Field Level Media

Severe weather and hazardous icy conditions in the Atlanta area forced the postponement of the game scheduled for Saturday afternoon between the host Hawks and Houston Rockets.

The NBA announced the postponement and said the game would be rescheduled for a date to be announced later.

"Stay safe, ATL," both teams wrote on X.

The Hawks are returning from a six-game road trip that saw them go 2-4. The Western Conference swing concluded with Thursday's 123-115 loss at the Phoenix Suns.

The Rockets recorded their third win in a row following Thursday's 119-115 road victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Player Notes
Nikola Jokic Sat Jan 11 5:40pm

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (illness) has been listed as probable on the injury report ahead of Sunday's matchup against Dallas. The multi-time MVP continues to battle an illness, but he was able to return from a two-game absence on Friday versus Brooklyn, and the probable tag suggests that Jokic will likely be good to go on Sunday as well. It's been another remarkable campaign for Jokic, who leads the league with 15 triple-doubles and is averaging 31.6 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 9.9 assists. He's had massive triple-doubles in both previous meetings with the Mavericks this season.

Tim Hardaway Jr. Sat Jan 11 5:40pm

Detroit Pistons guard Tim Hardaway Jr. (back) will be able to return to the floor for the Pistons on Saturday night when they host the Raptors. Hardaway was originally listed as questionable after being a late scratch for Thursday's contest due to back tightness. He had been starting for Detroit and getting a little more work with Jaden Ivey (leg) out. The veteran averaged 13.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.4 three-pointers in 31 minutes in his last five games before being sidelined. His return will move Malik Beasley to the second unit while Ron Holland II and Marcus Sasser will likely have less work off the bench as well.

Bruce Brown Sat Jan 11 5:30pm

Toronto Raptors guard/forward Bruce Brown (knee) will be active against Detroit on Saturday. Brown missed Thursday's matchup against Cleveland for knee injury management purposes, but Toronto has not listed him on the injury report entering Saturday. Brown made his season debut only a couple of weeks ago and has averaged 5.4 points and 2.0 rebounds in five appearances. For once, the Raptors are fully healthy on Saturday, so fantasy managers should overlook Brown because his role on the team is limited.

Ochai Agbaji Sat Jan 11 5:20pm

Toronto Raptors guard/forward Ochai Agbaji (hip) will return to action on Saturday against Detroit. He missed Thursday's meeting with Cleveland due to a hip issue and was also initially questionable for Saturday's game. However, Toronto has upgraded Agbaji from questionable to available. The 24-year-old has averaged 10.8 points and 3.8 rebounds across 29.5 minutes this season. He had a productive start to the campaign when the Raptors were battling injuries. Agbaji's numbers have dropped to 8.8 points and 2.5 rebounds this month with Toronto healthy, so he doesn't have much to offer fantasy managers.

John Collins Sat Jan 11 11:50am

Utah Jazz forward John Collins (hip) won't suit up versus the Phoenix Suns. The veteran has had his best season in years, averaging 17.9 points, his most since the 2019-2020 campaign, while logging 8.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals. The Jazz play the Nets on Sunday, and with Collins listed as out because of injury management purposes, it appears there's a chance he could return for that one. Brice Sensabaugh (illness) and Johnny Juzang (hand), who are both questionable, could see more work without Collins available. However, if they don't suit up, Kyle Filipowski, coming off an 11-rebound, two-steal, one-block effort versus the Heat, could be a streaming option for fantasy managers.

Keyonte George Sat Jan 11 11:40am

Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George (heel) won't play on Saturday versus the Suns. The 21-year-old has averaged a career-high 15.6 points and 5.7 assists this season. Unfortunately, he's missed Utah's previous three games because of left heel inflammation. With Jordan Clarkson (foot) also out, Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton should see an increase in scoring opportunities, with the duo combining for 46 points in a recent meeting with the Miami Heat. Isaiah Collier will also likely roll with the first-five. Although Collier has logged just 5.4 points in five starts this season, he's at least contributed to other areas, averaging 7.0 assists and 5.6 boards in those appearances.

Jordan Clarkson Sat Jan 11 11:30am

Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (foot) will remain sidelined for Saturday's game versus the Suns. The veteran has had a decent 2024-25 campaign, averaging 16.0 points and 3.8 assists. But he's already missed 14 games this season, including the previous three contests because of Plantar Fasciitis in his left foot. Utah could have used him in the lineup on Saturday, considering the Jazz also won't have John Collins (hip) and Keyonte George (heel). There's also a chance Johnny Juzang (hand) and Brice Sensabaugh (illness) won't suit up. With that in mind, Collin Sexton and Lauri Markkanen, combining for 46 points in a recent meeting with the Miami Heat, are must-start fantasy options. Isaiah Collier and Patty Mills could get more action. Although Collier and Mills could see an uptick in production, both players are risky for any fantasy setup, including for those participating in DFS contests.

Nikola Jokic Sat Jan 11 12:00am

Denver's C Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double, finishing with 35 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds in a 124-105 win over the Nets on Friday, Jan. 10.

Russell Westbrook Sat Jan 11 12:00am

Nuggets' G Russell Westbrook recorded a triple-double, finishing with 25 points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds in a 124-105 win over the Nets on Friday, Jan. 10.

Isaiah Joe Sat Jan 11 12:00am

Thunder's G Isaiah Joe scored 31 points on 11-of-16 shooting in a 126-101 win over New York on Friday, Jan. 10. Joe is owned in very few, if any leagues.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Sat Jan 11 12:00am

Milwaukee's F Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded a double-double, scoring 41 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in a 109-106 win over Orlando on Friday, Jan. 10.

Jalen Johnson Fri Jan 10 9:10pm

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (shoulder) won't play on Saturday against the Rockets. Initially, his right shoulder inflammation wasn't too concerning for fantasy managers. However, Johnson will miss a fourth consecutive game on Saturday, so most are hoping he won't be on the shelf much longer. It's unfortunate, especially since the 23-year-old is averaging career-highs in points (19.8), rebounds (10.1), assists (5.3), blocks (1.1), and steals (1.5). But until he's back on the floor, Trae Young (Achilles), Dyson Daniels, and De'Andre Hunter should benefit the most on the offensive end.

Trae Young Fri Jan 10 9:00pm

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (Achilles) is expected to suit up on Saturday against Houston. The right Achilles Tendinitis is nothing new, so he should be out there barring a setback. The 26-year-old hasn't had his most efficient season, averaging 22.5 points and shooting 33.9% from behind the arc. Fortunately, he's at least made up for it by amassing a career-high 12.1 assists per game. With Jalen Johnson (shoulder) still out, Young should continue to get a few more looks at the basket. While he's always a must-start in redraft formats, the challenging matchup versus Houston doesn't make him a practical option for DFS lineups.

Tari Eason Fri Jan 10 8:50pm

Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (leg) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Hawks. The 23-year-old has missed the last 11 games. Head coach Ime Udoka recently indicated Eason was close to returning to the court. However, Udoka added that the team wanted to remain cautious, especially at this point in the year. With Jabari Smith Jr. (hand) on the shelf, there should continue to be minutes and scoring opportunities up for grabs. While Fred VanVleet, Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, and Amen Thompson should continue to lead the way on the offensive end, Cam Whitmore, averaging 12.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in January, is worth streaming in most fantasy formats.

Nikola Jokic Fri Jan 10 7:40pm

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (illness) will play on Friday night versus Brooklyn. The multi-time MVP missed the previous two games because of an illness. However, after riding a questionable designation, fantasy managers figured he'd be back for this one after he went through pre-game warmups. As expected, Jokic should be added back to fantasy lineups for the favorable matchup versus the Nets, although his presence will mean fewer minutes for DeAndre Jordan and Dario Saric.

Trayce Jackson-Davis Fri Jan 10 5:40pm

Golden State Warriors center Trayce Jackson-Davis (eye) will suit up on Friday against Indiana. He was initially listed as questionable for the game due to a left eye contusion, but the team has upgraded Jackson-Davis to available. The sophomore has played well recently and is coming off a double-double performance. Jackson-Davis had 14 points and 10 rebounds with three assists as the Warriors defeated Detroit 107-104 on Thursday. He finished with 13 points and eight rebounds in this season's first clash against the Pacers.

Khris Middleton Fri Jan 10 5:40pm

Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports that Milwaukee Bucks forwardKhris Middleton (ankle) is available for Friday's matchup with the Orlando Magic. Middleton will play in his second straight contest this evening despite dealing with bilateral ankle issues. In his last outing on Wednesday against San Antonio, he came off the bench and struggled, posting eight points, five rebounds, and three assists in21 minutes during the 121-105 Bucks win.

Paul George Fri Jan 10 5:40pm

Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Paul George (groin) will play against New Orleans on Friday. He has been upgraded from probable to available ahead of tip-off. The former Clippers star, who returns from a one-game absence, will start the contest with Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre Jr., Caleb Martin, and Guerschon Yabusele. George, Maxey, and Oubre Jr. should do most of the offensive work against the Pelicans. Eric Gordon will be bumped back to the bench due to George's return. Gordon has had a tough time making an impact as a member of the second unit in 2024-25 and should be ignored by fantasy managers.

Moses Moody Fri Jan 10 5:30pm

Golden State Warriors guard/forward Moses Moody (knee) will be back in action on Friday against Indiana. He sat out the first leg of a back-to-back on Thursday versus Detroit due to a knee issue. Golden State has quite a few bodies missing on Friday, including Stephen Curry (knee) and Andrew Wiggins (personal), so we might see a lot of Moody in the contest. Moody tends to be inconsistent with his play, but he has boosted his fantasy appeal recently by scoring double-digit points in four of his last six appearances.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Fri Jan 10 5:30pm

According to Eric Nehm of The Athletic, Milwaukee Bucks forwardGiannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is active for Friday's matchup with the Orlando Magic. The 30-year-old will play in his sixth consecutive contest despite dealing with right patella tendinopathy. Antetokounmpo will have a full workload during Friday's contest and fantasy managers know by now that the superstar forward is a must-start whenever he is available to step on the floor.
