Calvin Austin III Jun 11 5:11pm CT
    Calvin Austin III

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni likes Calvin Austin III to be the team's No. 2 wideout behind DK Metcalf in 2025 after George Pickens was traded to the Dallas Cowboys this offseason. Azzanni said that Austin is being overlooked and that he is a "legit NFL receiver" that "gets separation all over the field." Roman Wilson and others will be working as a committee behind Metcalf and Austin to open the 2025 regular season. Austin, a former fourth-rounder (138th overall) in 2022 out of Memphis, caught 36 of his 58 targets for 548 yards and four touchdowns in 17 regular-season games (eight starts) in his second season in the NFL last year. He is definitely going to have a bigger role in 2025, but in what is expected to be a run-heavy offense with quarterback Aaron Rodgers likely in the last season of his career, we'd expect Austin to struggle for volume on a week-to-week basis.

KJ Hamler Jun 11 5:10pm CT
    KJ Hamler

Buffalo Bills WR KJ Hamler (undisclosed) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 10. Head coach Sean McDermott indicated that Hamler should be ready for training camp.

Jalen Nailor Jun 11 5:00pm CT
    Jalen Nailor

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jalen Nailor has bulked up in the offseason, with SKOR North's Judd Zulgad saying, "When you see him physically, you won't recognize him." Zulgad points out that fellow wideout Jordan Addison is likely to be suspended for two to three games to start the 2025 season for an off-field incident in Los Angeles last July, and Nailor is motivated headed into a contract year. The 26-year-old took a big step forward in his third NFL season in Minnesota in 2024, going for a 28-414-6 line on 42 targets over 17 regular-season games (seven starts) after catching 12 passes in his first two seasons. Nailor could have an expanded role early on if Addison is suspended, but he'll also face more competition from rookie third-rounder Tai Felton and free-agent addition Rondale Moore. For now, he remains outside of RotoBaller's top-100 fantasy receivers.

Omarion Hampton Jun 11 4:40pm CT
    Omarion Hampton

Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Greg Roman has been impressed with rookie first-round running back Omarion Hampton. "He's the total package. You don't see a lot of guys find a hole like he's doing right now," Roman said. The Bolts also signed Najee Harris in free agency this offseason, but Hampton figures to have a big role in his first year in the NFL and is already ranked higher than Harris at RotoBaller. The 22-year-old had over 1,500 rushing yards in his final two seasons at North Carolina and is extremely athletic. We already know the Chargers are going to run plenty under Roman and head coach Jim Harbaugh, and Hampton should reap the benefits. As far as his fantasy value goes, Harris is going to steal valuable touches as an all-around back, but Hampton will have clear RB2 upside and could easily be L.A.'s preferred RB by season's end.

Aaron Rodgers Jun 11 4:30pm CT
    Aaron Rodgers

Theoretically, The Athletic's Mike DeFabo writes that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers won't have as much pressure to win games with his right arm alone on a team that has the league's highest-paid defense and features a run-heavy offense that will limit his exposure. Pittsburgh pretty much did the same last year with Russell Wilson, and although they made the playoffs, they scored just 14.2 points per game in their final five games. There are plenty of reasons to be skeptical of the 41-year-old signal-caller, who now lacks mobility after tearing his Achilles in 2023. Rodgers was the NFL's worst QB against the blitz in 2024 and has thrown double-digit interceptions in his last two full seasons. His completion percentage (63%) was the fourth-lowest of any season in which he played at least 16 games. In a run-first offense, Rodgers will be a low-end QB2 in fantasy with minimal upside.

Baker Mayfield Jun 11 3:40pm CT
    Baker Mayfield

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield noted on Tuesday via the team's official transcript that the new offense is focusing on increasing the number of downfield shots during minicamp. "[We're] working on that, being able to connect on the chemistry we're trying to build right now," noted the Oklahoma product. "This is the time of year we're working on it. Obviously, you would love to have more down-the-field shots, but any completion is a good one." Mayfield's gripe with the offense from 2024 was that it relied heavily on YAC, and it sounds like they're trying to go away from that in 2025. It's worth noting that they weren't very efficient on deep balls last season, but they're certainly equipped to do so with their offensive skill players. More explosiveness would suit the offense well, but only time will tell if that's a suitable game plan for new offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard. NFL defenses have done well in recent seasons in limiting explosive plays.

Treylon Burks Jun 11 3:20pm CT
    Treylon Burks

Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan reported on Wednesday that wide receiver Treylon Burks (knee) is ahead of schedule in his recovery from the ACL injury he suffered in Week 6 of 2024. "I think if you asked me that question at the beginning of the offseason program, he's definitely doing, probably more than I thought, which is good," said Callahan. He also noted that he's hopeful the 25-year-old will be cleared for the start of training camp. For what it's worth, he's "at about 80%." Burks hasn't developed since Tennessee selected him No. 18 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, and he'll deal with more competition for playing time in 2025. The Titans added a plethora of pass-catching talent this offseason, including veteran Van Jefferson and intriguing rookie wideouts Xavier Restrepo, Chimere Dike, and Elic Ayomanor.

Tetairoa McMillan Jun 11 3:00pm CT
    Tetairoa McMillan

Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer notes that Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan (leg) is sidelined for Wednesday's practice due to precautionary reasons. Carolina's No. 8 overall pick in April's draft reportedly collided with a defensive back near the end of Tuesday's session. Per head coach Dave Canales, the Arizona product could return for Thursday's final practice. McMillan was superb over his final two seasons as a Wildcat, posting 174 receptions, 2,721 yards, and 18 touchdowns, and makes Carolina's offense all the more exciting ahead of the 2025 season. The 22-year-old should eventually evolve into quarterback Bryce Young's go-to target, and figures to be an intriguing asset this season in fantasy if Young can sustain the gains he exhibited late last year.

Buffalo Bills DE Joey Bosa (calf) said he believes he will be ready to participate when training camp begins.

Baltimore Ravens CB Chidobe Awuzie (ankle) and S Beau Brade (ankle) are both dealing with minor ankle injuries, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Brian Thomas Jr. Jun 11 2:40pm CT
    Brian Thomas Jr.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen reports that wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) is ok after leaving Wednesday's minicamp session with a shoulder injury. "He's fine. He absolutely could've gone back and played just bruised it a little bit," said Coen. He also noted that the 22-year-old was removed for precautionary reasons and was "completely cleared to play." Jacksonville can breathe a sigh of relief that their young, stud wideout avoided significant injury. It's still something to monitor, but it fortunately doesn't sound too serious. Barring health, Thomas Jr. is in an excellent position to build off a sensational rookie season that saw him produce a WR4 finish in PPR formats. Jacksonville's addition of Travis Hunter will dent his overall target upside, but shouldn't affect his production too much. The LSU product is a strong pick at the 1/2 turn in drafts.

Breece Hall Jun 11 2:30pm CT
    Breece Hall

When asked about the possibility of the New York Jets using a committee at running back this year, Breece Hall said, "I'm not obligated to anything. I've got to go and prove that I am the guy. I feel like I am a three-down back. Every day I'm going to prove I'm the best back on this roster and one of the best backs in the league." Hall will most definitely be a big part of the Jets' offense under new head coach Aaron Glenn, but he could lose touches to both Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis if he doesn't take a step forward in 2025. The 24-year-old had 209 carries for 876 rushing yards (career-low 4.2 yards per carry) and five touchdowns in 16 starts, adding 57 catches for 483 yards and three more scores. Hall's fantasy stock is definitely down, but his pass-catching prowess gives him a high floor, and he could be an excellent value pick in 2025 as a low-end RB1/high-end RB2.

Noah Brown Jun 11 2:20pm CT
    Noah Brown

Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (undisclosed) was carted off the field during mandatory minicamp practice on Wednesday with an undisclosed injury, according to The Washington Post's Nicki Jhabvala. Brown was able to walk off the field slowly under his own power before being carted to the locker room, but it's unclear what the severity of his injury is at this moment. The 29-year-old pass-catcher caught 35 of his 56 targets for 453 yards and one touchdown in 11 games (nine starts) in his first year with Washington last year and figures to open the 2025 campaign as the WR3 behind Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel Sr. if he's fully healthy. Unfortunately, that role isn't going to make the former seventh-rounder (239th overall) by the Dallas Cowboys in 2017 fantasy relevant in standard 12-team fantasy leagues.

    From RotoBaller

Ben Sinnott Jun 11 2:20pm CT
    Ben Sinnott

Washington Commanders tight end Ben Sinnott has stood out during offseason practices, according to head coach Dan Quinn. The Commanders selected Sinnott in the second round (53rd overall) in last year's draft out of Kansas State, but he was buried on the depth chart all year and caught only five passes for 28 yards and a touchdown in 17 regular-season games (two starts) in his first year in the NFL. The 22-year-old may be standing out this offseason, but he'll have a long way to go to find a bigger role in Washington's passing attack as long as veteran TE Zach Ertz stays healthy. There's also John Bates to contend with if Ertz were to miss any time. Sinnott does have the size and speed to be worth watching if he does get a bigger opportunity, but for now, he's off the radar in standard-sized fantasy leagues.

Joe Mixon Jun 11 1:53pm CT
    Joe Mixon

Updating a previous report, Houston Texans RB Joe Mixon (undisclosed) is no longer wearing a walking boot but is now wearing an ankle brace, according to sources. He seems to have a good chance to be ready for training camp.

Fantasy Spin: Mixon probably will be a full participant when camp starts and will continue to be the main running back for the Texans even after the team added Nick Chubb. He is coming off a successful 2024 season and will be a weekly starting option in most leagues.

Noah Brown Jun 11 1:03pm CT
    Noah Brown

Washington Commanders WR Noah Brown (undisclosed) was carted off the field during practice Wednesday, June 11, after suffering an undisclosed injury.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players should monitor the situation to see if Brown will miss an extended period of time because of the injury. He was performing well during offseason workouts, but players may have to avoid him in draft if it is a serious injury.

    From TheHuddle

Willie Snead Jun 11 1:03pm CT
    Willie Snead

Free-agent WR Willie Snead (Dolphins) is participating in the Los Angeles Chargers mandatory minicamp this week on a tryout basis.

Adam Thielen Jun 11 12:43pm CT
    Adam Thielen

Carolina Panthers WR Adam Thielen is not participating in practice Wednesday, June 11, but appears to be receiving the day off.

Fantasy Spin: Thielen does not need a lot of work this offseason to prepare for the season but should be a reliable option in the passing game this upcoming season. He will see a decent amount of targets in most games and could be a No. 4 or No. 5 receiver in fantasy leagues.

    From TheHuddle

Jonnu Smith Jun 11 12:33pm CT
    Jonnu Smith

Miami Dolphins TE Jonnu Smith has been excused from the mandatory minicamp and has received permission to seek a trade, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Fantasy Spin: Smith has been linked to the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason, but other teams like will have interest if he is available. He is coming off a terrific 2024 season and could be a low-end No. 1 fantasy tight end depending on his situation.

    From TheHuddle

Michael Gallup Jun 11 12:23pm CT
    Michael Gallup

Washington Commanders WR Michael Gallup (hamstring) is not participating in the mandatory minicamp this week because of a strained hamstring, according to a source.
