Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. had his worst game since taking over as the team's starting quarterback on Sunday against the Panthers. He completed only 18 of 36 pass attempts for 172 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. On Monday, in his press conference, head coach Raheem Morris said, "He was off... I don't want to take away the fact that he did not play well." Morris added that Penix "Got a little down on himself, got a little upset." Penix is a first-year starter, so some inconsistency is to be expected, but hopefully, he can avoid such a drastic down game again this season. He and the 1-2 Falcons are home this week against the Commanders before heading into a Week 5 bye week. For now, Penix will remain the starter, although more games like Sunday's could result in calls for Kirk Cousins to take back over.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (ankle) suffered a high ankle sprain on Sunday against the Bears, but on Tuesday, team owner Jerry Jones said his injury isn't considered "on the extreme end." However, Lamb still does not have an exact timeline. The team could still opt to place Lamb on IR, but a report on Monday from Ian Rapoport said that Lamb is expected to miss two games but not land on IR. That would line up with Jones' statements on Tuesday, and could put Lamb on track to return in Week 6 against the Panthers or possibly Week 7 against the rival Commanders in a home divisional matchup. While Lamb is out, George Pickens and Jake Ferguson will need to step up and take more targets, along with potentially larger roles for KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Tolbert as well.

Dynasty | Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton had three catches for 32 yards and a touchdown while adding a 95-yard punt return for another score in a win against New Orleans. Dynasty Analysis: Horton has been earning more and more playing time and this certainly won't put an end to that. He was second on the team in targets in this one and seems to be pushing Cooper Kupp for the WR2 role at this point. Horton still has a ways to go and it's fair to wonder if Sam Darnold can make not one but two receivers relevant but that sure did happen on Sunday. Horton looks like a serious rookie draft steal at this point.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams finished Monday Night's win over the Ravens with only two catches on three targets for 43 yards. He finished second on the team in receiving yards, behind only Amon-Ra St. Brown, and St. Brown was also the only wide receiver who got more targets than Williams. His decreased production was mostly a result of the game script, since the Lions were able to run all over the Ravens, with David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs combining for 218 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. Williams is still a big-play threat and will look to bounce back with a better game next week at home when the Lions take on the Browns.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff led his team to a huge road win in Baltimore on Monday Night and re-established his team as one of the teams to beat in the NFC. However, his total stats were not that spectacular since he threw for just 202 passing yards and one touchdown, while also adding six rushing yards on four carries. Goff wasn't asked to do as much heavy lifting since the "Sonic and Knuckles" tandem of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs was absolutely dominant on the ground, totaling 218 rushing yards on 34 carries and scoring four rushing touchdowns. Goff and the Lions will look to claim a third straight win when they come home for a Week 4 matchup against the Browns. Goff will remain a high-upside play, but he is volatile because the rest of his team is so strong that he can have a quiet day while his team still dominates.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown hauled in seven of his eight targets for a team-leading 77 receiving yards and his fourth touchdown of the season. The Lions' ground game was firing on all cylinders with both David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs posting huge games, but the offense still found ways to get St. Brown involved, including his third-quarter touchdown, which came on an 18-yard strike from Jared Goff. St. Brown's score tied the game at 21-21, and the Lions added 17 points in the fourth quarter to win, 38-31. St. Brown will continue to be an elite play as the centerpiece of his team's passing attack as they host the Browns in Week 4. Cleveland has been good against opposing receivers despite their 0-3 record, but St. Brown is still a strong option since he's so involved.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers was limited to only two catches for 13 yards on three targets on Monday Night Football, as his team lost 38-31 to slip to 1-2 on the season. Flowers was locked down by Lions cornerback D.J. Reed, and he didn't even have a catch until the second half. Flowers was coming off a hot start to the season with seven catches for 143 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 and seven catches for 75 yards and a touchdown in Week 2. In Week 3, though, he was much less involved as the targets went mostly to Rashod Bateman (7) and Mark Andrews (6) instead of the dynamic third-year receiver from Boston College. The Ravens will need to find a way for him to be more involved next week as they head on the road to take on the Chiefs in a huge AFC showdown.

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry racked up 50 yards on his 12 carries and scored a 28-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. He added a seven-yard catch on his only target, but he also had another costly fumble late in the game, when his team trailed 28-24 and was looking to drive for a potential score to take the lead. Instead, the Lions kicked a field goal after the fumble and went on to win 38-31. The Ravens dropped to 1-2 with the loss, and both their losses came in close games after late Henry fumbles. He and his team will look to bounce back next week, but they're in a tough matchup on the road against the Chiefs. While he has three touchdowns and 242 rushing yards through three games, his late-game fumbles are definitely becoming an issue and a storyline.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder) is expected to miss 2-4 weeks due to a dislocated shoulder. The second-year running back suffered this injury during their Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday evening. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status, but it appears Tracy will avoid a stint on the injured reserve. During the first three games of the season, Tracy took 22 carries for 68 yards and caught eight of his 13 targets for 54 yards. While he remains idle, managers should expect rookie Cam Skattebo to take the lead in the backfield. Since Week 2, Skattebo has already seen his workload increase, and with Tracy sidelined, he should see the majority of the opportunities.

San Francisco 49ers running back Brian Robinson Jr. handled just two carries for 22 yards in the team's Week 3 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Robinson played the change-of-pace role in Weeks 1 and 2, garnering snap shares of 25% and 22% and seeing nine and six rushes, respectively. On Sunday, he was all but forgotten, seeing the field for just five of the team's 65 offensive snaps. He didn't see a single target. His first carry of the day didn't come until the third quarter, and the second, a 19-yard pickup representing the bulk of his production, came halfway through the fourth quarter. Robinson's fantasy value at this point is solely as a handcuff for superstar Christian McCaffrey, who, with a league-leading 77 touches through three games, looks as healthy as ever.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne drew the start in Week 3 after Jauan Jennings (ankle/shoulder) was ruled out Sunday morning. Bourne saw six targets and finished with four receptions for 38 yards in the 16-15 win over the Arizona Cardinals. In his starting role, Bourne saw his snap share shoot up to 73% from last week's 49%, and his target share was a modest 16% (double that of Week 2). However, the uptick in production shouldn't be expected to last. Jennings is being considered day-to-day per ESPN's Nick Wagoner, and Demarcus Robinson has returned to the team after serving a three-week suspension. Either receiver's presence in Week 4 would cut into Bourne's workload, and if both were active, would negate Bourne's fantasy value almost entirely.

San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk caught a one-yard touchdown pass in Sunday's 16-15 win over the Arizona Cardinals. The score, four minutes into the fourth quarter, was the first trip to the end zone by either side and broke what was then a 6-6 tie. Even with the 49ers' injury woes in the first three weeks of the season, Juszczyk's fantasy appeal is nil. He is turned to so infrequently that his fluke touchdowns (the last time he had more than two in a season was 2020) simply aren't worth chasing. Through the first three games of 2025, Juszczyk has four receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown.

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews led the team in receptions (6), receiving yards (91), and touchdowns (2) in Week 3 versus the Detroit Lions. Andrews was targeted six times.

Fantasy Spin: Andrews was probably on the bench in a lot of leagues following back-to-back one-catch efforts to open the season. Hopefully nobody went too far and cut Andrews loose, as the veteran began 2024 slowly as well and ended up scoring a career-high 11 touchdowns. If they did, look to pluck him off waivers immediately. Granted, one of his TDs came in garbage time, but even though he's no longer competing for the No. 1 overall tight end spot, Andrews is still a capable veteran and a midrange TE1.

Baltimore Ravens WR DeAndre Hopkins had one reception (on two targets) for 13 yards against the Detroit Lions in Week 3.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins generated a little bit of buzz the first two weeks by scoring touchdowns, but the usage and targets have been low. In fairness, he did draw a pass interference call in the end zone on Monday night, so Lamar Jackson continues to look his way in the red zone. That's not enough to generate value outside of deeper leagues, however, and even there he's no more than roster depth.

Baltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry carried the ball 12 times for 50 yards and a touchdown against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. Henry, who added a seven-yard reception, also fumbled for the third consecutive game, losing his second fumble of the year.

Fantasy Spin: Henry ran for a 28-yard touchdown on Baltimore's opening drive. After that, crickets. In a dozen additional touches, he managed 29 yards. He also threw an ill-advised pass on a halfback option that was nearly intercepted and had a crucial fumble when the Ravens were down 28-24 that led to a field goal for the Lions. Despite Henry's struggles with ball security, the Ravens are going to stick with him, and fantasy owners should follow suit even after a couple of admittedly shaky performances. Keep Henry in your lineup.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson completed 21 of 27 passes for 288 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions against the Detroit Lions in Week 3. Jackson, who ran seven times for 35 yards, also absorbed seven sacks in the loss.

Fantasy Spin: Detroit did an excellent job of swarming Jackson, so that when he eluded one rusher another would be there to finish the play. His numbers were good, albeit a bit deceiving as he led a late TD drive in consolation time, but it wasn't a great performance. He'll look to be more impactful in Week 4 against the Chiefs. The last time they played, Jackson ripped off 122 yards on the ground. As ever, Jackson remains a high-end QB1.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews caught all six of his targets for 91 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-30 loss to Detroit. After going scoreless in the first two games of the season and catching only two balls total, Andrews found the end zone twice in Week 3. He's now scored eight times in his last nine regular-season games and will continue to be a reliable source of touchdowns. The Ravens offense is extremely dynamic and boasts a plethora of weapons, with Rashod Bateman leading the team in targets in this game, while Zay Flowers was left out with only two touches. That is the tradeoff with holding Ravens' weapons in fantasy, as there tend to be weeks like this. Andrews has been a reliable red zone weapon and should be viewed favorably as a TE1 moving forward.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries while catching five balls for 32 yards as a receiver against Baltimore on Monday night. Gibbs was not efficient on his rushes, gaining just three yards per carry. The 27 touches are tied for the third most he's had in his career, with the other games occurring because David Montgomery was out. He continues to be an absolute touchdown machine, scoring 39 touchdowns in 39 career games. The receiving value could be unlocked this year as well, as Goff has peppered him underneath with 18 receptions already in three games. Montgomery had a monster night as well, but this offense has shown to be plenty good enough to support both horses, and it looks like Gibbs is earning the bigger piece of the share. He's locked in as one of the best players in fantasy.

Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson completed 21 of 27 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 35 yards on seven carries on Monday night's 38-30 loss to Detroit. Jackson struggled a bit in this game against a good Lions pass rush, taking seven sacks for a loss of 55 yards. The seven sacks tie a career high. But he still helped move the ball efficiently otherwise and frequently relied on Mark Andrews, who caught all six of his targets for 91 yards and two touchdowns. The last touchdown came with 29 seconds remaining when the result was well decided, but the fantasy points all count the same. The defense hasn't held up for Baltimore so far, which could mean plenty of shootouts for Jackson and the Ravens offense. Jackson should continue to be viewed as the top fantasy QB.

Fantasy Spin: Seemingly every time a big play was needed, St. Brown made it. His 18-yard touchdown grab tied the game after Baltimore had rattled off 14 unanswered points, and his 20-yard catch on fourth down after the two-minute warning all but clinched the game. With several of the usual top wideouts dealing with quarterback trouble or injury issues -- such as Ja'Marr Chase, CeeDee Lamb (ankle), and Justin Jefferson -- St. Brown finds himself a legitimate contender for overall WR1 along with names like Puka Nacua and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Keep him locked in your lineup.
