The Minnesota Vikings announced on Monday that they released cornerback Nahshon Wright. The 26-year-old defensive back finds himself on the open market this offseason after the Vikings acquired him in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys last August in exchange for Andrew Booth. Wright was a non-factor in his lone season in Minnesota, recording zero tackles in just one game after posting 37 tackles (27 solo), an interception and five pass breakups in 32 games (three starts) in his first three years in the NFL with the Cowboys. He only played 15 snaps for the Vikings, all of which came on special teams. Wright will mostly likely continue in a special-teams role for whatever organization takes a chance on him next. Dallas selected him in the third round (99th overall) in the 2021 NFL draft out of Oregon State.

The Las Vegas Raiders officially re-signed exclusive-rights free-agent defensive end Charles Snowden, defensive tackle Matthew Butler, linebacker Kana'i Mauga, offensive guard Jordan Meredith and cornerback Sam Webb on Monday. Snowden will return for a second season with the Raiders after recording 39 tackles (18 solo), 1.5 sacks, seven QB hits and four pass breakups in 16 games (nine starts). The 27-year-old went undrafted out of the University of Virginia before latching on with the Chicago Bears for his rookie season in 2021. He appeared in only two games that year and didn't record a single tackle in the Windy City. Snowden will merely be hoping to stand out again in a rotational role at defensive end in 2025 behind Maxx Crosby and Malcolm Koonce.

The Chicago Bears announced on Monday that they re-signed restricted free-agent defensive tackle Chris Williams and exclusive-rights free-agent defensive tackle Jonathan Ford, defensive end Daniel Hardy, offensive guard Bill Murray and cornerback Ameer Speed. In his first full season in the NFL with the Bears in 2024, Williams totaled 23 tackles (17 solo), three sacks and seven QB hits in 17 games (one start). The 26-year-old interior lineman will return for a second season in Chicago to provide rotational depth for the Bears defense. Williams went undrafted out of Wagner before joining the Indianapolis Colts for his rookie year in 2021. The 6-foot-3, 302-pounder had just six tackles (three solo) in 13 games (zero starts) in his first two years with the Colts.

The Atlanta Falcons announced on Monday that they re-signed restricted free-agent cornerback Dee Alford to an undisclosed one-year deal. Alford will return to the team in 2025 for his fourth season with the team after collecting 149 tackles (104 solo), 1.5 sacks, an interception, 24 pass breakups, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in 48 games (16 starts) the last three years with Atlanta. The 27-year-old was an undrafted free agent out of Tusculum. He had a career-high 83 tackles (61 solo), 11 pass breakups and a forced fumble in 16 games played (11 starts) last year. The Falcons originally did not tender an offer to Alford, but after he tested the free-agent market this offseason, he will return to the team to provide depth in the secondary. Alford will continue to work out of the slot for the Falcons.

The Carolina Panthers announced on Monday that they signed free-agent tight end Colin Granger to an undisclosed deal. Granger is a former Division I basketball player that is making a transition to football, so he'll be a long shot to make any kind of impact for the Panthers in 2025. The 23-year-old was a center for five years in college and started his collegiate career at Ohio University before spending two years at Western Carolina. He finished his career at Coastal Carolina. Granger has plenty of size at 6-foot-8, 245 pounds, but he'll be raw at the position and will join a TE room in Carolina that already includes Tommy Tremble, Ja'Tavion Sanders, Jordan Matthews, James Mitchell and Dominique Dafney. Granger averaged 52.3 percent in field goals and had 322 career rebounds in his five-year basketball career.

Exclusive-rights free-agent tight end Blake Whiteheart signed his tender offer from the Cleveland Browns on Monday and will officially return to the team in 2025. Whiteheart will head into his second season in Cleveland after catching six of nine targets for 51 yards and one touchdown in 11 games (two starts) in 2024. The 25-year-old once again won't be anywhere near the fantasy radar as he provides depth at the position for the Browns behind starter David Njoku. He went undrafted out of Wake Forest and began his NFL career in 2023 with the Arizona Cardinals, but he didn't receive a single target in two games played that year. In addition to Njoku and Whiteheart, the Browns also have Brenden Bates and Tre'McKitty on the TE depth chart this offseason.

The New York Giants are doing a lot of homework on running backs with the 2025 NFL draft right around the corner, according to The Bergen Record's Art Stapleton. It's a good bet that the Giants will dip into the running back class to take advantage of the depth of talent there this year. Tyrone Tracy Jr. impressed as a rookie with the G-Men last year, but depending on what the Giants do at the position in the draft, he may be forced to share valuable backfield touches in his sophomore season. Devin Singletary is also still in the team's RB room, but Tracy was their leading ball-carrier in 2024 with 192 carries for 839 yards and five touchdowns, adding 38 receptions for 284 yards and a touchdown through the air. Those that have Tracy in dynasty/keeper formats won't be stoked if the Giants add competition for him in the early rounds in late April.

The Denver Broncos re-signed exclusive-rights free-agent tight end Lucas Krull to an undisclosed deal on Monday, according to KPRC's Aaron Wilson. Krull will return for a third season in Denver after catching a career-high 19 passes on 23 targets for 152 yards and no touchdowns in 13 regular-season games (two starts) in 2024. In his first year with the Broncos in 2023, the 26-year-old had only eight catches on 14 targets for 95 yards and his first career touchdown in seven games (two starts). Krull will remain well off the fantasy radar and will head to training camp this summer as tight end depth behind newcomer Evan Engram and Adam Trautman while competing with Nate Adkins. He debuted in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints in 2022 and didn't receive any targets in just one game played after going undrafted out of Pittsburgh.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe had private workouts with the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints that were described as "impressive," sources told FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Milroe also met with key members of the New York Jets' offensive staff and the Pittsburgh Steelers before his Pro Day last month. The Browns might be the most desperate team looking for a quarterback heading into this year's NFL draft with Kenny Pickett currently projected to be their starter under center in 2025. However, there are plenty of other teams looking at Milroe, who has above-average speed and a strong arm. Milroe would have the best opportunity to start if he were to land in Cleveland -- Deshaun Watson (Achilles) is expected to miss the entire season. He threw for 2,844 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11 picks last year at Alabama and also had 726 rushing yards and 20 additional scores. Milroe could come off the board late in the first round.

Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson has multiple pre-draft visits lined up this week, including with the Cincinnati Bengals, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Henderson is currently ESPN's third-ranked running back in the 2025 NFL draft. Chase Brown was a stud last year as Cincinnati's lead back, but they are looking to add someone else to their backfield to take some of the pressure off of him. The 22-year-old Henderson has been moving up draft boards in what is considered a very strong and deep class at the position. He averaged 7.0 yards per carry in his final season with the Buckeyes in 2024 and finished with a total of 3,761 yards and 42 touchdowns in his time at Ohio State. Henderson also caught 77 passes for 833 yards and six touchdowns as a receiver. If he can stay healthy, Henderson could be fantasy relevant right away, depending on where he ends up.

After previously being pretty sure that the Cleveland Browns would take a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick in this year's NFL draft, ESPN's Adam Schefter said on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday that signs are now pointing to Cleveland using the second overall pick on University of Colorado two-way player Travis Hunter. The Browns wanted to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 2 pick, but now it's become clear that the Tennessee Titans are going to hold onto the top pick to take Ward. Schefter says the Browns could take Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter to pair him with All-Pro pass-rusher Myles Garrett, but the current intel he's received points to their pick being Hunter. The Browns really liked what they saw out of the Heisman Trophy winner at his Pro Day last Friday, and Schefter believes they view him more as a receiver than as a defensive back.

Former Miami Hurricanes tight end prospect Elijah Arroyo visited with the Houston Texans today and plans to visit with the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday. The New York Giants will host him on Wednesday. Arroyo had his most productive campaign with the Hurricanes in 2024, posting 35 receptions and 590 receiving yards with seven touchdowns. While it isn't a world-breaking stat line, it far surpasses the 11 catches and 163 yards he racked up over the previous three seasons. The 22-year-old projects to be an average NFL starter per the league's standards, but the landing spot will undoubtedly factor into his growth and production as a player. As it stands, the Browns project unfavorably considering the presence of David Njoku. The Giants, however, could be a nice spot for Arroyo with their lack of competition in the tight end room and pass-catching weapons overall.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, former Ohio State Buckeye wide receiver Emeka Egbuka is visiting with the Green Bay Packers on Monday and Tuesday. The 22-year-old spent Friday and Saturday with the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas holds pick No. 12 in the first round and No. 44 in the second, while Green Bay picks No. 23 and No. 54. Chicago has also been linked to Egbuka -- selecting sixth in the second round. The Tacoma native is generally ranked as a top-five wide receiver prospect in this class and the eighteenth prospect on Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board rankings. Egbuka twice went over 1,000 yards during his collegiate career and profiles as more of a technician/possession receiver. He would be a fine pass-catching option for fantasy if either of the aforementioned teams selected him.

Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team reports the Jacksonville Jaguars have picked up defensive end Travon Walker's fifth-year option. The move adds $14.75 million to his deal, and he'll become a free agent following the 2026 season. Walker has been solid over the past two seasons -- starting all 34 games for the team while accumulating 130 tackles, 20.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumbles recovered. Perhaps not quite playing up to his first-overall draft price; it's not a bad two-year stretch for any player. That said, the Jaguars notched just two sacks per game last season despite Walker and bookend teammate Josh Hines-Allen recording 18.5 sacks combined. Jacksonville has done nothing to improve their pass rush in free agency, so it leads one to believe they'll likely address that aspect in the draft.

The Las Vegas Raiders are hosting several top draft prospects this week, including Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty and University of Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Both Jeanty and Ewers will fly into Vegas. While Ewers would be a reach for the Raiders' sixth overall pick in the first round of this year's NFL draft, they also hold the No. 37 overall pick in the second round. Although the Raiders added veteran Raheem Mostert in free agency this offseason, they are still looking for a difference-maker at the position, and Jeanty is the clear No. 1 RB prospect in this year's draft class. Vegas has gained a lot of steam as a potential landing spot for Jeanty at sixth overall. The Raiders also signed quarterback Geno Smith to an extension recently, but Ewers could be selected as the eventual successor under center.

The Minnesota Vikings have running back Aaron Jones penciled in as their starting RB again in 2025 after paying him more to return ($20 million over two seasons). However, ESPN's Kevin Seifert writes that new RB Jordan Mason isn't going to be a typical backup after they acquired him in a trade from the San Francisco 49ers. Head coach Kevin O'Connell has been very clear that he wants to pull back on Jones' usage after he set career-highs in snaps (700), rushing attempts (255) and total touches (306) in 2024. "When he has historically had that 1A/1B backfield structure, he can be a total game-changer every time he touches the ball," O'Connell said. "So it was always about bringing Aaron back ... but what are we going to pair him with?" It's obviously bad news for Jones' chances of an RB1 finish in fantasy in 2025, with Mason expected to be used in short-yardage and goal-line situations for the Vikes.

former Pro Bowl cornerback Shaquill Griffin is scheduled to visit with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday, sources told FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Griffin is one of the top free agents still available and he appeared in 17 regular-season games (three starts) for the Minnesota Vikings last year while recording 41 tackles (33 solo), two interceptions and six pass breakups in his eighth year in the NFL. It would be a homecoming for the 29-year-old defensive back if he were to sign with Seattle, as he spent the first four years of his career with the Seahawks after they took him in the third round (90th overall) in 2017 out of Central Florida. Griffin made his only Pro Bowl in Seattle in 2019, when he had 65 tackles (45 solo) and 13 pass breakups in 14 regular-season starts. He hasn't started more than seven games since 2022, but the 435 pass-coverage snaps he played in 2024 were his most since 2021.

Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter had breakfast on Sunday in State College, Pa., with New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll and is also scheduled for a top-30 visit with the Giants in New Jersey on Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Carter figures to be a top-three pick in the upcoming NFL draft, and the G-Men hold the third overall pick behind the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns. The 21-year-old defensive end is the clear top pass-rushing talent in this year's draft class, even though he's coming off foot and shoulder injuries that kept him from participating in the scouting combine back in February. He was the 2024 Big 10 Defensive Player of the Year and would be a big-time addition to the Giants' pass rush across from Kayvon Thibodeaux. It would be a shocker if Carter isn't the first defensive player off the board in this year's draft.

Dynasty | The Cardinals have signed tight end Trey McBride to a contract extension. Dynasty Analysis: It's a four-year deal worth $76 million. The $19 million average value per year makes McBride the highest paid tight end in NFL history and includes a massive $43 million in guaranteed money. McBride was fantastic last year, scoring up at the top with the likes of Brock Bowers and George Kittle in the elite tight end category. His 111/1.146/2 may actually indicate his floor as the touchdown total he's posted (six in 49 career games) is honestly bound to increase at some point. McBride remains one of a handful of tight ends worth selling the farm for in dynasty leagues.

Dynasty | Trey Lance has signed a one-year deal with the Chargers. Dynasty Analysis: And somehow this is where his career is. Once thought of as an elite-level prospect, Lance couldn't stay healthy in San Francisco or beat out Cooper Rush in Dallas, leading to very little interest this off-season. He eventually flirted with playing in Canada, but the Chargers finally found reason to bring him aboard on a relatively inexpensive (around $6 million) contract. He'll presumably need to beat out Taylor Heinicke to secure a roster spot, but the Chargers could keep him behind Justin Herbert, regardless. Still, there's really no dynasty value left here.
