Clint Capela Wed Feb 5 10:10am

Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (back) will remain seated for Wednesday's matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. He has been dealing with back spasms and was sidelined for the Hawks' three-game road trip. Capela's next chance to suit up for the Atlanta Hawks will be in Friday's home game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Also, Capela has drawn trade interest from multiple teams, one of them being the Chicago Bulls. The Hawks had reportedly contacted the Chicago Bulls about a potential Capela and Nikola Vucevic swap. Capela has averaged 9.4 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists this season. He recently lost his starting spot in Atlanta to Onyeka Okongwu, and that has made him expendable. Okongwu should remain in the starting lineup in Capela's absence.

Bogdan Bogdanovic Wed Feb 5 9:40am

Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic (personal) won't play on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs. With Bogdanovic's popping up in the rumor mill as Thursday's trade deadline nears, it's unclear when or if he'll rejoin the Atlanta Hawks. Missing Bogdanovic will cost Atlanta some major playmaking off the bench. Bogdanovic has missed the last five games due to personal reasons, as he has been out since January 25. The Hawks will need to adjust their rotation with Bogdanovic out, giving more minutes to Dyson Daniels.

Vasilije Micic Wed Feb 5 9:10am

Charlotte Hornets guard Vasilije Micic (ankle) has received a questionable tag for Wednesday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. Micic was last seen in action last night against the Washington Wizards, where he posted 13 points, five assists and three rebounds across 28 minutes. If he's unable to suit up, KJ Simpson could see a bump in minutes. Micic started in 16 games and has come off the bench in 20 games this season. The Hornets are currently the 14th seed in the Eastern Conference, with a 12-35 record in 47 games. Hornets shooting guards Isaiah Wong and Seth Curry, forward Moussa Diabat, power forward Grant Williams and point guard Tre Mann are all on the shelf.

LaMelo Ball Wed Feb 5 8:10am

Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) will remain out on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks but is making progress. The team has announced that Ball has returned to on-court activity. It's an encouraging update, although it remains unclear when Ball will be back in game shape. With Vasilije Micic (ankle) now also battling an injury, KJ Simpson and Nick Smith Jr. must do a lot more for the team. The latter has finished among Charlotte's top scorers in back-to-back games, averaging 21.5 points.

Aaron Gordon Wed Feb 5 8:00am

Denver Nuggets forward/center Aaron Gordon (calf) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's meeting with the New Orleans Pelicans. He could be out for a second consecutive game as Gordon continues to manage a left calf injury. The Nuggets are also without Russell Westbrook (hamstring) and Payton Watson (knee), which opens up a ton of playing time for the rest of the squad. In Monday's matchup against the Pelicans, Julian Strawther led the second unit with 15 points in 24 minutes.

Jalen Suggs Wed Feb 5 7:50am

Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (quadriceps) is likely to sit out a fifth consecutive game on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings, as the team has listed him as doubtful for the matchup. After returning from a back injury, Suggs has been sidelined due to a left quadriceps contusion. Anthony Black and Cole Anthony have added significance in fantasy basketball during Suggs' absence. Anthony has outplayed Black in the most recent games and will go after a third consecutive 20-point outing on Wednesday.

Jalen Williams Wed Feb 5 7:50am

Oklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Jalen Williams (wrist) is in danger of missing a third straight game, as the team considers him questionable for Wednesday's tilt against the Phoenix Suns. Williams is trying to shake off a right wrist sprain. Aaron Wiggins has picked up a pair of starts during Wlliams' absence. He exploded for a career-high 41 points on Saturday against the Sacramento Kings but settled for only 13 points in Monday's victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Wiggins' career averages as a starter are 10.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.

Marcus Smart Wed Feb 5 7:40am

Memphis Grizzlies guard Marcus Smart (finger) has been listed as questionable for Wednesday's meeting with the Toronto Raptors. He has been out for 19 games while recovering from a finger injury. Memphis had him as doubtful on the injury report only a couple of days ago, so Smart appears to be making very good progress and may be available on Wednesday night for the first time since Dec. 21. With the loss of Desmond Bane (ankle), Smart could have a significant role to play right away.

Andrew Wiggins Wed Feb 5 7:40am

Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins (hip) is expected to suit up for Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz. Wiggins is bothered by soreness in his left him, but it looks like he will be ready to make a 12th consecutive appearance. This marks the beginning of a stretch of three games in four nights for Golden State, so it's possible that Wiggins will need to take some time off later in the week. The Canadian star has recently played some of his best basketball of the season, averaging 21.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.9 assists over the past seven games.

Desmond Bane Wed Feb 5 7:30am

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Desmond Bane (ankle) is forced to miss multiple games. The 26-year-old hurt his left ankle on Sunday against the Milwaukee Bucks and will sit out a second straight game on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors. Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins has said that Bane will "miss a little time" because of the injury. Bane's injury has given Luke Kennard an opportunity to start, but he struggled in Monday's win over the San Antonio Spurs, missing all three attempts from deep and finishing with six points. Kennard may not receive many more chances, as Marcus Smart (finger) and Vince Williams Jr. (ankle) are nearing their return to the lineup.

Trae Young Wed Feb 5 7:10am

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (Achilles) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. The Hawks star has been dealing with right Achilles tendinitis throughout the season, but this hasn't stopped him from posting back-to-back games with 34 points. He has had three games with 20-plus points and 20-plus assists, becoming the first player since John Stockton in 1989-;90 to record more than two such performances in a single season. If Young suffers a setback and can't play, Keaton Wallace should pick up the slack, with Dyson Daniels and Vit Krejci getting additional playmaking responsibilities.

Joel Embiid Wed Feb 5 1:00am

76ers' C Joel Embiid recorded a triple-double, finishing with 29 points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds in a 118-116 win over the Mavericks on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

Damian Lillard Tue Feb 4 9:30pm

Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (groin) is questionable for Wednesday's game in Charlotte. The former Trail Blazer wasn't available for Monday's loss to OKC because of left groin soreness. But the Bucks were extremely shorthanded, with Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Khris Middleton (ankles), Bobby Portis (personal) and Brook Lopez (back) also sidelined for that one. Luckily, Middleton, Portis, and Lopez are probable for Wednesday night, so they should be more involved offensively if Antetokounmpo and Lillard aren't on the floor versus the Hornets. Fantasy managers may also see expanded production from Gary Trent Jr. and Taurean Prince.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Tue Feb 4 9:20pm

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup with the Hornets. The Greek Freak has dealt with right patella tendinopathy for most of the season. Despite that, he's averaged a career-high 31.8 points with 12.2 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.3 blocks. Antetokounmpo was sidelined for Monday's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Fortunately, the team could have Khris Middleton (ankles), Brook Lopez (back), and Bobby Portis (personal) back on the floor, which will certainly help. If Damian Lillard (groin), who is also questionable, and Antetokounmpo don't suit up, Middleton, Lopez, and Portis should be more involved on the offensive end. The same can be said about Gary Trent Jr.

    De'Aaron Fox Tue Feb 4 8:00pm

San Antonio Spurs guard De'Aaron Fox is set to make his team debut against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. Fox was acquired by the Spurs in part of a three-team trade on Monday. The addition of Fox almost certainly means that Chris Paul will move to the bench. It seems likely that the Spurs would want to pair rookie Stephon Castle with Fox in the backcourt. Fox was one of the best point guards in the league while playing in Sacramento. That should continue to be the case in San Antonio, so fantasy managers better make sure to get Fox active in their lineups.

Draymond Green Tue Feb 4 7:50pm

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (calf) is listed as probable ahead of Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz. Green returned to the court on Monday after missing seven games in a row due to a calf injury. The veteran big man didn't seemed to be limited as he finished with four points, seven rebounds, and five assists in 28 minutes of action. The fact Green is listed as probable means he should play, barring any setbacks ahead of tip-off. At this point, fantasy managers know exactly what they're going to get from Green in terms of fantasy production.

Robert Williams Tue Feb 4 7:40pm

Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III will suit up for Tuesday's game, according to head coach Chauncey Billups. Williams was healthy for Monday's game, but didn't play which marked his fourth absence in a row. Now, Williams is expected to take over Donovan Clingan's role as the backup center to Deandre Ayton. That doesn't mean much considering Clingan hasn't played more than 11 minutes in four straight games. There really is no incentive for fantasy managers to roster Williams right now. He's struggling to find playing time and Clingan is likely to see an increased role down the stretch of the season. The best path for Williams to find more playing time would be getting traded ahead of Thursday's deadline.

Lauri Markkanen Tue Feb 4 7:30pm

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (back) is listed as questionable ahead of Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Markkanen seemed fine during Monday's game against the Indiana Pacers. The 27-year-old has been dealing with a lingering back issue for some time, but he has played over 30 minutes per game in each of the last three contests. The Jazz aren't exactly playing for anything this season, so opting to rest Markkanen for younger players isn't shocking. Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski should see more action in the rotation if Markkanen is out. Both players are possible low-end streaming options if Markkanen heads to the bench.

Collin Sexton Tue Feb 4 7:30pm

Utah Jazz guard Collin Sexton (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday's game and won't be on the court for at least a week. Sexton suffered a left ankle sprain during Monday's contest. The team has decided to let him rest and re-evaluate Sexton in a week. The Jazz aren't exactly playing for anything right now, so it wouldn't be shocking to see Sexton sit out through the All-Star break. In the meantime, Jordan Clarkson and Keyonte George should see bigger roles in the rotation. Both have been solid fantasy options lately. Clarkson is still working his way back from injury, so George might be the safer option at the moment. However, both players should be viable options while Sexton is sidelined.

Zach LaVine Tue Feb 4 7:20pm

Sacramento Kings guard Zach LaVine is expected to make his team debut against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. LaVine was unavailable for Monday's game after being traded in three-team deal from the Chicago Bulls. Obviously, LaVine wasn't going to make the trip to Minnesota on such short notice, but he will be available for Wednesday's contest. LaVine missed the last three games before the trade due to the birth of his child. There is a chance that LaVine is under a minutes limit during his team debut. Despite that, fantasy managers in season-long formats can feel comfortable getting LaVine in their lineups ahead of this game.
