Nick Chubb Nov 6 12:20pm CT
    Nick Chubb

Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb (foot) is back at practice on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday with a foot injury, according to DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN. It's a good sign that Chubb will be able to suit up this Sunday when the team takes on the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars, but the 29-year-old might need to upgrade to a full practice before Friday to avoid taking a questionable tag into the weekend. Chubb has been pretty lackluster on the ground in his first year with the Texans, and he could be facing more defenders in the box this weekend if he's active, since starting quarterback C.J. Stroud has already been ruled out with a concussion. Chubb has been Houston's preferred choice on early downs since Joe Mixon (ankle, foot) has yet to play in 2025, and he's run for 355 yards and two touchdowns on 91 carries. If Chubb is limited at all this weekend, rookie Woody Marks would see an expanded workload.

Matthew Golden Nov 6 11:50am CT
    Matthew Golden

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that rookie first-round wide receiver Matthew Golden (shoulder) will be a limited participant in Thursday's practice after getting injured in Sunday's upset loss to the Carolina Panthers, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN. Before getting injured in Week 9, Golden caught all two of his three targets for just nine yards. The 22-year-old was being hyped during training camp and the preseason, but he has underwhelmed so far in his first year in the NFL, catching 23 passes for 262 yards and no touchdowns on 29 targets over eight games (four starts). Golden's floor should be raised now that tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) is out for the year, but he still makes for a shaky WR4/flex if he's active for a Monday night showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10. Golden has managed only nine catches (10 targets) for 50 yards in the last three games.

Brian Thomas Jr. Nov 6 11:40am CT
    Brian Thomas Jr.

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) was not seen at the portion of practice open to the media on Thursday, according to Demetrius Harvey of Jaguars.com. If Thomas does not make it onto the field, it will be his second straight missed practice of the week after he picked up a low-grade high-ankle sprain in the Week 9 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The Jaguars said earlier this week that they felt the 23-year-old second-year pass catcher had a good chance to suit up this Sunday against the division-rival Houston Texans, but two straight DNPs suggest otherwise. The Jags also put first-rounder Travis Hunter (knee) on Injured Reserve, so they could be down to Parker Washington, Dyami Brown (concussion), and the newly acquired Jakobi Meyers at WR this weekend against a strong Texans defense. Thomas' Friday status will go a long way in determining whether he's active in Week 10.

Dontayvion Wicks Nov 6 11:40am CT
    Dontayvion Wicks

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (calf) will be limited in Thursday's practice, according to Weston Hodkiewicz of Packers.com. Wicks injured his calf in the Week 7 win over the Arizona Cardinals and hasn't practiced or played since, so the fact that he's back on the field on Thursday is a sign that he'll have a chance to return for the Monday night showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10. The Packers lost tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) for the season in their Week 9 upset loss to the Carolina Panthers, so there will be more targets to go around in Green Bay's passing game moving forward. However, the 24-year-old Wicks will still be a boom/bust fantasy option with limited volume if he's able to return this week. Despite injuries to Jayden Reed (collarbone) and Christian Watson, Wicks has only 13 catches for 134 yards and no touchdowns in his six games in 2025.

Dylan Sampson Nov 6 11:30am CT
    Dylan Sampson

Cleveland Browns rookie running back Dylan Sampson saw his biggest volume since the season opener in the Week 8 loss to the New England Patriots, when fellow rookie Quinshon Judkins left the game in the third quarter due to a shoulder injury. The Browns had their bye in Week 9 and are getting ready to face the New York Jets this Sunday in Week 10. The 21-year-old Sampson was a speculative waiver-wire addition for fantasy managers who need help at the RB position, but it remains to be seen how much the fourth-rounder will be involved this weekend now that Judkins has been removed from the injury report. Barring a setback, Judkins should be fine to face the Jets as Cleveland's lead back. Sampson had a season-high 12 carries in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but since then, he hasn't had more than four totes in a single game. It's looking like Sampson won't be a realistic starting option in fantasy lineups this weekend.

MarShawn Lloyd Nov 6 11:30am CT
    MarShawn Lloyd

The Green Bay Packers sent running back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) "out west" to get his body right, according to head coach Matt LaFleur, and the results have been promising. "We'll see," LaFleur said. The Packers said at the end of October that the 24-year-old was not close to returning to practice. It remains to be seen if the second-year RB will be able to get back on the field, but so far, he has spent the entire 2025 season on Injured Reserve due to a hamstring injury. The Packers had high hopes for Lloyd when they drafted him, but he has only played in one game so far in his NFL career. Josh Jacobs is the clear bell-cow back in Green Bay's backfield, with Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks backing him up. If Lloyd does finally make his way back in the second half of the season, there's no guarantee he'll rise above the RB4 for the Packers.

Chris Godwin Nov 6 11:20am CT
    Chris Godwin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (leg) was not spotted at Thursday's practice, according to FOX Sports' Greg Auman. Godwin continues to be affected by a fibula injury that he picked up in Week 5's win over the Seahawks, and is now in danger of missing a fourth consecutive appearance. If he's inactive again, it will be teammates Sterling Shepard, Emeka Egbuka, and Tez Johnson out there in three-wide-receiver sets for their matchup with the visiting New England Patriots -- a personnel they deploy at the tenth-highest rate (66.94%). Tight end Cade Otton would also continue to see a bump in targets.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Downs Nov 6 11:20am CT
    Josh Downs

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs has attracted interest from fantasy managers of late after scoring a touchdown in three straight games. In that span, along with his three scores, Downs has 15 receptions on 19 targets for 138 yards for the Colts. Indy has a crowded receiver room with Michael Pittman Jr., Alex Pierce, and rookie tight end Tyler Warren all demanding targets, but Downs has consistently attracted the eye of quarterback Daniel Jones. In the last four games, the 24-year-old pass-catcher has had at least seven targets in three contests, and he's caught exactly six passes in three of those four games. He drew a season-high nine targets in last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers with the team down multiple scores for most of the day. The former third-rounder will be looking to score for a fourth straight week on Sunday in Germany against the Atlanta Falcons.

    From RotoBaller

Bucky Irving Nov 6 11:00am CT
    Bucky Irving

FOX Sports' Greg Auman reports that Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) is not at Thursday's practice as the team prepares for its home clash with the New England Patriots this weekend. Coming out of the bye, the 23-year-old has yet to participate in practice, which bodes poorly for his potential status in Week 10's contest. If Irving fails to suit up again, backfield mate Rachaad White will continue to lead the rushing attack in a matchup against a staunch New England rush defense, with Sean Tucker retaining a change-of-pace option.

    From RotoBaller

Juwan Johnson Nov 6 10:50am CT
    Juwan Johnson

New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson has gained more appeal as a starting option this weekend when he lines up with the hosting Carolina Panthers. The University of Oregon product had a rough three-game stretch from Weeks 4-6 in which he hauled in seven receptions for 50 yards, although he's bounced back over the previous three outings (13/163), and even got back into the end zone for the second time this season -- and first since Week 2. With ex-teammate Rashid Shaheed gone for Seattle, Johnson should assume the role of the No. 2 pass-catcher behind wide receiver Chris Olave. Production could be inconsistent with rookie QB Tyler Shough manning the helm. However, the opportunity will be there in a Saints offense bereft of weaponry.

    From RotoBaller

    J.J. McCarthy Nov 6 10:40am CT
    J.J. McCarthy

Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy will look to build off an impressive Week 9 win this Sunday when his team squares off with the visiting Baltimore Ravens. McCarthy returned from a five-game absence last weekend and led a decisive win against their division-rival Detroit Lions, totaling three touchdowns (one rushing). The former Michigan Wolverine will be put to the test again in Week 10, this time against a Ravens D that's clamped down over the previous few weeks. That said, McCarthy's performance in Minnesota's most recent win at least has him on the streaming radar in favorable matchups. On paper, the Ravens are just that -- affording opposing air attacks 250 yards per game (fifth-most). Fantasy managers in need of a bye week fill-in can give the 22-year-old a chance as a high-end QB2.

    From RotoBaller

Davis Mills Nov 6 10:20am CT
    Davis Mills

Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills will get the start this weekend for his team's home meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars while teammate C.J. Stroud (concussion) recovers from injury. Stroud left Week 9's loss to the Denver Broncos with a concussion and has already been ruled out for Sunday's clash with Jacksonville. Houston's offense will take a hit sans Stroud, but the Jaguars are a beatable matchup in the passing game. Through nine weeks, the unit has yielded the sixth-most passing yards per game (249.3) and allowed a bottom-half figure in points (23). It wouldn't be surprising to see the Texans lean on the ground game more often in this one, leaving Mills better-suited as an asset in super flex/2QB formats.

    Dont'e Thornton Jr. Nov 6 10:00am CT
    Dont'e Thornton Jr.

Las Vegas Raiders rookie wide receiver Dont'e Thornton Jr. did not play a snap in Week 9's loss to Jacksonville. After showing promise early in the season, he hasn't logged a catch since Week 3. With Jakobi Meyers now traded to the Jaguars, Thornton could see his role expand. In the one game Meyers missed this season, Thornton played a season-high 83% of the snaps. However, the recent addition of Tyler Lockett may cap his overall opportunity. With Denver allowing the fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers, expectations should remain low. Thornton may see the field more in Week 10, but he should stay off fantasy rosters for now.

    From RotoBaller

Sauce Gardner Nov 6 10:00am CT
    Sauce Gardner

Newly acquired cornerback Sauce Gardner (concussion) has cleared protocol and will make his Colts debut in Week 10. Gardner was surprisingly traded from the Jets to the Colts just months after signing a four-year, $120 million extension. With Charvarius Ward (concussion) on injured reserve, Indianapolis will lean on Gardner to shadow Falcons wide receiver Drake London, who is coming off a big performance in Week 9. The move underscores the Colts' aggressive, win-now mindset, and Gardner's debut will be one of the most talked-about storylines of the week.

    From RotoBaller

Ray Davis Nov 6 10:00am CT
    Ray Davis

Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis could be in line for a significant workload in Week 10. The second-year back has struggled to produce this season, totaling just 64 scrimmage yards on 25 touches across eight games. However, with James Cook (foot/ankle) not practicing on Wednesday, Davis could be in a position to start and have a big role in Week 10. In the one game Cook missed in 2024, Davis played 63% of the snaps and handled 23 touches for 152 yards. Fantasy managers should monitor Buffalo's practice reports closely, as the starting running back in this offense would be a clear must-start against a struggling Miami Dolphins defense.

Breece Hall Nov 6 9:50am CT
    Breece Hall

At the trade deadline, the Kansas City Chiefs made an attempt to acquire New York Jets running back Breece Hall. Hall had been the subject of trade rumors and reportedly expressed interest in a change of scenery. The Jets were believed to be seeking a third-round pick, a steep price for a running back who is not under contract beyond the 2025 season. Kansas City ultimately chose not to make the move, signaling confidence in their current backfield of Isiah Pacheco, Kareem Hunt, and Brashard Smith. It sets up a fascinating offseason for Hall and the Jets, but whether the Chiefs will regret not landing the rising star remains to be seen.

    From RotoBaller

Raheem Mostert Nov 6 9:40am CT
    Raheem Mostert

Las Vegas Raiders running back Raheem Mostert has worked strictly as a backup this season. Through five games, he has logged 16 carries for 80 yards and added three receptions for 27 yards. With rookie Ashton Jeanty leading the backfield, Mostert has been limited to just a 24% snap share. The matchup doesn't help in Week 10, as Denver is allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Mostert holds value only as Jeanty's handcuff and on kick returns, but he should remain on waivers in all fantasy formats for now.

    From RotoBaller

Ty Johnson Nov 6 9:40am CT
    Ty Johnson

Buffalo Bills running back Ty Johnson could see increased usage in Week 10. Through eight games, he has logged 17 carries for 72 yards and a touchdown, along with four receptions for 31 yards. With James Cook (foot/ankle) not practicing, Johnson may be in line for a larger workload. Johnson has outsnapped Ray Davis this season, but in the one game Cook missed last year, Davis played 63% of the snaps compared to Johnson's 35%. Cook's status will dictate how the backfield shakes out, so monitor practice reports closely. If Cook sits, both Johnson and Davis would see expanded roles against a vulnerable Miami defense.

    From RotoBaller

Jack Bech Nov 6 9:20am CT
    Jack Bech

Las Vegas Raiders rookie wide receiver Jack Bech did not play a snap in Week 9's loss to Jacksonville. Despite being selected 58th overall out of TCU, he has just seven receptions for 73 yards through eight games. With Jakobi Meyers traded to Jacksonville, Bech is positioned to see increased snaps moving forward. In the one game Meyers missed this season, Bech logged a season-high 63% snap share. That increased opportunity may not translate into fantasy value this week. Denver has allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers, making this a difficult matchup to expect meaningful production. Bech is worth monitoring on Thursday night, but he should remain on waivers in all formats for now.

Marshawn Kneeland Nov 6 9:10am CT
    Marshawn Kneeland

The Dallas Cowboys announced on Thursday that second-year defensive lineman Marshawn Kneeland passed away on Thursday morning. A second-year player from Western Michigan, Kneeland was just 24 years old. The team did not announce a cause of death. Kneeland appeared in 18 games during the past two seasons, registering 26 tackles and a sack. In a statement, the team said, "Marshawn was a beloved teammate and member of our organization. Our thoughts and prayers regarding Marshawn are with his girlfriend Catalina and his family."
