New York Knicks guard Josh Hart (ankle) is listed as questionable heading into Monday's matchup with the Washington Wizards. If Hart is unable to play, Landry Shamet and Jordan Clarkson could see an increased workload. The Knicks will be without Mitchell Robinson (rest) at the end of the back-to-back. Hart chipped in 14 points and nine rebounds yesterday, an improvement over his five points and 6.6 rebound average this season. With the Wizards rested, look for a big night from Kyshawn George and CJ McCollum against a depleted Knicks roster.
New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (rest) will miss Monday's matchup, the second leg of a back-to-back, despite just 13 minutes on Sunday. Robinson has appeared in just two games this season as he works himself back into shape following a left ankle injury he struggled with through the preseason. When healthy, the big man's excellent rebounding and shot-blocking potential make him a starting option at a shallow center position. Robinson can be dropped at this stage of the season despite his potential. His inability to stay healthy, appearing in just 48 games over the past two seasons, leaves him expendable if you don't have an injured reserve spot to stash him.
Sacramento Kings point guard Dennis Schroder (hip) will be available for Monday night's matchup with the Denver Nuggets. Schroder was listed as questionable leading up to the matchup. The 32-year-old is coming off his best performance of the season in Saturday's 135-133 win over the Bucks. Schroder managed 24 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and two steals in the contest. Malik Monk (personal) is currently away from the team, which points to an uptick in Schroder's usage. The guard should start in all formats heading into Monday's game.
Sacramento Kings guard Zach LaVine (back) is expected to play in Monday night's matchup with the Denver Nuggets. LaVine has been hampered by lower back soreness, but has yet to miss time this season. The 30-year-old guard has been incredible to start the season, averaging 29.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.7 assists through the first six games. With Malik Monk sidelined, the veteran has shouldered the majority of the scoring load for the Kings, but faces a stiff test against a Nuggets defense that is allowing just 111.8 points per game, fourth in the league. The Nuggets will likely focus their defense on LaVine to slow him down, as a one-on-one matchup against Christian Braun could set up a big day.
Memphis Grizzlies center Zach Edey (ankle) was assigned to the G-League's Memphis Hustle on Monday. Edey's stay with the Grizzlies affiliate should be brief, as the second-year big man recovers from offseason ankle surgery. Edey placed fifth in Rookie of the Year voting last year, after averaging 9.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 66 games. An early-November return for Edey would mark a significant shift in the team's lineup as Jaren Jackson Jr. shifts to power forward, and Jock Landale likely returns to a reserve role. Edey should be stashee immediately ahead of his return to the lineup.
Atlanta Hawks point guard Keaton Wallace (illness) participated in Monday's practice after missing Sunday's matchup with the Cavaliers. Wallace is averaging just 11.2 minutes per game while operating as a depth piece behind Trae Young. Wallace is shooting 62.5% from three this season, and should be viewed as a depth piece that can shoot from distance while chipping in assists if his minutes tick up. Continue to monitor injury reports if you're in need of point guard depth ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Orlando Magic.
Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard (shoulder) will miss a sixth consecutive game on Monday after officially being ruled out due to a left shoulder strain. The fourth-year combo guard hasn't been able to play since the season opener, while the Pacers suffer injury after injury. Their guard depth is down to the bottom of their barrel, so both fantasy managers in deep leagues and DFS managers can find some value here and there for streaming purposes. Quenton Jackson had a big double-double in their last game on Saturday, while Jarace Walker has also played very well in extended minutes. RayJ Dennis (questionable - back) has received some more time, while Johnny Furphy also got 23 minutes. Jackson and Walker are the top two for streaming priority, but Dennis and Furphy could provide some guard stats in a pinch, too.
Indiana Pacers guard T.J. McConnell (hamstring) has been ruled out on Monday and still won't make his season debut after a hamstring injury during preseason. The veteran point guard isn't being rushed back as the team goes through a rough injury bug to start out the year. While McConnell, Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles), Bennedict Mathurin (toe), and Andrew Nembhard (shoulder) are all sidelined, Johnny Furphy, RayJ Dennis, Quenton Jackson, and Ben Sheppard have been getting the backcourt minutes. Dennis is currently listed as questionable, while Jackson started in their last game and put up 25 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, and three steals. Jackson has looked like the best streaming option while Jarace Walker also stuffs the stat sheet with extra minutes.
Indiana Pacers guard Johnny Furphy (foot) is likely to play in Monday's contest against the Milwaukee Bucks after drawing a probable tag on the injury report. The second-year guard is in line for plenty of minutes since the team is getting hit hard by the injury bug. Furphy played in their 23 minutes in the Pacers' first win on Saturday and registered five points, three rebounds, and two steals while shooting 2-for-4 from the floor and 1-for-2 from deep. Furphy would only be an option in very deep leagues and some DFS lineups, but the Pacers will probably have a ton of different lineups while they go through a gap year without Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles).
Charlotte Hornets forward Tidjane Salaun will be heading down to the G League to play with the Greensboro Swarm. Hornets beat writer Rod Boone reports that the team is making the decision ahead of their mini road trip, so he likely won't play in the next two games. Salaun was the sixth-overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft and hasn't really seen much playing time so far this season. He shot very poorly from the floor in his rookie year (.330), and has marginally improved through seven games this season (.368). He's only received around 11 minutes per contest this year, so his absence won't change much to the value of the rest of the bench, except for maybe some added opportunities for KJ Simpson or Pat Connaughton.
Portland Trail Blazers guard Blake Wesley will be out for the foreseeable future after the fourth-year guard was diagnosed with a fracture of his fifth metatarsal on his right foot. The team said in their statement that a timeline for his return "will be determined at a later date." Wesley was receiving the most playing time he's seen since his rookie year, leading up to this injury, and was averaging 6.0 points, 3.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 steals across 16.3 minutes per game. With Scoot Henderson (hamstring) out, Wesley was playing the backup point guard. In his absence, however, it looks like the last healthy guard standing is Rayan Rupert until Matisse Thybulle (thumb) returns. Neither provides much value, even as streaming options.
Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Anthony Edwards (hamstring) is trending in the right direction on Monday. The team announced that the superstar has been cleared for contact in practice, but he will remain out for the time being. ESPN's Shams Charania initially reported that Edwards would be out for two weeks, and he's missed one week so far, which seems to put him on schedule. In the meantime, Mike Conley has joined the starting five and has averaged 9.3 points, 5.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game in that time. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect to find a streaming option that gives the level of production that Edwards can give, but Conley has been a decent option so far in category formats.
Los Angeles Lakers' G Luka Doncic recorded a triple-double, finishing with 29 points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds in a 130-120 win over the Heat on Sunday, Nov. 2.
Chicago's G Josh Giddey recorded a triple-double, finishing with 23 points, 12 assists and 12 rebounds in a 116-128 loss to New York on Sunday, Nov. 2.
Milwakee Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) will miss at least the next four weeks. The 2019 No. 30 overall pick suffered an ankle injury on opening-night in the win over the Washington Wizards. Although he was nearing a return, he sustained a meniscus injury in his right knee during a recent on-court session and will need to undergo "a minor orthopedic procedure." Porter was projected to see a surge in fantasy production as the team's starting point guard. However, with Ryan Rollins averaging 18.2 points and 5.5 assists, Porter may not be a lock to re-enter the starting lineup upon his return. With that said, the 25-year-old should still be stashed in all fantasy formats while he's on the shelf.
Chicago Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu (quadriceps) won't play in Sunday's rematch against the Knicks. These clubs met on Halloween night, with Dosunmu finishing with 22 points in 29 minutes from off the bench. Unfortunately, a left quad contusion will keep him out on Sunday, although it remains to been seen if he'll be back on Tuesday versus the Philadelphia 76ers. As far as Sunday's contest is concerned, Kevin Huerter should see more action. Dalen Terry and Noa Essengue may also get more work.
Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (shoulder) didn't travel with the team for the upcoming four-game road trip. He's already been ruled out for Sunday's meeting with the Charlotte Hornets. However, the latest update presumably means he may also miss the next three contests while undergoing additional testing on the preexisting shoulder issue. The 24-year-old is having a fantastic season, averaging 14.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks. He's also shot 75.0% from behind the arc. In the meantime, Jusuf Nurkic, averaging 7.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals during the first five games of the 2025 campaign, should be in line for an uptick in production. Nurkic has already been named a starter for Sunday's game, so his value will continue to increase if that trend continues for upcoming road games against Boston, Detroit, and Minnesota.
Charlotte Hornets center Ryan Kalkbrenner (personal) is available for Sunday's meeting with the Utah Jazz. He was listed as questionable due to personal reasons. However, the rookie will be on the floor versus a Jazz team that won't have Walker Kessler (shoulder). Kalkbrenner has had a decent inaugural campaign thus far, averaging 10.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks. LaMelo Ball (ankle) will get the night off, meaning Kalkbrenner may see more scoring opportunities.
Utah Jazz center Jusuf Nurkic will start in Sunday's game versus the Charlotte Hornets, his former team. Walker Kessler (shoulder) isn't available for this one. However, it appears there's a good chance Kessler may miss more time beyond Sunday's contest. As a result, Nurkic, averaging 7.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in five appearances during the 2025 campaign, should see a noticeable bump from a production standpoint. Fantasy managers in all formats may get good production out of the 31-year-old while Kessler is out of commission, giving him upside for those looking for a streaming option for at least the next few games.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) won't play on Sunday versus the Utah Jazz. He was listed as doubtful earlier on Sunday because of right ankle impingement, so the latest update isn't surprising. However, assuming he's not dealing with anything serious and only taking the night off to rest, he should be back for Tuesday's game in New Orleans. Miles Bridges and Collin Sexton have the best chance of getting most of the additional scoring opportunities. Sion James, Kon Knueppel, and Tre Mann should also be more involved.
