Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (leg) notched another practice session on Friday as he and the team prepare for a Sunday night matchup with the hosting Los Angeles Rams in Week 12. The 29-year-old logged a full practice on Thursday for the first time since Week 5 as he attempts to make his way back from a fibula injury that's caused him to miss their last five games. While Godwin's status for Friday's session wasn't detailed, another uncapped practice would presumably put him on track to suit up, barring any setbacks over the next two days. The Buccaneers may limit his snaps on Sunday, but it'd be hard to sit the veteran if he's active, considering he'd be an instant boost to the team's pass attack. We'll know more about his designation for this weekend over the coming hours.

Los Angeles Chargers running back Kimani Vidal has been up and down as the team's primary rushing option over the previous few weeks. However, LA's backfield is due for a shift with teammate Omarion Hampton (ankle) working his way back to full health. Consistency has been an issue for Vidal, posting three outings of 95 or more rushing yards that were followed up with a performance of 30 or fewer. He was a fine fill-in while the team dealt with a myriad of injuries, but is set to see his touch share drop significantly as the rookie was expected to return at some point after the Chargers' bye week. It isn't a guarantee that Hampton will play when the team lines up against the Raiders in Week 13, meaning Vidal may have another week or two where he's playable. Still, his time as a viable fantasy asset is running thin.

With Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow) missing time due to both knee and elbow injuries, backup QB Marcus Mariota has gotten extended playing time in 2025. Across seven games (five starts) this season, the 32-year-old has completed 65.7% of his pass attempts for 1,065 yards, seven touchdowns, and five interceptions. Mariota also brings some juice with his legs, rushing for 193 yards and a touchdown on 27 attempts. However, Daniels was able to avoid surgery on his dislocated left elbow, which could allow him to return to the field shortly after the Commanders' Week 12 bye. At the same time, Washington is out of the playoff mix with a 3-8 record, so the team could choose to shut Daniels down and play for 2026. Still, the Commanders will face one of the NFL's best defenses in the Denver Broncos in Week 13. Mariota does not profile as a starting fantasy QB option in Week 13, which may be his last chance to start before Daniels returns.
From RotoBaller
Across eight games this season, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III has recorded 22 receptions for 242 yards and two touchdowns on 37 targets. It's been a struggle for the 26-year-old over in recent weeks, as he's hauled in just three catches for 19 yards on eight targets over his last two games. Perhaps most notably, Austin III saw a significant drop in playing time in the Steelers' Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Austin III played just 19 offensive snaps against Cincinnati, his lowest total in any game this season and nearly 20 fewer than fellow Steelers wideout Roman Wilson. Heading into a Week 12 matchup against the Chicago Bears, Austin III could be fading into a depth role in Pittsburgh. He should not be trusted as a fantasy starter against Chicago.
From RotoBaller
Through the first eight weeks of 2025, New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) was his team's RB1, recording 448 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 99 touches. However, Stevenson has missed New England's last three contests with a toe injury, opening the door for rookie back TreVeyon Henderson. Henderson has recorded 330 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns on 57 touches over the last three weeks. Stevenson has logged two limited practices so far this week, and his status for New England's Week 12 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals remains unclear. Even if Stevenson can return against Cincinnati, his workload may now be limited thanks to Henderson's breakout. If Stevenson is active in Week 12, he profiles as a low-end flex option for fantasy managers in a favorable matchup against Cincinnati. Should Henderson continue to perform, Stevenson's value may only continue to drop over the final weeks of the fantasy season.
From RotoBaller
Across 10 games this season, Denver Broncos tight end Evan Engram has recorded 32 catches for 260 yards and one touchdown on 50 targets. While the 31-year-old's role in the Denver offense as a short-area target has remained fairly stable for most of the 2025 season, he hasn't factored in the red zone and brings almost no explosive ability to the table at this point in his career. Despite earning at least five targets in six out of 10 contests, Engram has yet to crack 42 receiving yards in a game. Denver also has a deep cast of talented pass-catchers between wide receivers Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, and Marvin Mims Jr. The Broncos have their bye week in Week 12 before a Week 13 matchup against the Washington Commanders. However, even in a favorable matchup against the struggling Washington defense, Engram will be tough to trust as a starting fantasy tight end in Week 13.
From RotoBaller
Heading into their Week 12 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, the New York Jets announced that veteran Tyrod Taylor will be taking over for Justin Fields as the team's starting quarterback. The demotion is the next rough patch in what's been a rocky first season in New York for Fields. Across nine games, the 26-year-old has completed 62.7% of his pass attempts for 1,259 yards, seven touchdowns, and one interception. While Fields remains a threat with his legs (383 rushing yards, four touchdowns), he's averaged a career-low 6.2 yards per pass attempt while taking a sack on 11.7% of his drop-backs. Unless Taylor were to get injured, Fields is not expected to be re-inserted as the Jets' starter this season. It remains to be seen whether Fields will stay in New York for the 2026 season or if he will get another shot to be a starter elsewhere, but he's unlikely to carry fantasy value in redraft leagues for the remainder of 2025.
From RotoBaller
With Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (shoulder, foot) sidelined by injury since Week 4, fellow Bucs back Rachaad White had the first chance to assume the team's RB1 role. However, White is averaging less than four yards per rush attempt this season, and in Week 11, it appeared as though the team made a shift to running back Sean Tucker. In Tampa Bay's Week 11 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Tucker exploded for 140 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 21 touches while White recorded just 62 scrimmage yards on 12 touches. Irving will remain out for Tampa Bay's Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, which means both White and Tucker will likely get their share of playing time for another week. White has been a consistent feature in the passing game, recording 20 receptions for 110 yards on 23 targets in the six games Irving has missed. Still, White should be expected to continue to lose work to Tucker in the rushing game and profiles as a low-end flex option for fantasy managers in Week 12 against Los Angeles.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington has seen an increased role in the offense over the last few weeks. Primarily due to wideout Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) being sidelined the last few games, and Travis Hunter (knee) being out for the season. Unfortunately for Washington, the Jaguars brought in Jakobi Meyers from Las Vegas, and now all of a sudden, with Thomas Jr. logging limited practices all week, Meyers ramping up, and the Jaguars identifying themselves as a run-first offense lately with Travis Etienne and Bhayshul Tuten, the path to opportunities for Washington appears a bit fuzzier than before. Regardless, Washington has built good chemistry with Trevor Lawrence over the past month, as he has earned 28 targets over the past four games, even though he saw only two in Week 11. Washington profiles as a WR3 heading into a Week 12 matchup where the Jaguars get the Arizona Cardinals, who rank decently against wide receivers, but nothing to be frightened of. That said, if your team has wide receiver depth and needs to make a roster move for a high-cieling handcuff, or rostering someone with a solid fantasy playoff schedule, Washington is droppable in 10-12-team formats.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt, out of Arizona, has seen his role decrease over the past few weeks. Chris Rodriguez Jr. saw a season-high 15 carries in Week 11 and ran for a very solid 5.27 YPC. Meanwhile, Croskey-Merritt saw a 27 percent snap share, and although he carried the ball nine times and caught one pass, it all added up to 33 all-purpose yards (3.11 YPC) against the Miami Dolphins in Spain. The Commanders are on a bye in Week 12, and it appears that this running back room is starting to shape out in a way where Rodriguez will get a bulk of the carries, Croskey-Merrritt will be the change of pace back, and Jeremy McNichols will get mixed in as the pass-catching option. Knowing all of this, it makes Rodriguez the clear running back to own in this backfield, and Croskey-Merritt can be dropped to the waiver wire if your team is in a pinch and you need to fill the roster spot with someone that can help you win now. In Week 13, the Commanders get the Denver Broncos, where none of the running backs will be a recommended start, as the Broncos' defense ranks top 5 in points allowed against opposing running backs.

Buffalo Bills second-year wide receiver out of Florida State, Keon Coleman, was benched for the second straight week and did not suit up for the Bills' Thursday Night Football game against the Houston Texans. The Bills fell short, losing 23-19, and have now fallen to (7-4) on the season. The offense was a bit of a mess on Thursday night, due in large part to the spectacular Texans defense and to Coleman and Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) being out. Because of this, Khalil Shakir had a big game, leading the pass-catching room with 10 targets in a game that required quarterback Josh Allen to throw the football 34 times. At this point, Coleman has 32 receptions for 330 yards and three touchdowns on the season, and is not performing on the field to the level the Bills want him to be, nor in the classroom, where he consistently shows up late for meetings, which is why he was benched in the first place. At this point, Coleman can be dropped in all fantasy formats if needed and remains a dynasty stash at best.

NFL insider Mike Florio spoke on Thursday with Chris Simms on NFL on NBC and mentioned that Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (shoulder, foot) needed extra support after being injured and away from his team for the first time in his career, according to people close to the situation. He also mentioned that Irving "isn't going to be back anytime soon," Bucs beat writer Rick Stroud reports. This news is not what fantasy managers who have been holding onto Irving want to hear, especially after Irving has been able to log limited practices the past two weeks. At this point, Irving's status remains unclear, and the hope is that because he is logging practices, he is nearing a return. While Irving remains sidelined, Sean Tucker is expected to see more reps after breaking out with three touchdowns in Week 11, with Rachaad White staying involved as well.
From RotoBaller
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco (shoulder) is likely losing his starting job soon, with Joe Burrow (foot) logging two straight full practices on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Flacco has performed admirably in Burrow's absence, bringing fantasy life back into players like Chase Brown, Tee Higgins, and Ja'Marr Chase. In his five starts with the Bengals, he has 2,268 passing yards, 14 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He also has a 46.4 QBR and a 108.6 passer rating as the team went (1-4), which was no fault of the offense, as they put up 18, 33, 38,42, and 12 points in all of his starts. Burrow is the team's clear franchise quarterback, so if the Bengals feel he is ready to go, he will. At this point, considering Flacco will likely only start one or maybe two more games, it's okay to drop him to the waiver wire in all formats once Burrow is announced as the starter.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills completed 16 of his 30 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football. He didn't turn the ball over and managed his way to a third straight victory while starting in place of C.J. Stroud (concussion). Mills has proven to be a very competent backup over the last three weeks, leading a big comeback over Jacksonville, taking care of Tennessee, and now defeating the Bills in a game with big playoff implications for both teams. He'll be ready for another start next week on the road against the Colts, but there's also a chance that with the extra time off, Stroud will be able to return for next week's contest. Keep an eye on the injury report leading up to Week 13 to see if Mills will get another chance.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins was only targeted three times on Thursday Night, catching all three passes but finishing with only 55 yards. He was not targeted at all in the second half. Despite his down game, Collins' team was still able to pull out a huge win over the Bills, 23-19, to remain right in the middle of the playoff hunt in the AFC. The Texans have won three straight under Davis Mills, but they'll hope to get C.J. Stroud (concussion) back for next week's huge divisional road game against the Colts. If Stroud returns, Collins will have a higher ceiling, but he has gotten so much volume in the rest of his games this season that he should be poised for a bounce-back performance next week, regardless of who is under center.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz had one catch (on four targets) for nine yards during the team's Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Spin: Schultz had seen his production go up with Davis Mills under center, but that was not the case on Thursday night, and now C.J. Stroud (concussion) is set to return. In Stroud's seven full games this season, Schultz averaged just 44 yards per game without a touchdown. We'll see if that trend continues in Week 13. For now, Schultz is worth owning exclusively in leagues deep enough to carry a TE2.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk had five receptions (on six targets) for 54 yards and a touchdown in a Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Spin: By pretty much any measure, Kirk has been a disappointment in his first season with the Texans, battling injuries and doing little in the games he's appeared -- entering play on Thursday night he'd topped 30 yards in a game just once this season. We'll see if his 5-54-1 effort against the Bills helps get his season on track or if he'll be right back on the struggle bus in Week 13. If you're desperate for help in deeper leagues, you might want to take a flier on Kirk. For everyone else, a wait-and-see approach is sufficient.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb had 16 yards on six carries against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. He also had one catch for minus-one yard.
Fantasy Spin: If there was any lingering doubt, Thursday night in a huge game against a tough opponent, Woody Marks got 17 touches to seven for Chubb, and the rookie was more effective with them. Unless Marks gets injured or starts having ball security issues, it's hard to see a path for Chubb to get back into playable fantasy territory again. Perhaps those in deeper leagues might want to roster him for depth, but that's about his ceiling right now.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk caught five of his six targets for 54 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills. The 29-year-old had his best game as a Texan, scoring his first touchdown of the year and setting a new season-high in receptions. Kirk is trending up in the Houston offense, but so is Jayden Higgins, and Nico Collins has already established himself as the alpha receiver. If C.J. Stroud (concussion) can return next week and support three fantasy-relevant receivers, then Kirk will be worth starting in Week 14 and beyond. However, if that's not the case, the veteran is likely the odd man out among him, Collins, and Higgins. For now, he ranks as a fringe top-50 fantasy receiver rest-of-season.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen completed 24 of 34 passes for 253 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions versus the Houston Texans in Week 12. Allen, who added 20 yards on five carries, was also sacked a career-high eight times in the loss.
Fantasy Spin: Coming off a monster six-touchdown effort versus the Buccaneers, Allen went without a touchdown for the second time this season. He also took an absolute beating, and it'll be interesting to see if he came away from the game with any kind of lingering wrist issue after he was frequently shaking it out for much of the game. Assuming he's alright, Allen should be right back in your lineup next Sunday in Pittsburgh.
