Trae Young Mon Jan 13 7:20pm

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (illness) has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's meeting with Phoenix. He is feeling under the weather and may be out for only the third time in 2024-25. Considering the Hawks also play on Wednesday against Chicago, Young might even miss multiple games. Jalen Johnson (shoulder) has already been out for the Hawks recently, so a major collective effort will be needed on Tuesday if Young also misses the game. Vit Krejci is looking at a further boost, while Dyson Daniels would have to take on more offensive responsibilities.

Jalen Johnson Mon Jan 13 7:10pm

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (shoulder) will not be available when the Hawks host the Suns on Tuesday. The 23-year-old is in the midst of a breakout season, averaging 19.8 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, but he has missed four of the last five games for the Hawks, including each of their last three games. Atlanta's Saturday matchup against the Rockets was postponed due to weather, so they'll actually end up facing the Suns in consecutive games. Last Thursday when Johnson was also out, Vit Krejci made a third straight start and played 26 minutes, producing 12 points, three rebounds, six assists, and one steal. Krejci should be a serviceable streaming option and DFS value while Johnson is out. Johnson's next chance to return will be Wednesday when the Hawks finish their back-to-back against the Bulls.

Tyrese Haliburton Mon Jan 13 7:00pm

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) only played 19 minutes in his team's win over the Cavs on Sunday night, and it looks unlikely that he'll be available Tuesday for the rematch in Indianapolis. After he departed, Andrew Nembhard stepped up with 19 points, four assists, and two steals in 29 minutes. T.J. McConnell had eight assists and six points in 17 minutes off the bench. If Haliburton sits on Tuesday as expected, it would be his first absence of the season and leave heavy usage for McConnell and Nembhard. Both will be excellent streaming and DFS options Tuesday despite a tough matchup against the Cavaliers, who had won 12 straight before losing Sunday.

Dejounte Murray Mon Jan 13 7:00pm

New Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray (elbow) is probable for Tuesday's matchup with the Bulls. The 28-year-old missed over a month to begin the season because of a fractured hand. While he's appeared on the injury report since returning, he hasn't missed any time. Murray is also playing better than at any point in the season, averaging 18.4 points, 8.0 assists, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.9 steals in seven games this month, keeping him worthy of a spot in any fantasy lineup.

Ty Jerome Mon Jan 13 7:00pm

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ty Jerome (illness) was listed as doubtful for Tuesday's rematch against the Pacers, who beat the Cavs on Sunday, snapping Cleveland's 12-game winning streak. Jerome missed Sunday's game as well after averaging 17.5 minutes in his previous six games. In those six contests, Jerome produced 9.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.2 steals. If he is out again on Tuesday as expected, Caris LeVert, Sam Merrill, and Craig Porter Jr. will divide up his minutes in the second unit.

Malik Monk Mon Jan 13 7:00pm

Sacramento Kings guard/forward Malik Monk (groin) is considered questionable for Tuesday's tilt against Milwaukee. After sustaining a groin injury, he might be absent for an eighth time this season. Monk recently went on a tear with De'Aaron Fox out of the lineup, and he has had a strong campaign overall. Since moving to the starting unit in December, Monk has notched 18.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.1 steals. Keon Ellis and Kevin Huerter should share Monk's minutes if he can't play on Tuesday. Ellis is the better fantasy target, as Huerter has struggled this campaign with the Kings.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Mon Jan 13 6:50pm

Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is probable for Tuesday's matchup against Sacramento. He hasn't missed any games since 2025 arrived and is not expected to sit out on Tuesday, either. Antetokounmpo struggled in the last game against the Knicks but still came through a blowout loss with 24 points and 13 rebounds. A meeting with the Kings is a much more favorable matchup for him, and we could see a major bounce-back effort from the former MVP.

Gary Trent Jr. Mon Jan 13 6:50pm

Milwaukee Bucks guard/forward Gary Trent Jr. (hip) is questionable for Tuesday's contest against Sacramento. Milwaukee might have to be without him for a second straight game as Trent Jr. battles a hip flexor strain. Khris Middleton (ankle) has already been ruled out, so the Bucks could use some extra depth on the bench, and Trent Jr. would have a chance to play a bigger part in the rotation if he's able to take the court. Meanwhile, his absence boosts the fantasy stock of AJ Green, who can rack up points in a hurry as a 45 percent shooter from three-point range.

Kyrie Irving Mon Jan 13 6:40pm

Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (back) has picked up a questionable tag ahead of Tuesday's contest against Denver. This is a positive sign, as he was ruled out for 1-2 weeks on Jan. 6. Another sign pointing toward his potential return is that Irving came through full practice on Monday. However, if he can't go on Tuesday, Irving will quickly have another chance to jump back into action, as Dallas begins a back-to-back on Tuesday and faces New Orleans on Wednesday night. Irving's return will negatively impact Spencer Dinwiddie, Quentin Grimes, and Jaden Hardy, who have played well while the team has battled injuries.

Aaron Gordon Mon Jan 13 6:40pm

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (calf) is probable for Tuesday's rematch with the Mavs. The veteran returned for Sunday's meeting between the clubs after spending time on the shelf because of a calf strain, an injury he's battled all year. He came off the bench, amassing 13 points, six boards, and one block. With that said, until Gordon is back to full-strength, his fantasy outlook isn't as promising. Granted, he's still worth considering for any fantasy lineup, considering his upside. However, Gordon may not be the safest DFS option.

Brandin Podziemski Mon Jan 13 6:40pm

Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski (abdominal) does not have a clear timeline to return yet, but he's starting on his way back. According to coach Steve Kerr, Podziemski got "a run" in on Monday and felt fine. The 21-year-old has worked mostly off the bench for the Warriors this season, averaging 8.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.0 steals in 24.2 minutes per game. He has been sidelined since December 28, and when he eventually comes back he'll likely take playing time back from Dennis Schroder and Moses Moody.

Khris Middleton Mon Jan 13 6:40pm

Milwaukee Bucks small forward Khris Middleton (ankle) will not play in Tuesday's game against Sacramento. He has been ruled out for bilateral ankle injury management purposes. Tuesday's matchup marks the start of a back-to-back for the NBA Cup champions, so Middleton will likely be active again on Wednesday against Orlando. Bobby Portis, AJ Green, and Gary Trent Jr. (hip) will play larger roles off the bench with Middleton out, although the latter might also miss the contest.

Gary Payton II Mon Jan 13 6:40pm

Golden State Warriors guard Gary Payton II has not played since Christmas Day, missing nine straight games with a left calf straight, but he could be nearing a return. According to The Athletic's Anthony Slater, Payton was able to scrimmage on Sunday and worked out again on Monday. Payton will not play Monday in Toronto, but the team is hopeful he can return in Minnesota on Wednesday. Payton has averaged only 13.1 minutes in his 28 games this season, producing 4.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.7 steals. When he returns, he'll bring the Warriors some depth and defense in the second unit, although his role will likely remain limited.

Jay Huff Mon Jan 13 6:30pm

Memphis Grizzlies center Jay Huff (knee) will be active on Monday against Houston. He has been upgraded from probable to available. Huff has impressed at times this season, but he currently lacks fantasy value, as the Grizzlies have all their big guys healthy. The 27-year-old will only see backup minutes on Monday and likely will not be a factor in the contest. In another matchup against the Rockets last week, Huff finished with eight points and three rebounds in 10 minutes.

Alex Caruso Mon Jan 13 6:30pm

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Alex Caruso (hip) is not on the Thunder's injury report for their Tuesday matchup in Philadelphia, signaling that the 30-year-old is ready to return from a 10-game absence due to a left-hip strain. In his 20 games this year with the Thunder, Caruso has 5.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.9 steals in 19.9 minutes per game. Caruso's defensive presence and intensity will be a nice addition to an already thriving Thunder rotation, but he could siphon minutes from Cason Wallace, Aaron Wiggins, and Isaiah Joe as he establishes himself off the bench.

Jamal Murray Mon Jan 13 6:30pm

Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (knee) is expected to play in Tuesday's matchup with Dallas. As expected, he's on the injury report. However, barring a setback, the 27-year-old should be out there against the Mavericks. Murray hasn't had the best year, averaging 19.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 6.0 assists while shooting 37.2% from behind the arc, all down from the 2023-24 campaign. He's also struggled versus Dallas this season. While he's still worthy of a start in redraft lineups, his outlook for DFS managers isn't too promising.

Mitchell Robinson Mon Jan 13 6:20pm

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) remains on track to return to practice this month after an extended recovery from surgery, according to coach Tom Thibodeau as reported by Stefan Bondy of the New York Post. Robinson has yet to begin running full speed, but the expectation is that he'll be back to full practices sometime in January. The 26-year-old big man played 31 games for New York last season, averaging 5.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 blocks in 24.8 minutes per game. His eventual return could make Jericho Sims expendable, and Bondy reports that the team is exploring what value Sims has on the trade market.

Ja Morant Mon Jan 13 6:20pm

Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant (illness) has been cleared to play on Monday against Houston. Morant has not been feeling well and was a late addition to the injury report. However, he has shaken off a questionable tag ahead of tip-off. The Grizzlies star struggled last time out against Minnesota, netting only 12 points, but he produced a memorable game-winning shot. He will face one of the best defenses in the league on Monday, but the Rockets have fallen short of answers against Morant in previous matchups this season. Morant has notched 25.5 points across two games against Houston.

Nikola Jokic Mon Jan 13 6:20pm

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (illness) is probable for Tuesday's game against Dallas. The multi-time MVP has been under the weather, keeping him off the floor for recent meetings with the Celtics and Clippers. However, he's appeared in Denver's previous two contests, combining for 54 points, 30 rebounds, 24 assists, and seven steals, so it appears he's doing just fine. Jokic has dominated the Mavs this season, averaging 29.7 points, 17.7 boards, and 11.3 assists in three games against Dallas, making him a must-start in any format, including those participating in DFS contests.

Jalen Brunson Mon Jan 13 6:10pm

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (shoulder) will be able to play on Monday night despite being listed as questionable against the Pistons. Brunson went off for 44 points in just 29 minutes on Sunday against the Bucks, but he left the game early to get treatment on his shoulder. He'll be able to play on the second game of the team's back-to-back after averaging 27.2 points, 6.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 34.2 minutes per game over his six most recent contests. If Brunson is limited at all, there could be more work for Miles McBride and Cameron Payne, but it looks like the rotation should be fairly typical with Brunson available.
