sampson has just five combined carries for eight yards and has caught three passes for 13 yards. The 21-year-old is apparently going to be more involved as the season progresses, but his weekly fantasy ceiling and floor will remain low as long as Judkins dominates Cleveland's backfield work.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt (knee) is on the practice field on Friday, according to John Keim of ESPN. However, Croskey-Merritt wasn't doing much with the team doing special teams work in the period of practice open to the media. The 24-year-old did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday due to a sore knee, so his status is definitely worth watching as Sunday's Week 4 game against the Atlanta Falcons approaches. It's a good sign that JCM was on the field on Friday, but it doesn't guarantee that he'll be active this weekend. If Croskey-Merritt can suit up in Week 4, he'll be an RB3/flex option, at best, in a backfield that remains a committee after the season-ending injury to Austin Ekeler (Achilles) in Week 2. If JCM doesn't get the green light this weekend, both Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Jeremy McNichols would jump onto the flex radar against Atlanta.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns running backs coach Duce Staley said that rookie RB Quinshon Judkins got the foundation of the offense during spring workouts and that it's "showing up now" despite his late arrival due to off-the-field issues this summer during training camp and the preseason, according to Scott Petrak. Judkins didn't make his NFL debut until Week 2, but he saw 10 carries in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens, rushing for 61 yards (6.1 yards per carry). The 21-year-old from Ohio State looked good again in last week's upset win over the Green Bay Packers and had an expanded role, rushing for 94 yards and his first career touchdown on 18 rushing attempts. The second-rounder is already Cleveland's clear RB1 ahead of Jerome Ford and fellow rookie Dylan Sampson, and his big-play ability makes him a must-start in all fantasy leagues, even in a low-scoring Browns offense.
From RotoBaller
The Charlotte Observer's Alex Zietlow reports that Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard (calf) is warming up for Friday's practice, fitted with a compression sleeve on his leg. Hubbard was a surprise addition on Thursday's practice report after picking up a calf injury, but it's a positive sign to see him back out there the next day. While the team hasn't released its official report or injury designations for this weekend's road matchup with the New England Patriots, it appears that the Oklahoma State alum is on a trajectory to play. Whether his recent ailment will limit him remains to be seen, but it wouldn't be shocking to see backfield mate Rico Dowdle -- and potentially rookie Trevor Etienne -- see a slight bump in snap share. We'll know more about his status in a few hours.
From RotoBaller
According to The Athletic's Nicki Jhabvala, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) was not seen at Friday's practice. It's unfortunate news after the second-year signal-caller was able to log limited sessions the previous two days. Daniels was trending in the right direction for a bit, but a DNP on Friday makes this situation more murky than it appeared on Thursday. As of now, team doctors will decide if the 24-year-old is suited to play. Washington also seems likely to be without wide receivers Terry McLaurin (quad) and Noah Brown (groin, knee) in Week 4, meaning veteran QB Marcus Mariota could have a tougher time out down a few skill players against the hosting Atlanta Falcons.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) is practicing Friday and "looks fine," according to FOX Sports' Greg Auman. It wasn't specifically stated in what capacity the Penn State product practiced, but it's excellent news after he was tagged with a DNP the day prior. Godwin is trending toward making his return to the field in Week 4, and it comes at a perfect time with running mate Mike Evans (hamstring) dealing with a multi-week hamstring injury. If Godwin does suit up, it's reasonable to believe that Tampa Bay will be cautious with his reps. If that's the case, fellow wideouts Sterling Shepard, Ryan Miller, and Tez Johnson will all work behind Godwin and rookie Emeka Egbuka in some capacity.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills LB Matt Milano (pectoral) and DT Ed Oliver (foot) have been ruled out for Week 4.
From TheHuddle
Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quad) was not spotted at Friday's practice, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Three straight DNPs spell trouble for the veteran, as it seems highly unlikely that he'll be available for Sunday's outing with the hosting Atlanta Falcons. It's unfortunate news for McLaurin, who has started the season off slowly following his offseason hold-in. With teammate Noah Brown (groin, knee) also in danger of missing Week 4's contest, Deebo Samuel Sr., Jaylin Lane, Chris Moore, and Luke McCaffrey are set to man Washington's wide receiver corps on the road against Atlanta. Moore placed first last weekend regarding snaps amongst that grouping.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch noted on Friday that edge rusher Nick Bosa (knee) will undergo a procedure to repair his torn ACL. Reportedly, the 27-year-old will again have his surgery performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who handled the procedure on his left knee in 2020, as well as some of his teammates'. According to the team, the injury involves only Bosa's ACL, so it will be a less complicated surgery (and rehab) than that of his teammate Brandon Aiyuk's (knee). Regardless, the seventh-year pro will now begin the long road to recovery, and, likely, we don't see him until around the same time next season. Teammate Yetur Gross-Matos (knee) figures to rotate in behind Bryce Huff and Mykel Williams for the time being, as long as he's active.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield (biceps) resumed throwing Friday, Sept. 26, after being limited by a biceps injury.
Fantasy Spin: Tampa has a rough matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, and Mike Evans is out. Mayfield will be a low-end QB1 option this week.
