Jalen Brunson Mon Jan 13 12:00am

New York Knicks' G Jalen Brunson scored 44 points on 16-of-26 shooting in a 140-106 win over the Bucks on Sunday, Jan. 12.

LeBron James Sun Jan 12 8:50pm

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (foot) is probable heading into Monday's matchup with the Spurs. The unfortunate situation in Los Angeles surrounding the wildfires has resulted in the team postponing their last two contests. However, despite not playing a game in nearly a week, the multi-time All-Star remains on the injury report because of a foot issue. That likely won't change anytime soon, although fantasy managers are used to it at this point. James continues to play well, averaging 23.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 7.7 assists while shooting 38.6% from behind the arc. Yet, he struggled offensively in two meetings with the Spurs during the 2024-25 campaign, logging only 15.5 points per contest, so he may not be the most practical DFS option, considering his rostering cost.

Tari Eason Sun Jan 12 6:20pm

Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (lower leg) is listed as doubtful for Monday's game against Memphis. The 23-year-old hasn't played since Dec. 14 and is not expected to return to the lineup on Monday as Eason continues to manage a left lower leg injury. Cam Whitmore and Jae'Sean Tate have enjoyed expanded roles during Eason's absence. As a talented scorer, Whitmore has more fantasy appeal, but he tends to blow hot and cold.

Kyle Filipowski Sun Jan 12 6:10pm

Utah Jazz forward/center Kyle Filipowski (ankle) is good to go for Sunday's contest against Brooklyn. He was initially regarded as questionable for the game due to an ankle sprain. Utah won't have many big bodies in the lineup on Sunday, so the stage is set for Filipowski to enjoy a productive outing. However, his recent form hasn't been promising. Filipowski has averaged 4.8 points and 6.2 rebounds with below 40 percent shooting this month. In Saturday's matchup against Phoenix, he settled for only four points and two rebounds on 2-for-8 shooting in 22 minutes.

Brice Sensabaugh Sun Jan 12 6:10pm

Utah Jazz forward Brice Sensabaugh (conditioning) will end a three-game absence on Sunday against Brooklyn. At the start of the week, he was knocked out of the lineup by an illness, but Sensabaugh has worked his way back into game shape ahead of Sunday's action. We should see plenty of him in the game as well, considering the Jazz will be short-handed for the contest, missing seven players, including four regular starters. Sensabaugh exploded for 61 points across two games before exiting the lineup, but the shooting he demonstrated in these contests -- including a 12-for-17 effort from three-point range -- is unsustainable.

Lauri Markkanen Sun Jan 12 6:00pm

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (back) will not play on Sunday against Brooklyn. He will miss the second leg of a back-to-back due to back spasms. Markkanen's absence means Collin Sexton will be the only regular starter available for the contest. Players such as Cody Williams and Svi Mykhailiuk will have expanded roles on Sunday, while veteran playmaker Patty Mills looks set to remain in the rotation. Following Sunday night, Utah will be off until Wednesday, which should help the team get back some bodies.

Jonathan Kuminga Sun Jan 12 5:50pm

Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) will miss a fifth straight game on Monday against Toronto. The 22-year-old is recovering from an ankle sprain and is wearing a walking boot. He's seven days into a projected three-week recovery period, so the Warriors will have to be without him for quite some time. Luckily for the team, Andrew Wiggins (personal) has returned to the fold. The Warriors bench, featuring Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson, and Moses Moody, will also help compensate for Kuminga's loss.

Gary Payton II Sun Jan 12 5:40pm

Golden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II (calf) has been listed as out for Monday's clash against Toronto. Following Sunday's practice, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr labeled Payton II as questionable, but it looks like he still needs some time to work himself into game shape. The defensive specialist has missed nine games due to a calf strain. Payton II's next chance to return will come on Wednesday against Minnesota.

Brandin Podziemski Sun Jan 12 5:30pm

Golden State Warriors shooting guard Brandin Podziemski (abdomen) will miss an eighth consecutive game on Monday against Toronto. Podziemski is making progress and can run at full speed, but he stated on Sunday that he isn't yet nearing a return. Buddy Hield, Lindy Waters III, and Moses Moody have additional playing opportunities with Podziemski out. Pat Spencer, who impressed with a 17-point outing on Friday against Indiana, might also find himself more involved going forward.

Jalen Brunson Sun Jan 12 5:20pm

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (shoulder) finished with 44 points in Sunday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks. He added six assists, five rebounds, and one steal. The 28-year-old briefly exited the contest after suffering a right shoulder injury, although he was able to return to lead the Knicks to an impressive victory. Fortunately, it doesn't sound as the injury is anything serious, with head coach Tom Thibodeau reporting Brunson suffered a "stinger." With that in mind, he'll likely appear on the injury report heading into Monday's meeting with the Detroit Pistons. If Brunson doesn't suit up for that one, Cameron Payne, scoring 18 points on Sunday, and Miles McBride could see an increase in fantasy contributions.

Draymond Green Sun Jan 12 5:20pm

Golden State Warriors forward/center Draymond Green (back) is expected to return to the lineup on Monday against Toronto. The veteran missed Friday's game against Indiana due to a back issue. He is officially listed as questionable on the injury report ahead of Monday's action. However, ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk has reported that Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expects to have Green available after he practiced on Sunday. Kyle Anderson logged his third start of the season on Friday in Green's absence. He hasn't been valuable for fantasy managers as a bench piece.

Andrew Wiggins Sun Jan 12 5:20pm

Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins (personal) has rejoined the team and will play on Monday against Toronto. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr confirmed the news after Wiggins practiced on Sunday. Wiggins struggled in his last outing, producing nine points on 4-for-10 shooting against Miami, so having some time off might have even benefited him. Matchups against his hometown team have always gone well for Wiggins, who has averaged 20.9 points for his career against the Raptors. He has notched more points only against Sacramento.

Stephen Curry Sun Jan 12 5:10pm

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry (knee) has not been listed on the injury report for Monday's game against Toronto. He sat out the second leg of a back-to-back on Friday versus Indiana because of bilateral knee injury management. However, Curry practiced on Sunday and will be ready to return to action against the Raptors. The Warriors superstar struggled in his last outing, finishing Thursday's 107-104 victory against Detroit with 17 points on 2-for-14 shooting from deep, but Curry still averages 26.0 points for the month.

    Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Sun Jan 12 5:00pm

Orlando Magic guard/forward Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (knee) will not play against Philadelphia on Sunday. A knee issue limited Caldwell-Pope to 11 minutes in Friday's matchup against Milwaukee. Still, he appeared to be on track to play on Sunday when the team listed him as probable on the initial injury report. However, the veteran has been ruled out for the contest ahead of tip-off. Caleb Houstan will fill in for Caldwell-Pope in the starting lineup. Houstan recently enjoyed a four-game stint as a starter but didn't offer much fantasy-wise. He averaged 7.3 points and 1.8 rebounds across 24.5 minutes in that role.

Joel Embiid Sun Jan 12 4:50pm

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (foot, face) will not return to action in Sunday's matchup against Orlando. He will miss a fourth consecutive game after being initially regarded as questionable for the contest. Philadelphia will also be without Andre Drummond (toe), meaning Guerschon Yabusele is set for another busy outing. Adem Bona will serve as the backup center. Yabusele was quiet in the last game against New Orleans, but he has averaged a solid 10.8 points and 6.3 rebounds for the month.

Caleb Martin Sun Jan 12 4:50pm

Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Caleb Martin (groin) will not suit up for Sunday's contest against Orlando. He was a late addition to the injury report and has been ruled out due to a sore right groin. Eric Gordon will move to the starting unit as Martin's replacement. The veteran sharpshooter has had a tough campaign but recently netted 15 points with four makes from downtown in another spot start. However, it might be tough for Gordon to replicate the performance on Sunday, as the Magic allow the fewest three-point attempts per game in the league.

Ty Jerome Sun Jan 12 4:40pm

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ty Jerome (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against Indiana. This comes as no surprise after Cleveland listed Jerome as doubtful on the initial injury report. Jerome's absence should slightly boost Sam Merrill and Caris LeVert from a fantasy perspective, while Craig Porter Jr. might break back into the rotation as an additional ball-handler. Jerome's first chance to return will come on Tuesday when Cleveland will square off against the Pacers in a rematch.

Walker Kessler Sun Jan 12 4:30pm

Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (rest) will not be in the lineup on Sunday against Brooklyn. Following a 31-minute outing against Phoenix on Saturday, the Jazz are resting the seven-foot giant. John Collins (hip) also remains out of the lineup, and several other frontcourt pieces are questionable for the contest. This could lead to Drew Eubanks and Micah Potter featuring heavily in the rotation. On paper, it's a good matchup for Utah's healthy big men, as Brooklyn allows the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing centers.

Dejounte Murray Sun Jan 12 4:20pm

New Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray (elbow, shin) will be active against Boston on Sunday. Murray is dealing with a couple of health issues right now, but he has been upgraded from questionable to available. The 28-year-old will have a significant role in slowing down Boston's backcourt, and Murray should also have a major part to play on the offensive end. He has averaged 17.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 8.0 assists, and 2.0 steals across six January appearances.

John Collins Sun Jan 12 4:20pm

Utah Jazz forward/center John Collins (hip) remains out on Sunday versus the Nets. The 27-year-old has played in only one of Utah's previous 10 games. But he's listed as out due to injury management purposes, so it appears he's nearing a return. Fantasy managers have enjoyed Collins' production this season, with the veteran averaging 17.9 points, his highest mark since the 2019-20 campaign. In the meantime, Brice Sensabaugh (illness) and Kyle Filipowski (ankle) could see more minutes. But if neither of those players get on the floor, Micah Potter may get a few extra minutes of action, although not enough to warrant fantasy consideration.
