Lauri Markkanen scored 47 points and Keyonte George added 33 -- including a game-winning 3-pointer with 0.8 seconds left -- to help the Utah Jazz rally for a 150-147 double-overtime victory over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday night in Salt Lake City.
Markkanen had his second consecutive 40-point game for the Jazz, Isaiah Collier added 16 points and nine assists off the bench and Jusuf Nurkic collected a game-high 14 rebounds.
Josh Giddey powered the Bulls with 26 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic added 21 points and 13 rebounds. Matas Buzelis and Ayo Dosunmu chipped in 18 points apiece.
Coby White made his season debut for Chicago and provided a spark off the bench. White, who missed 11 games while rehabbing a calf strain, tallied a team-high 27 points with eight assists and went 14-for-14 from the free-throw line.
Spurs 123, Kings 110
De'Aaron Fox poured in 28 points and dished out 11 assists against his former team to help host San Antonio beat struggling Sacramento despite star center Victor Wembanyama missing a game for the first time this season.
Wembanyama sat out with left calf tightness after starting the first 12 games for the Spurs. He missed 36 games last season when he was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in his shoulder. San Antonio did not miss a beat without its top player, leading by eight points at halftime before stoking the margin to 19 points late in the third quarter.
Harrison Barnes added 20 points for the Spurs, while Devin Vassell finished with 16. DeMar DeRozan led the Kings with 27 points on 12-of-15 shooting from the floor. Sacramento has dropped six straight outings.
Mavericks 138, Trail Blazers 133 (OT)
Daniel Gafford's contributions on both ends of the floor proved critical down the stretch, as Dallas snapped a three-game skid and avoided a winless homestand with its overtime defeat of Portland.
Gafford, limited thus far in 2025-26 by an ankle injury, delivered a season-high 20 points, including four in the final seconds of the extra period. Cooper Flagg and P.J. Washington led the Mavericks with 21 points apiece. Brandon Williams and Max Christie added 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Shaedon Sharpe's inability to score in the final minute and a half came at an inopportune time on an otherwise outstanding night for the Blazers guard. He scored a season-high 36 points, just one shy of matching his career best, and dished six assists. Sharpe was left shouldering the load after Deni Avdija, Portland's season-long leading scorer, fouled out. Avdija finished with 29 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
Rockets 117, Magic 113 (OT)
Kevin Durant scored a game-high 35 points, Alperen Sengun added a 30-point double-double, and host Houston claimed an overtime victory over Orlando.
Reed Sheppard (16 points off the bench) and Amen Thompson (12 points, 10 rebounds) converted four free throws to seal the victory. Sengun posted 30 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Sengun, Thompson, Steven Adams (13 rebounds), and Jabari Smith Jr. (10 points, 10 rebounds) all recorded double-digit rebounds for the Rockets, who produced a 60-38 advantage on the glass.
Franz Wagner led the Magic with 29 points while Desmond Bane added 26. Orlando played without starters Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs, both of whom were out with groin injuries.
Celtics 121, Clippers 118
Jaylen Brown scored 33 points and Payton Pritchard finished with 30 as Boston led by as many as 24 points before hanging on to hand visiting Los Angeles its seventh loss in eight games.
Pritchard made 8 of 13 shots from 3-point territory. Derrick White added 22 points, seven rebounds and nine assists for the Celtics, who have won three of their last four.
After trailing all game, the Clippers cut their deficit to 119-118 after James Harden made a 3-pointer with 2.6 seconds to play. After two Pritchard free throws pushed the lead to three, Harden missed a game-tying 3-point attempt at the buzzer.
Nets 129, Wizards 106
Michael Porter Jr. scored a season-high 34 points and Tyrese Martin added a campaign-best 20 off the bench, lifting visiting Brooklyn to victory over reeling Washington.
Porter's scoring outburst was backed up by a strong shooting night, as he canned 11 of 18 jumpers and 9 of 10 on free throws. He also chipped in nine rebounds and seven assists, while Nic Claxton joined in with 17 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and four blocks to help the Nets snap a four-game skid.
Kyshawn George led the way for the Wizards with 29 points and five 3-pointers. CJ McCollum also had 17 points, but Washington couldn't avoid its 11th straight loss.
Warriors 124, Pelicans 106
Moses Moody buried a franchise record-tying seven 3-pointers in the first quarter en route to a career-high 32 points, and Golden State thumped host New Orleans in James Borrego's debut as interim coach.
Moody shot 7-for-8 from deep in the opening period and finished 8-for-12 on threes and 10-for-16 overall. Teammate Stephen Curry, who did not record a basket until the third quarter, was harassed into just nine points on 2-of-11 shooting. Yet the Warriors still won their third straight as they continue a six-game trip.
Playing for the first time since Willie Green was fired as coach Saturday, the Pelicans were paced by Trey Murphy III's 20 points and Jose Alvarado's 18.
Hawks 124, Suns 122
Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 16 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, Jalen Johnson had 25 points and 10 rebounds, and Atlanta overcame a 22-point fourth-quarter deficit to win in Phoenix.
Onyeka Okongwu had 27 points and Dyson Daniels added 11 points and 12 assists for the Hawks, who ran their winning streak to five and completed a sweep of a four-game western road trip. Dillon Brooks had 34 points and Devin Booker added 27 for the Suns, who had a five-game winning streak broken.
Down 21 with 8:33 to play, the Hawks went on a 20-0 run to close within 107-106 with 4:34 left. The Suns went back ahead by six but again could not hold on as Alexander-Walker's layup gave Atlanta the lead with 54 seconds left and the Hawks made free throws down the stretch to hold on.
Atlanta Hawks forward Zaccharie Risacher (hip) took a scary fall after a fast-break dunk during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Phoenix Suns. The second-year wing nearly somersaulted and landed directly on his hip. He was able to walk off on his own, but the team ruled him out for the rest of the game with what they're calling a hip contusion. He finished with 15 points, four assists, three rebounds, two steals, and one turnover. If he has to miss some time, Vit Krejci would likely move into the starting five and could provide some three-point for fantasy managers in need of a streaming option.
Chicago Bulls' G Josh Giddey recorded a triple-double, finishing with 26 points, 13 assists and 13 rebounds in a 147-150 loss to Utah on Sunday, Nov. 16.
Utah Jazz's F Lauri Markkanen scored 47 points on 15-of-33 shooting in a 150-147 win over the Bulls on Sunday, Nov. 16.
Golden State's G Moses Moody scored 32 points on 10-of-16 shooting in a 124-106 win over New Orleans on Sunday, Nov. 16. Moody is owned in only 11.3% leagues.
Dallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (calf) won't play on Sunday versus the Trail Blazers. It's unknown how much longer AD will be off the floor. However, considering his injury history, fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised to see him miss at least a few more contests. Dereck Lively II and Daniel Gafford should continue to handle business in the middle, although both players need to pick things up before earning a consistent spot in fantasy lineups. Naji Marshall, coming off a 28-point showing, should remain more involved offensively.
Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (shoulder) will play on Sunday against Portland. He left Wednesday's loss to the Phoenix Suns because of a shoulder issue and didn't suit up on Friday for the NBA Cup meeting with the Clippers. However, now that Washington is back in the lineup, Naji Marshall will presumably head back to the bench, although he should remain involved, considering Anthony Davis (calf) will miss another game.
New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (hamstring) remains out for Sunday's matchup with the Golden State Warriors. It appears the former Duke Blue Devil is nearing a return. However, fantasy managers will need to wait at least one more game before potentially seeing him back on the court. Jordan Poole (quadriceps) is also out, meaning there should be extra scoring opportunities for everyone, although Trey Murphy III and Jeremiah Fears may continue to lead the way offensively.
Miami Heat forward/center Bam Adebayo (toe) will remain sidelined for a sixth straight game on Monday night against the New York Knicks. The star big man hurt his left big toe in a game earlier this month. Adebayo practiced on Sunday, which may indicate that he could be ready to return soon. After hosting the Knicks, Miami's next game will be on Wednesday night against the Golden State Warriors. Kel'el Ware is looking at another start at center on Monday. He had a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double, along with three blocks, in Friday's 140-132 loss to the Knicks.
Atlanta Hawks center Kristaps Porzingis (knee) won't play on Sunday night versus the Suns. It will be his second straight absence. He's battling knee soreness. However, with Porzingis' injury history, it's hard to gauge how long he'll be off the floor. His next chance to suit up will be on Tuesday versus the visiting Pistons. As far as Sunday's contest is concerned, Onyeka Okongwu, coming off a 32-point, 11-rebound, and three-block effort in Thursday's win over the Utah Jazz, should find his way back into the starting lineup.
Portland Trail Blazers guard Jrue Holiday (calf) will miss his first game of the season on Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks. The two-time NBA champion is dealing with a sore right calf and has been downgraded from questionable to out. Holiday has had a great time with the Trail Blazers this season, averaging 16.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.6 steals across 33.4 minutes of action. His absence on Sunday means more ball-handling duties for Shaedon Sharpe and Deni Avdija. Meanwhile, Sidy Cissoko, Rayan Rupert, and Caleb Love could all be more involved in the guard rotation.
New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson (ankle) will miss a second consecutive contest on Monday against the Miami Heat. He is considered day-to-day after spraining his right ankle in Wednesday's loss to the Orlando Magic. Following Brunson's exit from the lineup, Miles McBride (personal) made his second start of the season on Friday against the Heat. There could be another change in the lineup on Monday night, as McBride is listed as questionable for the game. Landry Shamet or Jordan Clarkson could hop into the first unit. The two made a massive impact in Friday's game, scoring a combined 60 points in New York's 140-132 victory.
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (hamstring) is expected to be out for a couple of weeks. ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Anunoby will be re-evaluated in two weeks. He will remain behind as the team begins a five-game road trip on Monday night against the Miami Heat. Anunoby averages the fourth-most minutes on the Knicks squad, meaning his absence will open up a big chunk of additional playing time for the rest of the crew. Josh Hart, Landry Shamet, and Jordan Clarkson are set to benefit the most from Anunoby's absence.
Washington Wizards guard/forward Bilal Coulibaly (calf) will return to the floor on Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets. The team has upgraded his status from questionable to available. The versatile French talent has missed four games due to a left calf contusion. Coulibaly has averaged 10.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.0 steals in 23.8 minutes. He will jump straight back into the starting lineup on Sunday, although the team may limit his workload to avoid an injury setback. Tre Johnson is returning to the second unit, but this won't affect his fantasy value because his stats as a starter and a reserve are very comparable.
Los Angeles Clippers forward Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) won't return to Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics. The 28-year-old logged 11 minutes. Unfortunately, that's all fantasy managers would get out of Jones before he suffered a knee injury caused by a loose ball dive by Jaylen Brown. He needed assistance off the floor, and his next step will likely be further testing to determine the extent of his condition. Jones has started in all 12 of the Clippers' contests this season, averaging 10.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks. With that said, Los Angeles is already dealing with its share of injuries, so adding another name to an extensive list isn't good news for the four-win team. Bogdan Bogdanovic replaced him and could potentially see some action with the starting lineup moving ahead.
Atlanta Hawks center Kristaps Porzingis (knee) is questionable for Sunday's meeting with the Phoenix Suns. He's dealing with right knee soreness, so the team may take the cautious approach by keeping him off the floor for a second-straight contest. Understandably, that may be the way to go, considering Porzingis has had issues staying healthy over the years. If he's not out there, Onyeka Okongwu, averaging 18.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, and 1.8 steals in four starts this season, should take his spot in the rotation.
Chicago Bulls guard Tre Jones (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Utah Jazz after posting 11 points, two rebounds, five assists, and three steals in 30 minutes against Detroit. He has topped 30 minutes in three straight games, but that workload is likely to shift with Josh Giddey (ankle) probable after a two-game absence and Coby White (calf) potentially making his season debut. Jones has averaged 13.4 points, 5.6 assists, and 2.0 steals over his last five. Yet, his role depends heavily on Chicago's injury-thinned backcourt. If both guards return, Jones becomes more of a deep-league assists and steals streamer rather than a standard-league hold, with a realistic drop to the low-20s in minutes.
Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (shoulder) is probable for Sunday's matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers after exiting early against Phoenix and missing time. Over his last five games, he has averaged 13.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.0 steal, and 1.4 blocks in about 26 minutes. He is shooting 42.3 percent from the field and 25.0 percent from three during that stretch. When healthy, he typically plays in the low to mid 30s. With Anthony Davis (calf) doubtful, Washington should slide back into a primary frontcourt role, stabilizing Dallas' rebounding and secondary scoring. His return slightly caps the recent usage spikes for Naji Marshall and Daniel Gafford, but all three remain viable in standard leagues while the Mavericks stay shorthanded.
Sacramento Kings forward/center Precious Achiuwa (illness) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. He has been filling in at power forward with Keegan Murray sidelined. He is averaging 6.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 58.6 percent shooting in 18.8 minutes this season. Achiuwa is mostly a deeper league streamer for rebounds, field goal percentage, and occasional defensive stats, but he gains appeal if Domantas Sabonis (ribcage) also sits. If Achiuwa is ruled out, managers in deeper formats can look to Drew Eubanks or Maxime Raynaud as short-term frontcourt streamers, while Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan could see even more small-ball usage.
Washington Wizards guard/forward Bilal Coulibaly (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. He averaged 10.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steal, and 1.0 block in 23.8 minutes across his first four games before the injury. Coulibaly brings defensive upside and has a path to low-end standard league value if his role stabilizes. The shooting remains a concern at 36.8 percent, but the rebounds, assists, and stocks keep him relevant for managers needing across-the-board production. His return would squeeze minutes for Kyshawn George, Corey Kispert, and Cam Whitmore, making the Wizards' wing rotation one to monitor as he works back into the lineup.
Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (knee) will miss Sunday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans with patellar tendonitis. Kuminga averaged 13.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 27.7 minutes across 13 games before the setback, and his absence shifts Golden State toward more small-ball lineups. Jimmy Butler III should see extra time at the four, while Draymond Green is likely to pick up more center minutes. Moses Moody and Will Richard have started recently and should remain in the rotation, giving them deep-league appeal for threes and light scoring. Managers should hold Kuminga in most formats, as his role and counting stats remain helpful once he returns.
