Brooklyn Dodgers Mon Mar 30 12:13pm ET

Don’t worry klub you can add fat boy to your roster for in a few weeks when I drop him

Launch Angle Mon Mar 30 10:21am ET
Based on my horrific weekend performances, he might have been a worthwhile add
Kluber Lang 11 Mon Mar 30 10:11am ET

There’s a chance brook permanently glitched the system when they seen him not only pick up but put an actual bid on Alek Manoah. System hasn’t seen a move that bad in some time thought it could have been hackers

Brooklyn Dodgers Mon Mar 30 8:55am ET

You can only trade through the app right now it is not letting you though the website

i struggled yesterday with waiver claim because of it didn’t let me do it through the app I had to go through the website something that should of taken me 20 to 25 minutes took me over 2 hours

SmashedTaters Mon Mar 30 8:32am ET

It's been the site on my phone, not the app

Jev's Cash Cow - $250 FB Dynasty Mon Mar 30 8:23am ET
On the app or the site? The app is working and the site is giving me the same error
SmashedTaters Mon Mar 30 7:55am ET

Is anyone else having issues accessing certain options like trade tab? It keeps telling me that I need to renew.

Brooklyn Dodgers Sat Mar 28 4:29pm ET

As I feared Oneil Cruz might sit against lefties

I got to get you guys to start talking about something 🤣… I been inching to talk about him but couldn’t because I am in too many leagues and I didn’t want other to snipe him from me… I remember hyping up Bryce miller in this league and Dan hogan got him from me in another league… hogan got me

Hit or Get Off the Pot Fri Mar 27 3:26pm ET
I immediately regret getting involved in this. Like Keanu Reeves, if you say 1+1=5, you’re right have fun.

Wake me when we're done with Pena...
Brooklyn Dodgers Fri Mar 27 2:47pm ET

True they can both bust but I’m certain made won’t bust if I had a new dynasty team I probly want to start it with made over Pena because his obp will give him a higher floor in points leagues and Pena has a chance of being a bust

Charlie Baseball Fri Mar 27 2:37pm ET

the right answer is probably a little bit of this, a little bit of that and then close your eyes as you roll the dice.....wish i had a $1 for every potential all star I held too long that never panned out and another $1 for all the ones that didn't look good at all for 2 or 3 years and I got rid of them just before they turned into the studs they were supposed to....

I never really look into those stats Charlie shit maybe I need to start looking into them

made has the edge on those stats but guy doesn’t chase like Pena made is going to be a on base machine..iif you calculate how many total bases per at bat I’m sure Pena would be higher because made had 79 more at bats to generate more total bases if that makes any sense? Pena obp in low A before concusion was .375

made: .379 obp, 187TB (453 at bats)

pena/ .335 obp, 159TB (374 at bats)

I guess I'm too much of an oldtimer or not smart enough for all the latest analytics. I do quite a bit of judging off of the simple on base % and total base metrics. Those relate closer to points for me. When I see guys like Ben & Rice Royce Lewis in the top 10 of some stat it makes me wonder how useful the stat really is. Again, most likely just means I'm an old timer or not smart enough to fully understand how those other stats relate.

on base %                               total bases

Juan Soto - .396                     Ohtani - 380

Ohtani - .392                           Judge - 372

Perdomo - .389                       Raleigh - 351

Guerrero - .381                       Schwarber - 340

Tucker - .377                           Alonso - 327

Marte - .376                             Caminero - 322

Devers - .372                           Witt - 312

Tatis - .368                                Suarez - 309

Listen to baseball America on Pena, I have a strong feeling made is going to be a star. But I think Pena going to be special I see a lot of ronold acuna jr in his swing

sticky upside is based on certain factors example

hit tool- in zone contact, chase rate. Barrels, launch angle and other factors

Power tool - is based on how hard you can hit the ball the harder you hit the ball the more potential for homeruns. granted hit tool plays a factor on if you can tap into that power, prospect projections also take into consideration players frame example Konnor Griffin is 6’ 4” so he has more room to increase his exit velocities by adding muscle

speed tool - is how fast you are the faster you are the potential for stealing more bases granted you have to get on base for tapping into that speed.

You can compare made and Pena when both healthy in Low-A keep in mind that’s a over 300 at bat sample size while the high a sample size is just a little over 100 at bats..

made

Low A  20.6 k% and 14 bb%

high A 17.9 k%

pena

Low A 13.3 k% and 9 bb%

High A 24.8 k%

im just saying when you compared Pena to Made before the concussion Pena got he wasn’t the same when he came back… I saw video of Pena guy has elite bat to ball skills but like guys with elite bat to ball skills tend to expand the zone

Look at 2025 mlb players who had a 113 max EV

- **Kyle Stowers**: 113.7 mphl

- **Ben Rice**: 113.5 mph

- **Austin Riley**: 113.9 mph.

- **Brent Rooker**: 113.3 mph.

- **Wyatt Langford**: 113.1 mph.

- **Royce Lewis**: 113.7 mph.

- **Matt Chapman**: 113.5 mph.

- **Christian Walker**: ~113.2 mph

- **Christian Yelich**: ~113.4 mph.

-**Bryce Harper 113.8 mph

my biggest concern for Pena that I don’t have for made is the ability to hitting the breaking ball because he hasn’t proven it. it’s a small sample of 100 at bats but Pena saw over 60% breaking pitching in high A and struggled I don’t know if he wasn’t right from the concussion or he just struggled or both. But we will see he either rises to the challenge  and becomes Brooklyns next superstar or waddles like a duck and is thrown back to the sharks but the upside is there

Pena is a solid prospect and will probably be a good big leaguer (as long as his approach improves). That's not the point. Made has a much higher ceiling and is already more refined than Pena. And I don't think the Brewers promoted Made to AA, after he dog-walked A+ pitchers, because of defensive abilities.

Sticky Balls 69 wrote: lol. The brewers clearly think higher of made based on their actions. But I’m sure Brook’s single event max ev is more important than the brewers evaluation!

Yes made is a superior defender and a actual infielder… Pena is not a infielder and has no chance of playing shortstop in mlb… so even if the bats of made and Pena are = made has far more valued to the brewers based on position potential at the mlb level..

sticky 113 for a 18 year old is impressive especially for a guy with a 16% k rate and 8% walk rate…  there players his age who can’t get that with metal bats

Brooklyn Dodgers Thu Mar 26 12:16pm ET

No knock on Konnor griffin he the bar of elite talent for power

EV90- 107.5

Hard hit - 50%
max EV - 14.5
